161  Economy / Economics / Re: Is anybody tracking lost bitcoins? on: February 11, 2019, 05:13:43 PM
As dothebeats says, you will never know how much of bitcoins were actually lost,in this forum people may recorded their lost amount recently but in the year 2011 or before most of the people didn't care about their private keys and just got stored huge pile of bitcoin without much security on it and finally they became lost and inaccessible coins forever.

By the way can I know why you are collecting this info?
162  Economy / Economics / Re: The Factors of Demand and supply on: February 11, 2019, 02:59:50 PM
Demand and Supply are the factors a sense in the market, the volume of a fundamental role and the great information, besides that the market is handled by means of emotions.
The emotions creates supply and demand here, that is the reason people who want to manipulate the prices gets them desired results by rolling our positive and negative news about the cyptos currencies based on how they want to manipulate the prices.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to coins that peeged their ICO to Ethereum? on: February 11, 2019, 01:27:39 PM
They might move along with ETH but if the project is decent enough it should start to move away into it's own path.  There are a few that have used ETH for the ICO and then broke off onto their own platform.
They don't even have hope on their token for creating their own blockchain then this project don't reach a successful phase in long term.Good to find a project which is actually working based on their plan not based on the situation.
164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are traders born or made? on: February 11, 2019, 11:50:18 AM
They were made based on their life learning,if you do research about most of the successful people in this world they were became rich from very poor family which shows thay their parents may not have that ability to make money, when a person have strong determination onto something they will work for it and will try to reach that goal.I see everything in this world as trading so the one who knows how to sell better will be more richer in quick time.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: Romania has approved a 10% tax on profits from cryptocurrency trading on: February 11, 2019, 06:42:02 AM
It's good to see that Governments are coming forward to use crypto, making laws too. A question in my mind, How Govt gonna detect all the crypto users if they never went to the bank? How they will monitor every transaction in their country?
Its great, and there will be more of it in the future. Some countries are open for new technologies and in my opinion countries that accept cryptocurrencies before others will have more benefits in the future from that, something like early adopters have more benefits over everyone else here. They don`t need to monitor every transaction, they just monitor exchanges and the people who did KYC, but you still can be off the grid if you want that,
Still it is impossible to analyze the exact statistics of crypto users in their country because cryptos also can be bought from P2P in that case there will be no recorded data on crypto holdings and some exchanges have KYC for less limit and if people using that exchange everyday to hide themselves from taxation.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty campaign is becoming absolutely useless. on: February 10, 2019, 03:07:55 PM
Asking for video call doing bounties? Good idea to eliminate altaccounts but it is against the anonymity.

I don't think bounty managers will do that since they were doing bounties to get more exposure of the project so if they were limiting participants means the exposure will get reduced.

In my experience bounty managers care about the outcome of an ICO just as much as a bounty hunter, which is not at all. They shoot themselves in the foot trying to milk "free" tokens out of it by doing as little actual work as possible, then get disappointed when the ICO is a failure and the tokens fail to achieve value. I hope the practice dies down soon.
Most of the bounties were managed by the project name itself which causes more spam on this forum since later 2017.So they will look for quantity only since they are doing it for making money that is why our forum need to have some guidelines if they want to manage bounties and it should be moderator and havily punished if the rules are broken by them which can kill spam and alt accounts.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty campaign is becoming absolutely useless. on: February 09, 2019, 03:56:33 PM
Indeed, every time this forum make a new rule is tightened and I think it will succeed in reducing the above problems, nonetheless they will never keep silent to find a way to deceive the new rules. I guess every bounty campaign manager must have a maximum limit for participants on each project, for example, he only limits 100 people per project, and for the participant who will be accept they should do a video call to monitor multiple accounts.

168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This person made $500,000 with gambling and lost it all within 60 seconds! on: February 09, 2019, 12:46:44 PM
Story doesn't add up. What was the gambler thinking? What he  trying to achieve after winning such an amount of money($500,000)?
It's either he was  wealthy already and could afford it or he had serious gambling addiction problem.

This is the clear case of what greediness can lead at the end of the event. A normal rational person would quit and take away the 500k$ and enjoy for the leisure life rather than playing all in again and end up losing and taking nothing finally at the end of the day.
Even normal people can't get out of that situation but maybe he won't bet all the money again so the player mush have decent savings level to bet that all money to test it again. But this is gambling we don't have anything in our hands its all written when we were born itself, that's fate. Cheesy
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is that GREEN? BTC BULL RUN V2019? on: February 09, 2019, 05:25:24 AM
Very very early to come into a conclusion like bull run of 2019,but it gives some hope for all the investors so make this bump into a bull run so keep avoid dumping for now or it will take too much time to bump again.
I saw the market cap by today only and got excited to how long we are going to enjoy this green days.
170  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Who still mining using this site genesis-mining.com? is it scam? on: February 08, 2019, 06:23:45 PM
I login to my old genesis account, which still have some contract left. They still paying out but i as people said above its not profitable. If you want to invest there, i suggest you don't do it and better find other way to invest your money.
if you can earn even a little then i think we can use that for investment still cloud mining can turn not good like they can scam or hack us anytime so that's the risky thing about this so for me do trading and gambling than cloud mining
Gambling is not an investment, its just an entertainment.

If you are interested on investing on gambling sites then it may be useful investment and can give some decent returns as well.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Is government the most influential factor that affects Bitcoin price? on: February 08, 2019, 04:45:33 PM
Government is the key how to make bitcoin price will growing up, last years when bitcoin banned by China's government bitcoin price have down and lower, next time we are waiting which one country want to help bitcoin have higher price again.
Really the action didn't affect the prices but that news affect the prices all over the world but still it didn't last longer after that only we see that crazy bull run of the crypto currency. So if the next time you see any news regarding the crypto currency no need to act for that when you are holding it long term.
172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please advise me which coins best for the day trading on: February 08, 2019, 02:21:37 PM
I usually look at what is trending and what exchanges I can find rhe specific coins

yes most of people trade usually BTC or Ethereum but it can get boring soon

for example right now many people are trading BTT and tron, since the ICO just finished and there was a lot of hype

do your own research always
For day trading specific coin don't work, only the coin at the trend will give more bumps and dumps where we can generate more profits.BTC and ETH are suitable for fiat to crypto and vice versa for day trading because they want to eliminate risk of losing their capital but trading on exchange means they will trade against BTC or ETH to make profits.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your funds secured? on: February 08, 2019, 11:06:38 AM
Im quite new to crypto so i wanted to know what exchanges do you use and i'd be grateful for advises on security. I currently keep my crypto on localbitcoins but it recently got hacked to im concerned for my money. I want to move it somewhere safe but still be able to make trades without much fuss. Im still learning to trade but im pretty serious about it. Can you recommend me a good exchange that hasn't been hacked yet?
Exchanges not meant for storing it is only for exchanging your funds so if you are storing there means then it is your mistake.Wallets are the one we need to store our funds and the type of wallet will choose the security level and if you want maximum security then you should buy an hardware wallet.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Nerd money or not? on: February 08, 2019, 06:05:43 AM
So, most of the people in this thread agree on one thing, Bitcoin is Smart Money and Fiat currency is Stupid Money. Also, the people who label Bitcoin as Nerd money are not that smart or should I rather say, not smart enough to use it.  Grin

A label will not deter smart people to replace Stupid technologies with Smart technologies, it will just motivate them more to prove stupid people wrong. I say again,  ---<< Nerds will rule this world >>---  Grin
Bitcoin is not just smart, its ultimate because no one can ask you why you are using this are paying to someone only you are in the full authority of your money, full freedom.Just use #freedomofusingourmoney to label the bitcoin and trend it everywhere. Cheesy
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ETH lost on YoBit (contract deposit) on: February 07, 2019, 07:41:26 PM
YoBit has a warning not to deposit contract, so you can say it's my fault.
They should refund, however it takes some time. I had a similar situation when using Changenow when I did not pay attention to the warning, and they returned the funds to me a few hours. I believe that Yobit must return your funds, so you should contact their support. If they do not do it, it will be a signal that in this way they are trying to appropriate your funds.
You are using an new exchange so their customer support will be high and they will assist you in all the forms to bring trust on you but Yobit is not really new and it already lost their reputation I think so they won't care about any accusations against them. But nothing here to accuse when their terms is clear here.
176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to find a mentor for trading on: February 07, 2019, 02:07:12 PM
Mentor is good for our success in trading and I must said it is also sometimes very difficult to manage your emotions during trading if somebody is not mentoring you especially if you at a lose positions. I do follow this guy on twitter for market directions time to time https://twitter.com/wandering_will
I don't like to follow anyone while trading because people have intention to manipulate us so just following ourselves will make more benefits to us.But making our mind free while doing trading will be good to make the better decision so you can follow some things which can make you to be relaxed.
177  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Who still mining using this site genesis-mining.com? is it scam? on: February 07, 2019, 12:41:23 PM
If you are indicating if its a scam, you're false. If you are indicating if its not a scam, you're false too. It is a typical ponzis scheme where another user get paid if there is another user paid to the platform.
Ponzi is also can be considered as scam.
Quote
A ponzi scheme is a form of fraud which lures investors and pays profits to earlier investors by using funds obtained from more recent investors

Already lot of people said cloud mining is really waste of your time and money,I'm just echoing that statement.
Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New casino vs old and trusted one on: February 07, 2019, 07:44:20 AM
Yes they still have a chance to become popular who new bitcoin casino now even there is a lot of popular casino now.  If the criteria of the player are see on that casino like good service for sure they will become popular with help of word of mouth of the person who experienced because for sure they will share their experienced in the new bitcoin casino.
Customer satisfaction is very important for a new gambling site because they can help to market the gambling site which is good for a new casino. The word of mouth is very powerful, it may hard to please people but if you offer best services you will have more players on board. A lot of old casinos are working for more than a year now though its challenging but it is still possible to compete with great casinos and surpass them in terms of popularity and good service.
We are more advance now, people can post their feed back online and especially in social media and if the feed back is bad, it will affect the reputation of the gambling site and that will not bring good result to them, and remember than the competition keeps growing, so they might be out performed by the new one. I actually like the idea of online gambling as it's faster and more entertaining, and thanks to the competition.
More gambling sites = more competition = best gambling experience.

So we need that competition to bring the online gambling to the most entertained and flawless,I really don't play based on the age of gambling sites but customer feedback will pay big role on my selection.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ETH lost on YoBit (contract deposit) on: February 07, 2019, 05:47:02 AM
When they had warnings that don't do deposit from contracts then they are not going to refund any money even if they can do,because that is their terms and you agreed that so you don't have to ask for any money since its your fault.I am not sure Yobit is still active or not because already lot of people faced many issues from that site.
180  Economy / Economics / Re: Opinions about the emergence of new Coins on: February 06, 2019, 06:22:29 PM
