161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Happy accidents on: May 22, 2019, 05:13:21 AM
Hmm, I haven't consider any major mistake so far when I'm gambling. I guess the worst thing I did is intentionally place a bet on the underdog team during a basketball match (just the local one). Its opponent is leading 1-0 to a best of 3 match but I still did such think because I have a strong feeling that they can tied up despite of being not a well known strong team. Fortunately, I won and able to brag on my friends at the same time Grin.

People always love the underdog and the potential prize you can win is very high Smiley  Imagine if you put money on Leicester City F.C. to win the Premier league a few years back.  They odds were 5000:1 for them to win the title.  You could of won $1million with only a $200 bet.
Maybe no one provides bets at the start of the season to choose who the winner is at the end of the season, even if there is but the underdog team will not be on the list. Anyway, betting on each match by choosing the underdog team will also get high odds and if you are lucky then it will also make you get happy accidents.
Then it is not an accident at all because accident will be extra or unwanted attempts that can result in rather win if you are not expecting any win or lose if you are expecting a win. Whether it is the start of game, middle of the game or end of the game you can win only by your luck if you are playing a luck-based game. On the other hand, gambler wins easily if they play strategic game with tricks and strategies they use while playing.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: May 21, 2019, 12:15:25 PM

[im g]https://i.ytimg.com/vi/YSbmjtdMz1Y/maxresdefault.jpg[/img]

The general sentiment of the market is getting very positive on Bitcoin as it is experiencing some upward movement. A lot of people are expecting that Bitcoin will soon breach the $6,000 level and can possibly go beyond that level in the coming weeks and months...and there are those already predicting of $8,000 or even $10,000 before 2019 ends. I know this is just another speculative notions but this can be reflective of the ongoing confidence the market has on the King of Cryptos.

With this backdrop in mind, will you advise a newbie to bitcoin to enter at this stage so he can be able to ride the coming "boom" or will you tell him to wait some more until the market is dipping?

It is never too late to enter bitcoins. Even now, it might be a high time to enter into bitcoins as we can see high volatility and price gap in-between 24 hours gap which might really seem much attractive for the newbies. Newbies would actually enter the bitcoin markets in these situation with greed in their mind and expecting the bull markets to arrive as soon as they buy their first coin.

This might not give them profits but just anxiety to lose their funds. It might be good if newbies could enter the market where they need to hold on the coins for atleast 1-2 months to gain any profits. Current markets might not be profitable for newbies who would use less brain and would more believe on the FUD's.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make profit from a dice game? Have any unique strategy? on: May 21, 2019, 11:44:00 AM
Here is a thing, it's called gambling for a reason, I have tried hard to make regular profits with multiple strategies but it's doesn't work that way. I'd suggest you to stay away from it for peace of mind or play with funds that you think you already lost.

That is right.

I do gamble but I don't take it seriously. I gamble but I know my limits and I don't really hope I win, I do hope but, you know, there is like someone talking to me inside of me saying that it will not be a good thing if that hope continues. I usually bet on some games especially this NBA final are coming. Better make a limitation if you can in these games, it is pure luck and it will not make you rich.
That is right, games such as dice are fully based on your luck and you will only win if you are lucky enough. In many games some gamblers win it as they are lucky but some lose that reflects that the ratio of win and lose in a specific game is the same especially in luck-based games. You efforts will work out much only in games like poker and others in which you can win by applying your tricks and strategies.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: May 21, 2019, 10:26:57 AM

Maybe as long we can control for what amount that we want to gamble i think it is not bad to do gambling when we are sad or happy. I mean people is different, maybe when they sad or maybe happy, as long it not make that people suffer, it is still safe to do.
Well, you have the point, as long as they will not suffer on the consequences, they can gamble anytime they want.
Gambling in crypto is 24/7, that gives us a chance to play anytime we like to, but with disciplines as that would make us safe in gambling.

This kind of entertainment should not be for people with lack of discipline as it's very risky to them, they might loss big when they loss control.

Agree to your statement, we should have discipline on this action because it's very risky when you push it through, it might have a breakdown on your income when you lose. The most important thing is, gambling is one of the reason why people still buying btc except for trading. Gambling in here was very transparent and was controlled by the algorithm and probabilities unlike in the house, they have the control in money and the win rate is very low.
Gambling is a good distraction and I think it is not bad to gamble. I am not promoting gambling but I think that if one can win, why not to gamble. There could be reward if you win and the loss could be equally full of lessons. I think the main reason why so many people are in the gambling industry in the motivation to make money.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To bust Casino? Blackjack, myths and reality on: May 21, 2019, 09:57:31 AM
Though I could not read all the text but thank you for it for someone with lots of time will definitely read it. You talked about gambling and the mystery behind the win/loss dilemma and the role played by probability and LUCK here. I believe that it is not a very uncertain thing and experience and a wise mind could untie the knots which is evidence from the fact that there are so many people around who have made great fortune in gambling.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the wallets you have been used in the past and currently using? on: May 21, 2019, 08:27:26 AM
Lets talk about what wallets we have been using in the past and now, which will be helpful for the people to find our right wallets for their needs.

If you changed wallets from one to another then you also can mention the reasons.

I am currently using electrum for storing bitcoin and stored my private keys in hard drive and MEW for ethereum and tokens.I did used coinbase when I was new but lately found that it is not safe to hold cryptos for long.
Well I am the kind of person that always love to explore new things once they are being launched into the space, this is why it would be very difficult to mention all the wallet I have used in the past, though some of the include, coinpayment.net, block.io, blockchain, info, free wallet, coinbase, luno, xapo, bitpay and currently I am making use of coinomi. From all the wallet I have made use of in time past, I have more confidence making use of coinomi.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum drop below $240 again do you believe? on: May 21, 2019, 07:51:06 AM
Will Ethereum drop below $240 again do you believe?
One of the market in the world that I know it's very difficult to predict is the crypto market, even experts find it very difficult to give accurate prediction to the direction to which the market is heading, because as far as we are concerned, the crypto market still have a very small market cap and just a little done can dump the price of a coin drastically and can also spike the price of a coin sporadically, so I cannot say if it's going to drop down back to $240 or not, but I can say you should expect both the best and the worst.
168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: small gains but cant make it big on: May 21, 2019, 07:15:59 AM

For me 30% or more gain is still possible in everyday trading, especially if you choose new cryptocurrency which has a lot of supporters.

That's everyday man?  Are you sure about that? you must be very good to earn that percentage on a daily basis, I call it impossible. Sorry...
Only Ponzi projects can guarantee daily gains and no one talks about the losses of the trading on a daily basis. It is possible but the question is to show us a proven track record for at least 6 months. Day trading can be precise in the theory but it doesn't work in the real live market because of the uncertainty.
Not just ponzi projects do that. There are many different kinds of projects that let you get some gains on daily basis but there is no promise. The market is uncertain and the risk factor also makes it difficult. I think that if you want to take big gains, you should HODL your coins for long but if your coins are too weak to gain value, you might consider switching to another coin.
169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? Important Weekly close! on: May 21, 2019, 06:38:19 AM
It seems to me that everything is just going to repeat the same story. 2019 looks very promising and I think that this year the bull run will return to us.
I am more expecting that the bull run will happen in 2020 and what we are seeing today is just the normal flow of the market which is sometimes rising and sometimes falling. The price of Bitcoin seems to be in a stable state of $7200+ at the moment since yesterday. I don't know why it just stopped suddenly like that but it seems that no one would like to push at it again thinking it would be a bulltrap. Cheesy

this is not a bulltrap and it is a real bullrun and not a normal flow, if it is only a normal increase then it will not be possible to increase that high. so by continuing to move up the price of bitcoin after yesterday's correction, then this is certain that the bear market is over and the market is already bullish
Well this is a very real bull run. Those who think it is not a real bull run should not try to be part of the market for it will hurt them. See if you see a glass half filled with water and you say the glass is half empty, you are a pessimist but if you say it is half full, you are optimist. That being said, try to be optimists and not pessimists because optimism makes you money.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling site that offer Free spin? on: May 21, 2019, 06:05:12 AM
@jak3

Stake does not offer free spin since the first day they are launched, what free spins you are referring to here? Seems that you do not understand the main point of this thread.
Free spins is usually something related to slot games while Stake does not provide Slot games. Even worst you are spamming referral link here (reported already). You are a legendary member, how could you do something which is strictly forbidden in this forum?
The free spins or coins are not much that can make you rich but need your hard work and most wins to increase your coins or bets. You can visit stake.com and other few sites which offer free play in the beginning which is better to practice only because you cannot make yourself rich in such a way. Even if you are betting high with your own money you have the risk to lose your entire amount so be careful.
171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Avoid trading unless you are sure of what you do on: May 21, 2019, 05:29:27 AM
Really it will become just like gambling, addictive and manipulative, it's very much like poker only if you are an expert you can accomplish something

This is also a remind for myself, sometime I would like to trade again but I remember the bad experiences I had with it and stop
Do t be addictive when it comes to trading give yourself a limitation, maybe sometimes we can't stop ourselves but be more careful and mature. Always think that sometimes being greedy in anything will take you to wrong situations like in trading, so better give your self a limitation. You don't need to avoid trading as long you know what you doing  and being responsible.
No need for limitations when we are in nder control, for making good profits we don't have to trade too muh, just hit at the right candle will work for us.

But don't dpened trading as your only income which is the most ricy thing and will make us more stressed.
Trading is not that much risky as much you have stated in your comment but is better than many other sources. The crypto trading in the modern era is of great importance especially with the Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and many more but the few leading coins have great preference over others. It is much benefited for traders who are making money while trading therefore they want to continue.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: May 20, 2019, 11:39:19 AM
many times gamblers tried to create some kind of winning strategy but didn't manage to do this. so you must rely only on your luck.
So do you indirectly want to say that there is a factor called luck that players an important role in determining your win/loss while you gamble? I am normally not too much inclined towards giving so much importance to this very factor because in gambling, it is nothing but random outputs and role of probability and some experience that makes things happen and not really luck. At times, when you do not have the aforementioned factors in hand and you win, call it LUCK.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO you think ICO websites help investors to choose best ICO to participate? on: May 20, 2019, 11:07:54 AM
I only visit ICO rating websites to know trending ICOs and not to help me analyze if a project is legit or not. Most are paid reviews, don't get it twisted. So it's important you do your own research, not just concluding based on the ratings you see on ICO sites. Well, some boast of reputation like ICODROPS, ICOBENCH but please, never rely completely on them.

Indeed, most ICOs rating websites are paid reviews and i am prefer make my own analysis before make investment on ICOs. But now investor looking on IEOs because exchangers already make research about the project before held IEOs. Its good alternative for investor
Because the name change from ICO to IEO dose not mean you can make a profit, most of exchanges welcome IEO because it charge huge amount during ICO from the project developers.
It is not a change in just the names but there is rather a change in some fundamental ways things used to work. Right now, the risk on the investor side has also reduced and the project on the back of the tokens sole in IEO is way too good for practical implication in various ways. In Canada, Banks and financial institutions have been making use of the technology immensely. This is going to give rise to another fundraising boom in days to come.
174  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: start trading again carefully and don't be too ambitious to get big profits ...! on: May 20, 2019, 10:23:13 AM
That's the main problem a trader is facing. When they earn peofits, they want more and they want huge. That is called, "greed". I do realized that many times and countless times I fall because of that ambition. You were right, let's not too ambitious to earn big profits to keep our track in trading and let us create a positive mindset.
You do not have to loose heart with a little loss because you know crypto has a lot to offer and one loss in say Bitcoin should not stop you from making money in the said coin. You need to focus on the down costs all the time. If you do not try to make a margin for yourself at time of purchase/investment, you will find it very hard to take care of the profit/margin when trading.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about the gambling site's having a promotion? on: May 20, 2019, 09:22:31 AM
What do you guys think about the gambling site's promotion? Does the promotion of the site help you playing their games?

Can you clarify what kind of promotion you are referring here?

Promotions like banner advertising, signature, etc. helps if they hit the right target.
Other promotions like having tournaments or other competitions definitely increase the interest of playing.
Yes because there are so many types of promotions that can be done and all types of promotions have different levels to have a large effect on the growth of related gambling sites. But I feel that gambling sites are big because of the many of feedback and trust that has been built all the time, so actually having a promotion that continues to be active will build greater trust and of course it will be very good for the long term.
If you think that a best website does not need to promote itself, you are both right and wrong. There are great companies out there like Tesla who do not spend a penny on advertisement and then companies like Amazon and Ali Baba-the e-commerce giants-who have been relying completely on advertisements over social media to attract costumers. So if a gambling website does it, it ok unless they scam you.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 51btc won in a day on: May 20, 2019, 08:26:53 AM
So it is real that people win this big on gambling Wink I think i have to start learning tactics to becoming a proffessional player, am tired of been an occasional
player that only plays for fun. The real business is here Grin Grin
It could sound hilarious to some and a motivation for others. I myself do not believe in such winnings because they are way too much and looks a bit impossible but in a world in which Binance could be hacked, winning 51BTC is not impossible as well. In addition, it triggers a motivation to achieve perfection in gambling and once you have achieved it, you can win as big as this.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arguments against XRP, the biggest shitcoin. on: May 20, 2019, 07:55:28 AM
I've heard from a lot of people that the Xrp team didn't increase in price because they released XRP on the market. Let's not forget the team has billions of xrp in hand.

thats why when the price is good enough, xrp team could sell it anytime
and this is maybe the main causes why a lot people saying to stay away from this xrp
but as a trader, i will buy xrp when the price is in good buy zone, then sell it in good price,
i never hodl xrp for long term investments  Wink

XRP is still a short-term investment, indeed many people have a view if XRP is not crypto and can attract many investors.
This is indeed feasible to be traded daily, and many will get the opportunity to make a profit.
Well there have been leading figures commenting about Ripple on Quora that it is a joke and the comment was deleted by Quora moderation team. It is not really a joke but has practical implications as it connects banks and payments service providers and digital asset exchanges through a net called ripple net to provide a frictionless channel for money transaction.
178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Intraday vs HODL on: May 20, 2019, 07:23:51 AM
Intraday vs HODL

In the current market situation which one best and what do u guys prefer

Its depend upon on us mate. For me, I prefer by holding coin such bitcoin and etherium rather than doing trading daily or intraday because I dont have time fodcthat and also one thing Im not really wise by executing trading in crypto. But someday if I could have ebough time Im willing to learn on that thing, juat for me to grow my knowledge hwre in crypto.
It is both time and the profits you gain by spending the exact amount of time with HODL. I thick the benefits of holding a bullish market are far more than what you could earn if you are not a HODLER. In fact you would still make money if you day trade in Bitcoin or ETH but that would be a bit not very handsome amount as compared to a 2x or 3x profits.
179  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance hacked. 7000 BTC stolen. on: May 20, 2019, 06:53:31 AM
At least they are returning all funds so nothing lost from a user perspective
Yes Binance has officially said in their first tweet that they will cover the cost and that is something you would never hear from another exchange. It is just Binance that tried to calm people down who had lost money and controlled the chaos. They have come back strongly with a much strong security system this time.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: May 20, 2019, 06:28:16 AM
Of course one is playing for the money in the end. If you don't want to win why you play in the first place?

We all want to win but it's different when you think of winning consistently as in that state, you need to be a serious gambler.
I am a gambler as well, I would call my activity playing for fun and of course I want to win but the reality will display which is I am losing most of the time.
Despite of that, I still have the fun especially if I'm gambling I will also experience winning though in the end I will still loss.

By gambling, we are not investing, we are spending, that's my principle in gambling.
A gambler who has the goal of looking for fun, they will not get pressure when they lose, which is why it is important to have a goal of having fun. So Expect to be a person who is always positive and thinks that gambling is entertainment. That will make ourselves able to live far more comfortably.
For me gambling is both a source of having fun and having profit as well, we should try to increase our knowledge in gambling as it sounds only fun taking but trust me it has so much profit it can make us rich faster than any other way of earning, be positive and gamble fairly it will be all profit for us we only need to focus on our goal and concentrate.

What if you are playing a game that is a luck-based game such as dice or any other game in which your win and lose is mostly luck dependent. You don’t have to be so much confident in such a way because what if you are not luck enough to win it for the first time or few losses in the beginning. Even if you win it in the start you can lose it right away based on each game. Better you focus on strategic games such as poker.
