161  Other / Meta / Clean up Service Announcements forum on: November 07, 2014, 10:09:21 AM
I think topics with more than one or two pages of discussions should be moved to the Service Discussion forum. Right now it's useless for finding new services, because almost all the top topics are old announcements being bumped again and again. Some threads have more than 100 pages.
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: 600k BTC - who is this? on: November 06, 2014, 10:21:48 AM
How much did Mark Karpeles claim to have lost...?
163  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Esoteric Investments, LLC (up to 1% earnings) on: October 30, 2014, 10:14:39 AM
Actually I found that with higher sums I can make some profit (usually >1%) from volume trading some established altcoins on multiple exchanges, in addition it makes possible to diversify my "investments" and make some short-medium term buys on high volume new(ish) coins what just hit the bottom after the initial dump (and supposed to bounce back).

I find that claims about profits from ponzi pushers are not very trustworthy.
164  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Esoteric Investments, LLC (up to 1% earnings) on: October 29, 2014, 11:41:43 AM
Or what'd be amazing is if we are at that point fully accredited, then we'll just use that coin and turn it into USD investments like stocks and commodities. Though again this will probably come with a change to our operations. Adding USD in addition to BTC adds a lot of complexity, or was I the only one puzzled by how BT did it. At that point the sky is the limit for the fund. We don't want to be only in Bitcoin forever. The term esoteric investments in the financial world spans much farther then digital currencies.

I think most people understand that if you want to make money trading bitcoins you can't have all your funds in bitcoin all the time. The fact that you don't just makes your claim of earning 1% every day seem even more silly.
165  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Esoteric Investments, LLC (up to 1% earnings) on: October 29, 2014, 08:37:30 AM
Are you dumb, you don't see anyway that it is possible to make over .1% on average daily.

I know for certain that it's possible with a limited amount of funds, but it doesn't scale to very high sums. With a higher sum of invested money the profits measured in percent will fall. That means it would be stupid for anyone who figures out how to give away the profits to random strangers.
166  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Esoteric Investments, LLC (up to 1% earnings) on: October 28, 2014, 06:21:52 PM
This is a friendly reminder that any "investment program" that offers fixed returns of 1% or more is a HYIP and therefore a Ponzi Scheme.

Even an offer of 0.1%/day would most likely be a scam.
167  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Esoteric Investments, LLC (up to 1% earnings) on: October 27, 2014, 08:47:19 AM
One of your strongest supporters (client #3!!!) turned out to be a pathological liar!  Thank goodness you were able to shut him up, but the damage is already done.

That doesn't bode well for the rest of your team - how can anyone trust anything you post?

He's running a ponzi, so appealing to his moral sense is unlikely to do much good. Quite likely Digicoinz and 1RuneKing are just suck puppet accounts. Both accounts have clearly been created to astroturf this ponzi, just like a lot of the accounts that were supporting BT.biz were created for that purpose.
168  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Esoteric Investments, LLC (up to 1% earnings) on: October 26, 2014, 08:06:36 AM
If you're so skeptical,

make an account and talk to the owners, they're in the live chat right now

Reading their lies wouldn't change anything, so that's a waste of time.
169  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Esoteric Investments, LLC (up to 1% earnings) on: October 26, 2014, 07:28:51 AM
I don't know if Eso is (or is not) a scheme; but currently they are instantly paying all my withdrawals.
Moreover, even if they become to be a ponzi, I can withdraw my money before the site break.

I assume you're just lying and hoping to pull in other victims so you can benefit from the ponzi, just like sunny1 and Digicoinz. However, the way to know for sure that it's a ponzi is that the site "breaks" and you can no longer withdraw any money. Ideally it's done in such a way that naive people will assume that it will be fixed again. This gives the scammer more time to remove evidence.

Deja vu all over again...
171  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: October 23, 2014, 12:15:32 PM
sonny1 knows it's a scam, but he's either a sock puppet account for the guy who ran BT (which may be the same person as Phantom Trader), or he just wants to pull the same trick as he has bragged about doing with BT. Get in early, help recruit users, and withdraw before it collapses.
172  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: October 21, 2014, 09:21:41 AM
yes, but if we the citizens bring a suit against them the burden is on us not them to prove what they were doing.
If you were right nobody would be convicted of running a ponzi, because it's always impossible to prove without looking at the records of the accused party. However, lots of cases against ponzies have been won, so I have to conclude that you are wrong. Running illegally by not having a licence or ridiculous TOSes certainly won't change this.
173  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: October 21, 2014, 09:07:13 AM
Actually BT didn't promise profits either, nor was anything indicated on their site that made anyone 100% sure it was a ponzi or hyip(the contact page specifically stressed they are not a hyip)(that makes for an extra hurdle in a legal setting to prove otherwise).

Actually, anyone with a clue will find it proven beyond reasonable doubt that this is a ponzi just by looking at the site and it's claims. Then it becomes BT's job to prove that they are not a ponzi and actually did trade. This would be trivial to a legitimate business, because there would be tons of records about trades in their accounts on all the exchanges they would have used.

The most of us are persons who are in finacial difficulties and who, at a despair moment, naively we trust in a malicious group.

Esoteric Investments earn about 1% per weekday. | QoinPro earn FREE Coins daily without effort.

This is getting ridiculous, even for scammers like you.
175  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: October 20, 2014, 01:12:36 PM
I can not understand how you people can just give up and say: "well they use TOR, they clever and just let them do this nasty HYIP/ PONZI or whatever   !!!
They CRIMINALS lets stop them.
Grinder I do not care about myself but have you read how some other people suffer now ?
Considering I've warned about this very frequently for at least 6 months I think I have done more than most in trying to stop them. Unfortunately it's now most likely too late for those who didn't listen. All you can do is learn to not let your wishful thinking control you the next time.
176  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: October 20, 2014, 12:19:13 PM
I hope you realize that being on this list means outing yourself as a sucker, and you will be on the short list of scammers who will target you for their new ponzies. It's even maintained by a person who uses the messages it generates to promote a new ponzi. It is unlikely that you will ever find the guy behind BT, so the most you can hope to get from it is a little bit of sympathy. All communications from "John Carley" were probably done using Tor and other anonymous methods, and the bank transfers through unknowing people he paid through Localbitcoins or similar.
177  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: October 20, 2014, 08:52:35 AM
Why would they release customer information? Shadowscripts is software specifically intended for HYIP (=Ponzi schemes). As far as they are concerned, Bitcoin Trader is a satisfied customer.
They probably don't even have it. You can see from the payment processors that they know their customers. All of them are of the shady kind that ponzies use because they do anonymous transfers. They only support Solid TrustPay for selling their software.
178  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: October 20, 2014, 08:47:36 AM
And yet you haven't learnt your lesson because you are promoting another HYIP in your signature.
Thanks Seretonin;
Please! Be politness with people that you are talking for the first time.
Why should anyone be polite to vultures like you? I see no reason to be polite to someone who promotes obvious scams.
179  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: October 19, 2014, 11:36:47 AM
Yonce was a scumbag. He was slagging off this HYIP (rightfully so) while actively promoting other HYIPs that he was a part of that have since closed.

Unlike sunny1 and probably a lot of others he didn't lie about his intentions or it being a HYIP (which is just another word for ponzi), though.
180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Arbitrage 2014-15 on: October 17, 2014, 12:21:32 PM
bitcoin-trader.biz didn't do any trading and didn't earn any money, it was a ponzi scam from day 1. It is very unlikely that you can consistently earn anywhere near ~1%/day trading bitcoins using arbitrage like methods.
