I had the same yesterday, block never came to my wallet
Means it was an orphan. In the debug window type listtransactions and you'll see it. It looks like the orphan rate is quite high for nexus How can one minimize the orphan rate?

Probably around 30 sat - just pulled that out of your ass?
Difficulty has nothing to do with the price, just saying. Demand does.
Demand does, and so does opportunity cost. It's easy enough to calculate expected returns from mining this coin vs mining another cryptonight coin (or another algo) and comparing expected BTC yield (or fiat or whatever). Of course, you'd also need to factor in expected growth/appreciation vs other coins. Price isn't only a factor of demand, but also supply, and miners who were here from day one may (or may not) be inclined to sell at (or below or above) their opportunity cost of other coins. Exactly. You dont know the demand, and also you dont know how many of the miners will hold. Impossible to tell the price in the short term. Look at signatum for example, insanely high emission for miners and still the price rocketed as hell. It was making more than 50 USD/ per nvidia card in the first days. I have mined many coins that were making insanely high profits per card for extended periods (30+USD) - my opportunity costs were almost negligible and the price was still high. The concept of opoprtunity cost does not apply here. Its more on what price level are miners willing to sell / how much they see in the value of the project. Daily emission is much more important factor when trying to value the coin.

WTS 40k for 300sats each. PM me.
Will sell 100K coins for 100 sats each. PM me. LOL, the price will be low. if the miner sell large of number coin. Yes, people are asking crazy prices, it will probably be around 30 sat at the start if difficulty stays the same. No MNs or any other reason for miners to hold it. Probably around 30 sat - just pulled that out of your ass? Difficulty has nothing to do with the price, just saying. Demand does.

Sometimes i find a block in miner, but nothing shows in wallet? is this normal?

Since the difficulty bomb affects ALL miners pretty much equally, it's not going to have ANY noticeable effect on Ethereum profitability. It's a really stupid concept and a total waste of time - whoever came up with the idea was NOT THINKING.
The Ethereum "reduce reward per block" is what's going to hammer profitability, though it seems to be designed to be a gradual thing.
ZCash IS as profitable as ETH - on SOME cards, particularly the higher-end Nvidia 1080 and 1080 ti where it is MORE profitable (it's been ballpark even with ETH on the 1070 most of the last couple months). It's generally lower on most current AMD cards, but AMD is NOT ALL THAT MINERS USE this time around (unlike Litecoin/X11 craze days where AMD had a clear advantage at the time) and again it's been CLOSE.
Given how the ETH folks are implimenting things, I don't really see a "sudden" fallout for a while but I do see a gradual move as the profitability gradually drops for the next few months.
A big price move would negate that estimate however....
What the? You are seeing the ice age already for these two months and you can see the effects and you are still saying that it has no impact on profitability? I dont even know what to say, are you blind or totally ignorant? What you are saying is of course totally wrong. The difficulty risens and therefore miners cannot find blocks as fast as they could. So in reality this prolongs the Block Time and therefore reducing ALL MINERS PROFITABILITY. So ice age, rising diff for all = higher block time ( from 15 to 24 sec) = totally shitty profits for everyone. The reduced block reward to 3 will have absolutely no impact because the block time will revert back to 15 sec. So those two effects will cancel out. You really really think that vitalik and other eth devs are so stupid?

Is it normal than in monero mining, the power use of my 1070 and 1070 is only ~50 % ?
And, the hashrate of my 1080ti is almost the same than my 1070 ? oO
Yes that is compleltely normal. Cryptonight has very low power usage due to the fact that it is mostly memory based algo. That is also the reason why 1080 and 1080ti sux at ti, because of DDR5X.

when this coin will be on exchange? i think it's mature enough to be listed already, and i would advise to choose cryptopia over coinexchange for the first exchange, cryptopia is often the best first choice with very good volume
Yes I agree, cryptopia is a very good exchange for starting coins.

These are very wild estimates The opportunity cost of mining 1 INT with a 1070 at the moment (diff 67M, reward 1882, $0.10/kWh) is 28 sat compared to ETH/SC dual mining. You can earn 53900 sat worth of ETH/SC per day or you can mine 1720 INT. 53900/1720 = 31 sat less electricity cost around 10% (market price does not have electricity cost) => 28 sat. If it were to trade today I think the starting range would be 25-100 sat. Now, the end goal is a project comparable to SIA project. The total market for VPN is similar to storage ($50B), and the competition from other vpn coins seems similar to competition among file storage coins. If the devs deliver a quality product this may result in 4000-5000 sat range per INT ($0.20) about 2 years from now if we translate SC price to INT. The market cap for all 1B coins would be $200M, same as SC market cap. Obviously not all coins will be minted but most of them in the next 2-3 years. Incidentally the core team will hold 100M coins worth $20M. From my point of view it looks like a worthy goal to keep going and not dumping on the market, so I am glad they reserved a lot of coins. They cannot dump it without crashing the market because the emission is slow enough to keep their share being sizable for a long time. However 2-3 years from now the market will grow and with a quality product they may be sitting on a small fortune that can be redeemed. Heh this is not how supply and demand works at all. You cannot estimate the price based on the mining opportunity cost, that just doesnt make any sense at all. Not to mention you forget to value the risk involved and the GPU and other costs as well. There are many methods of valuation an asset in finance and the only one that can be used in crypto is by comparing it to other similar assets that is already priced. This project is decent and can be compared to other decent projects in crypto ( with the account to inflation of course). Selling it at 100 sat is severely undervaluing it and really a stupid idea if you ask me. I dont think people will dump it on this price level. If they dont, the price will inrease since the supply will be low.

Anyone selling this coin?
If so whats the asked price?
I think it starts at 1000 sts. any idea else, guys? Yes i will sell at 1000 sats as well. I think that is reasonable for this coin.

There is a lot of text, but the main information is missing. What is it for? Why this coin? Why should I even mine it or invest in it?

I don't waste time on shitcoins
Same as cachecoin, all all the world crazy for sig, and in a week mining, I manage to win more than 10000 usd, I think your answer is a bit rude well the wallet is full of viruses, worms and others so i think many people got discouraged because they actually like their pcs

Depending on the date of shipment I would be interested in 1 - 4.

WARNING!!! Guys, wallet seems full of TROJAN's and other kind of viruses. This is not fake stuff, just look at the virus total scan!
Many of the times, antiviruses give false positives. I do not know why in this page, Quickheal is showing the wallet file as virus, but I am using Quickheal and it shows no viruses at all. Not false positive, did you even look at the virustotal link?

Why is the Block Reward only 30 SIGC? For SIGT it was 2500 from the beginning.

I would be interested in one or two.

You can make ROI on this card using it as a stoove, cooking breakfast eggs etc. So i think it still can be a smart buy.
|
|

It is not. Nvidia cards are actually stronger on the algo.
The only reason that AMD has better hash/price ratio is because dagger algo uses a lot of memory and not that much core. Nvidia or AMD actually do not produce their own memory, only the GPU chips. That is the reason that AMD is not total shit on this algo.
Also that you can edit memory timings in bios helps as well.

Will there ever be an exchange for this coin?

Why even bother? This is not profitable to mine at all with nvidia.
