1601  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: May 08, 2023, 10:58:50 AM
I'd say that this still qualifies as gambling. You may not be staking money in the process but you're still playing with your chances anyway. That is considered gambling even if nothing is at stake. You still poured your time and effort researching who's going to be the top scorers and all those stats. There is also the possibility of a win, so if that's not gambling to you then I don't know what it.

Free bets are also considered gambling. You didn't stake anything in this instance, so what differentiates it from free bets?

In my opinion, it's not gambling if you don't stake something valuable, something like money or what you can sell for money. Time is a valuable thing, no doubt about that. But if we go fishing, risking to lose our time and get nothing in return, we don't call it gambling, do we? No one does.

The example in the OP is gambling related, but we shouldn't call it gambling if nothing is at stake, I think.

~ Also, Nikki Haley seems to continue pushing the narrative that Biden is too old and he is supposed to get his cognitive skill tested, while she does not stand a chance.  Roll Eyes

Yes, she doesn't. Desantis, maybe, but not Nikki Haley. I think no one is buying her "Biden is likely to die within five years" narrative. Biden is 80 years old, and look how many people of this age are living today:

More than 147 million! And not all of them have access to the high-level medical care as Biden has. Far from it. Why should he die then? As of her chances to be the next president, I think Tucker Carlson has more chances than she, but, of course, I wouldn't bet on him either.
1603  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: May 08, 2023, 09:37:01 AM
Yes, I too think that when people start new businesses apart from the existing ones, they contribute to the growth of the economy, and for that we should be thankful to them. Not everyone has the ability to open a business of their own. And many others, those who have the funds, don't want to do it because it's too risky. So, although I don't have a business of my own myself, I admire those people who do. Economic growth is a necessity, and people who contribute to it deserve respect.
Having my own business without relying on jobs paid by the government is much better in my opinion. I agree that it can contribute to the economic growth of a country, but in some countries jobs provided by the government are the main target for graduates. But of course starting a business is always faced with the risk of failure which is likely to be the main thought of graduates so they tend to want to work in jobs provided by the government.

Regarding business development, it is possible for businessmen who have previously been successful with their old businesses. They do so easily because they have capital, while they may not be very influential if the new business in the end fail. Being the boss of your own business is far better than being dependent on the government, but not everyone has that for many reasons.

Yes, this "being your own boss" mantra, I hear it all the time. And after witnessing many of failed attempts I feel like I should be warning people about possible negative consequences. People that open their own business and fail talk like "Why did I do this? When I was working for a firm, I could afford not thinking about my work during holidays. I had no debts. Only now I understand how happy I was."

We are all dependent on many things anyway. It's only illusion that opening a business of your own make you independent.

You should be happy that this time you got the maximum win, but in the future you should bet more optimally.

Thanks for the explanation, @KTChampions!

From now on I'm betting with 2.00+ odds if I win a freebet again. Although I personally think that the "average" comes in play only when many thousands of bets are made, I don't see the reason for not betting in a more favourable way than I was doing it before. It simply cannot do any harm, right? Smiley

I think 20-30 bets will be enough to feel the difference in the distance, but you are right, the distance is an important parameter and if you win free bets not so often, then it is better to play more reliably.
~

I'm not winning them that often lately, but who is? However much we win, we want more, right? Smiley

So, your advice is to not bet with 2.00+ odds, or you just mean I shouldn't bet with 100.00? What do you mean by "more reliably"? Was this bet of mine

not that wrong in your current opinion? Smiley

I'm determined to bet with 2.00+ odds if I win a freebet again. At least several times I want to try to follow your previous advice, because I like the logic behind it. But still it's interesting what do you think now?
1605  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: May 07, 2023, 11:41:42 AM
because it is better to keep it in the bank so that it somehow has an interest profit even if you don't move it.

Banks are not really good due to inflation. Crypto well yes one could use a decent coin or 2 but that is also a risk.
Before the economy went haywire people put money in cars, houses, and some properties.
Still the habit of saving is important to dominate. I know a buńch of people who are unable to save.

They seem to hate value. All money they get they spend immediately

I wouldn't blame them if they were people of low income. In fact, I was in their place for quite some time in the past: when if you manage to earn some money you spend it right away, mostly on food for you and your kids. But even if have some spare money in the end of the month, and you are student like the OP here, I wouldn't recommend saving, or investing in anything besides your education. Your knowledge will bring you not only money in the future, but also a better idea of what to do with the money you have.

You're right, and for this reason I think you should have guidelines such as:

We need you to create Snoop Dogg and Roobet art so we can put it in the casino and have to be art more closely with art similar to the games that are in the Roobet, so people with these guidelines will already know that they have to create a Snoop design Dogg associated with Roobet, so people would have to think about whether they would put Snoop Dogg along with Mr. Roo or would put the Snoop Dogg playing some roobet game

And this would also make it easier for judges to evaluate which work of art would be in conditions of being number 1 and being used in the Roobet Casino, for example:

It is a very beautiful art that was very useful to the casino, if each time the casino needed something similar then would need to do an art contest and the best art would be used in the casino, this would be a good way to value many Forum artists, I know that many people like to receive money for their work, but they should also look at how good it would be to see their arts being placed at Casino Roobet
~

I think it is a dream of any artist that his/her work was appreciated to the extent that it was placed on the official site of of such a big casino as Roobet. Although it is hard to compete with those professionals that create images for the casino, I hope one day someone from our forum will create an artwork of the level of that you presented as an example. It is is a very beautiful art indeed.

it's true and i experienced it though not with savings for 2 years. laugh out loud
if saving is meant like that in my opinion it is very bad and even worse things will be experienced when our hearts are not good and many things happen that are out of our control.
saving is not setting aside money every month but saving after all needs and desires are met and adding income every month to be able to set aside or save.
and also saving is not holding back to meet a need or desire for oneself, that is stingy.

Idk Smiley , I think even billionaires never think that all their needs and desires are met. But if it's like this in your case, I can only say, good for you! I and other people should make an example of you. Usually people want to spend more and more, and their wages are not keeping up with their "needs". I put that word in quotes because more often than not they might live perfectly without all those things they think they can't live without.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: May 07, 2023, 08:44:58 AM
Does anyone mention here that American Credit Default Swaps are skyrocketing? In country without reserve currency thay would pretty much mean bankruptcy. But US Dollar is, luckily, reserve currency so USA can be indebted nearly limitless. But people should still put it into consideration. Republicans are already planning to increase debt ceiling. USA should start cuts in spending even though it's world leader economy. Or its status can be challenged. In current atmosphere I would say, democrats may not win.

Joe Biden is still the favourite candidate among gamblers

So, if you think Democrats have no chance, you probably should bet on Trump or Desantis, or both, right now. When many will start thinking like you do, the odds for Republican candidates will drop significantly. I personally think Joe Biden will be the next President, only to me it's not that attractive to bet with 2.35 odds.
I honestly just came across this topic right now, are you guys saying that its possible to gamble on the next presidential election? This is totally crazy, I was thinking that who would do this on their gambling platform because it doesn't happen from time to time like sport matches and others, this is unexpected and I am so into this, can you share the name of this casino or platform? I will like to check things out and if it's good enough I won't mind taking some bet and that's on Joe, though I like Trump much more than Joe but I have a feeling that Joe will be the winner.

Yes, same as you could bet on Oscars long before there were nominations even, you can bet on 2024 USA elections now.

I think there are many sports betting platforms where you can do it, but I will give you links to those where I make my bets.

On FortuneJack:

you can click on "Culture" here

and you'll get this

where you can bet on the Republican Presidential Nominee.

On Stake:

just click on the image below

On Sportsbet.io:

I think the above mentioned sites will add more options in the future, but what they already have introduced is worth looking at.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: May 07, 2023, 07:38:35 AM
From what I know, AI could beat good poker players long before ChatGPT was introduced. But it was able to start beating human players only after playing many games with them, particular players, at the same table. There's no universal formula for that. Imo, if you analyze the moves of great poker players and play accordingly, you'll do maybe a bit better than poker bots, but still not that good to be winning most of the time. Winning poker strategies change with time, and those guys best in the field change their style too. Maybe one day AI will be able to do that too, but at the moment it is not superior to good human players.
1610  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: May 06, 2023, 04:33:38 PM
The temptation to spend money nowadays is very easy, when we leave the house the temptation to shop or buy is very strong, malls are made even better and more attractive with very beautiful sellers, automotive or apartment marketing is very creative because they use beautiful women which makes it difficult for men to refuse, the temptation that often makes our finances mess up.
Well I can't deny this one. this is what most people are the biggest obstacle to. i.e. they even spend money on things they didn't plan for before. because the strong temptation of various products or anything today always makes us interested (has high attractiveness). And some people find it hard to avoid it. So often our financial planning becomes irregular. And to overcome that I think it's about a strong commitment that we have to instill in ourselves. having clear goals to achieve might help us stay focused and not be tempted by other things we encounter along the way.

Indeed, we should concentrate on our goal. Buying anything you want right now and achieving financial freedom in the near future are two very different things, things things that are mutually exclusive, I would say. Expensive things that are proposed to you by some "beautiful sellers" shouldn't be a temptation for you at all. All your expenses should revolve around your main goal - achieving your financial freedom. Without this set of mind you will hardly achieve it.

Ah, amazing had nice winning in the last betting round on Bitcoin prices. Now I wish I had enjoyed the time weight multiplier and had bet way at the start of the month. This is why I am opening up the conversation on the first day of this month and want to know whose standing where for this month's betting on Bitcoin.

Considering the last month's entire average, the lowest bitcoin went was around $27,070 while it was able to reach the highest peak mark of $ 31,005 that was definitely an amazing price hike and we were literally thrown away into another range quickly.

There was mostly negative news about the USA and its regulatory bodies getting stricter on it and yet it hyped a little but sooner went down. So there is that.

Now with the new month gearing up and news still remaining on the same end, I feel like we are gonna stay in the range of 28-29K. Might have some pumps on the way but seems impossible to cross it. The system is also showing low odds on that range thus a higher chance of the same.

Whats your pick anyways?

I hope for BTC going over $40k mark soon, but, let's be realistic, it will hardly happen as soon as on the 31st of May 2023.

So, I bet on this range, "$30,001 - $32,500":

Now it has pretty good outcome odds,  4.04, and the current Time Weight Multiplier, 56.357x, will balance the inevitable decline to around 2.5-2.8 in the future.

~snip~
Well, it should be like this, don't you think? Bonuses are there to make people "taste" the game, and then, if they like it, they must deposit to play more. Although, it's not exactly like that. Firstly, you can play in demo mode for free as much as you want. Secondly, there are exceptions. I myself won a withdrawable amount couple of times on various sites, starting with just bonus money.

Yeah, a bonus is simply to give a bit of a boost to a player.

If it was something were people actually could withdraw the whole amount without playing and putting some money in, then a lot of people would simply take the money out, making it not work for the casino at all.

The thing is that if people can do it, they will do it.

They will. Not all of them, but might be enough for a casino to go bankrupt. The algorithm for the whole process of a bonus program should be something that allows some gamblers to win big and withdraw, to spread the news, and, on the other hand, something that doesn't make the company to go over their promotional budget. It's good if the company is big enough to allow some unexpected expenses, but for a small company it can be a challenge.
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losses In Gambling That Still Haunts You Until This Day on: May 06, 2023, 11:55:02 AM
I can't remember the specific date but I could remember it was on a Sunday after I have attended morning mass. I had the money that someone gave me to give to a customer of mine about $300. My friends came around and as usual, we went to the casino to have fun. The $40 that I budgeted to gamble with was exhausted and I decided to use $20 from the $300 with me,since I will be able to replace it. To my poor understanding on gambling after I lost that,I allowed my emotion to control me and I decided to stake to win back my loss. This why how chasing my loss drained all the $300 that was for someone. It was a bad experience for me and I learnt a hard lesson from it.

Man, if you've learned your lesson from it, and you will never do something like this in your life, that was a cheap lesson, I'd say, and you must be happy about it. A $300 debt is not something that can ruin your life, isn't it. But now you know that you shouldn't risk the money that don't belong to you. This knowledge may save you from much bigger troubles in the future, and not necessarily connected to gambling either. It's great that such a good lesson cost you that little.
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: May 06, 2023, 11:24:44 AM
I want to say that in my opinion, it doesn't matter whether you're quickly getting attached to things or not ... It's really hard to tell. What matters is your monthly income, and that's what you can easily tell by looking at your paycheck. If it's too low, like less than $400 per month(or, it can be $1,000 per month in some places. It depends on where you live.), you shouldn't gamble at all, period. No excuses. If you want to make additional money through gambling, then you need to see a doctor, a good professional who is able to explain to you have much more chances to make additional money elsewhere rather than through gambling.
I think a sensible person would simply not do that since they should definitely have an idea that they can't actually gamble if they have a limited income that doesn't even allow them to have any savings and if they have any savings from the salary, they can't gamble and it's a sensible decision to save the money instead of gambling them away.

If someone is a responsible gambler, not addicted to it, and has an income that allows them to have some savings and still have some money to spare, they can use that to gamble and have some fun but they shouldn't aim to earn money with it, of course.

To people with low income, I wouldn't advise gambling anyway, even with their spare money. The thing is, there are so many different things to entertain yourself with apart gambling, when you have low income. You can go to a good restaurant, go to see a movie, buy yourself an expensive bottle of beer, some expensive food etc. Plenty of things. For the people with high income all those things are boring, they do it every day. You won't surprise them with a lump of expensive cheese. So, they need some new treats, and gambling can be one of them.

Again, I think poor people shouldn't be gambling at all.
1616  Economy / Gambling / Re: Land base slot vs Online slot RTP on: May 06, 2023, 10:48:04 AM
~
Conclusion: Land based slot is only good to play if you only want to become entertained since their RTP and max payout is ridiculous. Online slot on the other hand offers high return since they have lesser operating cost and high payout is there main attraction. People should stop hitting the land based casino if there main purpose is hitting a jackpot because it’s really not worth it. Land base slot has a low jackpot prize and you need to bet high amount in able to have a chance to get it while online slot can give you the chance to hit that kind of jackpot with lower bet amount.

Reference:

I think all slots, online and land based ones, should only be used for entertainment purposes. Even though the RTP of online slots is more favourable for us gamblers, hitting the jackpot remains very unlikely, and we shouldn't count on it, we shouldn't think "I have more chances here, so I'll play here." Play wherever you like, where it's more entertaining for you, and it can be land based slots for some people, although I personally prefer online slots.

Overall, great observation, @Coin_trader. +1

do you think, this is possible or they are already doing it? popular game providers like evolution, pragmatic, etc.

Reputable game providers will never do things like that, that's what I'm sure of. Morals aside, they are making good money without cheating anyone, Why risk ruining their reputation?
indeed , that is why I believe that if there will be a casino site that will act like this are those desperately wanted to earn or those Fly By Night casino in which after gathering depositors and players? then they will gone like a wind.

Quote
Many gamblers "feel" that they are cheated by casinos, and so when there's a demand for this kind of info, there's going to be a supply.
I have experience something similar but that is when i was still new and know nothing from how scammers and legit casino operates.

There are many of online casinos cheating their customers, no doubt about that. But saying "we are showing ... exactly what's happening with online roulette", like this guy in the video, without adding "on some sites" or something like that,  makes this video looking more like a conspiracy theorists' stuff. I wasn't surprised by seeing this comment below the video
if this is true , then that guy should show which casino and he must stand with his accusation .

WTF! Congratulation @Betwrong! This is so huge win. Getting above x500 is my dream but your screenshot above motivated me to increase my target multiplier. I have some bad games lately but I already starting to recover. In fact, I did try to play again on slots with low-key play after seeing this post of yours. I manage to land some juicy wins that were a little bit higher than my previous win. I'm already happy about slowly getting profit and increased multiplier. I wish that I can land one of that enormous multipliers as you have.

Good luck to us!

When will Bitcasino add more exclusive games?

Thank you for the congratulations, @AbuBhakar! It's double nice, when you win something good, also to be sincerely congratulated on that. Smiley Thanks to this you can see that people are not jealous of you, they don't think you won something that could be won by them, but, on the contrary, seeing your win they become confident that they can win big too. They know there are enough prizes for everyone, and everyone can be a winner one day. That's how it should be in a rightly organized community: everyone is a winner in his/her due time.

I wish you, @AbuBhakar, to win 1,000x+ one day and share it with us here.
