1602  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: NEW: Hashnest PACMiC V3 - 0.666 BTC/THS on: December 01, 2015, 02:42:12 PM
20,000 Pacmic V4 for sale on october 02.
Today, december 1rst, 2 months later, less than 4,500 Pacmic V4 are sold.

Does Bitmain intend to do something ?

If not, the 20,000 Pacmic V4 will be sold in 11 months and no hope to see a better Pacmic V5 before september 2016, after the btc halving...

 Embarrassed  Cry  Sad
I don't think they will do anything about it, as PACMiC V3 was most likely to expand production on the S7.  Now that they have seemingly replaced most of the last generation hardware with S5, and S7 they may not need the loaned coins from a V4 or V5.

I was really hoping V4 was a better offer then it is, but it looks like all we will get.

Agreed, it isn't necessarily a bad offer either, it just wasn't as good as V3.

When btc was around $300 the s7 maintance was 24% now its $360~ and its just dropped to 22%?!? btw if price go down to $250 its goes up to 30-35-40%

That is because difficulty also plays a part in the calculation, so the bitcoin price was $300 but difficulty was lower, so maintenance was lower.
1604  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 2012 5 BTC Casascius Coin (repackaged, slabbed, loadable) on: December 01, 2015, 06:29:56 AM
The last one of these coins was never purchased...  Still for sale at 0.25 BTC if anyone is interested.

Are there any nasty fans seats associated with the address?  Is it possible to get some added with the purchase?

Also, if I choose not to fund the coin now, can I always fund it later or have you fund it later if I give the coins?

There are no seats associated with the address.  You could open an account and purchase seats that you direct at the address if you wanted.

You don't ever have to fund the coin, or you can fund it at anytime.

Thanks Og, I will decide tomorrow on this one.  Appreciate the information, have a good evening.

Hey all, can anyone confirm what the withdrawal fees are here? Based on what I was reading on the site, it looks like there aren't any, but someone had claimed he withdrew x amount and a fee was deducted from that when it was sent and it screwed things up since it offset the exact amount he was trying to send.

I have withdrawn from them many times and have never been charged a withdrawal fee.
1608  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have PayPal Need BTC on: November 30, 2015, 05:43:08 AM
A warning to anyone thinking about doing this deal.  This is a brand new member asking for a trade using a reversible payment method.  If you send bitcoin, there is an extremely likely chance that the paypal will be reversed.  Sending first or using escrow will not protect you from losing your money as chargebacks can happen months down the road.

I would warn anyone against doing this deal.

I will like to understand. 20 min ago 5 post of mine have been falg and deleted. I always make sure that I do not spam and write some usefull post. I will like to understand why all my post are getting deleted?
Any explanation ? Thanks you

I only had 1, but same thing for me.  It was from a very long time ago too on a thread from Bitmain where I was helping someone with a warranty issue.  Wasn't even off topic and the advice was helpful.  Don't really understand.

Your judgment couldnt be more then wrong but everyone has there own opinion thanks you for yours.

Actually I am correct, Venmo can be reversed very easily, your a brand new account, chances are extremely high this is a scam attempt.

Beware all, this site is a scam!  They take you to webpages that are not the real thing.  The first offer is for the SP50 from Spondoolies, but it takes you to sqondoolies.

BIG SCAM, DO NOT SEND ANYTHING HERE.

EDIT: Please stop advertising for them and delete anything you have tweeted for them.
1613  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Trying to buy with venmo on: November 27, 2015, 06:58:23 PM
Beware, Venmo is a reversible payment method.  Escrow will not protect you as a charge back can still happen after the bitcoin are released.  I have heard that it is even easier to reverse payments in Venmo than it is in Paypal.

New user wanting to transact with a reversible method, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH, you will get scammed.
1614  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 27, 2015, 06:55:43 PM
Good call, some of those are really close to the real thing and could trick someone.  I am sad to admit that this time last year I fell for a scam where someone impersonated Bitmaintech and I ordered a C1 that obviously never arrived.  Glad there are others out there who help spot this stuff and report it to the masses.

Good Job and Thank You
1615  Economy / Economics / Re: What its take so you will invest your bitcoin/money in my farm on: November 27, 2015, 04:26:49 PM
I don't understand at all what your asking for. It sounds like you want people to invest into mining equipment that you will host, but then you post a link to a website that has nothing to do with bitcoin.

Perhaps step 1 will be to think about what you want to offer and write up a clear and concise business plan.
1616  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: November 26, 2015, 12:30:39 AM
I am not sure these analysis can be applied for hashnest cloud mining.

Their market is even more volatile then bitcoin.

While the bitcoin price keeps on rising, the value of hashnest cloud mining shares are getting decimated.

This may pull back some in the next 11 days but then again it could very well end up even higher..

Estimated Next Difficulty:   81,490,860,319 (+12.06%)
Adjust time:   After 1731 Blocks, About 11.4 days

The last 3 days the estimate has been going up.  It started around 10% and has grown by 20% since then.  I would expect it to continue up a few more points before leveling off or pulling back a bit.

This is insane though, think about how much money into mining equipment there has to be to grow by 12%...

At the current network hashrate, roughly 541,240,606 GH/s, that equates to optimally a little over 111,360 S7's.  To grow by 10% from here, that is 11,000 S7's turned on.  Retailing at $1850 like they are on Hashnest, that is $20,350,000 in a 2 week period being put into mining equipment.  Of course these are just rough numbers, but its funny.  The price of bitcoin took about a 25% jump in the last month, and now we are seeing the hashrate follow suit.  Its very cause of effect oriented.

1618  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinSports.com Betcoin.ag-LIVE-Football Soccer eSports-#1 Casino Poker Sports on: November 25, 2015, 05:53:59 AM
Are the live odds only available during quarters or halve breaks? I always try to bet during the middle of a game and it shows the odds, but when I click on it the bet doesn't show up on my bet slip. Is this normal or because I'm on my phone or something?

What sport / league DebitMe?  We are just seeing your question and certainly want to respond to this.  All options should be available barring odds changes, timing updates, etc.  Want to have a look at your specific case.

It was when I was trying to bet Football at the NFL level.  Although I had it happen during the World Series also.  I will test it with College Basketball when I get a chance.  Yea, it's really weird.  The bets are there, but I can't click on them, and they seem really really slow to update also.  Not quite sure where the problem lies.

Ok what if I can make 100k computers mine? Isit worted and they mining by command :£)

No, you still really won't make anything with 100k computers (although you need to specify the specs of them to get a better answer, how fast can they mine, etc...).  Plus the electricity costs to run that will be astronomical, not to mention dissipating the heat from that many computers would be next to impossible.
1620  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [1 BTC Bounty] Explain Bitcoin in one Sentence on: November 24, 2015, 03:59:32 PM
Bitcoin in one sentence...is hard since it really depends on who one is talking too and their level of understanding of banking/global currency/technology.  But I'll give it a go.

Bitcoin is a digital currency that connects people from every culture, race, ethnicity, and religion together, and allows them to interact over a common medium for the common purpose of transacting business.
