1601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Anonymous Enough For You? on: June 23, 2016, 05:04:53 PM
yes bitcoin is anonymous enough for me.

because i am not doing anything illegal and have no plan on doing such things. and also my bitcoin address is not linked to my identity so i am in fact anonymous! so nobody on the internet can not find me.
1602  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: June 23, 2016, 05:00:09 PM
I hope so. I'm not too excited about the halving because that's something almost everyone already know and it's been also reflected on the price, but well, maybe it could pump it a little bit. I want to see what happen with brexit, new implementation of CSV, that maybe could help to raise the price, but as always... who knows?  Roll Eyes

halving indeed already often do and everyone knew that the effect of halving the effect is indeed very big enough in price bitcoin. But yes indeed how such applies only in some time alone and can't last much longer. But we don't have to worry about in the future certainly there are better ways in how to raise the price of BTC

we have to wait for a while to see the real effects of the halving on bitcoin. it takes a while for halving to happen then there will be a period like about 1 month to really see what effects can halving have on bitcoin when the supply growth was slowed down.

yes I think the effect of halving will not happen immediately, it may take several months. but was previously halving effect has been felt before halving happen, but the current price dropped considerably, and after that I felt it difficult to see what will happen next. whereas if no decline is high, I think we can reach $800-900 before halving

That seems to be difficult now and I will be much satisfied even if I see the price of $700 at halving, that is the price I have set in my mind to sell my coins, I missed the opportunity to sell last week.

well last week was just a hype bubble, so the rise was artificial.

we keep hearin about halving and supply & demand rule which will lead to price rise because of halving but we also forget that halving should happen before the supply changes.
1603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: June 23, 2016, 04:56:29 PM
Yes ofcourse, holding bitcoin in a long time is profitable since the value of bitcoin is go high, but you need to set a time frame how long you can hold your bitcoin, base on price or it will only base on years.

My holding time frame is 10 to 20 years, if I do not need to use it. I belive the price will rise a lot in the future.

it is a good idea to hold bitcoin for a long time but i think 10 to 20 years is a little too long time to hold bitcoin.

bitcoin should really reach that high price sooner than 10 years and if it can't get there the price will not rise in 20 years either.
1604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: June 23, 2016, 04:53:05 PM
I acted like this:
Collected Satoshi from faucets, and gained a small amount. Next, I withdrawal that amount on the stock exchange. At the stock exchange, I chose the most active on the coin auctions, and small-cap, low capitalization is much easier to pump. Watched schedule, check with a reversal candlestick models, looked at the order book. And make purchases. And so gradually I increased my amount.

Hey guys, which website do you recommend to trade altcoins? (beginner)

I think Yobit is best for beginners.

but i think i have to disagree with your last comment.
yobit is not a good place to trade for anybody newbie or advanced. because they don't have a decent volume on most of the coins and if you start there and encounter a problem then you will have a bad experiece with exchanges and support.
1605  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: June 23, 2016, 04:49:45 PM
It was my little dream to own 21 BTC and today i achieved it after hard work of so long time. Now i want to make my hard work pay me.I mean,i want that these bitcoins work for me someway and grow.Is there bitcoin bank that pays interest? What will you do with 21 BTC? How will you spend it? How will you grow it? Share anything you want that may help me to decide what should i do. Smiley

i think reaching such a big amount is the dream of all of the bitcoin users. especially because 21 bitcoin is somewhat important number.

if i had 21 bitcoin i would celebrate first then i would start a business of my own with that much money.
1606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin most important to you? on: June 23, 2016, 04:47:02 PM
i use bitcoin mostly as an investment with a good profit and most of my coins are being held for long term. and the amount of bitcoin that i spend is so much less than the amount of money that i spend so i can't really say i use bitcoin to buy things yet

1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is bitcoin gambling really accepted in China ? on: June 19, 2016, 01:40:08 PM
The last few weeks we have seen a lot of bitcoin volume in the market and its coming from China ('s economy problems Tongue) . So wouldnt it be a good idea for gambling sites to start providing the services to Chinas huge market also  ? I mean i dont really know any BTC casino doing it in china, only a few of them have it chinese-translated. Is it legal to gamble with bitcoin in china?

They've got a crazy firewall blocking out sites. I'm not a teach wizard though so I'm unsure if Tor or certain VPN's can find a way around this.

People here will make up crap & guess but only Chinese bitcoin users would really know.
i hve some friends from china who personally doing gambling in bitcoin currency. they says that alot of people are doing it here in the same way.

yeah it is like this everywhere in the world.
there are many other countries that have laws against gambling and there are a couple of countries that even have laws against bitcoin.
but none of these matter since bitcoin is anonymous and anybody who wishes can use it as easy as possible.
1609  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is Bitcoins going to die? on: June 19, 2016, 01:36:59 PM
bitcoin will never die, even if people stop using it and price goes down (which is not so possible itself) then there is still usage for bitcoin you can transfer money with bitcoin even if it is worth $1 so there always is going to be someone who can use it and it is opensourse so it can be changed to adapt.
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: June 19, 2016, 01:32:32 PM
losing in gambling is the worst experience of all times and there is no money loss that hurts more than losing in gambling.

it is hard becasue when you lose money in gambling it is ALL gone, it is not like investing that you lose a part of it, here you will lose ALL that you put in and there is nothing you can do about it. not before and not after it happens.
1611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There is no life in Gambling can you accept this....?? on: June 19, 2016, 01:28:01 PM
indeed. there is nol ife in gambling.

but this is only true if you are gambling out of control or in other words it is only true if you are a gambling addict.

so in case you are only gambling for fun and with total control over yourself then i guesss it is mroe than ok to gamble.
1612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 19, 2016, 01:24:38 PM
First they need to know where bitcoins came from and when the bitcoin started who invented it because they don't understand what is bitcoin you need to teach them a basic about bitcoin first you need to explain what is bitcoin and what they can do about bitcoin you can refer your friend in to this site it helps alot for a newbie like him google can help him too just don't afraid asking google some questions and then set up them a wallet where can they receive and send a payment Smiley
yes i agree with you. you have given such a perfect explanation. i think we can also show him our own progress in bitcoin forum.  we should tell about the profit we are making from a signature campaign.

that's not such a good idea. you are practically saying when you want to introduce bitcoin to someone new you tell them about signature campaigns instead of how bitcoin works, what is a wallet, how to make cold storage , and a lot of other requried thing!!
1613  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: June 19, 2016, 01:20:32 PM
There ate only two things that i don't like in bitcoin
1) sometimes transactions take too much to be completed
2) not everyone is using it and its hard for me to buy what i want with btc

yeah i agree.
i love everything about bitcoin but this long time between blocks or the time that takes my transactions to get a confirmation even with decent amount of fee is a little annoying.
1614  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: June 19, 2016, 01:16:50 PM
Hello btc users! Just interested - how do you spend your BTC bitcoins?
Buy something, trading, maybe just collect and waiting for good price? Smiley

i am doing almost all of the above Smiley
i do some altcoin trading for earning some profit on my bitcoin, and i also do some signature campaign for earning stable little amount of bitcoin and i used to do some faucet but i gave it up and all of the bitcoin ends up in cold storage to store for the future rises.
1615  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't worry - this is neither a crash nor a turning point ... on: June 18, 2016, 02:09:21 PM
... Bitcoin just takes a run-up to pass the $1000

This could already happen during this weekend jump.

So relax, get some popcorn and beer and enjoy the ride ...
It's just a little pit stop for the rally car to stop and fuel up before the next few laps and big push to go into new territory. We're holding strong at basically all levels that we decide to take a rest at so this is far from over. Just a quick break and then we'll be off to the races.

yeah, i like your simulation. this is the best comparisson that you could have made for bitcoin and the rise that we are seeing right now.
the whales are accumulating more bitcoin in this temporary dip for a while and then they are going to push the price to the moon again.
1616  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: June 18, 2016, 02:03:21 PM
i believe in bitcoin and its future strongly.
but also even if i didn't believe in bitcoin and the future of bitcoin or had any doubts i do believe in it now that i have seen my predictions come ture.

Bitcoin has a great future and the price will also be higher and till I am making good money and profits from it I will continue to believe in it.

yeah but everything is not about the bitcoin price and the profit $$$ that you can get from it.

it is also about the profit that you can get from using it as a currency for example using bitcoin to purchase things online or using services like gyft to save up a lot of money.
1617  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: June 18, 2016, 01:58:26 PM
holding gold can bring you almost nothing and the rise in gold can be small or even go down but when you buy and hold bitcoin especially if you buy bitcoin when it was very low then you could have 4 - 5 times return for your investment.
1618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Faucet is running dry on: June 18, 2016, 01:53:57 PM
Bitcoin Faucet is running dry?

Yes it is, why? maybe be it is because very time consuming by getting the faucets.
and then once you get your the reward its just a small amount of satoshi.
but for a beginner it will be a nice start up for them to get Bitcoins for free. Smiley

I think bitcoin faucets are running dry because of both type of peoples.
The Users of faucets and the owners of faucets too.
nowadays faucets have no any worth and using them is completely waste of time. and same faucets owners can't able to run faucets properly and give enough reward since google adsense blocking all faucets ads.
this is the big reason why faucets are running dry.

Are you saying Goggle are blocking adsense adverts advertising Faucets or the adverts on the Faucet sites themselves? If so, why. I thought they weren't meant to be 'evil'.

yes, the nature of a faucet is against google adsense terms of services and that is why they don't allow them to use it in the first place and then bans them if they find out.

p.s. this topic is from 2011 by the way Grin
1619  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many people here don't really care about BTC? on: June 18, 2016, 01:50:39 PM
Who here doesn't care what happens with bitcoin as long as you can use them to make money, all the other drama doesn't really matter right?
All I care about is getting that $$$$ in my hands at the end of the day, everything else is irrelevant

i think there are still a lot of people here that don't even care about bitcoin and only care about the fiat $$$ they are getting from it. this is sad but true.

they should really start opening their eyes and see the numerous benefits they can get from using bitcoin too. it is not just about the $$$ you can get and getting out fast.
1620  Economy / Speculation / Re: 0.02 BTC July 1 Prediction Competition! on: June 18, 2016, 01:47:22 PM
last time i made a prediction about the price and it was far off the mark.

this time i try my best to make a better prediction, so i say it is going to be $821.5
