just test it, removed the old drivers with DDU uninstaller in safe mode, it seems that the statements are true, the speeds are increased!

got to test it in older cards like 69xx 79xx, and also check the hashrate at the pools.

Excellent! What card you got? How are temps? Got a Kill-a-watt meter? Please do report back (better on the miner original thread though)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=658975.new#new

i do not have a watt meter, on my 6950,7950,7970 it gave me 1mh/s more in total, same temps like before.

edit:pool reports correct hash rates. Excellent job

this is my setup: 6970,2x7970,2x7950,280x toxic, 7970 club 3d  24.5mh/s in total. it was 19 mh/s before.

can you pls post the exact before/after numbers for 6950/7950/7970?
thanks mate Smiley

i thought about the fuckup during the last hardfork.

one of the problems that magnified the trouble was the fact that darkcoin.io wasnt able to keep up with the correct display of the new versions.

so...

could we turn the section of the page that says
"newest version is 9.10.x and 10.10.x blabla download here "
etc into something like a dynamic table that reads eg. a json-string

and give some members the privileges to override that json?

you know what persons i m talking about, the folks that keep the news up here around
(and, NO I DONT WANT THAT PRIVILEGE FOR MYSELF)

i think that the display of the correct version number on the "official" homepage is more important than some people understand.
even if the downloadlink is correct, the display of the download version is also very important.

can we do this?

// i m not propagating json, it could be a txt-read, or something completely different,
im just talking about reading a file wich can be edited by some trusted members quickly

i agree completelly
even now, there's "RC2" displayed (https://www.darkcoin.io/getstarted.html)

Release Candidates (v0.10.10.1)

    Windows RC2 (Darksend)
    Ubuntu GUI RC2 (Darksend)
    Ubuntu daemon RC2 (Darksend)

a bit misleading, when you're looking for an RC3 hardfork wallet...

Hey guys, was there some good news?

Or is this just darkcoin rebounding, totally normal, like it always does? lmao

thanks!

p.s. just want to point out that this is literally the third crash since the huge rise, and EVERY TIME it rebounds quickly and reasonably...

just when i wanted to buy more, the price goes up.. waiting for money transfer to exchange :|
oh well.. on the other hand i'm glad DRK is doing good and it's looking better and better by the day! (big thanks to it's developers and all who support this coin)

Hi,
first, thanks mining on a p2pool. I am the admin of the ca.p2pool.sk. As mentioned above, it takes 24h for p2pool to get to the maximum payment level. You have to mine all the time, otherwise it will decline again. p2pool is designed to make pool hopping less profitable, so miners dont jump from one coin to other. p2pool uses PPLNS system for payouts.
In case you are not 24x7 miner, a PPS or proportional centralized pool might be better for you.

Can you please write (PM / here) your Wallet address ? So I can check the graphs ?
thanks

PS: dont forget to configure a failover p2pool host too, in case your primary pool is not reachable, so you keep your "mining level".

thanks mate
PM sent Smiley

got one question..
.
.
.

Block halving happend and those dudes maybe little liar Smiley

but i've checked their addresses and they're really receiving that amount of EMC2 to their wallets.. even now, after the block halving...
so... i just don't uderstand this Huh

got one question..

i've been mining EMC2 for some time, but this is the first coin that i'm trying to mine on p2p pools.. BUT.. i'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong, or where the problem might be..

first, i've been ming on this p2p pool: http://ca.p2pool.sk:41876

my hashrate is about 2 - 2,2mh/s and i've been getting 12 - 15 EMC
but there are some miners, who get much more with hashrate that's not very different from mine...

Hashrate    DOA Hashrate    DOA %    Predicted payout
2.08 MH/s   66.88 KH/s           3.21%   42.10980274 EMC2
2.78 MH/s   87.03 KH/s           3.13%   39.52439121 EMC2
.
.

how is this possible?
ok.. i've had DOA at about 7-9%.. so i've tried to lower it.. now my DOA is about 3-5% (changed some setting in sgminer)

i'm trying another pool, but the payout is literally the same with lower DOA (i'm on this pool http://emc2.gr2pool.eu:41876)

Hashrate    DOA Hashrate    DOA %    Predicted payout
2.23MH/s   72.5kH/s           3.2%           12.40537927

has anyone any clue what's wrong with my setup, or where the problem might be?

thank you very much Smiley
1630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: April 16, 2014, 08:41:03 AM
Have a sense we are close to the bottom now, just bought some more. Stared at the lunar eclipse, felt the wind from the pole, and thought yes... It's time for Auroracoin to turn around  Cheesy

People said the same thing when the price was at 20x the current price.
Don't bet on a sinking ship.

There are a lot of people here bound and determined to go down with the ship...unable to admit being wrong. They had warnings, they chose not to listen, and they got burned...now they're hoping beyond hope that it'll "go back up." The Auroracoin story is pretty much over.

You'll be labeled as a hater and as a troll by the bagholders for this Smiley

everyone's pretty much bored with posts like this, so i'm afraid (not really Wink ), there will be no answers..

so what if anyone wants to buy and support Auroracoin? it's their choice.. only time will tell what the outcome of all this (and not just Auroracoin, but every other crypto) will be..

nobody's telling you not to buy those new shoes, shirts, electronics, etc.. because they're shitty and in the end you loose money.. want to buy them? fine.. be happy and let other's live their lives and make their own choices (be it bad or good - which is a relative thing anyway.. no one knows what's good or bad in the final outcome)
1631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: April 14, 2014, 11:28:40 AM
Well the price is cheap enough that I was able to buy 1 Auroracoin for the first time. But it seems the price just keeps going down.

partly because there's not much positive about AUR right now (that's why i think there's enough negativity/hate in this thread.. no need to spread more and feed the trolls - see discussion above).. and partly because of the bitcoin price fluctuation..
AND.. i still think the price is somehow pulled down intentionally.. i have this feeling for some time now... when you look at exchanges, there are so many "0,01" / "0,05" / "0,1" / ... AUR sells, it just doesn't make any sense to me, why is somebody selling such small amounts.. regularly.. for many days now.. even when the price is so low..

Nite69 just posted about the Android wallet on playstore.. so.. finally some positive news Smiley
1632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUR][MANDATORY UPDATE] Auroracoin - a cryptocurrency for Iceland on: April 14, 2014, 10:41:10 AM

why don't you just ignore him and stop flooding this thread?

Ignore a disease and a plague will follow. People need to know how this guys plans his schemes and avoid him at all cost.

i agree
but do you think that you'll prove your argument by repeating the same over and over again over several threads, even if you're right and the other guy's not? those who really want to know and be aware of scams/scammers, already know or they'll find out by themselves.. they know they're not playing a game and have two more lifes to lose..
those who don't know and don't want to know, well, you can't help them anyway..

this thread is already full of crap and hate, which in my opinion plays a role in the way people perceive a coin.. compare this thred to for ex. EMC2 thread and you'll see what i mean..

If you look in the aph thread , there are still people asking when the air drop will take place...
Those guys don't have a clue that the dev already dumped half of the premine on the exchangers

You really think that knowing that you should stand aside and let people buy into that coin? Knowing they will lose money?
Scam and scammers , even if they take place in aur or emc2 or noble or bc , they ruin the image of the whole crypto scene.

you can help people only to some extent.. you can't think and do things instead of them..
i don't want to rude, but there are so many stupid and lazy people, that if you're helping them, you're actually doing them a disservice.. they'll just never learn by themselves..
do you think there's not enough information about the airdrop and everything about auroracoin?
i think there is, so asking the same question a millionth time and answering it, is just flooding a thread and making it more difficult for people to really find a meaningful information..

i'm not saying - don't post warnings about scams/scammers.. no.. i'm just saying, that repeating it over and over again on multiple threads and feeding the trolls, will not prove anything more, and will not convince more people..
those who are too ignorant to learn/read will stay ignorant, no matter what you'll do..

Lol what does aura have to do with me or panda? You can't work out the maths, you have nothing to substantiate your arguments on other than the fact you are a thread hopping psychopath who tries to flame and troll coins. Your post history is a testament to that and validates that. I don't think you are interested in making any real investment in aura, I don't think you even hold aura, I don't think you have any interest in ever adding any value to any coin and my guess is that you have a relatively low net worth as far as crypto goes. Your dead to me .

False false false and false again.

And for the dead thing , there are plenty of people here who would love to see you dead Smiley

At least i haven't scammed anybody.

Prove it. Or forever be a troll

I'd rather be a troll than a scammer.

Why don't you show your face in your panda thread anymore?

And speaking about trolling your posts in the 10-5 thread are full of *** math.

In other words you are unable to substantiate the fact that you say it's false

Lol ;/

In other words  I know that even if a jury will find you guilty of fraud you're going to scream you don't have a clue about what you're accused of.

I had this fight with you over panda and I know how you kept denying everything. And when you run out of no no no it wasn't me you run out like you did before.

Already 4 people posted ... sevoque is here ... this will turn into a piece of s*** , that's proof enough.

why don't you just ignore him and stop flooding this thread?

Did the airdrop even happen? How could one go about proving the coins were dropped successfully, and specifically in Iceland? Then, what keeps one man from finding the dropped stash then hoarding all the currency for himself?

Lol.. You've been living under a rock mate?
Just look through this thread or the Auroracoin reddit section.. You'll find all your answers

Looks like the fork made the diff do down quite a bit.. look at coinwarz.com, einsteinium is first at the moment and it's mainly 'cause of the drop in diff.. lot ot people must be mining on pools that are not up to date :/

Mooncoin has a fix for the KGW exploit, it appears the Aururacoin devs need to address this issue also.

yes, it will be fixed..

Still nothing on git and no new release.

Just another saga of devs not fixing things in a timely manner.

..well if it's that easy for you, why don't you help balduro (and others involved) instead of trolling on every single thing you don't like?  Roll Eyes
1639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: April 04, 2014, 07:57:16 AM
i don't understand, why is Auroracoin still mentioned in the OP?
is it because this thread (and the so called "operation/revolution") is allready dead...?
..or.. that the thread creators just don't want to admit they were wrong about this "scam/shitcoin" ??

go ahead and kill a coin which already has a good amount of people behind it, which looks to be a great success so far (look at the positive adoption amongst the people in Iceland), and which (after all those attacks) may be one of the greatest positive things that happened in crypto world..
lol... yeah.. that will really make the crypto world "better"..   Roll Eyes
