1641  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto exchange wars going on... FTX vs Binance on: November 09, 2022, 02:05:49 PM

What FTX exchange you are using. I believe the only FTX that is not affected is the .us one while the global FTX is still with withdrawal problem but there really some report on twitter that withdrawal is already resumed after the problem occur yesterday when the FTT sell off happened. I’m not a user of FTX but I’m sure they have a live support that can help you to process your withdrawal just like Binance do that typically requires you to fill up the form for your pending transaction.

You should notify the support since pending withdrawal usually overlooked since there is a queue of withdrawal already from user that fleeing the exchange.

I use FTX.com, I live outside US

Already sent message to support, but there's no live chat, only tickets, but anyway it's not a simple case to submit a ticket, all withdraws are paused
Can you show me where did you see about withdraws being resumed?
Thanks

On on-chain trnsaction of FTX exchange. I subscribed on a telegram news channel that gives me update on what’s going on in crypto space. You can check there post about this here: https://t.me/alphacryptoproject/6705

But you can simply search for FTX wallet of different blockchain explorer since there wallet address is tagged by there name. You can see withdrawal transaction on there wallet.

Dropping in late on this thread.

Guys, something I missed on the great scheme of things.

Having the following diagram in mind:

Who lent the stablecoins to Alameda with FTT as collateral (Step 3)?

Yeah, This is the power of unli print out of thin air in crypto. They can have infinite source of funds for there liquidity.
1642  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto exchange wars going on... FTX vs Binance on: November 09, 2022, 11:24:47 AM
Any updates? I've seen mixed reviews on Twitter — with some saying that their withdrawals are still pending(bigger amounts of money), and with some saying that it took 3-ish hours but the withdrawal ended up going through.

I just woke up and checked my account:

09/11/2022, 00:01:35   USDC on TRON network
08/11/2022, 21:15:35   Bank transfer
08/11/2022, 17:53:05   BNB   - bsc
08/11/2022, 17:52:23   BUSD - bsc
08/11/2022, 17:51:37   SOL
08/11/2022, 17:50:41   BTC

All above are stuck, different chains

Do you have any link of anyone saying about withdraw being processed?

1643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 06, 2022, 06:03:07 PM
Online casinos spend lower operational cost rather than offline casinos, but of course macro economy problem will affect their profit. I think it's not surprising for business to take a loan, reducing their staff or reduce their salary in order to maintain their business. If they can't maintain their performance on this situation, they will bankrupt and it's easier than offline casinos. They can just create new casino after they have enough money when the economy already recovered.

This is right. Online casinos has lower payroll for there staff since they are just using 3rd party game softwares on all there games. They are just paying minimal employee for support, security and devs to maintain the casino and its not that high operating cost compared to physical casino that has other bills and employees to attend lots of physical work.

I believe casino profit will decrease but not that much since gamblers will always find there way ro find money and most whales players on gambling is super rich in real life that can sustain gambling activities despite recession.
1644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CZ decided to dump all there FTT tokens on: November 06, 2022, 05:12:59 PM

FTX is a big exchange but its token has a low volume. He must be holding a lot since it's presale. It's very undermining that he has to announce thier dump plans actually. It's either he has already done dumping his FTT or he plans to buy more which he just wants holders to sell.

They are competitors but I think the better for him to understand and monitor his closest competitor more if he holds FTT than abandoning. This way he can check whats going to FTX closely.

Sam of FTX did the same on Binance last year after announcing they are pulling out there share on Binance. Base on CZ tweet, They are just starting to sell off there tokens slowly until they complete to liquidate all there tokens. This is surely a retaliation on Sam action towards Binance that’s why he is announcing this info on public to create panic on FTT holders since they are now not a business anymore.

Sam needs to counter this by providing liquidity to support the price from sliding off.
1645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Binance CZ decided to dump all there FTT tokens on: November 06, 2022, 04:48:51 PM
Recently, CZ released a series of tweets stated that Binance will start to liquidate there FTT token from there orderbook as part of there parting ways to FTX exchange since there announcement last year. They are doing it in batch since the liquidity on the orderbook is not sufficient to absorbed all there tokens on a decent price.

I’m sensing a price dump on FTT here like what happened on Luna and I’m sure this will create a ripple effect on crypto in general since this are the battle of 2 largest crypto exchange.

Quote from: cz
As part of Binance’s exit from FTX equity last year, Binance received roughly $2.1 billion USD equivalent in cash (BUSD and FTT). Due to recent revelations that have came to light, we have decided to liquidate any remaining FTT on our books.

Will crypto market will be affected again like what happened during Luna sell off?
1646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High roller looking for KYC-FREE casino on: November 06, 2022, 04:14:44 PM
jeez, money laundering is a non factor when gambling with BTC. Sending BTC to a casino actually makes bitcoin more "dirty".

There's no good reason for a casino to hold funds when requesting KYC, yet they all resort to these shady practices. I have been requested enhanced KYC by most of banks and my funds are never frozen or held if I refuse to complete the KYC.

this thread took a weird turn, not sure if it's full of spam trying to get post counts of non gamblers up or people actually believe bitcoin is washed in casino's (

It's normal to received those kind of response here in regards for KYC requirements of casino since that's what casino keeps saying when they are explaining there side in regards of KYC requirements to all user. This is also stated on every casino ToS under Anti Money Laundering policy.

But most post here is obviouly just a general thought just to fulfillmaignature post quota. You should make your thread a self moderate next time you will start a thread so that you can delete all the spam post.

Are you still looking for new casino?
1647  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pump isn't coming sooner on: November 06, 2022, 04:00:23 PM
2 days in a row Bitcoin price rises more than 5% and makes prices rise from $ 19K to $ 21K, unfortunately today the Red Market again and the hope to be able to touch $ 22K has not happened, for us, of course you want to see the price recovering soon, but if The price of dropping again is a moment to buy more.
There will be a need for a bigger news yo hype the market, if there is no news about developments or influencers that can make the price pump we will only just see some market manipulation made by whales in a short period of time which may not be enough to create hypes for the market to pump. We will need to wait more until the war is over, recession os done and the economy is getting well if there will be no news that will occur, we might not see some pump in the near days.
1648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is centralized, can we trust it anymore? on: November 06, 2022, 02:55:00 PM

Merge reduced the fee problem which exists for years in ethereum blockchain but what about the future and how suddenly we start to trust the centralized ones?

Because the reason for the evolution of cryptocurrencies mainly due to the decentralisation and it can't be controlled by government at any cost if its proof of work but with proof of stake and the stake holders are very few in major I am really concerned about the future.

The only reason why Bitcoin is still decentralized is because Satoshi is not known and also the existence of other blockchain what makes Bitcoin doesn't improved its TPS. Centralization is crucial part of Ethereum to boost its performance, There is a pros and cons but that doesn't they are not trusted anymore because all transactions is still recorded in the blockchain and regulators is already watching on it so it's not dangerous as it sounds compared before that everything in crypto is not being watch by regulators.

Ethereum just did the dirty job for Bitcoin on handling larger tps by sacrificing it decentralized feature.
1649  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptocurrency Casinos Are Ruling The Signature Campaign Here In Bitcointalk on: November 05, 2022, 04:38:49 PM
With the exception of Chipmixer, all the other signature campaigns are Crypto casino based, some are still for many years this is big proof that the Crypto casino industry is booming and the ICOs days are over, seven years ago all the signatures you see here are all Cryptocurrency projects.

Do you think that this trend will go on for many years?
Will Bitcointalk become known as a gambling forum?
Will the days of the altcoins signature campaign return in the future?

Bounty campaigns still the majority of business here in the forum if you will compared the number of active campaigns on bounty board to the bitcoin marketplace service board. It's just many high rank and quality poster user preferred campaigns that pays in Bitcoin because it guarantee payment while bounty campaign reward rokens has no certainty that it will have value after the campaign.

But bounty campaign is still much dominant rather than bitcoin campaigns in terms of number and participants.

But let's get down to business lol... the new 50% cashback, it doesn't seem to explain quite well in the games and rounds thread. It says, if you win you win, if you lose, you get cash back.

So is it actually 50% lossback then and not a rakeback? And do you have to wager ALL the deposit to try? Smiley
Yes it's definitely a loss back. I’ve got confused too on the mechanics but one thing is clear, You can only get the lossback if you loss 100% of your deposit. You can’t get the bonus if you still have balance left on the original balance. And also all the bonus earnings is included on the amount needs to be zero to get the loss back which means a whale should be broke completely before this bonus will trigger.

This is good as insurance and to let the whales play a little bit careless due to the lossback. Nice tactic.
Yeah, that's not really a great promotion to be honest, and you guys know me I'm always honest on BJF Wink 5% rakeback is better than 50% lossback, and even worse, you have to lose 100% of it all to get 50% back.

That's actually a terrible promo unless you're all-or-nothing kinda dude.
Not all promotions could be knock out of bounds, sometimes you get some stuff that are not as great as the previous ones and that’s fine, people need to learn how to live with that too. I am not saying it’s a bad one, or a terrible one or it shouldn't have happened. Compared to having nothing else, this is better than nothing, I am going to lose anyway so it is at least understandable to have this when I lose so that I could get something back and lose that too lol.

But, is there any other better methods? Sure, there are, that’s why I believe that we should not be saying this is bad, but instead we should be saying there are some better ones out there that we would rather see.

This is not bad promotion if there's a loyalty reward aside from this promotion but this promo covers even the bonus reward which means you can’t get anything out of this bonus unless you lose all your balance including the rewarss in the competition. Other casino offer this kind of promotion but they have loyalty reward that gives user a rakeback from the percentage of there wager amount.

Admin told me that they are closed on finishing the upgrade that might include the loyalty reward. Maybe they will timing this promotion on the upgrade that’s they gave an extra time for this campaign to start. This is a good promotion if they will release new VIP reward same time with this insurance.
1651  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Union Bank - Sinimulan na ang Bitcoin at Ethereum Trading on: November 05, 2022, 01:58:01 PM
Di ko nabasa itong news na ito, are they hosting trade using a private site for trial lang ba muna or sa apps na nila ito ginagawa?
Nakakaexcite talaga ang mga susunod na update when it comes to crypto adoption ng Unionbank and other online wallet, dumarame na silang nagkakainterest dito at panigurado magcrecreate ito ng hype sa mga local traders and  future investos. Sana maeducate ng Unionbank ang nakakarami, I think we needed that.

Cheesy

1653  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: November 04, 2022, 07:21:29 PM
If the buy back mechanism from owl token tem worj as planned then that will help to reduce the circulating supply of the token and also increase the value of owl token in the market.

Owl have performed well previously, but owl tokeb have also suffered in terms of price decline and trading volume and the reason for that can be traced to large amount of owl token in circulation and holders offloading them to dump the price.

Owl already spend around 59K USD worth of Owl tokens for there buy back program and that's already 2M Owl tokens off to the supply. Owl total supply is only 500M that only means they are doing a great job on there buy back program considering that they just recently start this year on doing it. The effect will be noticeable later on once Owl become more established and gain vast network of partners using there web 3 casino software.

You will be rewarded here big time if you wait patiently and keep accumulating there tokens.
1654  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: November 04, 2022, 07:01:33 PM
My list of things one should do to get rich

1. Don't borrow to spend, try to limit your spending within your earnings.

This is a wrong misconception on borrowing especially for business loan. I don't know how exactly ypu want to describe borrowing but it's really not a bad idea if the interest is not overkill because you can advance your money to spend it on business or investment opportunity while paying it slowly with just a minimal interest.

Borrowing is good too on buying necessities especially so that you can allocate some of your income on other things that can give you profit.

My comment is assuming that those borrowed money will be use on an investment since that's what I’m doing on my whole life. I use other money to fund my business and use the profit to pay it back slowly while giving me a savings from the profit. Even rich people borrow money to purchase something for investment purposes. Elon Musk is the best example here when he buys Twitter recently.

Yeah. This will be good if the bonus is excluded for the promotion to have a possible breakeven in case the whale player hits a bad luck on one of its days of gaming. But this will be good for those gambler streamer bastard that keeps tends to lose all there bank roll for the sake of there content. They are the perfect fit for your description of all or nothing dudes.

I watch many gambler streamers and most of them lose 100% of there bank roll on all of there content except the part that they win jackpot. Blackjack.fun need to contact those dudes to maximize this promotion.
1656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN VS LANDED PROPERTY on: November 04, 2022, 05:48:04 PM
It doesn't make sense to compare Bitcoin and Landed property, both of them are good option for investment and they have their own disadvantages. Do you think put all of your money to one investment asset is a good idea? Nope, that's mean you're never learn about risk management.

I will choose both of them since I invest on both Bitcoin and Landed property, but most of my money goes to Bitcoin since I'm really trust with Bitcoin and the future journey.
Investing in a right time and amount can lead to many profitable investment. It's good to have both as an investment. If there are opportunities to acquire properties then grab the chance provided you study the location and possible future value of the land. Many aims to have their future home and some dream of having big farm lots,  it's a good investment until we see it's potential for future returns since land value increases in time.

If we prefer trading and knowledgeable enough to get profit on it then focus first on trading until there is extra budget to buy other investment but make sure to atleast have your own home since the market isn't always about profit, as long as we know the risk we are taking when we invest either in land or in crypto.
1657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Crypto Gambling this year? on: November 04, 2022, 05:20:19 PM
I'm not sure if the list is worth trusting because I can see some on the list that had some BS cases here in Forum and had been facing multiple problem from their players .

But I wanna stick to WINZ.IO , Bitcasino , Bitvest ,Roobet and Duelbits so with those listed casino ? only few that I am very familiar that is legit  like FJ and the 2 others.

Bitvest? That casino is already outdated and it has a hot wallet problem issue in the past. I rather use the Duelbits or Stake plinko if user just want a higher multiplier for this kind of game rather stick with this casino which doesn't have other game to offer.

Stake, Betfury, Owl.game, Sportsbet are some casino that deserve much better spot on this kind of ranking staff due to there quality service in both bonuses and customer support.
1658  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC, more closer bullish days ahead. on: November 03, 2022, 03:46:09 PM
What a terrible way of emphasizing the recent movement of Bitcoin to tremendous bullish movement while it didn't even break above 21K to close the daily candle. In fact Bitcoin price is always showing this kind of price behaviour before and after FOMC meeting on releasing the interest rate for US citizen. This movement is not a big deal because it always multiple times and a great indicator that whales is just playing around this event and price area. Right now the price is dull and no buying anymore which means there's a high chance for a potential sell off again.

Chart is a friend to know what's really going on rather than just reading some random post of social media shillers about any price movement which probably this post came from.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling winner identity on: November 03, 2022, 01:46:17 PM

The man's reasoning is reasonable, but in my personal opinion this is an irresponsible act, he should as a husband, be honest with his wife or children and even if they turn into lazy, he just needs to educate them hard.

what do you think, is the man's action right or if you experience it (win a big jackpot) will you do as the man did or even be honest with your victory to your family??

He has valid point if he has a problematic wife which is very materialistic since there's a tendency that wife will really become lazy and just want to spend money. This already happened in real life to some lottery winners that result to immediately loss all there winning money.

This is only wrong if the husband intended to spend the money secretly for his own needs because family should be priority first and we are all working on our jobs just to support our family needs. Winning a lottery is useless if you will not spend it with them.
1660  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: November 03, 2022, 01:13:05 PM

Last but not least, I love BjFun but the lack of support, loyalty program for people that participate and actually deposits makes it harder to stick.

Cheers

I kinda share the sentiment  on this especially the lack of support. The email system makes the process so slow for a user that have a concern. Admin usually made a reply once a day and sometimes not available during weekends. Having a live support will be a better additional feature for the next update to make sure all the players concern is being answered.

Actually the on the spot free spin reward is already ok for me than the typical loyalty program that offers small rakeback percentage. This is only beneficial for whale players since small players will just get a penny as reward for there small wager. At least on free spin everyone has a chance to earn big with just one lucky spin.
