1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DAI and USDC depegged! on: March 11, 2023, 07:40:41 AM
That's very bad news for crypto. If USDC goes down, lots of banks and other institutes will go down with it. Hell it even might affect USDT and other stable coins too. This has the potential to create a total meltdown on crypto and if crypto gets affected that widely then it would affect the stock market. That would create a very big hole in the markets.

But why is that happening now? Is it because Powell's hawkish speech or was this planned long time ago?

I feel like something very big and very bad is coming towards us.

Probably this is the aftershock of FTX collapse once again since the fund involves is just circulating on all the project that get bankrupt.

I saw this image that explains graphically on these companies connected to each other through USDC funds.

I’m expecting more company will follow since USDC has a lot of exposure. What puzzles me is the DAI. I still don’t see their involvement to USDC while it’s token is depegged on same level with USDC. Let’s wait for the full report.

I smell that this move is related to CBDC preparation.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / DAI and USDC depegged! on: March 11, 2023, 07:29:40 AM
Today this 2 stable coins crash for almost 12% - 20% price decrease on the dollar. Probably this is the effect of Circle downfall due to Silvergate and Silicon Valley Bank collapse which is holding most of there reserve funds.

I don’t know what’s happening on DAI but best guess is something bad going on MakerDao. Invest safe! Avoid stablecoins for now!
1185  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 10, 2023, 03:35:37 PM
For the basic level, it's very easy to get verification but not for advanced level verification because there is verification by doing software which takes time.
I sometimes get irritated with the software because it often finds it difficult to recognize faces but after trying for a while, the verification is finally successful.
Sometimes it doesn't take a long time for a verification process like that because the verification process itself is carried out live and gets approval from the application.
But document verification might take a while, so we have to be patient and ask customer service more often.

Same scenario here. I often repeat the process since bot recognize my face or my face doesn’t match to my ID when I’m using mobile phone for an AI KYC. I usually do this kind of KYC on my laptop. I can easily finish the KYC without a problem even though my webcam has a poorer camera quality to mobile phone.

It’s really sucks to do this kind of verification using mobile because AI sometimes very on a selfie camera ratio unlike the webcam picture.
1186  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: March 10, 2023, 03:29:09 PM
If you were him, how would you survive this tough time ? As a friend, I am trying to help him as much as I can and meanwhile, I am planning to save more money to prepare for the unexpected challenges in my life. What about you ?

Find a new job abroad if there’s no job vacancy in your country. Having a 10 years experience will easily gave him a golden ticket for a job opportunity abroad that still looking for workers like Canada, Singapore and Australia. Also since he get fired, He will surely get a separation fee that he can use to start business or for requirements for a new job.

This is the common mistake of people that prisoner of employment. They become attach to the current job which result to unpreparedness for jobless. If I’m in his position, I’m probably on the competitor company applying on the same job that I’m doing the moment my company close.
1187  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 10, 2023, 02:48:00 PM
But when we lose, it's a wasted bet because we can use the money for other things that might be more useful. But because we want to benefit from gambling, we still place bets and whatever the outcome, we can accept it.

You can give your tips in your thread and we really appreciate it. Maybe this can also help you build a reputation in this forum and if many people can win from your tips, it certainly helps them to win some money. And I've seen you give those tips. We'll see how it turns out later.

The bet is what being described not the money involved. All bet win or lose is not a waste because it’s his prediction based on the OP analogy. I can understand you for mistakenly understand it because the content and title is really confusing at first glance.

He is just trying to say that all his bets is most of the time winning due to the site he is using to get prediction. His winning bet compensate his lose bet ergo lose is not waste.
1188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don’t buy Bitcoin when FUD is over on: March 10, 2023, 02:43:51 PM
Don’t buy Bitcoin when FUD is over because it’s very hard to timing when will it happened or else you will be buying at high price.
Like don't try to time the market and find it bottom. You can not.
Dollar Cost Averaging is cool. This website is useful to make your DCA plan https://dcabtc.com/

With DCA, you will spend fund regularly and after a few months or years, you will have big net capital by DCA. If you don't do DCA, you will not assign a same big net capital because when you have money in hands, you likely will use it for other purposes that reduce total capital for your investment.

I do DCA most of the time but I’m looking for a scenario like this for a possible good entry on short trade separate to my DCA. I personally find DCA quite boring especially if the price keeps back and forth that result to breakeven even if I’m doing DCA since 16K to 25K.

This is what I’m doing now to find a perfect opportunity to purchase at the current trend bottom and not the real bottom because no one can really predict that sweet price for entry.
1189  Other / Beginners & Help / Don’t buy Bitcoin when FUD is over on: March 10, 2023, 12:24:28 PM
Don’t buy Bitcoin when FUD is over because it’s very hard to timing when will it happened or else you will be buying at high price.

Buy Bitcoin when FUD is upcoming while the price of Bitcoin doesn’t move much or dump harder. You will see the chart that it’s just sideways despite multiple FUD is piling up. This means that mean that there’s still a lot of solid Bitcoin holders while weak hands is leaving. Doing this will give you high chance to purchase on the bottom trend.  Wink

1190  Economy / Economics / Re: Could Bitcoin become a reserve currency one day? on: March 09, 2023, 04:11:49 PM
There are already companies that keep bitcoin as reserves; in time, banks will also have to adopt this since they can't beat the system and will have to join it.
Check out the list of companies using Bitcoin as reserves; it might be outdated somehow, as I believe companies like Tasla might have sold out some of their Bitcoin reserves.

Surprisingly, some of the companies that on the list is already file bankruptcy like Voyager while Tesla recently announced that they are already sold their Bitcoin holdings.

I think the OP pertain the reserve currency of country that holds by the central bank and not as a reserved balance of a corporate which the list all about.

@OP, The volatility of Bitcoin will always be the problem on this idea. A reserve price shouldn’t volatile or else it will cause havoc in the economy.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports arbitrage on: March 09, 2023, 04:04:41 PM
This is being done from quite a lot of time actually. There are people who deal exclusively with it and make money on it but as been said already here it is a daily job,you cannot just go and watch some sites that offer you the best deals like Betburger the most well known one.You need to maintain a lot of gambling accounts and that is a lot of work,to keep track of all of those. On top of all these things arbitrage gives you very little profit in terms of percentage so you need a lot of budget which is the most limiting factor for many people who want to do it but can't because they lack funds.

So it is a "sport" for the already rich ones I am afraid, the arbitrage betting.

Maintaining your account is least of your concern because sportsbook is already vigilant on cracking down players that involves on arbitrage betting. Your lucky if you can bet without being unnoticed but your balance might be freeze or worst confiscated once you abuse too much arbitrage betting. This is the common issue nowadays on sportsbook. 99.99% of the complaints here in the forum is about account being froze for doing arbitrage. I will not risk my account as well my balance on doing such thing with minimal profit.
1192  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 09, 2023, 12:22:39 PM
I think maybe there are a lot of requests for KYC approval so that makes the process a bit slow, but it's also true that you might just need patience to wait for KYC to be processed, because what I know is that Duelbits can be called a big casino of course they also have a support service that is always ready to handle problems like this, it may be necessary to contact service support so that the problem can be resolved immediately, I have not completed KYC on this site but if it is required then I will do it.

Not only KYC request but also different concern that consume Duelbits support time. Also most the casino doesn’t have the instant verification feature for KYC unlike exchange offer because they manually verify the documents or submit it to the 3rd party who verify KYC for them. I experience undergoing KYC on other casino which took me a week to play again. I believe 3 to 7 days is the standard waiting of KYC procedure on Duelbits.

1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you say about this investment plan on: March 08, 2023, 02:05:29 PM
Is it safe to invest in Defi projects that has it's own Stablecoin? There is one project I like but the thought of having a stablecoin makes me feel unsafe about the project, we all know how such projects always end up, the mess with Luna and it's stable coin still lives in me till date.

It depends on the stablecoins mechanism on how they peg their token. The reason why UST failed is because the founder sell its stablecoin in discounted price while it’s mechanism to peg to $ involves the value of Luna that automatically adjust the supply in able to peg UST to dollar. A normal stablecoin that backed by real $ in the bank with proper audit is safe. Luna is just so dumb to launch a stablecoin that pegged on their own token that is not stable.

DeFi is on the brink of downfall due to the worsening global economy. I really doubt that investing on DeFi is still a good idea because crypto market is dumping which means that no one is willing to lend money is worst economy.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling advertisements: A big trigger to gambling addiction. on: March 08, 2023, 11:57:43 AM
People that is on the process of gambling addiction treatment usually advised to avoid browsing the web since there's a high chance on stumbling on one of this ads. There's no way to stop it since there's no law that will control gambling advertisements. Also if I personally avoiding gambling, I will definitely stay away on my computer since online gambling is one click away and that gambling ads is just least of my concern when I'm online and avoiding gambling on every form.

We can't blame the ads to target gambler. The gambler itself should be the one to make away to avoid those things.
1196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Threads on local currency with bitcoin! on: March 06, 2023, 02:30:40 PM
What do you suggests to solve or amend easy way trading? With our government policies

Lol, Do you realize what you are asking here. You are asking here for help to break your law. The only solution here is to follow the law or leave your country because doing tricks to just to invest invest in crypto while you are clearly doing a crime is not a good idea. You are just making yourself in a tight spot by having an investment that there’s no certainty that you can benefit on it in the future because it can be seized by the government when you caught.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple and SEC Are Friends! Ugly Truth! on: March 06, 2023, 01:10:51 PM
All the points introduced by OP sounds like a butthurt comment from an XRP investors that bought on top and still currently holding or recently cut loss. I’m not an XRP investors because they are shitty centralized blockchain project but it’s dumb for them to put an effort to have a show against SEC lawsuit while they can always liquidate their asset with other excuse such as venture on different project or team expenses rather than attack their project themselves to decrease its value.

Neither do investors nor XRP team benefits when their own token dump.  Roll Eyes
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you sell Shib now? Am holding on: March 06, 2023, 11:37:16 AM
According to a recent Twitter post by @Finbold, a financial news and information platform, Shib has emerged as the most popular token held by Ethereum whales. Upon encountering this news via CoinMarketCap's news feed this morning, I had originally intended to sell my Shib. However, the announcement has led me to believe that Shib could perform exceptionally well this year. As a Shib enthusiast, I would encourage others to hold onto their tokens as we may witness prosperous times ahead, and our patience may result in significant reward.

Elon Musk is out on crypto and probably he will be soon out on Doge. Doge is the only reason why Shib got a spotlight because it leached on the meme coin hype of doge before. Now that Elon is potentially out, I don’t see any future for the price of Shib and meme coins in general because they are designed useless without any real utility.

I will sell all day Shib and any meme coin if I still have this coin on my wallet. But luckily I already all of my holdings 2 years ago.
1199  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |20% RAKEBACK TO ALL|SLOTS|SPORTS BETTING|70% RAKEBACK RUSH HOUR on: March 06, 2023, 11:33:50 AM

Hi @blackjack.fun,

I've just recently uploaded my KYC, the only issue is that my proof of address was addressed to my grandfather as I am not contributing to any utility bill from where I currently live (just for now).

Thanks!

Heya, just wanted to follow up my KYC verification process, its been 3 days since I submitted the required documents and ID's. I also hope that the issue with regards to the utility bill won't be an issue. Thank you very much @blackjack.fun.

Try to use discord to chat the support. Sometimes an admin is fast to answer the ticket created in there. I once encounter another KYC request on my new account but I resolved my issue quickly by contacting the the live support since they can push your request to the KYC department for a fast verification. The last time I submit KYC, It took me a week by just waiting.
1200  Economy / Reputation / Re: Request to DT Members to Reconsider their Negative Feedback on my profile on: March 05, 2023, 05:17:40 PM
I didn't break any roles or did anything wrong. (even account selling was not against forum rule that time)

To clarify your concern. Account is not against the rules here even until now. DT is just unmoderated and they find account selling as unethical because it’s the cause of a lot of problem like what the negative tag description.

It’s very hard to convince DT to remove if you don’t do anything to contribute in the forum aside from waiting for 5 years to request for the removal of negative tag. Trust feedback has no expiration though and DT decision can’t be affected by the time. Good luck with this bud.
