1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Used Bitcoin To Feed The Homeless on: November 17, 2014, 04:31:50 PM
I'd like to see a "How I used Bitcoin to Eat the Rich" thread.

We need more charity in BTC, all crypto charity is done by doge community.
We absolutely do not need more charity. Charity is unethical. What the world needs now more than ever is solidarity among the working-poor, underemployed, and unemployed castes.
1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs. War: Can Bitcoin Reduce Wars? on: November 17, 2014, 04:14:09 AM
No, but we can. Empathy can.

1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rejoice! Bitcoin IS Bitcoin 2.0 ... on: November 13, 2014, 03:59:18 AM
Bitcoin is Bitcoin 9.0
1664  Economy / Speculation / Re: bottom around 200$ in summer 2015?https://forums.robertsspaceindustries.com/ on: November 13, 2014, 03:57:29 AM
Bottom of 2014 was 275,  October 6th.

1665  Economy / Speculation / Re: $400 has been hit way too quick, people will get burned buying here on: November 13, 2014, 03:51:54 AM
November 2014 could go down as the last month in history that 1 BTC could be exchanged for less than $500 usd.
1666  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crossed 500 USD - Bull Market returns ? on: November 13, 2014, 03:48:20 AM
I am optimistic now simply because the price held at $350-400 for so long.  Which means, it's not likely to go lower than that.
Considering what happened this time last year, I dare say we may never again see sub-500 bitcoins after this month.
1667  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 3̶6̶0̶$̶ 435$ on: November 13, 2014, 03:43:53 AM
All of this has happened before.

1668  Economy / Speculation / Re: How can the market recover after a huge dump? on: November 13, 2014, 03:36:19 AM
Demand is always growing, supply is always shrinking. This only plays out one way.

True general artificial intelligence.
1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RAOUL PAL: Bitcoin Is Worth $1,000,000 on: November 12, 2014, 04:13:18 PM
Those rectangular scraps of cotton with inked symbols declaring faith in the state (obedience) and god (superstition) are grossly overvalued if you think you can trade 1,000,000 of them for ANY amount of bitcoin (real money).

How many machine-replica papyrus scrolls would you give me for 1 BTC? How many sheep? How many pounds of grain? Oh wait, who gives a damn.

Bitcoin is worth

1671  Economy / Economics / Re: Who's brave/stupid enough to invest their life savings into fiat scrip? on: November 12, 2014, 04:05:58 PM
IMHO investing in Bitcoin & FIAT both has its own associated risks. People should invest in businesses.
Bad advice of the month. http://www.forbes.com/sites/ericwagner/2013/09/12/five-reasons-8-out-of-10-businesses-fail/
1672  Economy / Economics / Who's brave/stupid enough to invest their life savings into fiat scrip? on: November 12, 2014, 01:58:20 PM
Reading a story from a few decades ago, where some people invested all their life savings into Weimar Republic Promissory Notes and started to live off them. Then hyperinflation hit and they burned their savings for heat. All fiat scrip is promissory notes, which are tantamount to MtGox coins that haven't been goxed yet.

1674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2014, 02:46:30 PM
Bitcoin is the foundation upon which we will build a bankster-free future.
1675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 9 MILLION WORTH OF BITCOIN TO GO UNDER THE HAMMER | DailySatoshi.com on: November 10, 2014, 09:15:29 PM
Satoshi should send him an email back saying he's got a million btc from the genesis block onwards so he can spend 24,500 btc on a blowjob and some   lunch..... Smiley
I heard Satoshi was a genderless Reptillian High Lord from the Andromeda Galaxy, so he doesn't have penis and therefore cannot receive a blowjob.
1676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EUROPOL THREAT !!! on: November 10, 2014, 02:47:57 AM

Yup, same thing I noticed, good point.
Crazy how fast this cat and mouse game happens...always the good vs. bad, one playing catchup!

Lets see them try and shutdown openbazaar where there is no site operator, no server, and no domain to shutdown.
Yeah, but can we get weed there yet?
1678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ruble Collapse Could Fuel Next Bitcoin Run on: November 08, 2014, 08:11:48 PM
That's an interesting hypothesis and as you say could be really huge
Is there broad based mainstream awareness of btc in Russia?

1679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than any other cryptocurrency on: November 07, 2014, 04:34:10 PM
It is the most secure. Talk of scenarios about how the Fed could pour money into hardware to generate a  51% attack on Bitcoin becomes less and less prevalent. But doing so to an alt would be a lot easier.
Correct.

1680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify a bitcointard on: November 07, 2014, 03:41:08 PM
I'd rather be the stupidest of the bitcointards than the smartest altTard on these forums.

At least I won't end up dancing for nickels in the street when the dust settles.

Blind faith works. Until it doesn't. Investment 101 rule #1: diversify.
I'm not an investor, and I don't do faith. I divested my savings from the US dollar because I view it as the dubious & unstable scam-currency of a failing military empire.

I choose bitcoin as my store of wealth because I understand (at least at a basic level) how and why it works as a form of programmable money, and because it has a limited supply.
