Because capitalism deserves it.
742  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SHAME ON YOU on: June 29, 2015, 02:50:49 PM
You post stinks with hypocrisy. You have a twisted logic if you think that religion is the sole cause of violence in this world.
Strawman argument; putting words in my mouth.

I never said religion was the sole cause of violence, I said it was the ally of violence. Superstition makes a less reasoned world, a less reasoned world is more violent because reason compels us away from violence and toward understanding.
743  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Southern Rebal Flag on: June 29, 2015, 02:29:54 PM
If you're offended or disgusted by the ISIS/ISIL flag, you should be equally offended by the Confederate flag.

Both are symbols of bronze age ethics (slavery).
744  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SHAME ON YOU on: June 29, 2015, 04:25:21 AM
But then again, who cares? If someone verbally abuses me, I'll just ignore him and move on. The elephant keeps walking while the dogs keep barking.
Your elephant has been getting weaker and smaller every year for three decades, and we scientist dogs are big and hungry. You know what the Internet is for you? It's deep mud, and you're bound to get stuck.

Then we feast. I'm going to enjoy watching the few remaining holdout Christians lose their minds over the next two to three decades. It's going to feel more and more like the end times because it really is for organized religion.
745  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SHAME ON YOU on: June 29, 2015, 04:12:05 AM
What is it you're upset about again? Other people sharing orgasms in ways you and your imaginary sky-friend don't approve of?

Oh, alright then. In that case, kindly go fuck yourself to death while on fire in a church. Asshole.

Welcome to the internet by the way, THIS INVENTION MEANS DEATH FOR RELIGION,  IT HAS ALREADY BEGUN, YOUR IGNORANCE HAS NO CHANCE TO SURVIVE. Your children will mock you until you forsake your god (s). Your kind are and will continue to be forcibly removed from positions of power just like racists and all the other form of ignorant hatred of the past.

Wow! I see tolerance of other people's opinions and beliefs is not one of your strong points.
I loathe violence and love reason. Our world is a zero-sum game between the two, always has been. For the last 400 years or so our world has become more reasonable and less violent, this is good. Superstition (including religion subset) is the enemy of reason and ipso facto ally of violence.  Fewer religious people means a less violent civilization. A civilization of pure reason would have no interpersonal violence.

I want religion gone because I want to leave a kinder, more compassionate world for the next generation to inherit. And I'm going to get what I want because religion is a system of lies, an anaerobic bacteria which is at this moment suffocating to death in the oxygen-loaded air of the information age.

If you are a friend to religion you are a friend to violence,  like it or not. And I'd really appreciate it if you'd just do the rest of humanity a favor and send yourself to your afterlife paradise with haste, so the rest of us can enjoy the Paradise on Earth that science beckons us toward.

I am in a monogamous relationship, but am polyamorous at heart.
Same here. Paying rent in my city costs too much of my time to sustain multiple very intimate relationships, to say nothing of the rarity of compatible +young + mutually attractive +poly folk.

Emboldened is the essence of polyamory. I only wish more people were like this.
Everyone will be like this after a few more decades, the walls have already begun crumbling down for all the myths of religion, monogamy is simply the last one to go.

As if this has never happened before throughout history

nothing I wrote implied this is the first time a taboo has fallen away. When America was 13 colonies, both homosexuality and masturbation were crimes punishable by death.

Change is the only constant.

As if this has never happened before throughout history... The walls crumble... Then it is rebuilt, then it goes down again... Over and over again. Nothing new.
Slavery was never returned after the violence to end slavery. Feudalism isn't making any comebacks either. Nor will monogamy, or capitalism when they fall to INTERNET + empathy.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin was accepted everywhere would you use it? on: June 28, 2015, 04:00:34 PM
I already use it.

751  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poll: 25% of Moslems in America Support Violent Jihad Against Americans on: June 27, 2015, 05:30:00 PM
Considering the fact that there are some 3 million Muslims in the United States, let me do some simple calculations:

1. Total Muslim population: 3 million (of which some 750,000 are African-American, and another 800,000 Arab).
Also consider how many Muslims watch the O'reilly factor (7), and how many of them responded to his poll (0).

I would say we can ignore anything that hateful Christian Conservatard says about Muslims.
752  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sex behind bars. Conjugal Visits. Good or Bad? on: June 27, 2015, 05:23:00 PM
I still think its a bad idea. Criminals are put in jail because they are not suitable for society so their fore they should not be having sex.
Yeah, can't have them pot smokers out there mingling with the rest of society.
753  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which presidential candidate would you vote for? on: June 27, 2015, 05:21:41 PM
Bernie Sanders would get my vote, seems to be the only sane person on the list though I can't see him becoming prez any time soon.
A secular jew socialist? No chance, not in the USA, not yet. Two - three generations from now, maybe.
754  Other / Politics & Society / Re: It’s Time to Legalize Polygamy on: June 27, 2015, 05:20:33 PM
Is love = trust = myth = an obsolete concept of possession and control?
Jealousy is the myth, compersion is true human nature.

Compersion

-The feeling of joy one has experiencing another's joy, such as in witnessing a toddler's joy and feeling joy in response.
-The feeling of joy associated with seeing a loved one love another; contrasted with jealousy.
755  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: June 27, 2015, 05:18:11 PM
So before newton was born... Bullets did not know where to go? Technically speaking of course...
Correct, before Newton was born physics didn't existence, and bullets would behave randomly.

756  Other / Politics & Society / Re: USA finally approves gay marriage on: June 27, 2015, 04:14:31 PM
Thoughts?
This is without question a victory for reason, compassion, and equality. Still, I can't endorse the institution of marriage, which is obsolete feudal sexual restriction to my eyes, but it's about fucking time they told the south to STFU and gave LGBTs equal rights.

Sanders or workers revolution is coming within next four years.

Neither good nor bad, merely futile and irrelevant.

Science is predicated upon Empiricism, which is merely a theory
