1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My feelings after 11 years with crypto. on: September 03, 2022, 06:06:38 PM
Shitcoin did mislead me, I also experienced a big loss because the reason I bought shitcoin was because I was too ambitious to make big profits but what happened it all lost 70% and after that I don't want shitcoin to be in my hands especially on a new project I will continue ignore it even though many offer this token it's interesting.
All traders have suffered various losses due to the hype of altcoin investing in cryptocurrencies, which is why some altcoins are called bullsh*t even the previous top 5 altcoin luna coins have crashed without recovery and have realized that many traders regarding technical flows on altcoin movements are very sensitive and unpredictable. However, the top altcoin alternatives are only ETH and BNB so nothing else.

It's true we have to focus on bitcoin which is actually the main and top coin, I think there have been many strategic ways of investing in bitcoin from Hodl, DCA, buying BTC while having capital and many others, one thing I do on bitcoin is long term investment.
You are right, the investment strategy above is very complete to add more bitcoins regularly to your long-term portfolio, but you must be consistent for long-term investments without involving investments from other basic needs funds because many investors decide to take profit/cut loss due to financial mismanagement. So it will damage the portfolio for long-term investment purposes.
1662  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: September 03, 2022, 04:49:52 PM
Finding a website that is not strict with KYC isn't difficult, the one difficult is finding a reputable site that is not strict with KYC.  Only a few known reputable Casino sites are remaining to be not strict with KYC and many are transitioning into KYC-compliant casinos since they are being pressured by the regulations imposed by the authority.  If only Casinos can operate without this KYC stuff, they will be happy to because this KYC stuff eats money,  so not implementing KYC will save them lots of money, but well, as I said, they have to comply with AML regulation.
The online casino linkage with AML regulations requires every casino user to comply with KYC, so you find other popular online casinos are not strict for KYC then the team has not released the KYC rules and the team is still working to implement KYC soon. It is suggested that the authorities should not only enforce the AML regulations in every online casino but should facilitate third parties to monitor the KYC of each user and the regulations should be strengthened to punish any casino that spreads privacy data or weak data privacy security systems.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 03, 2022, 10:33:39 AM
You are right, perhaps it's Canelo's way of motivating himself. Or maybe he thinks that GGG is already old and need to retire after this fight. We have heard that as well to Thurman when he fought Manny, but the opposite happen.
Canelo condition was not fine after losing to Bivol so his statement expressed motivation for him that Canelo had to defend his ego from his statement until he could win the fight. But hey, that fight will defend some middleweight titles so they have to fight for the emotional high, the third fight will risk everything even career threatening for the decision to retire.

Quote
It's below the belt, Canelo knows that he can't do that because he himself doesn't want that kind of trashtalk. Everything should settled in the ring between the two. No need to disrespect and I think both are not that kind of boxers. No personal attacks about families, everyone that is close to their hearts.
Both professional boxers are personal to put out good statements but the match is for risking everything so there must be disagreements against each other, I repeat that because it's hype for boxing's biggest fight, in the end they are very sporting and willing to accept fair decisions.
1664  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: September 03, 2022, 09:59:14 AM
Ser, if played more properly and seriously, Monopoly is actually a game that requires skill and strategy to win consistently. It's "fun" for spending time with friends/family, and also "relaxing" if no one made a bet with real actual money to award for the winner of the game. But bet enough money in the game, and you'll see the relaxing mood, become more serious with more intention to win. Hahaha.
If monopoly is added for betting then it will be interesting, but if we play for fake money then it will not spur challenge and just normal game. I have searched for the keyword Monolopy betting has been added to several casino sites but some of the games have been combined, so it doesn't look like the usual monopoly game. But the monopoly game might be worth adding to the popular casinos because the game is famous all over the world and the casino just needs to update the game concept to be more interesting and provide some challenges for the players.
1665  Economy / Economics / Re: Germans are looking to firewood for energy as natural gas prices soar on: September 02, 2022, 04:26:22 PM
Firewood as a solution to high gas price? Ridiculous. Worse decision ever. What next, go to caves and prey hunting? How long do they plan to replace gas with firewood? Few years and there will be no trees on the earth.
As long as Russia still covers gas supplies to Germany, then there is an alternative way for people to prepare firewood for sufficient supply for the winter, the demand for wood is increasing because the government has subsidized it, but will it reduce natural greening if the demand for firewood increases?

Quote
I have a fireplace also, but its purpose is to heat biggest room only. I know that is individual, but one fireplace usually dont heat whole house, but having multiple fireplaces at home is an expensive investment during construction period, it limits useful space at home. And keeping fire creates minor inconveniences. It is not pull the handle and go to sleep.
If the fireplace uses gas for only limited use while the gas is still filled, it will eventually switch to a pallet wood fireplace, but it is unhygienic for indoor use, creating dust that is bad for breathing.

I was using the system preferences for dark mode, but I guess it's not widely supported. I have updated the dark/light mode handling, you can now override it.
Doesn't seem to work yet, I've used several browser apps but the switch to bright mode doesn't work yet, I'm sure you'll fix it soon.

1667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: September 02, 2022, 02:04:46 PM
I think it is very important to reecho this hard truth that Bitcoin has no political agenda. Although most economic decisions have some political undertone, Bitcoin has no intention of unsettling political officeholders and filling their positions with Bitcoiners.
Bitcoin is still Bitcoin forever, but the decentralized system "may" threaten the economic factors managed by the government so that it is associated with political tone or whatever to reduce public interest in cryptocurrencies, the government oversees the growth of bitcoin in its country and releases regulations on the use of cryptocurrencies are limited and even prohibits it for activities any. Bitcoin has grown naturally as people get used to decentralized systems and comparing government economic systems but both are necessary for the economy, so I don't think there's anything to argue about.

I have not been active lately on Duelbits mainly due to work reasons, but never received a 5$ bonus, so there must be other rules in place which decides who gets the bonus and who not. Would like to receive one though lol; would use to make a crazy multiple in the sportsbook.
You may have to check inbox messages in emails, exclusive messages should be claimed on private messages so maybe no special category gets bonus and many opinions just random users get exclusive promo codes, I have checked posts from @ryzaadit and he is very lucky to get more bonuses every month.

But i agree with you that anyway it is really big win for all these men. The same time much more men just lost these several thousands usd. These wins often used by casino to attract new gamblers and big part of them think that he can be this winner. And lose all their money.
You are right, not even the calculation is comparable to the biggest win even if someone has gambled for 5 years, the simple calculation above has even proven that he only spent +$54k for 5 years, so the above win is very rare even in the future the list of records above remains and impossible to be surpassed.
1670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra Luna Updates on: September 01, 2022, 09:58:10 PM
You can't convince me that the Terra team isn't involved with the Luna crash. They cash out huge amounts of money from the market. But they always denied it and create version two instead of burning old coins. As we saw Binance's CEO had suggested burning extra supply and going ahead. But the Terra team never heard that. A lot of investors lost their lifetime earnings. Even I lost approx $5K in the last waves. So I am not interested to hear their fucking excuse.
Investors have lost some of their assets due to the investment hype for high profits but the price of Luna crashed to almost no value, actually the current price increase doesn't mean anything and even the price can't recover to $0.1, the current price condition is affected to pump and dump then be careful to get involved in trading Luna coins even for short term profit.
1671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: September 01, 2022, 04:19:46 PM
I really think it was a coincidental win on Leon Edward's part, Kamaru Usman was really winning that fight being dominating the entire 3 rounds even if he lost the last round Usman still wins this but that feint hook kick is what I want to call it, was really on timing and the strength could really hurt and gets out cold Leon Edwards, for me it was luck he surely conditioned Kamaru Usman with that left hook for him to get caught but I think it was a last-ditch effort for Leon Edwards in winning this and for his surprise it works
Who knows if Leon Edward hid his deadly kick at the right time without the opponent's suspicion by manipulating the movement of his left hook punch, Leon Edward ability deserves thumbs up even though most people say the luck factor but in fact his hard kick has stopped the fight and changed everything, even Usman dominance points for The previous 3 rounds will be wasted, so that's how the fight is because there will be a change in conditions before all rounds end. So how the continuation of the fight of the two since both score draws, will there be a third fight for next year?
1672  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: August 31, 2022, 06:28:13 PM
yes, we need to start dissociating a website having KYC with it being safer
it usually falls in that common matrix

there are safe websites and good teams with KYC
there are safe websites and good teams without KYC
there are bad websites and bad teams with KYC
there are bad websites and bad teams without KYC

there are many other situations where we can apply this small matrix
The matrix is simple, that the fact that must be judged that the casino platform and KYC have their differences, which we have to make sure for this matrix

there are safe websites and good teams with KYC

Make sure the website can be trusted for the security of user privacy data, so that gamblers have interaction for KYC verification without worries about abuse of other people's data privacy.
1673  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you felt the impact of inflation so far? on: August 31, 2022, 06:08:52 PM
Yes, it will be done soon and maybe on September 1 it will be implemented. People are getting more and more tormented because of government policies, they think that the state's loss is only because of the people but they forget that the corrupt political elite is the cause of the problem. I don't know if they would consider the impact of the hike on low-income people, but they don't seem to care and will anyway.

In the midst of severe inflation, the government came to a conclusion that really made the people suffer, this is a condition that we did not expect. 30% to 40% increase in fuel is bullshit.
The increase in fuel prices triggers an increase in all other basic needs, meaning that the government indirectly approves all aspects of the increase in the price of goods and services, the condition of the people is very screaming and the lack of jobs available from the government will increase the poverty line, but they outsmart the increase in fuel prices by distributing financial assistance to poor people in reducing the demonstration of fuel hikes from various communities or civil society forums. The announcement of an increase in fuel prices of up to 40% is a failure of the government to improve the welfare of the people, especially in conditions of high inflation.

1674  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for August on: August 31, 2022, 05:41:33 PM
I'm one of the 65%. My last chart thought BTC will reach 24k-25k at end of August but it didn't. Somehow I ignored that we were in a ghost month last August. Maybe because I am not doing active trades anymore since last month. Now BTC needs to hold the 18k-19k level otherwise there will be another dip in the next months to come.
The chart for the past few weeks is almost touched the recovery for 25k but unfortunately the correction came faster to return at 20k, actually I am worried at the stable 20k because the market is very easy to fall in the 18k-19k call area for the next correction, so the final conclusion is at 17k if it doesn't hold, then the low price for a new record will be released soon.

Looking back at the previous ATH of 2017, there was a blood bath in the next 2 years. We will see if it happens again when there is much positive news about crypto from different governments.
We will not forget the history of ATH 2017, there has always been a lot of pressure from various angles to discourage crypto investment, but the next quarter will come with positive news to increase crypto investment, even government involvement in supporting crypto. This point is repeated every time after the bearish phase has passed and the market momentum will return for a recovery high, an important milestone for the new ATH targets.
1675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: August 31, 2022, 05:09:52 PM
Don't get me wrong.  I am not asserting that there is no benefits in waiting for dips, but I am saying that many times  newbies overly think the matter .. and I am NOT sure if you consider yourself a newbie or not because according to your forum registration date,
Sometimes the newbie stigma is overly opinionated about the price of BTC, even though the BTC price has dropped to $15k lower then the newbie stigma says it will soon reach $10k or it will dips more, so the newbie mindset needs to be corrected that they have to understand the year to year movement of bitcoin so that they understand what a margin call is so they don't miss the momentum of the lowest BTC market price.

Hopefully, you are not investing money that you need to cover your various monthly expenses.  It is likely going to be much better to make sure that you maintain enough funds to cover your various monthly expenses, including having funds that you can draw upon if you ever have any emergency needs to have funds.. because ultimately you want to draw upon your bitcoin funds that are ONLY at a time that is completely of your own timing and your own choosing rather than being forced to do it at a time that is not of your choosing, even if you might conclude it is NO BIG DEAL - and in that regard, there are many people who start spending from their BTC funds when the BTC funds are profitable, and then end up losing out on the compounding effects that historically has come from holding BTC funds for a long time.
We must have effective financial management to ensure we allocate funds for different needs, generally we must have multiple allocations for monthly needs funds, investments and emergency needs. So if we optimize funds for each allocation then we can make sure it won't interfere with historical compounding for long term investments, I agree some expert opinion says margin calls start at current price although we don't need to rush into DCA strategy because we have to make sure the $17k area market can hold or will fall deeper.
1676  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Biggest Wins with lowest risks in Casino History on: August 30, 2022, 09:02:16 PM
It is possible lottery jackpot winners spent more than what they win.
We can simply make a simple calculation, lets say someone win $40m from the jackpot after so many years of buying tickets every single day.
Do not say that people dont have such money because actually it is a total amount for so many years.
It is indeed rare but is still possible to happen but I still believe that most lottery jackpot winners are in decent profit.
The list above is for the biggest win with the lowest bet so I'm not sure for your calculations above, I assume the capital calculation is under $100k for a $40 million jackpot win and some of them are pure jackpot wins without big capital, there should be a complementary article to explain the details of the capital that has been issued on the betting list above to avoid being over speculative. But the points above are rare and strange wins because no one can beat them and will determine the biggest jackpot win in gambling history with the lowest bet of all time.

Only gambling casino is very slow to verify KYC from customers based on many feedbacks here in the forum.
Each platform takes time for user KYC verification process but relatively only waiting 24 hours from submission time, so we don't need to compare with centralized exchange because casino platform just added KYC regulations so it has to verify user data carefully, so every user has submitted KYC and then trust the casino team to work, if there is any delay in KYC verification then you are free to contact the team for your complaint.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 29, 2022, 02:28:39 PM
Gane is just way better in all aspects of the game if compared with Tuivasa.  But I'm not saying Tuivasa can't win.  He can, esp with Gane having the tendency to dart in with his shots at times.  It opens opportunities for Tuivasa to get in the clinch and do those elbows like he did to Lewis.  But yeah...  Pick is still Gane and I wouldn't be surprised if he finishes Tuivasa.
Gane defeat has ruined his unbeaten career in previous fights so I'm not sure Gane is better than Tuivasa, based on the review in the last fight then Tuivasa will be very dominant for next week fight, I believe Tuivasa career will get 6 wins in a row after defeating Gane. But I hope Gane can fight again with Francis because he tops the list for heavyweight championship challengers.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: August 29, 2022, 01:57:38 PM
It will not be a surprise if Haney will win again, the one that should work harder here is Kambosos because his career is just starting to get better but if he lose again, he might have to start over again, which for some boxers it will lead to early retirement.
Many people rely on Haney abilities because he is superior to Kambosos, but within 5 months of the previous boxing fight then Kambosos will train hard to improve his abilities for the second fight, maybe his coach has reviewed some records in the previous fight so Kambosos should level up. I think Kambosos is still young so even though he lost for the second time then his boxing career is still long and he has had valuable experience to become a professional boxing career.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: August 28, 2022, 09:37:10 AM
I'm thinking the same thing, Haney dominated the first match, Kambosos looked amateur on that fight, so there's no way Haney will lose in the rematch. I can't wait for a possible Loma vs Haney, so I like this fight to be over soon, and honestly, I don't expect that I would be entertain in this fight as I know already the winner.
Kambosos will improve his abilities for the second match, if we think the previous match cannot be used as the main benchmark for the second match, every fight has a different storyline such as the UFC fight the previous week between Usman vs Edward also ended differently even though Usman dominated all rounds during the fight but Edward can beat him with one hard kick in the face. The same is true for boxing fights even though they dominate but are not guaranteed to be able to hold the belt at the end of the boxing fight.
