It looked like it was very hard to made! I'm pretty sure it was. Can you please elaborate how you did it? It made me quite interesting.

[BTW it looks like, spider webs from spiderman across the spider verse  Grin ]

Thanks

I used pandas , a python library,  to organize LoyceV data. This was the most troubled part. Then I just put data into flourish studio.

Utopia Review

Installation and backup

It was straight forward to download and install Utopia in a notebook with Windows 11.
It was also easy to find the db wallet file in windows 11 (under \AppData\Roaming\Utopia\Utopia Client\db)

First time in App
The UI of the desktop App (and the website) are very beautiful imo. I like the 'retro' style.

I went to the merchant area to the website to try to find something nice to exchange my CRP for.
I took a look at some crypto exchanges, but I was affraid to be requested some kind of KYC so I gave up.

I found that cyberbtc, is offline as well. You might want to update the link and see if it works on your side.

Converting CRP to UUSD took about 1 minute, and I converted 5 CRP to 1.98 UUSD smoothly.

Crypton Exchange.

This is really amazing that we can create an account with out Utopia Public Key. That is very nice and easy.
I deposited the 1.98 UUSD (minus 0.01 fee) in my crypton account very fast.

I immediately converted UUSD to USDT. Then I saw that the minimum withdrawal for USDT was 5 USDT (which i didn't have).
It should be possible to know how much is the minimum withdrawal amount even when your balance is zero, so you can know if you can withdrawal or not.

I discovered I wasn't going to be able to withdrawal it, so I just made many small trades.
I was impressed to see all my trading orders in my Utopia Inbox App. This integration is very interesting, and if Crypton had more coins I would certainly use it again.

I wasn't able to find anything related to Github or other git platform on Utopia website. It looks like to be closed source, which is  somewhat contradictory to the philosophy of Utopia ecosystem

+1 to the bounty program, which rewards users for finding bugs. This is a good and very important step towards having a more secure ecosystem.

There is a long time I don't come here, as the market is so dull right now.

I have updated the merit network for WO thread

OP I was wondering if your lotto got all  it takes to operate as I did a search for your license. I did not see anything of that nature then what confidence do you think members here would have doing anything with your lotto.
I have no idea of this question have been asked by anybody but I am still curious to ask as well. Do you require KYC? What is the minimum age limit to take part in the lotto?
Are there restrictions for countries from taking part in the lotto game.
Please do well to answer these questions as they are very important to know.

Since we only accept btc and payout in btc- we aren't a money service company. therefore it's perfectly legal to opertate in the US, since bitcoin is not a regulated currency- and the gambling act only restricts gambling to regulated currencies, like the USD. With that said, I have incorporated offshore and will be licensed in the upcoming months. It's not cheap..
So for now the site is owned and operated under a US corporation. You must be 18+. And again, KYC only comes into play when you are tapped into the banking world, ie take cash deposits. Although, that's a gray area still.

In all honestly, it's the wild west right now. The legislation is too slow and our current laws were not ready for a globally adopted unregulated currency, like bitcoin.

Happy to see no KYC requirements here!

I recently saw a discussion on my local board where a user was asking about casinos with no KYC requirements for playing, and the list gets narrower by the day.
1685  Economy / Gambling / Re: Information of Crypto Casinos License and KYC requirements on: September 14, 2023, 06:32:51 PM
I found one more gambling platform which does not require KYC yet.

https://www.l0tt0.com/

here we can see the owner talking about it

In all honestly, it's the wild west right now. The legislation is too slow and our current laws were not ready for a globally adopted unregulated currency, like bitcoin. This is the example my lawyer gave me... If you owned a bar (in a state where gambling was illegal), you could have a slot machine that accepted gumballs, and paid out in gumballs. The machine it self isn't illegal.. But that all changes when It accepts regulated currency, ie quarters. Now.. gumballs (like btc) do have a market value... And some states do have gambling laws that go further than Federal Law, which prohibits gambling of anything of value. But as you can imagine, that's a hard law to enforce, and state AG's have bigger problems. So again, for now, I'm running it within the US, but will move it offshore and get a license soon.

A quote from my lawyer... "It's all a matter of risk and the size of your balls." (I'm quoting him, but not legally quoting him- since he told me not to. heh)

Now, what does this mean to you- the player? Nothing. You are not doing anything more illegal playing on my site than say stake. It's all about the country/state you live in. If you feel comfortable (legally) playing at other casinos, you should feel the same playing at mine.

I hope that answers your question.

I just discovered nutildah thread about merit in WO. But it is now locked.

I made this network chart about 3 years ago and didn't updated it anymore. I just updated it now with today's data (using LoyceV website data)

I just updated it, as I believe people who are looking into those merits may find it useful

You can just click any dot (user) to see who merited who, and how much they received.
1689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: sweeping a BTC private key that holds airdropped BCH? on: September 14, 2023, 09:27:22 AM
If I sweep the private key into my Electrum Bitcoin wallet, do the BCH, Bitcoin SV and other airdrops remain attached to the private key?

Your private key is one, but generating the public key from it and broadcasting the transaction in the network requires that the software used supports it. Electrum is a Bitcoin-only wallet, you will need to download Electron Cash wallet to scan BCH and spend from it.

https://electroncash.org

Perform this step after withdrawing all your Bitcoin balance.

I created this guide long ago (2018) but it still works and you can still download coinomi.

Does the CoinOmi wallet keep syncing, I thought it stopped?

It still works normally.  It doesn't get software updates anymore, since 2022.

But it still works

Quote
In 2021, Franklin Templeton launched the first "tokenised" US mutual fund as a pilot – it uses a blockchain to process transactions and record share ownership. The technology is provided by the Stellar network and Blockchain Administrator, a Delaware company. The OnChain US Government Money Fund pilot started with $1.4M of seed money and investment from employees. The automated administration can trade around the clock and removes the need for brokerages, which should result in a "highly significant decrease in fees". However, the fund actually has a high level of costs because of its small size and the fact that, as a pilot, it is maintaining traditional records in parallel.[33][34]

I have a btc wallet that received Bitcoin Cash in the 2017 hard fork.

If I sweep the private key into my Electrum Bitcoin wallet, do the BCH, Bitcoin SV and other airdrops remain attached to the private key?

Once I sweep the key into Electrum, can I then sweep the same private key into another client that supports BCH and etc?

Many thanks!

I created this guide long ago (2018) but it still works and you can still download coinomi.

This guide was created when forks still had some value, now they are all worthless,  except for bch.

Remember just to move your coins (btc) to another wallet, before claiming the bch

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3064698.0

To claim them, follow these steps:

1 - Move all your Bitcoin (BTC) to another wallet, with a different seed phrase. (Most Important Step)

2 - Download Coinomi wallet:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet

2 - In Coinomi, add these coins: Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcore, Bitcoin Atom and Bitcoin Private.

3 - In browser private mode or in a offline computer, go to this website (BIP39 Mnemonic Code):
   https://iancoleman.io/bip39/
insert you recovery phrase (Remember to move all your bitcoin from this wallet first!! Step 1)
   In Coin textbox, choose Bitcoin.
Still in BIP39 Mnemonic Code website, scroll down to Derived Address.

4 - Open your Coinomi Wallet and open each of your forked coins wallet. Click on QR Code Icon (top right corner) and scan each Private Address QR Code shown on bip39 website you just opened, until you have claimed them all.

5- Do this to every forked coin.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can sell and store crypto speacialy BTC on: September 13, 2023, 05:45:20 PM
how we can sell and parchase  crypto like BTC etc can we deposit directly into our account because in my country BTC and all others crypto is not acceptable

What do you mean by not acceptable? Is it illegal  to own bitcoin? Where do you live?

It is easier to buy bitcoin in a local exchange in your country. If there are no local exchanges,  you would have to try to buy using PayPal  or some other method. You can try here

Acho q terno cai bem pra burocratas, executivos e scammers.  Cheesy

1695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in your country. on: September 13, 2023, 02:34:22 PM
Brazil is a crypto friendly country  Grin

Although there aren't many stores which accept bitcoin yet, we have already more than 3 bitcoin ETF to buy in out stock exchange.

Bitcoin gains is also tax free below 6k usd (approximately )

There are quite few local exchanges and it is easy to buy bitcoin,  however binance dominated there market here and has about 60% of total volume in BTCBRL pair in the country

Overall,  nice place to invest and own crypto.

Bitcoin made things easier when traveling abroad, as it is now easier to send money our of the country

1698  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another reason and proof that you should store your wallet in an exchange on: September 13, 2023, 02:27:00 AM
Although this has not happen to our exchange where we put our funds for a long time, this should prove that its not safe to be there for months or years, you have to secure your money, or tokens/coins to your hardware wallet, or electrum wallet etc since you have full control unlike CEX.
Earlier there is a news that Coinex have been hack, where the hacker transfer and drain the wallet, with ETH, Polygon, Tron etc, i think this is the first time this exchange has been hack, i say i have coins there but no value, but if you have lots of eth and others thats is a major concern, since we don't know if they can refund the loses.
so to be safe store your bitcoin and other coins to safe wallet, like hardware wallet etc.
this is the link of the news :https://cointelegraph.com/news/coinex-crypto-exchange-suspected-hacked-crypto-moved

Your post title is misleading and wrong

You wrote "store your wallet in an exchange", which is wrong and don't make sense.

You should use "store your funds in your wallet,  not in an exchange."

Cheesy
