I also don't think this is really needed, however I suggest you to lock the thread (to prevent the spam).
1722  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info on: October 13, 2015, 09:59:36 PM
blockchain.info does not send sms verification to my mobile phone number despite my several attempt, is this a general problem or peculiar to me alone?
Any help shall be appreciated.

Look, I don't want to sound too harsh, but you should think about abandoning blockchain.info wallet. First of all this is an online wallet, and you shouldn't be using online wallets. But it's you insist on using an online wallet, then you have chosen the worst one.

Blockchain.info is by far the buggiest wallet out there. All the time some kind of problems. Just take a look through this begginers&help thread to see how many threads are about the blockchain wallet. Just ditch it and change for something else!

Cheers!
I can understand that but which option is better because i have heard of many desktop bitcoin client been hacked.

If you insist to use an online web wallet, then i would suggest coinbase.
Or blocktrail.com which seems better in security and the private key.
Coinbase has a good popularity but they do not provide you the private key.
Here is a thread to check which is the best: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1163283.0

Or also he can use GreenAddress, for more info this is the official thread:

1726  Other / Meta / Re: Just remove signatures already. As in delete, disable, gone. on: October 11, 2015, 04:36:17 PM
But marcotheminer has exposed a logical point of view, if a lot of signature campaign will be banned the number of visits and posts will decrease (automatically). However, I don't think the most important thing here is the internal forum ads revenue.
Which is of pretty low importance. The number of anything is useless if it is of very low quality. BTCT should be a place of full of excellent discussions, not a place full of random posts.

I hope the number of useless and spammy will decrease, but without an interview of the admin I don't think the things will change.

From this viewpoint, the quality of content on BTCT has heavily degraded over time because of various reasons.

I agree with you, the sig campaigns are in the first place of the reason list (or at least them are the primary cause).
1727  Other / Meta / Re: Just remove signatures already. As in delete, disable, gone. on: October 11, 2015, 04:24:54 PM
I completely agree and I've said the same thing in the past.

Signature campaigns lead to more ad views which translates into more revenue for theymos. Ban the signature campaigns and views (aswell as posts) will drop (undoubtably by a huge amount) and ad revenue will suffer.
So the most important thing here is profit? When did this forum become a corporation?

Another alternative, keep signatures and ban signature campaigns with strict punishments if someone does deals in private.

1728  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: COINICHIWA = SCAM!?!? on: October 11, 2015, 04:21:33 PM
Turned scam mode or no? Lots of bugs and shit. I lost over 4 BTC thanks to the betting bug.

https://gyazo.com/d62bd37c7d74f192850a605bb0646010

Now they're not sending out withdrawals.

http://coinichiwa.com = scam?

Can you elaborate more or explain what do you mean with 'betting bug'?

For the withdrawal problem it is because the online wallet doesn't have the necessary fund (but I'm not sure)

Neither codishmumu or PrinceOfTea have signatures. They're just trolls doing what trolls do.

PrinceOfTea has been perma-banned, hasn't he?

I think that he was banned :

1733  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bter - Scam or Incompetence on: October 11, 2015, 09:43:33 AM
Please, guys. Don't use this fuckin exchange. They're more than known for fuckin people over, manipulating ICOs and earning a golden butt with the money of their customers. You should really, really avoid them at all cost, and consider any money sent there as lost.

They're the worst exchange ever. I'd better trade at Mt.Gox than do any deposit to their wallets.
They are stealing your money, and as soon as some public awareness arises, they claim their exchange was hacked, wait a month or two and start over. And over. And over.

They're not just incompetent, they're criminals, and they're hiding their criminal activities behind incompetence.

Don't fuckin use them. There is no sane reason to ever do so. Never ever.

Yes, check this thread (about the old hack of more then 7'000 btc) :

I also don't suggest to use bter.com as exchange!
1734  Other / Meta / Re: Anmol_Verma making very low quality posts on: October 11, 2015, 09:01:06 AM
Typical yobit spammer making his 20 posts a day. Something really needs to be done about that campaign (as well as secondstrade).

Surprisingly I just found out that Yobit campaign pays for posts in off topics no wonder why majority of his posts are associated there with little to no effort at all and still gets payment for those and as to the user itself, I do agree with Quickseller that actions should be taken towards this user as his posts (Most of them) are no contribution to the forums

They pay for much worse than what this guy is doing too. Make 20 one word posts in if topic or posting in daily giveaways and you'll still get paid the same and of course usually yobit members don't just have one account but several doing the same every day and the issue snowballs from there.

News from you (I meant all the bitcointalk staff)? Have you intention to do something or not?
