Here the hourly shows nicely above the support levels (I imported the support levels from the earlier daily candles yellow zones)

OK then as promised some chart action.

I have started to learn some stuff about charts so lets see what evolves as I learn more.

Here is the daily candles for XMR - With some resistance and some support zones coloured in yellow.

The daily candle has to close before you can see if a resistance or support is breached.

One of my relatives (41 years of age) just died in New York of COVID19.

Fuck man, 41 years and old don't go together.

We lost a few sexy young nurses, they weren't old and frail or obese or anything.

Selfishly I am worried, falling in an at risk group and with a young family.

Its also a bit sad to see the little ones now going round talking about "the virus" all fear they have overheard and detected.
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 05, 2020, 11:29:30 AM

Oh Phishead you excited me and I wasn't disappointed to open bitcoin wisdom and see an 008 price.

Woo hoo to that.

ill do some charting later when I have time. Off to Paris for the afternoon a spot of luncheon.

Football was cancelled for a few years during the world war, as in, totally cancelled, for both world wars. No one played as everyone was busy fighting or surviving.

I understand that but there’s a bit of a difference in severity between a world war & what is essentially a bad strain of flu that only seems to mostly affect older people.

Here’s a stat detailing the ages of those who have died in the UK -

Hopefully we can get back to normal in a month or so, I’m getting football withdrawal symptoms already.

I had a daydream that there was suddenly an vaccine, how quickly could things get spun back up then?

I think a few weeks. So a long wait it out or sudden unjam seems like 2 possibilities. Unjam would be cool.

Bro I know you'd like to be standing on the terrace today rather than stuck home *fingers crossed*.

Thankyou and sorry to cause trouble.

I am a gambler and I spent 0.7 real bitcoin in freebitcoi.in and endless hours hopelessly flipping my freerolls into BTC or the inevitable bust. lol

Covid is ruining everything right now that sucks. The thread I commented on was devolving to spam that's all.

I wish everyone well

Shout out to homer, too...

One thing that might arguably be better than a virtual condom in times like these is a good virtual mask (or two)

protect my lil online persona.. aka bottie.   Wink

Good evening all,

All this negative.  Tell us some good stories.

What are people planning to do with their half of the bitcoins after the halving?

NY city morgues at capacity.
https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/25/dhs-briefing-nyc-morgues-near-capacity-148259
... snake bites. (or SARS-infused ferret bites?)

A report from Madrid where they commandeered an ice-rink (currently not used). Do they simply stack the bodies, literally "on ice",until they can catch up with funerals, cremations, autopsies, etc? Thought that was highly creative, if a little morbid.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/03/spain-makeshift-ice-rink-morgue-takes-delivery-corpses-200324115155671.html

Authorities said on Monday facilities could not cope and agreed to transform the Palacio de Hielo mall, home to an Olympic-sized ice rink, into a morgue.

Footage from Reuters TV showed vehicles at the building cordoned off by police officers in masks.

I think that qualifies for the funeral home share app prize winner.

It may sound weird at first, but it makes sense. In lack of a better solution, NYC has the rink at Rockefeller Center and probably many others across all the state.

Also, instead of building an hospital from scratch like Wuhan did in 10 days. Madrid just repurposed IFEMA Convention Center into a 5000+ bed Hospital in just 2 days:

https://elpais.com/elpais/2020/03/22/album/1584868312_266377.html

That is just one of MANY pavillions of the complex. Also the repurposed rink morgue is very close to it.

On other news, Mexico's President is completely nuts. In a hilarious video staged on some kind of restaurant he encouraged their citizens to go out and socialice even more than ever... because it is good for the economy.

Quote
“Don’t stop going out—we’re still only in phase one,” López Obrador said. “If you have the means to do it, continue taking your family out to restaurants and diners. That’s what will strengthen the economy.”

(In original Spanish it sounds much more encouraging... and hilarious)

Maybe he is a Slayer relative?

Work says "don't worry we can pay everyone for March"

That's only 1 week more, very reassuring.

Orderbook is emptying for all businesses. I fear redundancies pretty quickly.
