1142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 27, 2020, 07:56:28 PM
2 players could be fine as long as it is not one of the major ones.

That is too subjective. It can only be 2 players. No "its the best" player

Well we have broken through my magic line.

But still well within the range, above support below resistance.

RSI turning upward,  puuuuuushhshhhhhhh!

skipping -1.5 handicaps moving forward

I have been betting more conservatively on the +1.5 versions, thinking anyone can grab a map here or there.

But in that time you have done quite well with the -1.5 and have had me beat several times.

Either direction the handicap thing doesn't leave any room for a wiggle in a 3 game match.

Is only a relatively recent addition.

One click gambling is very risky. There should be a confirmation click to make sure the bet as well as the amount you placed are reviewed before you finally submit it. This feature is almost a must.

As far as I know, most casinos have extra confirmation when you go 'all in'. At least the more popular ones have it. I agree, this is a must because it can easily happen that you accidentally click on the max bet.

I find that extra click extra annoying because I am an all in kind of guy. I go for about 3 or 4 all ins after I get to 3kish if you hit it then I start a more elegant system from there

I have just three words for you: change your cook! Grin

I read this as "change your cock!"

Reminds me of a Twitter thread I came across today, where some dude was talking about building sex robots, and was frustrated with the lack of standards, for "connector hardware".

Believe it or not, it turns out some enterprising sex toy designers had the bright idea to use 3-pin audio XLR M/F connectors to establish a lock in with swappable, uhh, parts.

My Twitter feed is a very VERY strange place. Rick gets a kick out of some of the crazy shit on my feed. Most of it doesn't make it to Facebook or Instagram.

Ill get right to it. Inventing the Universal Serial Butt connector

Blah blah blah you are not Satoshi. Stop talking on his behalf.

1152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So it looks like Cobra is planning on passing on the Bitcoin.org domain on: May 25, 2020, 07:43:00 PM
and who made you the judge of it all? what's right or wrong?

Truth even? is a nominalisation.

Satoshi allowed for an evolution. Why would anyone want it to be set in concrete?

Almost all good software is built with iterations and continual improvement.

Are people arguing for mud huts? its what the original humans wanted. Screw your central heating and internet connection!

No response needed

It's all written down on the court docs...

Funny nobody does PoW and go finds it out

This is your map of the world not everyone elses

Of course I have sympathy for our fallen ex-member mindrust who has gone back 5 years in his understanding of bitcoin

I wouldn't have, he probably never had the coins he claimed. Just trolled you all to the max.

Now revealed, he is left with much weaker trolling in the BS sections and good riddance.
1155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So it looks like Cobra is planning on passing on the Bitcoin.org domain on: May 25, 2020, 07:32:10 PM
What a bunch of numpties.

My sentiment is and has always remained, if your other thing is so much better why do you need to use the name and website of an existing project? riding on its coat tails and feigning ownership?

If your alternative project is so good? call it cheese coin or Mega coin or whatever tf you want.

But no you all want something from bitcoin, a free lunch.

I am full in Monero, it is not a clone of bitcoin it stands on its own technology and has its own name. That is an honourable project.

You people lying and deceiving new arrivers to the scene with your "this the true bitcoin", just see bitcoin.org it says so are likely to be the ones to unravel and destroy it all. The biggest lie of all? its what satoshi would have wanted. You cant know that unless you are satoshi and lets face it he was far more classy than that.

If it all goes to zero? then you all deserve it. REAP WHAT YOU SOW!

In that case Ill have a double cheeseburger thanks.

Look, I can kind of understand why BCH has some support. I think it's stupid, but I can see it.

But why the fuck would anyone continue to think faktoshi and BSV has any validity what-so-ever. He clearly has no idea what he is talking about. He had to plagiarise his phD, despite going to pretty much the worst University in Australia. He has been caught lying 987,392 987,393 times. He is a state loving boot licker. WTF is going on in these people's heads.

BSV is closer to old school, pre-segwit Bitcoin than BCH, aside from blocksize. BSV has an unlimited blocksize, while BCH is limited to 8mb blocks. Out of the two I'd prefer BSV.

Which would you prefer out of drinking strychnine or drinking arsenic?

Can CW please crawl into the nearest cave & die now. What’s paedo Ayre got to say about this latest debacle?
We’re sub $9,000 again but our time in the sun will come, we’re just kinda floating through the days, waiting for the inevitable catalyst to start the bull run for real. Continue to stack stats girls, the current cheap price won’t be around forever.

He said those addresses were from the "possible list" the real list came later and is not public.

1158  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: May 25, 2020, 03:20:02 PM
The earlier "possible list"  WTH that's so funny.

So now they are saying the first list was addresses I might own.

Later replaced with a newer list.

Reminded me back a while on here someone was trying to buy old addresses.  Hmmmm

Hey didn't want to leave you hanging. Wasn't trying to tell you off.

Hey no worries I just used that turn of phrase  Smiley

I could have said brought to my attention or alerted me.

Thanks for explaining.
