Don't wish that on me bro    Sad

1482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 01, 2020, 08:11:23 AM
I think you can look at it 2 ways.

Pessimistic = no chance no way no safety no hope

Optimistic = I am standing with 200 people at the supermarket. Have been for a month. We aren't all dead yet.

If people in Tesco's and Walmart can still have to go to work with each other everyday and be around the PUBLIC MASSES then I am sure there is a way they can test 30 people and have a fairly well controlled situation.

For me the problem arises if they make a focal point for fans to gather around. Like in pubs before (now it would round a friends with Sky or something)

That's why they need to be free to air, to discourage a premiere restart party around peoples houses.

TV is running out of shows they can make about Covid19 and its affect on X or Y
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: May 01, 2020, 08:05:28 AM
Here is the trailer video for that game.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzFdoqb1Bm0

Monero is pretty prominent there.

Its in like the first screen. That seems like some great PR. We didn't have much lately.

Good luck, I will be keeping an eye on it.

Thanks for including the number one fungible privacy coin.

1484  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk SwC Championship Poker Series(50 mBtc added by SwC) on: May 01, 2020, 07:59:49 AM
Just as well I spent 2 days getting my ass handed to me on the no rake table.

I was optimistic but now I wonder if I learned anything.    Smiley

My idea was to earn the fee.. *Error*

Thanks your ANN thread says you give credits in game for later use with in game purchases to help devs avoid hassles like paypal.

Does that mean you will be able to cash out, or is it just currency that will be transferrable across multiple games (the platform)
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: May 01, 2020, 07:44:16 AM
. Haven't they heard nor read what happened to those players that did match fixing way back years ago?

Sorry we are going off topic but this sounds ominous. Did it turn physical? like something happened to them?
1487  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: May 01, 2020, 07:39:49 AM
If you drop to a lower stack (e.g. you only have 15-20 big blinds left) your range of playable hands gets smaller and smaller. You should switch to a "push or fold style" with that kind of a small stack.

push/fold at 15-20 big blinds is overkill IMO.

even when i'm legit short-stacked (like 8-10 big blinds), i like to mix in stop-and-gos rather than just open shoves.

Thanks for the link, Ill have a read of that today.

Are there any hotkeys in SwC? Im always scrambling for the mouse? like F1 = fold or something.

I played before somewhere and that was an option

Maybe its a suggestion I can make to their Devs if they put F1 F2 F3 on the buttons so you can see it you can just use keyboard then (mostly)

1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 01, 2020, 07:30:43 AM
See there is a "project restart"

Quote
But with the English top-flight facing an eye-watering estimated loss of £1 billion ($1.25 billion) if no more football is played, there is a huge incentive to play the 92 remaining games if feasible.

The Premier League also appears to have the support of the government in Britain, which now has the third-highest death toll in the world from COVID-19.

Speaking in parliament last week, Oliver Dowden, Britain's Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Secretary, said he had been in talks with league chiefs over getting football up and running again.

and there's the money too.

My friend is reliable to me and not a guy from the internet Wink (although I accept your point that's all I am)  if his friend is told they will be going back to train/work I trust him. Also I still said things change.
1491  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk SwC Championship Poker Series(50 mBtc added by SwC) on: May 01, 2020, 07:15:15 AM
Thanks for the pw bro I already got it and registered too. So it will only have one winner, am I reading that right?

that's because there are only 3 people registered. the payout structure will smooth out as more people join. i assume the top 4 or 5 will be paid.

Thanks I have registered now. Its up to 5 players with 2 places already.

Do I need to send chips to somebody again this week? it didnt charge me anything to register.

*edit* good luck in the big final. I found out how to open a specific table now so I can watch the finale* (like in the above linked video)    *assuming the kids will play ball */edit*

I have just sent out Sunday's password via PM - please hit me up in case I missed you!

I think you missed me.
1493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: April 30, 2020, 12:52:32 PM

It seems most of the recent matches have a 2-1 score. Did the recent patches cause this?

If that's true it might be a way to earn some wins out of it.

Over 2 played or something.

Im going to have a look at the odds
1494  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: April 30, 2020, 12:49:30 PM
Im trying to see some cards before I fold. But the NL bit doesn't help because of bullies

What do you mean Globb0 ?

The new spreadsheet. I just see this. If you know a position you finished you can work it out. I cant remember I was about 14th or maybe 17th? doing well until I exploded in flames   Cheesy

1496  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: April 30, 2020, 10:43:49 AM

For our Championship series newbies are perfectly OK. Especially, if SwC is cheeking for alt accounts and it seems you guys had some info regarding that.

And since we have some good players among the newbies, ceehe and Jmac1551, as was mentioned above, I absolutely don't mind them playing.

Im one of those newbies and it was harsh sometimes. But I feel like its a learning opportunity with you guys being more pro but also not minding to chat and explain something or give advice.

On a side note I was lucky enough to take the 9th place in the yesterday's 40 mBTC Freeroll on Sportsbet. Smiley

Don't know about you guys, but when I read "My place 9th of 149"

no matter the money, it makes me feel good. Smiley

Cool. I won a freeroll on SwC though it was just silly I still felt the rush at the final table. I was like don't F this up G. hehe

Find a mirror bro, for your own good.

I apologise for my emotional outburst.

1498  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 30, 2020, 10:12:16 AM

Don't worry, you can think of a good conspiracy to blame on why millions didn't die and we aren't even halfway to the amount of deaths of a good flu season.  Roll Eyes

Oh fuck off you cunt You have hurt my vagina with your obvious and true observations, damn you!

Sorry buddy. You will be ok, just stop shorting.  Wink

No. You disrespect the memory of friends lost.

1500  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 30, 2020, 09:42:07 AM
UK just had the worst week for extra deaths since the Hong Kong 'flu of winter 1970.
Friends, relatives, colleagues, young and old, all dead without a chance to say goodbye.
It's a sad business.

and then I have to come here and see twats gloating over the numbers of dead or not

FS burn the lot of you!
