Had a hard time answering economic related concepts especially about the currency debasement and tax concepts. The questions that requires a specific percentage is also quite difficult for me.. but yeah I think I've done a good job for a surprise quiz. Grin

want to know how to become DT member.
There is an official post[1] by theymos regarding on how DT (Default Trust) works. But in a nutshell, you just basically need to become active, achieve a specific rank, and get trusted by other members by listing your username on their trust list[2]

But looking at your rank, I think you should not be worrying about getting into DT because your primary objective should be on educating yourself about bitcoin in general and how you can properly take advantage this forum for learning purposes. Earning will come once you are comfortable in this space.

1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ASA to host gambling advertising webinar on: September 25, 2021, 02:53:16 PM
Why not, if the seminar will educate gambling operators on how to display their banners/advertisements on social media or other sites.

The question is, how can these entities (ASA) monitor gambling operators' publicized advertisements to ensure that they are abiding by the rules? How will they restrict gambling operators if they are not following? Because it seems that this is just an attempt to educate and not to enforce strict policies with corresponding lawsuit or anything..similar..

@Peanutswar

Kumbaga mga leaks when it comes to their scaling solution from hiring blockahin developers, organizing PR teams etc...

1745  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Do I Set Candlestick Pattern On Tradingview? on: September 24, 2021, 04:54:38 PM
Thank, not working on my account though
Try downloading their official desktop application[1] and log in your account to see if anything changes. I am not sure why it isn't working because using candlestick is the most basic setting that you can find on the website version.

Or perhaps you are looking for a different candlestick indicator similar to this one?

How do I use candlestick pattern indicators?
To add candle pattern indicators to the chart, go ahead and open Indicators and Strategies menu. From there, go to the Candlestick Patterns tab to see a list of all indicators currently available in this category. Select which pattern indicators you’d like to use from there.

The best and most working strategy is the one that you created. Because it will contain exactly your parameters, such as psychology, market vision, comfortable trading and other aspects.
Thanks for the read @Ratimov. Just an honest question, though.

How exactly do we develop an effective trading strategy? I mean, I am aware that many people suggest newbie traders to develop their own trading strategy that they can use based on their lifestyle, but I have never heard or read such guides on how to develop a strategy.

Is there a formula that a person can use as a guide to create his own? What are the specific parameters that we must consider when developing a strategy?

Is there a required size that we must use in our artworks, or we can use custom sizes?
None. You're fine as long as you incorporate Mr. Roo or the Roobet's logo that is based on a specific theme.

I've seen a lot of members who participated in the previous roobet art competition submit murals, which are usually large, while others submitted handicrafts of various sizes. So sizes are not issues.

Looking back when YOLOdice was still in operation, I recall one occasion when I gambled my entire two-week signature campaign payment on a dice game, and fortunately, I was able to at least double the amount.

At the time, I thought that dice game could be something I could always milk for money every day because it's too simple to just pick a bet amount and a multiplier that even a child could do. And although it requires no technical skills, make sure that you at least know a basic bankroll management before playing.

Hey! folks

Just wanna share a good read regarding Axie Infinity para at least ma-lessen yung anxiousness ninyo dahil sa pagbaba ng SLP. And yeah, to be honest mapapaisip ka talaga kapag sobrang daming FUD sa community and legit na masusubok yung sanity mo especially if everyone are afraid with their investment that is on the brink of collapse...

This is really very cool and user friend in PC (did not try yet in phone) .
Just tried accessing their website using Android phone and it seems like there is a visual bug on their header. If the orientation of your screen is in portrait mode, you can see that only the letter "Y" appears on the header and the hamburger menu is missing.

I have a 6.53 inches display. But so far the GUI is great, except to those points I have previously mentioned.

Just to add, Andreas Antonopolous also has a podcast called Speaking Bitcoin[1] and Unscrypted Podcast[2]. I am listening to them every night before going to sleep, although the Unscrypted podcast is a little out of date (the last upload was in July of last year), but still you have the freedom to backtrack each episode per night.. 1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: More women addicting problem in UK on: September 21, 2021, 02:56:49 PM
...snip
The way the media portrays things, some might even believe that gambling addiction is the biggest problem the homeless and those living in poverty face. It is a perspective far removed from reality.
Because it's a business. And I believe that the reason that many of the articles do not address more serious issues is that doing so appears to be a bit boring for some people, which may lead to a decline in ratings boost. They are only interested in content that will catch people's attention, which is terrible.

Instead, they publish articles about statistics of addicted female gamblers, which I believe are useless in some ways and do not add up to solving real-world problems.

Duh... it's a human nature.
1753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Losses in trading are nothing but Business expenses on: September 21, 2021, 01:36:36 PM
However, if you live in a country where these gains are not taxable, you won't get tax relief for any losses.
Can you please clarify this to me like I am five?

If I understood it correctly, a "tax relief" is technically a cash back for losses that you have committed during that particulat year of trading and that cashback is deducted from the previous years of your trading career where you have paid capital gains?

So if ever there I have lost during this year, that loss can be carried back from the tax I have paid the previous years?
1754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best way to prevent investors from losses is to Rebrand Projects - How? on: September 21, 2021, 01:08:27 PM
Many projects are abandoned due to lack of team, Sometimes there are chances of scams, such as cover protocol and many other
Wait! What's the purpose of re-branding if the project has a history of scam and fraudulent activities? That's kinda pointless to revive a dead project where they have previously lost the interest of their investors even if you'll say that they a different set of people managing and maintaining a project..
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impact of underage gambling? on: September 20, 2021, 03:46:37 PM
What is the best age a kid should get involve in online crypto gambling and what is your recommendation for that?
In US, the legal age to gamble is between 18-21 years old[1] but that doesn't mean that everyone within that bracket range is recommended to gamble. The things is, most of them isn't financially educated, which makes them unaware of the underlying risks involved.

Also, as @julerz12 have said, there are lots of opportunities to earn money in cryptospace and it isn't limited to just gambling. At an age of 18 and above, I am sure that they have an interest on technical side of things in crypto, and it could be coding, engineering, or even NFT's that involves digital drawing skills.

After that, smooth naman yung experience up until now.

1757  Other / Meta / Re: Conversion from Self-Mod to normal thread on: September 19, 2021, 06:54:20 AM
This rule also applies to your issue.

In most sections, you now have the option of marking topics self-moderated when creating them. In self-moderated topics, the OP can delete replies. The option for enabling this is under "additional options". Topics cannot be converted to self-moderated topics after creation.

If you think that the thread you have created is a mistake, you can just report your own thread and note to moderator to delete it.

ano ang Blue wallet kabayan?
...snip...

[1] https://electrum.org/#download
[2] https://bitzuma.com/posts/how-to-verify-an-electrum-download-on-windows/

Kasa sa electrum, pwede mong i adjust, so curious lang ako.
Yup, pwedeng pwede.
1759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I the only one having this feeling?🤔🤔 ( #Bitcoin ) on: September 19, 2021, 05:56:04 AM
Without bitcoin, I won't be able to afford a new PC desktop, and I might be forced to use a low-spec computer that can't run most of the applications required in the engineering field, especially now that we're in the midst of a pandemic.

Or there is a greater chance that I will not be able to continue my education because most provinces here are in a state of lockdown, which prevents employment and leaves my parents without income...in short I am just a student who is just too broke...
1760  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance decreased withdrawal limits for basic verified users. on: September 19, 2021, 05:13:13 AM
Okay so if you are verified... you are either verified or intermediate verified?  Which is higher then?
After you have created your account, uploaded the ID's required, finished setting up the 2FA as well as the facial recognition; After a few minutes, you'll see your account have an "Intermediate verified".

Take note that an account that is verified is also equal to an intermediate level verified account just to avoid any confusion. And I am not sure why Binance have changed it from 3 levels into 2.
