1741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the first success story on: March 19, 2023, 05:59:46 AM
Alright just make it simple, just post your Bitcoin address and sign a message to prove your ownership, otherwise you're lying and not telling the truth. The recent dump was at March 10, 2023 and November 10, 2022 - Early January, 2023, so must be bought Bitcoin at those date where Bitcoin was declining.

There's no any rumor or news about the upcoming Bitcoin adoption, I think everyone also surprised to see Bitcoin price suddenly increase since it's unpredictable.

I am fed up with this kind of stories, which are a blatant attempt at merit fishing. When they are accompanied by evidence, like photos or screenshots, I can believe them, but not the kind of story the OP tells, unless it is accompanied by a signed message to back it up, as you say. In a Spanish forum that I visit, not signing a message to prove what he says could lead to a massive report and a ban, although in this one, which is so tough for certain things, this doesn't happen. This is with some exception, as the OP could claim that he has the bitcoins on Coinbase or some similar site and cannot sign a message.

Let's let his words be believed. I checked his posting history. The OP is a big fan of bounty reports. Also, a pastry chef Grin. But one post, which was at the end of 2022, suggests that he might still have bought a little.

I thought I would buy 1 bitcoin and save it for 2 years.  Because I know Bitcoin's past, what Bitcoin once was and what it is now.  I know the current market situation is bad so I want to take advantage of this bad time for Bitcoin.  I have faith that I will succeed.  So those who thought of buying Bitcoin quickly bought it.  Hope we all write a success story together.

There are a lot of storytellers on the forum, but maybe for the OP, the few dollars he was able to win are the perfect profit. And I do not see the need for him to prove something; no one here owes anything to anyone. Smiley
1742  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of artificial intelligence, chat GPT on the crypto market. on: March 19, 2023, 05:01:10 AM
GPT was invented by people; does anyone think that AI will one day be able to win over the mind of a person? If someone has created a smart GPT chat, then there is sure to be another who can be smarter. And it will be a person. Machines should serve people, not the other way around. It is a mistake to think that one day people will be able to entrust everything to machines. There are already two different opinions about the usefulness of GPT. And besides his unique abilities, there are a bunch of bugs that he can't get around.
1743  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can end poverty? In a nation today on: March 19, 2023, 04:48:12 AM
For Bitcoin to lift people out of poverty, they must invest in it. You must understand that poor people live one day; it is important for them to feed their families. How can they have extra money?
Nevertheless, Bitcoin can motivate people to educate themselves and agree that you cannot enter any industry without experience. If people begin to take better care of their lives, value time, and learn new technologies, they may have a chance to escape poverty. But it always depends on the person himself and not on Bitcoin.

The use of Practical Proof of Stake (PPoS) algorithm as a consensus protocol for the Coremultichain project is a good choice, as it provides scalability, security, and decentralization. PPoS algorithm allows for faster transaction times, lower fees, and more secure networks than traditional Proof of Work (PoW) algorithms. It also allows for more decentralized networks, making it a suitable choice for blockchain projects. The links provided can be useful for anyone interested in learning more about Coremultichain project and its implementation.

Bitcoin mining, which is necessary to validate transactions on the blockchain, requires significant amounts of energy. Critics argue that the energy consumption associated with Bitcoin is unsustainable and contributes to climate change.

what do you think?

I think The value of Bitcoin is highly volatile, and its price can fluctuate significantly in a short period of time. This makes it a risky investment, and some experts warn that the cryptocurrency may be in a speculative bubble.

1745  Economy / Economics / Re: Is risky to invest this period on: March 18, 2023, 10:47:34 AM
I am more than sure that not only is the OP not investing his money in Bitcoin, he simply does not have the opportunity to do so. And out of resentment at everyone, because he does not succeed, he draws such conclusions. Follow his posts, somewhat deleted; as a newbie, he tries to create an account for himself, but everything does not go as he wants. I know that this is not his first account; several accounts are already banned, but he categorically does not want to study and continues to whine and create stupid topics.
OP, start reading the forum finally and understand one thing: bitcoin has a future, and while you are crying, people are gaining knowledge.
1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when new altcoins encourage religious, political and other agendas? on: March 17, 2023, 11:34:23 AM
Any new altcoins bearing the idea of any religion should already be defined as a scam. The thirst for profit, which is exactly what overcomes the developers of these projects, already denies the principles of any religion.
Many such coins have been created in history; can you check where they are now? Are there any successful examples? Gathering followers in one direction or another around you is a bad idea. And I don't think that believers can become investors in such crap. Although today's madness of the whole world with the denial of everything previously stable will find followers
1747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The journey of successful business man who were professional gamblers on: March 17, 2023, 11:18:09 AM
I'm not a player, and it's hard for me to talk specifically about professionalism. Although I agree that experience is professionalism, I am more inclined to admire the luck of those who once hit a big jackpot. But is it possible to get it regularly? How many people lose their money every day, risking everything for a lucky chance? Win all the time? For me, it's mystical.
I think everything is connected here; people who know how to correctly assess the chances of success and make a bet also have an excellent analytical mind, having created a successful business for themselves.
1748  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Somethings are unique and different Royse777 did today. on: March 17, 2023, 10:16:42 AM
I think that Royse777 was also wise in that, in addition to his projects, which he manages, he got the opportunity to invite the best posters from the forum to his company. Knowing the manager's attitude towards high-quality posts, Royse777 will kill two birds with one stone: get people who cannot be blamed for poor-quality postings and increase the project's advertising.
1749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a Morning Routine have any Effect as a Day Trader? on: March 17, 2023, 06:05:07 AM
I can say that having small children, the morning routine, as the OP puts it, becomes a habit or an obligatory action. Children will never let you relax; it is they who must live according to the regime that their parents create for them and themselves. After doing all the morning routines and understanding that the first things for the morning are done, it's always great to concentrate on other things to have time to finish some on time and take on others.
1750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Being drunk while trading what was your experience on: March 17, 2023, 05:53:20 AM
If you are confident in your actions, what prevents you from trading after drinking some alcohol? There is an expression that you can't drink skill away. By owning their psychological state, namely being in a state of euphoria, some traders sometimes manage to make the right decisions, but you cannot talk about this as a sustainable behavior. I think that even experienced traders themselves are well aware that successful trading requires discipline, adhering to which a trading plan with competent trading risk management will allow you to avoid making emotional decisions that can lead to losses.
1751  Other / Off-topic / Re: A burden I bear within. on: March 16, 2023, 02:22:05 PM
Adult children someday fly out of the nest. If I were you, I would go my own way; everyone should have their own way. Until you achieve significant results in Bitcoin, all your good intentions will do nothing for your brothers and have no value. People want to see proof; moreover, if you are now in a bad relationship and tell them to invest in bitcoin, which is a very risky asset, and if your ideas do not go the right way, you will quarrel with your brothers even more.
Let people decide their own fates so as not to blame you for the future.
1752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan for investment can be life threatening on: March 16, 2023, 12:51:21 PM
I can tell you in advance that your uncle will screw up his investment in meme coins, lose everything, and then what? That's when he will come to you for help, saying that you are his relative and that close people should help each other.
If I were you, I would act the same way as you. Don't give anyone free advice when they don't even want to listen. But there is no need to rush to help such people either. We each live our own lives; those who do not listen to others should learn from their mistakes.
1753  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism vs AI Posting on: March 16, 2023, 12:24:53 PM
As far as I understood from the decisions of the moderators, some accounts that published posts from the chatbot were deleted, and users who were completely new had their accounts destroyed. Other accounts weren't banned; they just had their AI posts removed. I can assume that those accounts that were not banned still received a temporary ban. At least, I don't see them active yet.
I agree with hilariousandco recent post that it takes time to consider a decision on AI posts; however, such posts should be reported so as not to turn the forum into a society of robots.

Yes, please do, though obviously they will need a little more verification so might not get handled straight away. It's probably going to get out of hand fast with these issues now. Personally, I think it might be wise to look into disabling sigs on all new users/lower ranks until people have earned the right to have one through acquiring a large amount of merit.
1754  Other / Meta / Re: OgNasty is hacked!! on: March 15, 2023, 03:08:35 PM
Cheating in the pie contest and tagged. Now trying to call out a user for changing his password. What's next? It's perfectly fine for users to change their passwords from time to time. In fact, it's actually probably encouraged to do so to protect your account.

He's a pretty lazy and cunning guy. I first noticed him in the knowledge quiz forum, where he tried to get merit twice because GazetaBitcoin created a very convenient topic for getting merit.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5381367.msg61869752#msg61869752

Today's topic is that he is looking for places where he can get a couple of merits and create a scandal. You can guess that he is not a beginner, since he so deftly grasps where you can get easy merit. The negative tag, I think, will only create a reason for the birth of a new profile of this liar.
1755  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is ageing and old people part of bitcoin? on: March 15, 2023, 12:09:36 PM
People tend to deny what they don't understand. It is not surprising that many older people, having received a lot of negative news from the media, namely from television, will have a negative attitude towards the Internet and directly to bitcoin and everything related to it.
But to say that all older people are not ready for knowledge is very wrong. Here on the forum, I know several people who are quite advanced in age, and their knowledge can compete with the knowledge of young people.
Therefore, I think we cannot say that bitcoin has some kind of age limit. It is available at any age, moreover, older people can insure their money by investing in it, which in the future can help them provide for their old age.
1756  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are they up to? on: March 15, 2023, 07:16:33 AM
It would be a problem for me to find out how these people got access to your contacts. I'm probably very careful, but I never received a message from strangers. In any case, whatever they come up with, these people are looking for their own benefit, whether you need to understand their problems, this is only your choice. Get past these emails by blocking senders and realizing that no one will ever send a website with a "money" button.

You can also quote the post to see what's behind the link. I don't think this is a big problem for people who have been online for a long time. Beginners, and especially curious beginners, will have to go through the path firsthand.
1758  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/paste) here. Mods: please give temp or permban as needed on: March 15, 2023, 05:11:26 AM

Yeah. Nuked.

If so, check out this poster. This is also the work of a chatbot, and I think no one will have any doubts. I reported his posts, but he was left Unhandled, despite the fact that several other similar posts were safely deleted.
Should we report users whose posts clearly look like the work of a chat machine?
Maybe create a topic for a general review of such accounts if the moderators have doubts that the posts are not written by a person.
At the moment, I have unprocessed posts from:

1759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "UNLOCKING THE POWER OF MERITS: STRATEGIES FOR GROWING YOUR ACCOUNT" on: March 14, 2023, 08:07:30 AM
I am not sure why you have a two year break from 2021 to 2023 and when come back, you made this topic.

ChatGPT can answer a question "How to earn merit?"

Merit & new rank requirements and Welcome message has good words to learn about that too.

If you search, you will surely find many topics about it and this topic is unnecessary.

Probably due to the fact that several of his alternative accounts were recently destroyed for using ChatGPT.
Another thing is the outrage that these stupid robots begin to write various crap about the life of the forum, while other equally stupid users copy all this nonsense in the hope of getting at least one merit.
OP, this forum is not for you if you have not received a single merit in two years, but have only learned how to cheat with other people's texts.
1760  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you survived during covid19 ? on: March 14, 2023, 07:52:37 AM
OP, the pandemic is long over. But it seems to you that this disease made a separate impression, and not only in a physical sense. According to your post, a complete mess is visible; you mixed everything that could be mixed. Today there are many other problems, the solution to which is something to think about. Leave everything that was yesterday, take your mistakes into account, and start living today.
