1741  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN IS NOT A STORE OF VALUE on: September 24, 2022, 12:57:43 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n41GPPhLkhI&t=30s

Keeping in mind the most important factor, without gold and silver, all electronic equipment wouldn't exist = bitcoin would not exist. Computers, phones, tv's, etc ALL require silver and gold to be manufactured.

You example of store of value does not convince me. Computers, phones, and all these stuff aren't stored of value.
When you say store of value, do you mean that the prices of that "Store of value" does not dump ?

Gold is a store of value, and we may see fluctuation in its prices too. Bitcoin is also a store of value, though it is at a very early stage and therefore it has a lot of volatility.
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese version of Metaverse will be great for meta casinos. on: September 24, 2022, 10:16:08 AM
I believe you will get asked to provide KYC because China is very strict country and want to control anything, they even ban Bitcoin due to decentralized nature and can't be controlled. I wouldn't use any technology about chinese version of metaverse because I don't think it's has a difference with virtual reality (VR). Also not sure if they will create and launch their own metaverse since there's a lot discussion until now but there's no realization.

Are you only playing at gambling sites that do not require KYC? If so, you must have very few choices to play with because most of the trusted sites will require for KYC in order to be compliant with government regulations.

Similarly, metaverse casinos will also have such limitations and you will not get into metaverse casinos hiding your identity. However, if the model of the metaverse is totally decentralized, then we may see KYC free metaverse casinos.
1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 23, 2022, 04:02:31 PM
Finally.

Gambling content creators can still upload their content somewhere else, or perhaps someone can take advantage of this situation and create a gambling-only live streaming site and they can stay in there.  Twitch isn't known for always choosing the greater good for its viewers and content creators, but this one IMO shows that if people fought hard for something good, companies will still give in simply because they know the repercussions.

Perhaps they should go next with some 'just chatting' creators that are somewhat implying lewdness on their content. Lots of teens are in that platform and that is one way to also poison their minds.

This is why we need decentralized video sharing platforms so that there are no censorship and rules which have no wisdom.

I know there are some platforms where you can share live streaming and stuff but since they are not popular, the streamers usually make efforts to make their presence there. It's time the content creators, live streamers and viewers move towards decentralized platforms.
1744  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 is Casino Critique on: September 23, 2022, 03:05:30 PM
Royse777 has been caught, no matter how hard his buddies try to hide him.

After Bitlucy777 fiasco, he is now back with Casino Critique trying to raise 10 BTC, in collusion with his DT friends.

Let's hope no one is foolish enough to throw their money away.

I have just one query from OP or anyone else is that lets's suppose Royse777 start a setup for Casino Critique and is raising 10 btc or 100 btc for his start up? What is the problem with it ?
Isn't it everyone's right to raise any money for their project and if anyone is a popular member of bitcointalk doing it, then what is wrong with it?
I just fail to understand the concern here  Huh
1745  Other / Meta / Re: A blog for BitcoinTalk on: September 23, 2022, 02:49:07 PM
The idea is interesting. Everyone has their favorite section to post and read. Most of us only read what we are interested in. That's why sometimes we miss exciting things. For example, I do not visit the project development board and Bitcoin discussion that much. Most of the time, I miss some exciting discussions on those boards. If Bitcointalk blogs cover those, sure! It will be awesome.

BTW, You will need a whole separate blog just to Cover reputation sub-board dramas. A lot of Drama is already happening there.
WO is another thread. You will need another blog for WO.

I would not be willing to read the reputation drama in a summarized format in the form of blogs, rather i would prefer to read my favorite sections in full. You will be missing the WO conversations and a lot of other things. Also, we have services sections, a digital goods section, political section debates, and then signature campaign updates. That will be too much stuff to be covered in a one or two page blog.
1746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mentally prepared are you? on: September 22, 2022, 06:11:25 AM
OP..... first things first...

How mentally prepared are people not to see Bitcoin as an investment product, but rather as a currency? Our first priority as a Bitcoin community must be to educate people to understand that Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin to be an alternative currency.

People can buy bitcoins, but they must use a small percentage of those coins as a currency or the whole experiment will fail. Transactions generate "miners fees" and the miners fees pay for the miners to run the whole system... without those miners fees, Bitcoin will fail. (remember... Block rewards will fall away... and miners fees must pay the miners in the future)  Wink

You are right about this things but normally when people invest in bitcoins their purpose is to make money. Most people invest in bitcoins only to make quick money or to get quick rich without doing much efforts. They don't know that bitcoin prices dumps are more severe as compared to the other financial markets like stocks etc.
You are very true that we need to understand that bitcoin is a currency primarily and the first focus will be to use it in replacement of the fiat currency.
1747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 20, 2022, 05:19:00 PM

Pathetic fielding, as expected.
Pathetic bowling, as expected.

Imagine if India is unable to defend a score of 208 in T20 lmao
There's a good chance of it happening tonight Smiley

At one moment i thought Australia will able to chase this target easily but Australia lost two quick wickets in an over, tilting the match again in the favor of India. Maxwell and Smith both gone in an over and now again the pressure will be on Australia. Another interesting thing is that Umpire did not give these two outs but it was reviewed taken by the Indians and they got the right decision by the TV umpire.
Those were close calls. With all the noise in the stadium it's almost impossible to hear the edge.
Even DK wasn't sure.

Like I predicted, Aus is too stronk.

The only two good bowlers in Indian team are on the bench.

This W was very predictable.
Albeit, things will be very different with bumra and shamsi.
I only respect these two players. Rest are clowns.

It was very surprising for me that Australia managed to chase this big target and won the match. After India's first innings score, no one would have thought that India could lose this match, but the impossible happen. Indian needs to rethink as why they coul not defend this big score.

Bumra and Shamsi may change things but India is a big team, they should have backups which are match winners and not clowns as mentioned by you.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 20, 2022, 03:54:51 PM
How the hell Hardik Pandya can hit three sixes? When every other batter failed to do so. Sending Axar Patel was a wrong decision, it would have been good to send Dinesh Karthik at that time. I am still concerned whether this score can defeat Australia. Now, all depends on Indian bowling side.

Hardik Pandya is a strong man and one can expect him to hit sixes but to score against an Australian player Cameron Green and that two in the three balls of the innings is a big achievement. Suryakumar Yadav, Rahul and finally Hardik Pandya helped India score over 200+ runs.

Australia has made a reasonable start but they need to play aggressively throughout the innings if they want to challenge the Indian total.
1749  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🥥 BetCoCo 🥥 -🔥🔥Bonus upto 0.5BTC a month 🔥🔥 on: September 20, 2022, 03:59:45 AM
Hello,

KYC is needed to for all Fiat Users. As for Crypto Users, they can contact support if they want to withdraw anything below 250 EUR or equivalent, and this will be done.

Keep Winning,
BetCoCo Team

For me it is too difficult if the user has to make a withdrawal under 250 EUR must contact support to approve it, for every user who makes a withdrawal under 250 EUR with crypto certainly does not want to go through support to verify it may take longer, but I think it is possible without going through support will be better and more efficient than this slightly complicated method.

I know this may be a rule as your casino rule but players also need convenience in the sense that any withdrawal without KYC is easy, just verify via email.

Since i hear this approval thing, i wonder if their support staff is available 24/7 to approve these withdrawals. There is a cap of 250 EUR on withdrawal, so why not let it happen automatically?
If support staff needs to monitor everything with open eyes, why not do not let the deposit happen manually too and it should be first approved by support staff  Cool

For the price of bitcoin, the movement is still very wild and it is difficult to predict what will happen to bitcoin. But right now, the bitcoin price is still at 200xx and there are still many possibilities for the bitcoin price to move, so prepare your best predictions and hope to be one of the winners.
BTC has become a stablecoin these days which is freaking annoying since I liked its volatility factor quite a bit. It keeps trading sideways most of the time and occasionally goes to $22K and comes back down again.

It's like USDT, BUSD, etc which sticks close to a dollar while it sticks close to $20K. Wonder when it will move far away from this price.
Bitcoin is less volatile this day and at most Bitcoin market predictions and speculation becoming boring, I also like Bitcoin when the volatility level is high and when the price becomes stable and less volatile it becomes unattractive for investment.
But ultimately it is better to buy low and accumulating more Bitcoin during a less volatile market can become a good profit mechanism in the long run.

Do not expect bitcoin to always pump or dump. There are times when bitcoin moves in a sideways direction. Still, we cannot say that bitcoin has become a stablecoin. These days bitcoins have been moving in a range between 18500$ - 21500$.

Bitcoin price predictions are easy when the price is moving slowly, but we never know that this range can break up or break down at any time. The bitcoin price movement is usually uncertain.

India VS Australia

The first T20 match will start tomorrow. In total three T20 games would be played by these two. This is an essential series for both teams preparing for the upcoming T20WC. India would like to win this series considering its dismal performance Asia cup. Australia would also like to win this series considering they are the defending champions of the T20WC. In all, it is hard to predict a T20 match but India would have the home ground advantage.
In this match India seems to do very well. Virat Kohli is back to his old form in India. But he has batted very well in almost every match in the Asia Cup. India VS Australia which starts this match looks like India will win. There are many great players in Varo. It would be great if we could enjoy this match live.

Sure, you can watch this match live if you are living in India or Australia as the match will be on the national sports channels. Globally also there will be wide coverage of this match.

By the way, this will be an interesting series as both teams are strong and rivals. Also, this is a very important series between the two teams before the T20 world cup an neither team will want to register the loss before the World cup.
1752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: September 19, 2022, 04:13:12 PM
I think Bitcoin is foundation of crypto market and will going to be that in foreseeable future. So I will collect as many Bitcoin as possible and will use them somewhere in future. For me I think if all go well i will invest and forget and will open my account after a long gestation period.
Same as you, I can never see any crypto that will even surpass bitcoin in the future (other than if a serious issue will be discovered) which is also why I will be holding on my coins as long as possible and try to accumulate in the process. Right now, I have no reason to withdraw or trade it into fiat anytime soon as I earn salary on my job to support my needs and wants. Also, I try to invest on other crypto and try to earn during this time where the market is unstable and at least earn some profit on which I turn some percentage of my monthly profit on Bitcoin.

Unfortunately, I cannot collect and forget as crypto is already a part of my daily activity, however I always try not to lessen the coins I've accumulated.

I am also holding my bitcoins for the next bull cycle which is probably be taking place after 2024. In previous bull cycles I did the mistake of taking profits quickly and buying back again. This gave me some profits but not much. The best way to trade this bitcoin market is to buy in the bear times and take profits at / near the top of bull market. Sometimes it is difficult to time the market with perfect entries and exits, so take multiple entries at every low price and partially take profits after bitcoin reaches all time high again.
1753  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a bonus EVERY Month! on: September 19, 2022, 02:28:06 PM
KYC is applicable for both, fiat and crypto users. Anyways, you can always deposit and play without the need of verifying your account When you hit a win and want to withdraw funds, you'll need to do KYC. BetCoCo can take up to 3 days to verify the accounts, although usually takes around 24 hours Wink

That is typical true for most of the casino as they won't ask for KYC if you deposit and lose as big money as possible, but if you won some money, they would demand for the KYC. I am not targeting BetCoCo but generally its true with most of the casino. I never get how the gambler playing at the casino benefit from this offer, as withdraw is subject to KYC approval.

My suggestion is to do the KYC first and then deposit and play. Smiley (This is not a financial advice as i usually do not play at new casino until they are proof trustworthy)
1754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have started teaching Bitcoin to my Neighbors on: September 19, 2022, 01:38:04 PM
what you are doing is very good teaching the people closest to you, especially if they are unemployed and my heart is also moved to start inviting my friends who are unemployed to invite them to start learning to invest in the crypto world, especially bitcoin, but you also don't forget teach them about crypto (bitcoin) investment risk management so they don't panic when a loss hits them. and don't forget to tell them it's a good and safe platform to invest in.

I think the OP will give them all material related to crypto especially Bitcoin and will also tell them about how to deal with risks when panic comes suddenly when bad changes in the market occur. However, it will be more specific if the teaching uses the internet and several models of devices that can be connected to the internet so that they can more easily receive knowledge from the people who teach them at this time.

Because without the internet or devices that can connect to the internet, it will be difficult for them to understand even though there is a little explanation in writing, but they can only listen and pay attention to whatever the OP explains, but can't run it directly because it is hampered by the absence device in front of them.

As far as he shows us, he is just teaching the most basic things about bitcoin like the concept, benefits and some outstanding features of bitcoin. In this case, it is not necessary to use the internet and the good thing is that they have carefully recorded everything, it is quite manual but in my opinion this will help them remember longer.

Bitcoin is a method that requires internet to use and it will be very difficult if they cannot access or use bitcoin once, it is difficult for them to fully understand bitcoin. Hope OP has prepared those for later lessons.

The best thing which anyone can do for bitcoin adaption is to teach his/her family, friends, near and dear ones about bitcoin. The more spread awareness about bitcoin, the better it is for everyone. Also, this is a chain, we teach one person about bitcoin, he tells another person, and so on and on.
What if everyone one of us teaches one or two people minimum, we can't imagine how powerful can be the overall impact by this action.
1755  Economy / Gambling / Re: The latest cryptocurrency gambling on: September 18, 2022, 09:06:14 AM

There are people who after losing this amount want more and thus they do not stay loyal to the weekly bankroll and by doing so they risk to become a prey of addiction.

The human being by pure animal behavior will always try to look for more without caring or leaving behind the fears of the risks, when this is combined with the adrenaline and the liquor many do not have the prevention of risking a good part of their money and the most It is probable that if he enters betting a lot of money he will lose it, unless he is very lucky, but in these cases when a player gets carried away by his emotions, the same adrenaline of the moment does not allow him to reason very well, it makes him make mistakes followed without option to stop or become aware of his actions, he only reacts at the moment he loses everything.

Resisting the urge to continue gambling to regain the losses is a natural instinct, it is in every one human being to try to go after their losses but self control is what gamblers should adopt just that the adrenaline pumps more in the times we lose and off the hook we go to keep trying. Emotion play a fast one on the gamblers.
Looking at the way we gamble, it is very hard to be self conscious about gambling and how to arrange our weakness to prevent being a victim of bad ha it which had made a lots of gamblers to regret why they ever go into gambling. Self control is very important when it comes to gambling and we need to be self prepared to take risks and focus without being too desperate.

When you enter the gambling world, you will get a lot of offers and the temptation to play more, and wager more to gain more profit and gains. All these things which look so attractive are not what they look like. In gambling, if you do not have control over your emotions and you have no money management strategy, you are going to face a lot of difficult times and sometimes people ruin their whole bank balance and later realize the importance of using sense and relaxing cool mind in gambling.
1756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN WAS YOUR WORST MOMENT AND CHALLENGE WITH BITCOIN ? on: September 18, 2022, 08:15:47 AM
Early on I made some bad investment decisions with alts and various projects within the cryptospace. No breaking losses, but a waste nonetheless, especially since those decisions that did turn out profitable were in hindsight not profitable enough to justify the risk. Waking up to a project turning out to be a scam, or at least not as groundbreaking as expected -- not a good feeling.

With Bitcoin itself though I just watch the ebb and flow of the markets. I watch them closely and with great interest, mind you, but at this point lamenting about missed buying or selling opportunities feels like complaining about the weather. So no bad moments with Bitcoin, but a few with the cryptospace surrounding it.

Similar to HeRetiK, early on in my Bitcoin experience I got involved with the ICO craze and
traded some of my precious Bitcoin for what I thought then would be worthwhile projects
only to realise a year or so later they were useless. I - like many others of the time realise
now that Alt coins dont last with the exception of a handful of useful ones, like Litecoin and Monero.

The second bad experience was getting involved in some HYIP scams which at the time
I wasnt aware about, that was a big learning curve and luckily I was a tinybit skeptical going
into it and only lost a very small amount of Bitcoin

I also had a similar bad experience but i did not buy in the ICO directly. I remember the time when binance used to do IEO sort of thing in early stages and when those coins listed on the exchange, they pumped big time. My mistake was that i invested a big amount in a binance IEO listed coin as soon as it was listed on the exchange. Unluckily the coin was dumped too hard and i have lost the investment. Although since my buying was in the spot, i held the coin but later sell it at a loss as i needed money to trade and do other stuff.
1757  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this Gambling Bot real or fake? on: September 18, 2022, 06:25:07 AM
Then for me, I don't just believe in bots like you say, because the natural method or organic way is different so that you can fully appreciate what you are doing. Using bots is just lazy in my opinion, I'm sorry to those who like to use bots. This is just my opinion and opinion.

Everyone may have his own preferences. Maybe he does not have time to gamble himself and uses the bit to gamble and earn some passive income from him.

I bought the bot and gave it a try. Think its not really worth to pay 5$ for 5 days when there are free bots around providing nearly the same. But was fun testing the bot.

Paid bots are much more reliable than free bots. Also, when you know nothing is free in this world, the free bots may come up with some malware or something, so don't trust free bots when you can afford a paid one.
1758  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: September 18, 2022, 05:41:30 AM

A few days ago I played a slot game on BK8 but I don't remember how much my total wager well as far as I know BK8 has a daily rakeback feature
The balance will be sent the next day but after waiting 2 days I didn't get anything then I wonder whether this feature has been deleted or not
indeed when playing I won and asked for withdrawal so when we win the daily rakeback is not available? Oh yeah this is my last win:

Yes rakeback/rebate was sent in the next day after your gambling session, but afaik the system is changed already. Now you can see a new menu namely "instant rebate", you can find it on your account. You have to claim it manually, so it is no longer automatic like what it was. So it is not deleted, but BK8 changed the system from automatic to manual claim. CMIIW

So can I still claim it even though I have missed a few days? I don't know they changed this feature.
but as far as I know I activated the Nonsports rebate promo before playing and I don't know how this works

Oh I've found it 'instant rebate' it's not on the promotion page lol I have to check it carefully. thanks Bitinity

Are you talking about the ATTENDANCE BONUS which is offered by BK8 ?
The give you the Revolution Reload Bonus but for that certain conditions need to be met like members need to deposit in the casino for consecutive 7 days in order to become eligible for the Attendance.
That's another way ko keep the gambler busy playing throughout the week in order to gain this bonus. Smiley
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Choices: Gamble or Help the poor ? on: September 18, 2022, 05:02:35 AM
Being into gambling my mind will surely suggest to gamble and help with the winning amount.

I will first gamble and when I win I will help

As per the OP, he is asking if you will leave the gambling to help the poor, and in this case, you people will play gamble and help on the condition if you won. So, this type of help is condition based as you will probably help with the winning amount but not willing to sacrifice your current amount allocated for gambling.

Anyways, if I found anyone in trouble, especially in my family or neighbors, i will definitely quit gambling for a month and help the needy.
1760  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: September 18, 2022, 04:36:07 AM
Hi Guys!

I'm interested in your opinion about my compilation of casinos accepting crypto deposits. I know they aren't pure crypto casinos, but they are time-proven and trustworthy. Some of them are in operation for over 20 years. You only can see the casinos on the page that are accessible from your country.

So, here is the link to the page: https://casinoroam.com/bitcoin-casinos/

I know you want to give us the best when it relate to crypto casinos but at least make sure you review casinos based on 2hag you have experienced using them just like what most reviewing site used to claim that they have tested all the sites they have reviewed so far. It will be better for you to keep updating your review so that users can be aware of any changes  that can be if importance to users.
Except for a few review sites I find it difficult to believe they have the time and the resources to test that many casinos, now it's true that casinos give free money for the ones writing those reviews to check their features but that in itself disqualifies the reviews as they're not in any risk of losing their money as the rest of the gamblers are, it's because of this I trust a lot more the reviews I read on this forum as I know they come from people that are in the exact same position as I am.
We know there are review sites here that are reliable, the ones that are popular on the forum because they conduct an extensive research and reviews based on their own experience. Thus many gamblers are relying on their sites to look for new casinos that's suited for them. But it's true that despite of having these review sites, many of us still prefer the experience of gamblers who often play on the particular site to know the pros and cons especially about kyc which some of us dont like.

Ann thread of the gambling site is another good place to see the reputation of the site and see what other players are saying about the site. Usually, a good site will have a lot of happy users on the thread who will post their experiences while on a scam site, people will just keep complaining about the site.

I don't completely trust the review sites because the reviews can be paid too but it's easy to trust the reviews on the ANN thread as they are hundreds of users posting their real time experience.
