I remember I saw from somewhere that the BFL guys said that the expected date of shipping is the end of June.

Now if what you say turns out to be true, it seems they will have done a better job than before.

The date has slipped a bit as it was supposed to be the middle of may. Good things come to those who are patient, so I wait.
1762  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: April 29, 2012, 10:53:37 AM
Thanks for your reply. A relative long time of waiting then. Undecided

The mini rigs should be here by the end of May.
1763  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: April 29, 2012, 10:43:57 AM
Seems that the sales of all the mining bonds are going pretty well, except those with smaller volumes. Will you propose plans for releasing more soon? Smiley

Hi friedcat,

All 10k bonds were sold on or before IPO day. The sales going on now are all between existing bonds holders.

As for plans on releasing more bonds, I would like to get the mini rigs in and running before I make anymore moves of that nature.

Best,
gigavps

What do all but 2 of your BFL's look like their powered down (but still displaying a mH) ?

The first two lines are 5870s. Smiley

The other 15 are the singles. I have to use a special utility to get the stats for the singles so a lot of stats are missing for them.

Already running 2.3.6 on the entire farm! Looks like it's a winner.

6 days left before the lucky winner of the BFL bitforce single is chosen!

What are you going to do with your new single?
1769  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 28, 2012, 04:27:04 PM
I would have given the coins back if he did not attack me like that.

So you've decided to stay butt hurt. Good for you....

* gigavps puts bulanula back on ignore
1770  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 28, 2012, 04:18:11 PM
blah blah blah blah blah

bulanula,

Stop being butt hurt because the sender said something to make you mad. You have a simple choice to make:

1. Be the better human being and give the coins back.
2. Act like a child, earn the disrespect of every person on these forums.

It's your choice.....

Best,
gigavps
1771  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: April 28, 2012, 03:37:47 PM
If the sender can verify that the coins are his by either:

1. making transactions to himself on the network proving he can move coins and controls the addresses
2. signs a message stating that he is the owner of one of the address that send the transaction

then the coins should be returned. Not doing so will probably get you banned from the forums.

Not that it matters much as it seems that bulanula one of the most ignored people on the forums.

1773  Other / Beginners & Help / [CLOSED] Win a Butterfly Labs Bitforce Single on: April 28, 2012, 02:17:37 PM
Hello newbie bitcoiners,

Off the back of the successful raffle of a 50Gh 1 week mining contract, I am proud to offer a new raffle to all of my fellow mining enthusiasts!

Welcome to the Butterfly Labs Bitforce Single raffle!

You read that right. I am ready to raffle one of my BFL singles away. Each ticket is only .25 BTC each!

Imagine, turning .25 BTC into a Butterfly Labs Bitforce single, a return of at least 480 times the cost of a single ticket.

So you’re probably wondering, “how can I verify that gigavps has a single to raffle off?”

My fifteen singles hashing away -> http://bit.ly/Ix3ktV
Gigavps’ farm monitoring page (all the singles are on rig 100) -> http://bit.ly/IxUZns

Rules of the contest:

  • The odds of winning this raffle is 1 / (total # of tickets sold)
  • This raffle will end on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 5pm EST.
  • You may purchase as many tickets as you like.
  • Whether buying a single ticket or bulk tickets, each ticket will have its own ticket number and therefore a unique hash.
  • The only piece of information you need to submit is your email address. This will be hashed so it will not be given out to the public.
  • The raffle will be decided by:
    • We will combine the SHA256 hash of each email address with the hash of your ticket number and the first block hash to be found after the raffle ends. Here is an example:
    • sha(sha(email) + sha(ticketNumber) + hashOfBlockFound)
    • The lowest hash wins!
  • Once the results of the raffle have been verified, the single will be shipped to the new owner within 48 hours.

Enjoy and good luck!

Best regards,
gigavps

lodcrappo,

Could you please update cgminer on bamt to 2.3.5?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.msg872298#msg872298

It has been tested by multiple large miners i am in contact with and is stable.

Thanks,
gigavps

I am testing 2.3.5 now and it seems to have some bugs, I will update again once I have worked with conman to get things straight.

Best,
gigavps

also with everybody on this forum pumping their coins into this lending bubble through various channels like a big funnel he will soon be able to buy an island in the Caribbean an hide away forever.

How do you know we are not already on the island with him......
1777  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [CLOSED] 50Gh 1 week mining contract worth ~230 BTC on: April 28, 2012, 09:20:29 AM
Kind of dissapointing that he took the coins...    I know its easier for you guys but its no different than bitlotto ... the whole point was getting the hashing power ....
I kind of agree. It was neat that it was different than just BTC but kind of sad it changed right at the end. BitLotto is different though. I don't offer an prize and sell way more tickets than the prize is worth. I just always pay 99% of whatever people put in. Wink Offering an amount at the beginning to raffle off would IMHO be a rip off. The suckers at the beginning would play but everyone else would wait till the end to see if the number of tickets sales is higher or lower than the prize amount. If it's lower it's a good deal and the operator ends up losing BTC. If it's higher than the money is better spent at BitLotto for the odds are better compared to the prize. Who knows how many people would really pay attention though.

I am sorry you guys feel this way.

Amazingrando and I put up large sums of our mining income with no idea what was going to happen. We also over delivered on option #2 by paying 110% PPS which cncguru was super excited about. It was his choice to make.

Finally, the results of the raffle, IMHO, went off without hassle and we had third party validation of the results.

I could not have asked for a better result and am very pleased with how things turned out.

OK -- time to start the questions...

1.  Will the BFL warranty of 6 months transfer?

2.  Rev 1, Rev 2 or Rev 3 unit?

3.  When is the Mini-Rig raffle?  Grin

Thanks for the questions JWU42. I have updated the second post with a Q/A section.

Q/A

Q: Will the BFL warranty of 6 months transfer?
A: Whoever wins the single will have my full support in dealing with BFL should anything happen to the single.

Q: Rev 1, Rev 2 or Rev 3 unit?
A: It is up to the winner. I have no real preference.

Q: When is the Mini-Rig raffle?
A: Never. Smiley

I think you should start that raffle now because I would be quite interested in that but I cannot speak for everyone else.

Ask and you shall receive....
