1761  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Scams Bitcoin Mixers List and Services closed on: July 12, 2023, 11:40:08 PM
Somehow it seems to me that both Whirlwind and Sinbad have a problem with DDoS attacks at the same time, smells as if everything comes from one kitchen.

How much money a scammer can make?

Here is a scammer in action: BTC address 1HtV8k2Pj4y5bRR1NbjF2uEq8DZjJF2pJk
Received about 45 BTC since ~2020-2021. More than 1 fucking million dollars

Blockchair says: the Total received 45.22614811BTC - 1,875,270.81USD
Close to 2 million. Really huge money in just two years. I looked at the last few transactions, so almost every week they have a minimum of one incoming transaction.

Considering the very large number of sites, they often start from the beginning, I'm really curious, about how they promote the sites. This must always be very efficient in the short term before fraud is recognized and the domain is eventually blocked.
1762  Other / Archival / Re: 🐱 [banned mixer] - The Cutest Bitcoin Mixer! on: July 12, 2023, 10:55:10 PM
I would like if [banned mixer] is more familiar with another mixer by having a feature edit fee or costume. I know Mixy Money uses a charge fee of 3 to 5 percent of the amount + 0.0007 BTC.  but for me, it's enough expensive when I want to try your mixer.

Competition will most likely play an important role here, and it is clear to everyone that competition in the mixing industry is more than serious. Especially after the closure of CM. If they are still attractive in spite of everything, they probably see no reason to reduce earnings and lower fees.

Quote
Maybe better to OP to make it happen my suggestion, and about language, I repeat it again to make it English by default, because 1st I open and try mixing, I bit kinda confused about where I have to put the address sent.

Once you change the language of the site, in subsequent sessions the cookies will do their work and your preferred choice of language will be opened every time. But certainly turning to a more globally acceptable language as the default is a better choice, plus many are not familiar with the Cyrillic alphabet.
1763  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question from a newbie - raising $100 in BTC for charity on: July 12, 2023, 10:34:41 PM
But then, people are always skeptical when newbies appear in the forum and keep stressing on charity. Most cases have proven otherwise.

Obviously, the sceptics were right, at least as far as this case is concerned. The OP gave up after a few days and has not been active here for more than two weeks, so I will continue in a sceptical tone, he tried to find a way to quick money all under the pretext of charity and donation.

Anyone who wants to donate or volunteer for someone's benefit must do it much more precisely and transparently, not just declaratively in order to gain sympathy from the crowd.
1764  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: July 12, 2023, 10:22:57 PM
I don't think anyone expected that. Of course there were some red flags, but in my eyes they didn't point to an exit.
If you just consider how much Betnomi has spent on advertising, campaigns, contests and free raffles here on Bitcointalk in that short time.. seems not right to me.  Huh
Iirc icopress talked about a total of over 1 BTC.

Honestly, I'm quite surprised by the current situation regarding Betnomi. Just two weeks ago, I received a PM from them, regarding their raffle where, among other things, I received an invitation to participate in their next contests and promotions.

It's strange that I received a forum notification in the PM from Betnomi "This PM looks like possible phishing: examine links closely!" although there weren't any links inside. It would be really good to have direct information, even if it is negative.
1765  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cz or the Sec who would you support? on: July 12, 2023, 10:02:27 PM
With what the SEC does sometimes I think the goal of the SEC is to destroy crypto,
I know it's just my wild thoughts but the investigations carried out by the SEC have had a lot of negative effects on crypto as you said,

I don't think there is any plan to destroy crypto, these are more attempts to introduce control, in the sense that governments have insight and control over the circulation of value. It is not in the interest of any government that citizens have some money that they have no insight into and cannot be taxed.

On the other side is Binance, which is certainly not the lamb in the whole story, we know from earlier about their various manipulative actions and it is really necessary that their influence be brought under control.
But whether we want to admit it or not, Binance is one of the most important crypto services and its possible disappearance will cause serious shocks, probably the biggest so far.

Therefore, Binance (and any similar service) definitely needs to be under greater control, but it is also needed in the future.
1766  Economy / Reputation / Re: I'm tired and angry about Timelord's behavior and his alt/puppy on: July 12, 2023, 02:21:32 PM
Thank you.. another point how does he knows the members email addresses? I thought that thing is private on this forum. As per my search hedgefx didn't share the same email here on the forum but on another bitcoin forum. Just concerned about accounts 🔐 thanks.

I don't know why you ask such questions when you yourself left your email address everywhere. In addition to the fact that Timelord wrote all the references where he found the disputed address, It's easy to find you on the bitcoin.com forum with that email address in your signature and you confirm the connection with P2Pfinder Bitcointalk account. Link

DaveF has a right here, I suggest you go to the meta and talk to the forum administrators about this case. If the rules were to be followed, your participation here should be over.

The question of open loans should be asked here, shasan and hopenotlate should be informed about the potential ban.
1767  Economy / Reputation / Re: I'm tired and angry about Timelord's behavior and his alt/puppy on: July 12, 2023, 12:08:54 PM
As far as I understand, this time you are accused of being the alt account of the banned P2Pfinder member. Same contact email hedgefx @tuta.io address is written on both accounts. This seems like a serious link that the same person is between both accounts.
I would say that this time is much worse for you than the previous conflict with Timelord.

This might not be a problem if one of the accounts was not banned. Ban evasion is not allowed due to forum rules.

25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.[e]
1768  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (RESOLVED) Duelbits.com SCAM 2k USD,3months, Complete KYC on: July 12, 2023, 10:50:05 AM
yes it went through.

OP, if your case is resolved, it would be good if you changed the subjects in all the topics you started because of this case. Also, remove "SCAM" from the text, because there are no elements of fraud here.
Of course, you can lock this thread, because there is nothing more to discuss here.
1769  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Mjesečna Analiza za Hrvatsku Lokalnu Zajednicu (Bitcointalk Croatian) on: July 12, 2023, 10:41:11 AM

1770  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why don't we ban users like FmaTR on this forum? on: July 12, 2023, 10:24:57 AM
Actually this means new user for our forum. I think it is useful for both me and the forum.

This forum has no benefit from a fake account that will only register and leave you positive feedback. It's just useless dust. Of course, no one will believe in false praise, you are free to stop such practice.

Quote
I repeat, I can serve 1-2 of our friends under this topic without any commission or extra charge.

Due to fake feedback, no one is interested in what you offer. As you can see, you only got a counter-effect with this method.

I don't leave a feedback because it won't be visible, it will only be in untrusted feedback.

A totally wrong attitude. It is necessary to leave your feedback, regardless of the fact that it will not be visible at the beginning. In this way, the other members will be able to see your judgment and if it is good, it will eventually imply that others add you to their trust list.
Trusting you means that at some point your feedback will be visible.

Is that enough? My reward please Smiley

No, it's not enough. At least they are not screenshots from another platform here on the forum. A slightly more skilled designer can easily fake such things.
It would be good if you try to understand.

btw. You are from Turkey, I see that you had customers from Turkey, why do you negotiate in English? Why not in your native language?

New update after a while. 20 new scam sites added to the base.
The good thing is, I noticed that a lot of sites are already offline, so one part of the list is only for recognizing dirty domain names.

1772  Economy / Services / Re: Want to hack some websites' Cpanel on: July 11, 2023, 10:18:26 PM
I have a list of some websites I want to get access to (no illegal thing included)

Can you explain how there is nothing illegal about wanting to have unauthorized access to other people's sites? I'm really interested in how the legality of hacking websites is justified.

Quote
I will pay you good money on every website you get me access to

If I may ask, how much are you willing to pay per site? What do you think is good money for something like that?
1773  Economy / Services / Re: Sinbad.io Mix Your BTC Quickly AVATAR contest | Win up to $200 on: July 11, 2023, 10:11:58 PM
Thank you.. so guys I'd be having small issue photoshopping before the deadline so I have drawn my idea.. if anyone wants to animate it and use it in his 3 concepts for a profit share if it got chosen as the winner I welcome that.

The idea is about Sinbad having an octopus body squeezing bitcoins with his hands to have it divided into mbtc or whatever coming out of his sucker holes after being mixed
...

Please tell me you're kidding us with this suggestion of yours. You want a reward for some scribbles on paper, where someone else will do the most important part of the work for you.
I think the purpose of this contest is not to give away money for every poor attempt, but to rebrand the avatar and look for the best solution.
1774  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why don't we ban users like FmaTR on this forum? on: July 11, 2023, 12:31:44 PM
A user registered on Bitcointalk just to write a post in his thread to highlight how smooth deal he or she had with FmaTR. Definitely, this is absurd and we can confidently say that this user creates fake accounts to write positive reviews about his service.

You are absolutely right here. This is already a well-known technique for improving all offers through feedback via an alt account. I really don't believe that anyone believes in what he does.

Quote
He has been doing this since 2022, idk if that got unnoticed or if that is okay on this forum but one thing is for sure, this user is a scammer and liar.

You cannot be sure that he is a scammer if there are still no proven charges against him. He probably went unnoticed because his service is not interesting to anyone here.
What you can do is present all his fake and alt profiles here, maybe create a flag for his main account and ask for support from DT members.
1775  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [β] BPIP Extension: user info & extra features add-on/extension, Firefox/Chrome on: July 11, 2023, 09:08:54 AM
Another strange bug I noticed, I don't know if it's the same with others.
In the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5459386 there is no BPIP Rank and Earned Merit data, while in several others that I checked, this data appears normally  Huh

1776  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know an account has been blacklisted or put on ignored. on: July 11, 2023, 09:02:17 AM
Hi everyone, I have been on the forum for quite some time now, despite the fact that I have shown growth, because I believe I have grown in knowledge of BTC/cryptocurrencies, trading strategies, saving strategy, gambling strategy and the likes, it still beats my imagination that my post or comments fail to attract merit rewards.

I would like to believe I have made a consistent and persistent contribution to have gotten to the full member position, but I want to know why it is difficult to gain merits as it is looks like am stuck or on ignored or blacklisted.

Certainly, the quality of posts and putting someone on the ignore list are related. If you spam or write useless bullshit, there is a high probability that you will end up on the ignore list of many users. So, don't spam and you will not be ignored, merit will come as a consequence.

I think that the ignore option is mostly used by older members, probably because they are tired of reading nonsense. Also, they have the most merit to give.

1778  Other / Archival / Re: Sinbad.io Mixer - secure, fast and easy to use on: July 10, 2023, 05:39:44 PM
Green, black avatar
Blue, white signature
Finally the black and white website interface with that pirate logo.

Dark green/black is perhaps not the most noticeable combination, I hope that the current contest Sinbad.io Mix Your BTC Quickly AVATAR contest | Win up to $200 will bring some improvements when we talk about the avatar.
The signature looks pretty good now (at least to me), I wouldn't change much.

You can use yellow instead.  Yellow color harmonizes well with blue and green.

Yellow colour for a service such as a mixer is completely unacceptable. Otherwise, in web design, the combination of colors is very important, depending on the activity for which it is being made. I suggest that you do a little research, you will see that yellow is more suitable for some fun sites. By no means to the service or through some aspect of financial services.
It is about psychology and its influence on the visitor in terms of trust.
1779  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+) on: July 10, 2023, 12:44:42 PM
So all these mess are for Cloudflare?
I thought it had something to do from the forum server side.
Usually, this happens because of a DDOS on the forum. As theymos wrote:
The Internet is seriously flawed if everyone needs to huddle behind these huge centralized anti-DDoS companies in order to survive...

I noticed that both, the TryNinja TG bot and LoyceV scraper, notification bots are down these days, I assumed it was related to DDoS protection due to extra Cloudflare verification in the last few days.

Considering that these are already proven add-ons, and very useful for the forum, I assume that both bots always come from the same IP address. So I wonder if an exception can be made just for them so that they always have direct access, probably read-only is enough. I believe that is a question for theymos, not sure how technically feasible it is
1780  Economy / Reputation / Re: hugeblack made false accusations against me. on: July 10, 2023, 12:24:03 PM

@Vlad2Vlad can confirm whether it's the real owner or not.

He said they worked closely for a year. A 1 minute chat will reveal the truth.

So you suggest that we ask and take the word of a person (who otherwise sent 242 merits to OP) who has negative feedback mostly because of shilling for someone (scammer) else? I believe that the trust system works well in such cases.
