I’m surprised that shitcoin is still functioning, weird that Ayre & Wright are still towing the party line. You would have thought they’d have just sold everything & given up by now. Satoshi’s Vision, the real bitcoin? Don’t make me laugh.

If you’re looking for a trustworthy exchange then I highly recommend Kraken. It’s my go to exchange, never had any issues. Obviously though as gmaxwell said in the OP, you shouldn’t be leaving any amount of bitcoin on an exchange long term.

Lots of Europa League & Europa Conference League games tonight. Plenty of opportunities for some accumalators, both teams to score maybe.

Let’s get it.
I am on a couple of both to score games tonight as well. Had to include Arsenal on the multi as well to participate in that Arsenal roulette free chips promo. Great promo by the way, try it guys if you did not already.

Too many games to properly watch tonight, hopefully I will find some multicast to check all the most important stuff happening across all the games.

Good luck with your bets, amigo. Just to remind people also that if they’re in hilarious’ paid, sportsbet.io promoted PL prediction pool to head on over to Games & Rounds.
The cut off is not long away as our boys Arsenal play tonight in the Europa League. Get your predictions in, if you qualify guys.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 06, 2022, 11:49:24 AM
The first three legs of the champions League have been played and three teams have already qualified for the next round, Which are Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Napoli, and I believe this gives us a clue of the teams that will reach the final and better still win it, most teams are not up to it this season, like Liverpool, juventus and Tottenham, but I think for now Manchester city are the first favourite, they are playing on another dimension ever since Erling Haaland was signed, then there is real Madrid who has history, experience and luck in this competition then we have Bayern Munich.

It’s too early to start making predictions about who will be champion yet. Lots of things can change, we are only in October. The big teams usually take it up a gear after Xmas. Injuries  can affect a teams rhythm & form so let’s see what happens when we get to the knockout stages.

You can probably narrow it down to the usual suspects though, Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern, Chelsea, LFC, Barcelona, Inter.

My own team LFC aren’t doing too well atm but we always do well in the CL. You can never ever write off Real, they are the undisputed Kings of Europe. Man City must be favourites, Haaland looks unstoppable if we’re honest. I don’t know if I’ve seen a CF like him.

Let’s see what happens.

Buy a hardware wallet, it’s safe & secure. You won’t have to worry about being hit with malware etc.

Some of the best options:

I had a real stinker of a week, 4.5 points which was one of the lowest points in our pool. Good thing it’s a long season I guess Cheesy

Congrats to Harkorede with the yellow cap, well done Sir.

@ Steve

Very, very daring with that kind of wager but good for him, massive win. I would have been very nervous throughout that bet but a win is a win. Good for him, he has balls of steel though.

CL is a nice distraction for me tonight, a break from our poor PL form.

Let’s go 🔴

I really do wish we (bitcoin) could decouple from legacy markets & government decisions for once & all. Feels annoying that it still matters (price direction) what a bunch of old people in suits say.

It will come but would really like it if there was no price reaction to anything that governments do/say about bitcoin.
I guess we are a long way from that.

1774  Economy / Speculation / Re: October price guess on: October 03, 2022, 08:31:49 AM
There’s too much FUD floating around in legacy markets. Central banks are rumoured to be close to insolvency, lots of things whispered about Credit Suisse being the next Lehman Brothers.

I think we’re going to have a miserable Q4 of 2022. Pepper your angus, it’s going to be scary.
1775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does everyone want bitcoin to be stable in price? on: October 03, 2022, 08:21:59 AM
I’d love it to only go up but that’s not realistic, is it. Bitcoin is still a relatively immature asset so volatility is part of the game. I actually enjoy the volatility but only because I got in early so I have a good position to be able to sell during bull markets & buy at times we are currently experiencing. It’s relatively risk free, I can’t lose.

So to conclude, no I don’t want bitcoin to be stable, it’d just be another stablecoin then wouldn’t it.

What do you think about big derby match Manchester City vs Manchester United?

I’m just sitting down to watch it. Man Utd are much improved but City are by far the best team in the PL at the moment, possibly the world. I expect City to win this game comfortably. Haaland is going to run riot today I think.

Thanks for all the kind comments but i really don’t deserve them. Karl deserves the credit for running these competitions.
I’m not really an ETH guy, so very lucky there. Thanks to Karl for running that as it’s what the community asked for.

There is a lot of luck involved but you have to be entered to win. Can’t win the lottery without buying a ticket.

It will be a miracle if I was to win the next competition Karl runs so just keep entering them & you too could be lucky.

Good luck.

Yep now is a great time to buy bitcoin. Bear markets are the time to accumulate, this is at conflict with average joe’s wired psychology though.

1780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin over Tor isn't a good idea" on: September 30, 2022, 04:19:24 PM
Storing any significant amount of bitcoin on any device, using any browser is stupid. I don’t care what privacy you supposedly think you have. Don’t use a VPN either. My stash is in deep, fucking cold storage, you’d have to torture me to get my seeds/passphrases.

Seriously, you are never safe browsing if you store bitcoin on the device you browse with.

Stay smart & HODL.
