I don’t think you should go round throwing insults or branding anybody an addicted gambler. If you think somebody close to you has a gambling problem, reach out and talk to them, see how they’re feeling, try and help them find support. Do it in a nice, caring way though because nobody wants to feel ashamed or embarrassed. Some people do have gambling problems but there are ways to provide help and support that don’t ridicule people.

AUS taken advantage of the bad weather, bowling out both of ENG opening batsmen. It’s amazing how quickly the pendulum can swing. Rain came at the wrong time for ENG, it’s still a very finely balanced First Test but perhaps slightly in AUS favour now.

Really entertaining game, Italy take the 3rd place spot but all eyes are on the final tonight, Croatia vs Spain. It’s such a tough game to call, wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a long night and it’s not decided in regular time.

De Gea has been at Man Utd since he was a very young man. I think he joined when he was 19, that’s 12 long years. I don’t think many foreign players stay at one club that long. Maybe he needs a new challenge, perhaps he wants to go back to Spain. I think Man Utd fans should respect his service to the club and wish him well, whatever he decides to do. The decline of Man Utd since Fergie left has nothing to do with him.

Croatia are a bit of an unfashionable team but they have some really good players. They always seem to do well in tournaments. I really hope they beat Spain tomorrow, the Spanish team has a few young players who might not be so experienced in big one off games.

I don't understand the decision of Declaration by the English team first of all, even after 8 wickets some 20-30 more odd runs would have helped also not to mention 400 is a big psychological mountain as well.
AUS 311/5 Trailing by 82 runs. I agree that it was a really odd declaration by England. Wouldn’t even surprise me if AUS take a lead into the 2nd innings if their tail enders can hit a decent amount of runs. Like you said though, a draw looks likely. |

56 minutes gone, it’s going exactly as I thought it would. Two good teams, very closely matched. A bit like Netherlands vs Croatia last night, I think this one is going to extra time.

Barella is a really good player, with Guimaraes that would be the start of a very good midfield so naturally as a Liverpool fan, I hope Newcastle don’t get the Italian I think the PL is going to be so competitive next season, well Man City out in front but the other big teams will be very closely matched. |

This surprised me, how can Luka Modric who is already 37 years old, still play full time . In addition, he also became a hero for Croatia in this match with a penalty he scored in the 116th minute. Well, hopefully they can get at least 1 trophy this year, moreover it is estimated that Modric will not be able to take part in the next WC. He’s not just still playing, he’s starring in games. People talk about Xavi and Iniesta but Modric has 5 x Champions League winners medals, 3 x La Liga winners medals, he won Ballon D’or. He’s one of the greatest midfield players of the last 30 years. I don’t think he gets enough credit. |

I’m really enjoying Netherlands vs Croatia, such a competitive game. I knew it would be, two really good teams. Currently sitting on 61 minutes, this game could go all the way to extra time and maybe penalties. It could be a long night. I know we have some Dutch and Croatian guys in the community here, hope you’re not too stressed out watching this may the best team win  |
