1141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 13, 2023, 08:17:32 PM
Arsenal's performance this season in the Premier League still looks stable, but what most people say after seeing Manchester City's performance against Bayern Munich is also not wrong because Manchester City was able to excel with several goals without reply to Bayern Munich in the UCL. So it is only natural that this is a consideration for many people to compare Arsenal's performance with Manchester City at this time.

Arsenal just need to ignore what Man City are doing and win their own games. If Arsenal keep winning, tgere’s nothing Man City can do.

My prediction is if Arsenal avoid defeat at The Etihad they will be champions. I’m confident they can win all their other games, they just need to avoid defeat at Man City.

It’s looking like there’s a good chance we’ll be above $40K by the end of the year.

I’d settle for that to be honest.

I’m looking for $40,000 at the time of the halving & a cycle top of something like $180,000 towards the end of 2025. It could go higher but I don’t want to set myself up for disappointment.

There’s something about Real Madrid and the CL isn’t there. I have to admit that they are by far the biggest club in the world, as I’ve found out to my detriment in recent CL Finals. They’re 1-0 up against Chelsea, Benzema once again. 34 minutes to go though, lots of time left in this tie.

In the other game tonight Milan lead, Napoli too good to be written off though.

This will be a really good fight, the pre match trash talk is going to be equally entertaining. These two dudes certainly know how to get under the skin of their opponent.

Somebody post sportsbet.io odds for the fight when you see them.

Could be the year Man City finally win it with Guardiola, they’ve spent so much money that it was bound to happen eventually. Haaland is the killer in the box that they’ve been missing. Aguero was good but Haaland looks next level.

A 3-0 win from the first leg against Bayern looks like an unassailable lead in the tie. In the other 1/4 final last night Inter took charge with a 2-0 win. City & Inter with one foot each in the semi final.

Let’s see what tonight brings -

AC Milan vs Napoli in an all Italian tie and perennial winners Real vs Chelsea.

How about we give away another Sportsbet.io merch bundle  Cool

The winner(s) of the Round 31 Yellow Cap will also win:
Choice of Arsenal or Southampton Shirt AND Sportsbet.io Hoodie + Hat combo

One of these days I’m going to win one of these prizes, would really like to win one of the Arsenal packages as they’re highly likely to be champions this season. A 2022/23 replica jersey could be a real collectors item if they do become PL champions this season.

I’ve been following this guy, he is definitely legit. Not a bad idea to have a place to chat in real time, not on a delay like here on the forum. Discord takes literally 20 seconds to sign up.

There's a news Leicester City already announce Dean Smith as their head coach and he will replace Adam Sadler, this is quite controversial news because Dean Smith was previously drag Norwich City from Premier League to Championship, but he have a good record when he was managed Aston Villa where he make Aston Villa lead from Championship to Premier League.

He's still new, so we will not see a big change to Leicester City in this season, he only need to make Leicester City get eliminated since they're currently at delegation zone.

I’m unsure what kind of impact they are expecting Dean Smith to have. I think they just got desperate and panicked, maybe they are hoping for a new manager bounce which seems to happen so often. Luckily for them it’s so close down at the bottom, any kind of mini run of good norm, a few wins etc would take them out of the relegation zone.

In some ways the bottom of the table is more exciting than the top at the moment. It’s so close, there will be lots of drama down there right up until the final day of the season.

The major BTC bear markets. All time high, to bottom, back to the all time high.

Current bear market shown in black.

I bet this recovery will be closer to 2013 bull run (blue line) for a number of reasons:
1. Price was artificially low due to fake FTX  paper buying.
2. Regulatory clampdown will keep money out of fakebitcoin scams and into $BTC.
3. Inflation is high, and will probably stay high.
4. We are entering a period of rapid loss in trust of fiat currency, banks, and government debt.

It was a really great game for the neutrals - and it perfectly shows 2 things as well. Liverpool is so erratic in their performances and Arsenal is simply not on a high enough level just yet.

I was disappointed to see that they gave all possession to Liverpool so easily. It basically saved us a point so thanks Arsenal - but that's not how a champion team behaves.
I felt it throughout the league and I felt it yesterday again - they are simply not ready for the title. They can still claim it of course - but I do feel it's going to City.

Liverpool on the other hand - why do we need to fuck everything up in a short period of time? We were horrible in the first half of the game and had to really grind to get something out of the game.
We played really well throughout the majority of the 90 minutes - but what good does it give you when you shoot yourself in both legs early on?

Such a frustrating season, can't wait for it to end.

We need 2-3 aggressive, athletic midfielders in the summer transfer window and I think we’ll be fine then, the owners need to give Klopp the money needed to fund that. We were better than Arsenal for an hour yesterday, should have won if we are being honest. I will join you in being happy when this season is finally over.

Benfica vs Inter
Man City vs Bayern
AC Milan vs Napoli
Real Madrid vs Chelsea

Some really interesting ties, should be enthralling viewing.

As for today, the odds below look too good to miss out on maybe.
Have you been on Anfield stadium to watch the game?
This was great comeback for Liverpool after losing with two goals in first half, but they could even win if Salah didnt miss that penalty in second half.
I think Man City was very happy about this result but there is more rounds to play and nothing is finished.
Liverpool doesnt have good chance to qualify for Europe next season but there is small theoretical chance.

I wasn’t at the game yesterday buddy, no. I thought Arsenal were brilliant for 25-30 minutes as they went 2-0 up. I think we were the better team for an hour though and should have won. What was Konate doing at the end, my Grandmother would have scored that. Salah needs to be pulled off penalties, that’s two in a row not even on target.

Arsenal get away from the jungle with a point. They have more battles ahead, it’s a fascinating race with Man City, it really can go either way. I don’t think Arsenal can afford to drop too many more points though because we all know the runs that Guardiola’s City go on when they can smell the PL title in touching distance.

@LFC_Bitcoin I believe that Mane exit really hurt them hard and even Klopp didn’t anticipate this downfall, but if he’s to reverse it then he needs a big war chest for the summer transfer window however I doubt that the current owners can grant him those funds. Lastly another option is to replace him and let a new coach work on the squad, but I doubt anyone is as good as him especially when it comes for the passion that he brings in Liverpool player’s.

Mane was a beast, I loved him as a player. You don’t know what you have until it’s gone. Our main problem is the midfield, it is totally flaccid, devoid of any quality when Thiago is not there.

All the Liverpool closely linked journalists are saying we will sign two or three first choice midfielders in the summer so hopefully that happens and we can forget about this season. Two or three energetic midfielders wouod
automatically fire us up the table. The rest of the team is fine, it’s just midfield.

As for today, the odds below look too good to miss out on maybe.

This thread is a real cesspit since the most recent bull market ended. The post quality and general fun factor has taken a nose dive. Sad because this thread was once the real epicentre of the whole forum. We used to have so much fun, from depressing dumps to euphoric highs. We were all in it together, sharing the same emotions.

I think since we all made it, the enjoyment and willingness to post here so regularly dissipated. Shit posting, broken English merit farmers took over and this is what we now have. Hopefully the fun factor returns as we enter the next bull market. I’ll be here as always, even if not posting I am reading.

$30,000 ASAP, I hope.

Big day of PL football, already one game completed as Man Utd beat relegation threatened Everton 2-0.

Just sitting down to watch Gillette Soccer Saturday with the following games.

Aston Villa vs Notts Forest
Brentford vs Newcastle
Fulham vs West Ham
Leicester vs B’mouth
Spurs vs Brighton
Wolves vs Chelsea
S’hampton vs Man City

Lots of important games at both ends of the table.

@PaxB_
Of 19.3 million #BTC , only 964k Bitcoin have been created since May 2020 halving. So basically 18.3 million were mined between 2009 and 2020. Still #bitcoin  did a $5 to $28k in last 10 years w/o being too scarce.

This scarcity doubles in 2024.

Hyperbolic possible @w_s_bitcoin

https://twitter.com/paxb_/status/1644152762576384002

@PaxB_
In March April 2024 halving, #bitcoin  becomes twice as scarce as Gold.

This scarcity keeps doubling every 4 years. Humans have never seen something as scarce like this.

So it's impossible to predict what happens next.
https://twitter.com/paxb_/status/1644161348874514435

@PaxB_
Efficient market hypothesis works only in textbooks written by Keynesians & taken seriously by kids.

#bitcoin  halvings are NOT priced in

Doubling scarcity every 4 years is NOT priced in

Adoption by big tech is NOT priced in

Just 1% global wealth in #BTC  makes it 18x from here
https://twitter.com/paxb_/status/1644168535478874113

@PaxB_
Here is the math -

Global wealth 900 trillion

1% of 900 trillion = 9 trillion

Current #bitcoin  market cap ~500 billion

9 trillion/500 billion = 18x

This is in today's dollars, so the gain would be real, adjusted for future printing 🥳
