BlackRock's Spot BTC ETF is a game-changer, capable of instigating an instant 150k #BTC  demand.

(Bringing at least $20B-40B in new demand)👀

Institutional FOMO on Bitcoin is not just possible, but a matter of time between 2023-2026.

Small to large nation FOMO is on the horizon, adding to the unpredictable yet promising price of Bitcoin.

Despite bearish takes on #Bitcoin  Twitter, the future growth of BTC is a narrative you can't afford to ignore.

I don’t think there is a better quote than the below to sum up what is about to happen -

“It might make sense just to get some in case it catches on. If enough people think the same way, that becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.”

Looks like the fourth day is going to be a wash out in the Ashes. It’s raining heavily, doesn’t look like we will get much, if any play today. England need 6 wickets with two days to get them. Hopefully the weather clears up and they can level the series tomorrow.

The rain delay can be a blessing in disguise for Australia. The way things are going right now Australia is in big trouble. They have already lost four wickets. Australia is still trailing by 162.  With six wickets in hand, it does not seem like Australia will be able to do a whole lot to give England a good target. It is going to be great for Australia if the fourth day absolutely washes out. Because if that happens, Australia can start playing on the fifth day and just play out the whole day. The equation is simple. If Australia has to play in the fourth day, they will be in trouble.

On the hand England would hope that the rain stops and they can resume playing. They currently have the upper hand in this test match. Winning it would give them a genuine chance of winning the Ashes series. However if this match ends in a draw Englands best outcome would be to draw the series.

Would be disappointing if the 4th test ends as a draw as it means AUS would retain the Ashes regardless of what happens in the 5th test. I don’t think even AUS would like to be victorious thanks to the weather.

As it stands ENG need 6 wickets. Hopefully they get at least the full day tomorrow to do that. Would be good to get a few overs today if weather permits but it’s not looking good at the moment.

I think we’d all be very happy with something similar to this in the next 1.5 - 2 years.

I'm curious which players Liverpool would like to bring into the team to take on Manchester City. To be honest I don't think Liverpool will be competitive next season. City will most likely dominate the league again even without great newcomers.

City will be big favourites for sure, they are losing Walker, Gundogan, Mahrez though. Bernardo Silva wants to leave too and De Bruyne is nearly 33. Maybe they peaked last season and will begin a small decline. It might not be enough to lose the title but other teams may get closer.

Regarding Liverpool, Henderson and Fabinho are leaving soon, both going to Saudi Arabia. I think a defensive midfielder will come in when they finally leave. World Cup winning midfielder Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai are already here, they will improve the midfield.

The Premier League starts again in 3 weeks. I’ve enjoyed the break after a poor season by Liverpool, it’s been nice to watch and gamble on other sports but nothing beats the bread and butter of top level, European football, specifically the Premier League.

Hope everybody is having a nice summer break but feeling refreshed and ready to get on with the real deal. I’m sure sportsbet.io can’t wait to start taking our money in 3 weeks Wink

Have a great weekend guys.

I'm not worried. Not at all. I'm just a little bored if I'm honest, and echo LFC's sentiment. That's really what my original post was about.

tl;dr: Just be patient and HoDL/DCA for 1-2 more years.

I don’t think 4 year cycles will be a thing forever. As the block reward becomes less & less it will have less of an effect but for now the halving in supply of newly mined coins does cause a significant enough supply shock to drive the price up through sufficient demand.

The current block reward is 6.25BTC and then obviously will halve to 3.125BTC in Q2 of 2024. I think we will still have a regular 4 year cycle this time. We should have a parabolic run this time, there is no COVID, China can’t ban us again Cheesy
A spot ETF is likely to be approved next year which will add fuel to the supply shock caused by the halving. I think we are looking at $200,000 or close to.

The 2028 halving will see the block reward at 1.5625BTC and I would expect maybe that to be the final 4 year cycle. From the 2032 halving the block reward drops below 1BTC so maybe bitcoin will behave like a more mature asset from then, less volatility and a more stable price. Until then though we will be seeing lots of uppity as our friend JJG would say.

Quick prediction time -

2025 cycle high (year after halving) - $180,000 to $250,000
2029 cycle high (year after halving) - $500,000 to $750,000

Bairstow! Damn! The man cannot catch a break. Both he and Kishan played really well down the order. Australia already lost 3 wickets courtesy of the W&W combo(Wood and Woakes) and Marnus is holding down the fort.

Anderson not doing his mate, Bairstow any favours getting lbw when the latter only needed 1 run for his 100. I don’t think he’ll mind though. ENG are in total control here. AUS face a battle just to make ENG actually have to bat again.

AUS 110-4 (trail by 165)

Moussa Diaby to Aston Villa, here we go! French winger has just said yes to Villa, he wants to join Unai Emery’s project — PL football as priority. 🟣🔵🇫🇷 #AVFC

Villa will pay fee in excess of €50m to Leverkusen for Diaby.

🇸🇦 Diaby picked Villa over huge bid from Al Nassr.

The Onana deal is finally completed for Man Utd then. I’m not too sure how much of an upgrade he will be on De Gea, he is prone to making big mistakes. It will take a lot more to make them genuine title challengers.

The signing of Gvardiol really strengthens the defence of City. They are losing Gundogan, Mahrez, Kyle Walker & possibly Bernardo Silva. It could be an open title race this season.

Official, confirmed. André Onana joins Man United on five year deal valid until June 2028 with option for further year.

Crawley 172 not out. What a piece of batting by the young man, incredible.

AUS in trouble here.

ENG 61/1 chasing AUS 1st innings score of 317.

4th Test is currently very competitive and finely poised. I’m enjoying watching this, we will know more about which way this is likely to go by the end of day 2.
