1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 07, 2022, 10:30:18 PM
Obviously Canelo has the advantage because he won the last fight, and if you will look at the previous post, you will see that Canelo is heavily favored in this fight. You can bet on Canelo to win, but mind you, the betting odds are very low, hence your winning will not be as much if you win.

Canelo winning in their rematch is not an advantage. How does it become an advantage for Canelo? If that was a dominant win by Canelo, no one will even bother to get this trilogy done. If it's a clean win, there should be no trilogy now but look at what happened?

This trilogy was being asked for several years now because that wasn't really a smooth win by Canelo. There are questions that needed to be answered and the trilogy will settle it all. It's always an advantage to Canelo that he's younger since I, II, and this upcoming III.

But watching those 2 previous fights, can we really say that Canelo has all the advantages? No.

Can't really say that Canelo alone has all the advantage in their 2 previous fights, GGG was much younger that time too that's why Canelo really struggled in the those 2 said fights. The first fight was declared draw and the 2nd was a majority decision in favor of Canelo but that fight doesn't show that Canelo is more dominant that's why a trilogy was called years ago but Canelo didn't let it happen as he quite knew that the score might be settled to 1-1-1.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 07, 2022, 10:10:52 PM
I think that's really far from happening and even if Amir Khan is overrated, Manny Pacquiao and his camp knows what would be the best for them. I bet they will only accept fights that will be more interesting and not a fight with just pure monkey business because that is against Pacquiao's stand in life.

It's more much ideal if it's Pacquiao and Mayweather even if I do not view the latter as one of the boxing legends but these two deserves a 2nd fight as they both didn't had the chance to have a rematch.
If there's a big money on the line and they try to cooperate again with Mayweather. I guess this is possible.

It's like the actual retiring match for both of them and sums of money is on the pot. I think for sure both of them will have a bite on it, most likely Pacquiao is an automatic yes on it.

But for Mayweather, there could be more conditions and more portions of the pot will go for him.

That's natural, we already know Mayweather and he surely wanted the bigger slice just like their fight last time when both of them are still fighting professionally, Pacquiao was only guaranteed 40% cut while Mayweather had the 60%. This time, I know that there will be a big money on the line, surely it's very rare these days to have an interesting fight in exhibition so I'm confident that people will surely pay for that seat.
1763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Be a Failure Even If It Hits $100,000, Says "Black Swan" Author !! on: July 07, 2022, 09:35:18 PM
You won't find a fail or success in bitcoin.

All you can witness is a legacy that bitcoin bring into our lives , no matter in term of funcionality , impact and various benefit.
Sometimes even if you clearly seeing a huge impact made by bitcoin ... it could still be considered as a failure at someone else point of view.
You might be right because people will never be contented in anything they are desiring , like at some point they are wishing this to reach 1k ,  then after 10k, and then now 100k , so what will be the next?
the only permanent thing here? is that what they wanted to see and bitcoin to achieve and when they fail, always the blame for bitcoin .

I seriously don't know what you're trying to say here but honestly, I don't think that the investors like you or me had ever made a wish for a particular and specific price and at the same time thinks that it will be like that permanently. Do you think bitcoin will grow in the past decade if that's the case? Of course the answer would be a big NO.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 07, 2022, 09:02:12 PM
So who do you guys like for next year? I am kind of surprised to see that they’ve (Vegas) already got the Celtics as the odds on favorite to win the championship next years. They just lost to the Warriors, and their second best player Klay Thompson was coming off major injuries and really wasn’t fully himself. I have to think he’ll be back to form or close too next year making the team all the better. I wonder if perhaps Andrew Wiggins isn’t coming back. Maybe that’s the difference.

I anticipated that already, I knew that the Celtics will be the early favorites to win the championship this coming season. Yes they had been defeated by the Warriors recently but they still got the experience needed so it's safe to say that they didn't lose at all. They will be back strong and now an improved experienced line-up.

For the Warriors, they will still get back on the top of the list if the trade will be settled. Bettors are still observing what would be the trade, Wiggins will surely go to waste along with Poole.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: July 07, 2022, 08:22:31 PM
I hope the police caught the guys who stole from OP. What can I say, my house is very secure and there was not a single break in attempt. It's good to live in a neighborhood where people have dogs and cameras everywhere.

My most expensive single win was close to 300 on blackjack in one day of playing. I bought myself a bottle of Jack (somehow felt like it matches the theme), got drunk and eventually gambled away the rest of the money Cheesy I've never bought anything big for myself from gambling. Investing is another thing. I bought a lot of stuff for BTC.

Perhaps your neighborhood can afford high-technology for security, but I think the burglar knew that OP was out of town for quite some time that's why the burglar decide to break into the house and stole his PS5 and other valuable items. I believe that our house will remain safe if there will be dogs living on it and the house won't have days that it's unattended so that the burglar won't have time breaking in.

In other words, the person who entered to rob his house may have been following him for a long time, and came to the point where the thief saw that he had not been able to go home for a long time, so he took the opportunity to enter it and that included the PS5 that he only used a few times, but you thought of a good suggestion that there should be a dog guard at home, I like what you said.

Dogs can be all sort of securities you needed, but that added security depends on how you teach/train them but for basics their presence in our home is already a threat to these robbers who may have targeted our house but they can't just make it happen as these dogs can be lethal too and their barks can be seen as alarm that an unauthorized persons are nearby.

Manny has shown old age and stiffness of his body he is good for exhibition matches only and for the sake of money not for another belt, he cannot keep up with the younger generation anymore.
The return of Manny Pacquiao to fight in the boxing ring at an old age it is not possible to snatch the belt from a boxer younger than him, maybe he noticed some stats records during his fight with Ugas and opted for exhibition matches only, of course for money not about belts because sponsors have to pay more It's high to reach a contract deal with 2 superstars professional boxers, but regarding the rumors for the list of opponents Mayweather or Amir Khan is very interesting to watch, we will continue to monitor the official news and hopefully it will be released soon.

Contrary to others that looked excited about the exhibition match between Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao, I do hope that won't happen. It's easy money for Amir Khan and he is not even close to Pacman's strength and fame. That's also an exhibition match and there will be no seriousness in that fight. What can we expect watching this fight? A staged one and scripted to entertain people.

If Pacquiao wants an exhibition make it to the point that it's against a boxer on the same level, Amir Khan is overrated and he should just rest at his home. Don't be like Mayweather that willing to go down in level for the sake of money.

1767  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Taking Loans - Is it ideal? on: July 04, 2022, 12:17:58 PM
It's not ideal but if you are willing to take the risk, it's up to you.

I know some people who are successful when it comes to investing in crypto and they borrow money or sell their property to reach the success they are enjoying now. They are risk-takers but I would not suggest following the same decision especially if you are not ready to accept the losses in case things won't go based on your expectation.

Invest what you can afford only, which means don't borrow to invest. Smiley
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Be a Failure Even If It Hits $100,000, Says "Black Swan" Author !! on: July 04, 2022, 11:41:34 AM
Bitcoin has already reached a current price of less than a dollar, I think it's already a success.

I don't know how people define failure but as an investor and bitcoin enthusiasts, we have our own belief and personally, I will not support anything that is not seeing bitcoin as a legit digital currency and as an opportunity.

We won't be able to avoid this, we will read positive and negative comments on bitcoin, it's only up to us on how we will evaluate things.
1769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 04, 2022, 11:10:24 AM
The purposed is for a reliable point guard that can serve a substitute with Luka to give him some time. The chemistry is also can be work out if they will push to this trade but I just realized that Kyrie has an attitude problem which might be bad for Mavs if Luka don’t accept Kyrie.

Kyrie - Westbrook is worst that Kyrie - Luka because westbrook is much more downgrade by Durant with same attitude problem with Kyrie. This will gonna an insane trade if Lakers proceed to this. Even Lebron can blend with him.

To be honest, I doubt that Irving is the kind of player that Mark Cuban would like to have on his team. So it's unlikely that we'll ever see Irving in Mavs uniform. As far as I know, the Lakers and Nets are already actively discussing the terms of the deal, and there are rumors that the Nets may get Westbrook, THT or Nunn and draft picks, while the Lakers may get Irving and Harris or Curry.

Irving will most probably going to land to the Lakers. I mean LeBron is very eager for this trade to happen. Rumors says, one of the major thing that's holding is the Nets demanded to trade both Kyrie and Harris, but the Lakers wants Seth Curry instead. This might be just a small conflict of interest as both party's priority is to get rid of Kyrie and WB.
Another notable trade would be for Nets and GSW, as KD would most likely to return to GSW in exchanges with almost all of the GSW's young talent including Jordan Poole.

Warriors have proven that they don't need Durant to win, so there's no reason they will trade their young talent in order to accommodate Durant. Also, that will affect the legacy of Curry as with Durant, his production might be limited since during the seasons that they won a championship with Durant, it was also Durant who is the Finals MVP.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 04, 2022, 10:05:43 AM
I believe Crawford is still a free agent. He doesn't have any promoter now which makes this fight and negotiations very doable.

But from Mayweather Jr. says, he will be the one to announced if the fight will be finally deal. I suspect that he might plays a big role as a promoter for Terence Crawford. There's no official statement though but all this speculations will be confirmed later on.

We can also speculate a lot with Mayweather's personality, his deep connections and influence in PBC. It is really possible that Bud already joined Mayweather Promotions secretly and might tell the public only when the fight is deal or after the fight. Or maybe Bud told Mayweather to help set up the fight against Spence. And if he can do the job then Bud will sign under Mayweather Promotions. Or maybe Mayweather is just talking to get some attention because he is scheduled to have another exhibition match. There's actually a lot of people talking with regards to the ongoing situation like Swift Garcia another PBC fighter.

We don't know what's happening inside unless they'll confirm our speculation.

Mayweather is a good promoter, he is like Bob Arum who values his fighters, so a fight against is a big gamble because the chance of Crawford to win is 50/50 or even less. Regardless, I think this fight is already due, fans are asking it so they have to grant it.
1771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading is good for traders with passive mindset on: July 03, 2022, 11:11:03 AM
Trading can be a hectic endeavor must, especially for those who are not persistent in their trading journey, but those who put all their time and mind into trading will develop skills over time that makes them more stable in trading. So in conclusion trading is for the passive mindset and not for the laggy mindset.
Day traders and long-term traders, both are profitable, depending on how you manage yourself.
Eventually, you will learn how to be consistent in trading and you'll achieve financial success as there's no limit in terms of profit in trading.

It will not give you overnight success, it might take years to learn how to be consistent, but as long as we don't give up, we always have a chance to master our skills and make our journey profitable.
1772  Economy / Economics / Re: How would a global economic recession affect Bitcoin's price? on: July 03, 2022, 03:20:59 AM
I heard it many times again, the global economy might struggle but bitcoin will always surprise us in a positive way.
What will happen is, if the stocks are dropping, investors who believe in crypto will put their money as it's not directly related to the global economy, and I will not even be surprise if that time we will again see a new bull run.
1773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 03, 2022, 03:06:14 AM
...., but what made me laugh was the news that Zion Williamson even without having played games he will sign a renewal contract and the contract value is 221 million euros, but you have some conditions: he will have to get into one of the All - Nba teams or be defender of the year next season, if he doesn't make it meet these requirements then the amount he will receive until 2028 will be 185 million euros, the contract extension only comes into effect in 2023.
The man may have some poor work ethics but he has an undeniable potential. He is yet to reach his peak and Pelicans management is probably thinking he could overcome his injuries. I thought they did well last season without his service so keeping him could make them a serious contender in a couple of years. Ingram + McCollum + Williamson on the court looks scary.
It's not a poor work ethics, he is just unlucky that he got injured every season, if he can pass at least one season and get in the playoffs, I think he will show his true potential. Looking at his stats,  you can really tell that he belong to the list of NBA active superstars, especially for the big man.
1774  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin scenario crashing to $20.000 - $23.000 on: July 03, 2022, 01:47:23 AM
Today the price is up about 2% but still around $19k, hopefully it will return to $23k tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, and the next target is July can return to $40k, nothing is impossible because rising tens of percent has happened and often happens in a day.
I don't expect a $40k soon, we are in a bear market so the price will likely go down. Actually, we can consider the current price as the bottom already as it's very cheap versus its ATH, but it's up to you. It's okay to remain optimistic but we have to understand the current situation and we can only do that if we are realistic.
1775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do real traders care about bear & bull market? on: July 03, 2022, 01:20:11 AM
I do not know what a "real" trader means, I mean I do trades, I am usually a long term investor but I do have a few trades per week, just when I think things are looking like prime to buy and sell. Does this market impact me? Of course it does, and it doesn't really feel like it is a special situation that only I feel, it must be something that everyone is feeling.

By "caring" do we mean that we stop or something? Because we do not stop but we do not like it neither. It's best if we could have a bull market because in that market everyone wins, but just because we are in bear market doesn't mean that we have to run away and hide and not do anything at all.

We care whatever the market situation is because we have a different approach to different market situations.

I'm also confused with the words "real traders" because though I would say I'm a newbie in trading, I already consider myself a real trader since I'm doing what traders are doing.

Bull market, opportunity to sell.
Bear market, opportunity to buy.

That's the simple principle I followed.
1776  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: July 01, 2022, 07:44:22 PM
I will rather not risk my information through KYC and if a casino is a KYC complains I will simply walk away from it and just try to lay my hands on some other casino that will not request verification. Am not free with KYC and that is because I believe crypto casinos should be privacy oriented.

Everyone expects the privacy of crypto casinos to be different from other casinos, but many times casinos take a hard line on kyc to meet the conditions of their licenses. You will find many casinos that do not make kyc mandatory, but you also need to be aware of their reputation in advance. Because after you deposit the money, if they lock your fund and ask you to give your personal information to kyc. Then you will be in the same situation as before. So it is important to research about the reputation of the casino before making a deposit, the subject of kyc is later.

If @RILWAN is indeed determined to play to a non-KYC casino then it's much better to deposit small amounts so that there won't be a big problem to look the other way if incase the casino will lock the funds and asks KYC to retrieve/withdraw the said funds. Unfortunately, we really can't do something about these things these days because they are just following the law in exchange for their license, that's is also why it's important to find a trusted and reputable casino if ever things like these will happen and the fund is quite big enough to surrender.
1777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Manage Gambling Addiction an Open Discussion. on: July 01, 2022, 07:22:12 PM
I think its very hard to change behaviors that turn into habits. Considering the fact that our body literally produces hormones that will effect our psychological health if we keep following our routine. Gambling as a habit is no different. Best way to finish this habit turning into addiction is to cut your brain wires symbolically. You should stop yourself producing that harmful hormone making you slave.
That is correct. Some habits are hard to change. Likewise it goes for alcohol addiction and same for gambling.
It can be controlled in early times. Like when someone is getting into it. It better to look at both the aspects of the whatever you are trying to do. But people want fun and that is all they want.

Just like what you said, people wanted fun and there are a lot of options if the subject is just to chase and have some fun but sadly vices like gambling and alcohol are the ones that people wanted to go into even if they already know that it is too risky to chase these kinds of things just to have some fun, people are literally finding the joy and fun in the wrong place and making it a habit will just make the situation worse.
1778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 01, 2022, 06:53:35 PM
There are rumors that the Lakers and Nets are working to finalize a deal. Supposedly it will be KD and Kyrie for AD and Westbrook plus a few picks and some $$$. This seems like an insane rumor but there are reports that they are close to a deal. KD and LeBron together would be something else. If that happens I’ll definitely be seeing a few Lakers games live next year. It would be the greatest pairing since Shaq and Kobe.

If Durant, LeBron, and Irving were on the same team, it would be the most dominant trio of the last decade. Although I doubt the Lakers will be able to pull off such a crazy deal. It seems more realistic to me that Durant might be traded for Booker and other Suns players. In any case, we will definitely see some big deals this offseason, given that many interesting rumors are popping up right now.

It will be an amazing and hard-to-defeat roster if in-case Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant will wear the same jersey as LeBron used to wear but yeah, that's just a hard thing to pull off. The nearest scenario that can happen is Durant on the Suns as today he requested a trade and preferred the Valley as a destination but I don't really think that the Suns will give up Booker that easily while Irving was on the table for Lakers trade.
1779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 16 on: July 01, 2022, 06:31:39 PM
@Vaculin, I hope this time we will really see a big knockout win by Garcia.

Sometimes, what he said is not going to happen in the actual fight, but I love his confidence, that only means he was disappointed on himself for not winning by KO in his first fight this year, so he wants to correct that with an impressive win.
I wouldn't call that confidence for now because he still hasn't shown us an impressive win and all the kid did was to bark and bark without actions and call out champions like Kambosos and now he's also calling for Tank Davis. He should just focus on his upcoming fight against Fortuna first and give us the result that we wanted before he starts focusing on a fight that is not yet possible in his situation.
1780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: July 01, 2022, 06:07:17 PM

That's really common nowadays for these legends to create their own company such as EFC by the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov, he's quite lucky to buy the GFC for $1 Million which now turned into Eagle FC which is now worth $40 Million. They need to take advantage of their name while they are still on the market.

Still, many fans still want to see Khabib fight, that is how popular he is, but we commonly see him just at the ringside along with Islam Makachev, and the recent fight of his Brother Umar Nurmagomedov but still I really want to see him fight 1 last time, even if it is an exhibition match only,

Well, there's still a chance to see him again in the octagon fighting because as I remember, Khabib said that he just wants Dana to show him some good match that will really make him step foot on the octagon once more. So, Dana accepted the challenge and thought that maybe Khabib would want to fight Poirier after he won by a TKO against McGregor but Khabib wasn't interested in the offer. Who knows, maybe soon we can see him doing one last fight even if that's an exhibition fight.
