Going back to Cavaliers? Nah, I don't think so.    Cavaliers were absolutely a special team for Lebron. But after he left the team the supporters didn't react very nice to that. I'm not expecting him to go back there from now on to be honest. If he suddenly decides to leave the team then I would like to watch him at one of the biggest candidates of the championship. Because Lebron is still very ambitious and he wants to be the champion still. Lakers can't give this as long as they don't make the necessary changes.

Yeah, I remember that some Cavs fans reacted quite inadequately when LeBron decided to leave the Cavs for the first time, and some of those fans even demonstratively burned LeBron's jerseys. Whatever it was, I also doubt that LeBron has any plans to return to the Cavs. It just doesn't make much sense for him because he's already won the title for the Cavs.

I just think that the only way Lebron could return there is that his oldest son is drafted by Cavaliers. In that case I strongly believe that Lebron would do everything to play with his son. He has already said that he would go to whatever team his son goes to.

By the way when it comes to a possible Irving - Westbrook trade I don't think very positive about it these days. Teams don't seem very eager about signing Westbrook as his performance is far away from his best times. Nets are among them too. Let's say this trade happened and Nets managed to keep KD at the team as well. Even then I don't know if we can see a great work by Westbrook-KD duo like in the past.

I read an article recently about the GSW management interview regarding Draymond Green possible trade since GSW has a lot to handle in there plate while Green is demanding a max contractthat will last up to 10yrs. The management is considering Green age will not give them the best benefit later on if they allow his request. They are looking for potential trade with Aaron Gordon since Gordon is still young and has a lotof room for improvement. Is this unfair to Green once this trade proceed?

I believe 10 years on a contract is a long time for Draymond Green, despite him being an important player for the Warriors I don't know if that would be worth the risk, despite he is already 32 years old.

But weren't there rumors that Green would sign a 5-year contract with Warriors?

A 10-year max contract, is that even possible? As far as I know, there is no NBA player in the history that was given a 6-year or more contract. I bet there would be no team existing in the NBA who would want to give their player that kind of long contract even if they are eligible for it because they don't really know what's ahead on the road, they will play it safe just in case their player cannot play anymore for the team. Especially for Draymond Green's case as he's already old enough, having Gordon as a replacement for Green will be practical.

I don't think LeBron would go back to the Cavs either.  For a lot of reasons.  His home is in LA now and that's where he's been raising his kids.  It's their home now.  Their connection to Cleveland probably isn't as deep as you think.  The Lakers have also shown with Shaq Jr (I know that's not his name) and Lil Pippen that they're willing to pick up second generation NBA players to give them a shot.  Neither was a major selection and neither is likely to make the team, but I think they did it to show to LeBron that there's a family culture on the Lakers he wants to be a part of.  Cleveland ownership doesn't even like LeBron.  The only way they'd draft his son is to use him as trade bait for whoever is trying to lure LeBron.

If Kevin Durant wants to leave the team then Nets had better let him go by a nice trade.

They like that, but does the other team who will receive Durant are willing to grant the request of the Nets, seemed like the Nets demanded a lot in exchange of Durant, so the trade is not happening until now. Maybe one more season with the Nets, if Durant will prove himself not getting eliminated easily in the playoffs, then probably some teams will be interested in dealing with the Nets.

The Brooklyn Nets have really no problem in granting KD's trade request, it's just that there's no team in the NBA right now who can meet the Nets demands in exchange for their valuable player because if the demands of the Nets are really easy to meet then I have no doubt that they've already finished the trade within a week because the Suns or Heat will gladly want KD in their roster, but as I said, that is if the demands is easy.

I cannot believe that something we talked about as a potentially a championship team, ended up not being even a decent team after just one season. With Irving and Harden and Durant, they looked like they were really good and ready. Harden went first (for nothing) and then Durant and Irving want out as well.

Fans are right to be angry, Nets did nothing wrong to these people and they took over 100 million dollars for just one playoff run that ended badly right away. I can't say good things about these players, sure Durant won a ring or two, but he has always been like this and Irving has one too and he deserved it but after that it went all downhill as well.

Has he been known for defending? I've always seen him as an offensive freak with minimum defense just like how I describe Curry's game. Maybe some would rate his defensive effort higher but most of his energy has always been spent on scoring.

What would be great is if his teammates could force turnovers from their opponent so he could have more chances to score.

I agree. The most likely scenario is that Lebron and son would play for one season only so it wouldn't really hurt Lakers or other organizations that would take them. He wants to enjoy his retirement year and I'm pretty sure he also wants to go out on a high note. I wouldn't be surprise if Lebron would accept a veteran deal with the team that would draft Bronny.

Agreed. It’s just good business. Has an NBA player ever came out and said before that his dream was to play with a kid fresh out of high school? It seems like a good bargaining chip to spend a late draft pick on. I have my doubts about how serious LeBron really is about saying he wants to play on a team with his son, but if he’s serious then Bronny should go top 3 regardless of his skill. Lol

And I'm just looking at the 2018-2019 records, ended up 6th in the Eastern Division with, D'Lo, Lavert, Dinwiddie at 42-40. They at least won 1 playoff win in the first round against against the Sixers. Compare it to the last season version of the Nets with Durant, getting swept by the Celtics, that's gonna hurt to Nets fans.

The longest contracts that has been given to a player are James Harden when he was in the Rockets and Damian Lillard. The contract was 6 years base on this article. It was posted in 2020 though but I didn't get any news that any player got a contract longer than 6 years in the span of 2 years.

I know how important Green is in the Warriors and he is one of their best defenders but to ask for a 10-year contract? I don't know if it will happen because the Warriors will not get any benefit from it in the long run. That's too much I think and the Warriors can't even give him a max contract (for now). He is 32 years old and a few years from now, he will be in the post-prime period and his performance will slowly decrease thus, it will not help the Warriors so it's a no-no for me and maybe it would be better for the Warriors if they will just trade him if Green will push what he wants. Kinda hurt but it would be beneficial to the Warriors management.

Yeah, we felt the hype from the Brooklyn Nets team and I am also a victim of it.  I watch most of their games but when I saw Durant and Kyrie not playing it felt so boring. As a TV watcher it makes you angry already, what more with those who paid for their expensive tickets just to see them play.

I can say good things about Harden because he has a goal during his Nets career. He was there, playing, even though the other two were alternately present. Then what he did with his salary proves it. He badly want to be a champion.

No, I mean they will always be targets in any switch because of their size, and like you said "known to be offensive freak only", he should learn how to make a quick switch too and give the offensive guy to a much better defender like GPII.
Steph did this before using either Iggy or Klay, but it should be fast and in synchronization or else the offensive guy will be free.

That's why I like the Trail Blazers roster now, it's not focused on offense anymore and that might give them the upper hand for being unpredictable.

Right, Dame needs to react as quick as he can. The switch may help him to conserve his energy and be more focus with their offense.

They have something to develop, chemistry, especially with new guys who will play alongside with Dame

It's more of AD, I will agree to that and if I'm not mistaken during their championship run, it was really AD as their first choice in offense, even last season. The problem is that AD gets injured more often and just play minimal minutes and not 100% healthy. If he will be injury free next season then good as he will get a lot of touches in the paint, probably posting some big men. And then throw it out to their shooters for open shot, even WB can be a good option in the 3's. Or the receiver can do a quick penetration for easy two or dunks.

They really have success when Davis is their main point in offense, Lebron is the facilitator just like Westbrook. That's why it's so much fun to watch them in their championship because everyone is running win Bron. But when it comes to half court offense, AD is their guy they put their play too.

And I agree with the defense improvement, they left other teams get easy point inside. Hopefully they will make the adjustments in their defense too. Just sad that they didn't resign Howard as I think he can still man the middle, block or change shots.

I guess that's why they got GPII, to be their main defender and can do the switch for Dame if needed. Yeah, I haven't seen Dame putting good defense, maybe just a few block shots from the guard.

But if we talk about his offense, he is as scary as Curry, he has multiple 50 points game throughout his career. Hopefully though, he is still in his prime and can get back after his injury in the coming season for the Blazers. They have made a lot of trades already so it should be an exciting season for them.

This is not a matter of talent or anything, I think this is a once-in-a-lifetime event where we will finally have a son and father in a team together playing in the NBA. As LBJ said, where will his son will be, he will gonna be there and it is his dream to play with Brony together. They may not get any championship because LBJ is already old but the memories they will create together are priceless and I personally support that, after all, they're doing this thing to have fun together.
