181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: July 24, 2020, 12:02:03 AM
I'll also vote for Mike Tyson. It's the name that I've been hearing since I was a kid. But with Roy Jones, he's also a great boxer with that record though I haven't followed his career. If this is just all about voting, Mike Tyson is my vote.

Voting and betting for Mike Tyson to win the fight, I'm not gonna make further research here, I'll just pick according to my bias mind.
The same as me, I'll go with Mike on this match.
Mike is my chicken in that fight. Both of them are strong fighters, both of them have good records and both of them have knocked out a lot of boxers but Mike Tyson have the upper hand here. I saw his current training regime so basically he is in perfect shape. I'd like to see his upper cut and left hook that knocked a lot of professional boxers. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who is really excited to see the fight.
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 23, 2020, 11:28:32 AM
Leaning Whitaker.  And prolly under 4.5.  Wink

Edit:  And it was leaked that it's Adesanya vs Costa at UFC 253.  There's a bookie that had Costa as the underdog.  Def going all over that the minute it's available at FJ.
I am also leaning towards Robert Whittaker to win the fight and under 4.5 rounds is a good pick considering the losses Darren Till had were by stoppages by Tyron Woodley and Jorge Masvidal in the second round.

With Khabib pulling out of UFC 253 Adesanya and Costa will be the main event and it will be one hell of a fight and Adesanya already went through wars in his UFC career and how long his chin will last is my doubt coming into this fight as Costa hits really hard.
I got surprised when I saw that the Khabib pulls out at UFC 253. My excitement goes down immediately when I heard it from the news because Khabib father which is coach died from the covid19 but Khabib said that we will comeback whenever he is ready. If the main event will be Adesanya nd Costa, I will make a bet in Adesanya becuase he is too good in octagon and he proved it in his past battles.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA indicates a bull run is coming on: July 23, 2020, 08:13:47 AM
Technical analysis can give us different answers because we have different styles and perspective when we use it. I'm a short term trader and I do not see any bull sign in the price so basically I do not put huge volume there but whenever I see good sign, I think I will add to my current position. Always remember that TA is not always right, it only give us an idea on what will happen and where the price will go.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to new projects? on: July 23, 2020, 06:24:35 AM
The new projects are keep failing one after another and for me it is expected because ICOs are now dead and many people do not want to patronize now new projects because of the risks. I experience to get scammed before because I thought it is a good project and it is the reason why I avoiding now to participate in new projects.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best eSports Betting Sites on: July 23, 2020, 04:27:54 AM
Did you guys try Stake.com and Pinnacle?
I have a great experience with the both mentioned websites and play continuously there. Pinnacle odds are the best and unbeatable. If you check the oddsportal, you can see the odds and juicy odds of compared bookies. As mentioned, Pinnacle leads as the first one, Asian bookies also have competitive odds market if you like to bet on betting exchange markets.
Stake.com is good when it comes to sports betting and when it comes to casino games but the problem is they do not have any esports betting feature. As a better in esports, I usually use gg.bet because it is convenient to use. I still not experienced any issues with it so for me it is good to use. The reviews of it from other gamblers are also good and that is why I recommend it.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: Korea proposes 20% tax on crypto trading starting 2021 on: July 23, 2020, 02:45:29 AM
I am not a Korean citizen but a 20% is quite high, the good one is that the Korean government sees that crypto will be something bigger than now so they taxes crypto.
In my opinion it could be that if this works to increase the country's income then other countries will follow the same steps by taking taxes instead of banning cryptocurrency in their countries
Even though it is a way for them to increase the country's income, it is still not right because it is really high. Actually the tax in my country for those who buy and sell stocks are only 12% of the commission of the broker so it is basically too low. I think many traders will be discouraged to trade cryptocurrencies because of too high tax. Imagine you are a scalper and you are keep buying and selling crypto in a matter of hours or even minutes and you keep paying 20% of tax, it is basically not good for me.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 23, 2020, 01:07:41 AM
They are confident, they are underestimating the virus.
They are underestimating the virus though but some people still going outside to do an errands that can't sustain their needs. No one is safe actually until the vaccine release globally. Once vaccine is out people can go to the casino but these days government allowed businesses to open. Must follow the precaution to be safe from this pandemic era.
We understand and know about it but for those people that doesn't have important things to do, they don't have to go out. But as for gamblers, we know it that they have to go out as we're not all the same that can allow ourselves stay in the cave for a long time.
Kudos to those scientists that are doing everything they can to create the vaccine.
For sure that all of the casinos in Las Vegas have strict protocols when it comes to social distancing in order to prevent the spread of the virus. There are a lot of gamblers around the world that are now starting to go again in casinos because for sure they got bored in their home in these past months because of the covid but they should not be happy in this current moment even though traditional casinos are now open because covid 19 is still a threat for them and they can get it from casinos if there will a asymptomatic gambler there. When the vaccine will be invented, for sure many people will encourage to go in casinos again.
188  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you estimate resilience of economy in your country? on: July 23, 2020, 12:04:46 AM
I estimate it depending on my bills and my grocery shopping list. If I am paying a lot more this year compared to last year (I am) that means I am getting worse and it makes things a bit harder because our pay is not increasing too much, it is increasing a little, we have to work a lot more and in return we are still paying a lot more anyway so our live quality is dropping.

Instead of working 6 hours and making the same amount of money and paying the same things and having the same life, I am working 8 hours and making a bit more but I am paying a lot more so even though I am working more I am still forced to cut down on some other stuff, I have dropped my quality of life in face of economical challenges couple years in a row now and it makes things harder and harder and it is difficult to enjoy life because of it.
The inflation is the reason why goods and services are keep increasing while the salary in real job is stagnant. I already quit in job long time ago in corporate world because I do not paid too much and I do not want comfortable job. Comfortable job will only give me comfortable life and it is not what I want. I want to have lavish lifestyle and it is the reason why I take different risks in the cryptocurrency market. The economy of our country is recovering a little and for sure it will take many years to fully recover. It is so sad to see many people lose their job while there is pandemic. The economy for sure will change not only in my country but in the rest of the world.
189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any way to out of this insecurity? on: July 22, 2020, 06:15:23 AM
As long as the crypto exchange will remain in the internet hackers will try to hack them. And they become successful sometimes for the poor security. If we don't make secure ourself we continuously will victims of these hacks. So what should we do. Use always most trusted/secured exchanges. Again don't hold your capital in any exchange. Exchange only for trading not for holdings your money. So avoid doing it and always hold your capital in an external wallet.
Exchanges out there are vulnerable to hackers even though they have really tight and high security. This is one of the factors why we should not see it as a wallet to save our coins there for a long period of time. What I deposit in my exchange is the money that I willing to risks, I deposit in my exchange there because I actively buy and sell altcoins and my goal is not to deposit there for a long period of time. For those traders out there, just choose an exchange that has high security in order to guarantee that your funds out there are safe and secured.
190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Signal Trading work for Cryptocurrencies on: July 22, 2020, 04:38:46 AM
First thing I will discourage anyone who are willing to buy trading signal especially for cryptocurrency trading. Because even their few signal become true but eventually you will regret from their signal when you will lose funds on a trading. What I had heard, most of people lost funds by buying signal and now they are trading themselves. Just imagine, if someone could give you perfect signal then they could make million dollars by trade themselves instead of sell their signal just for few dollar. So better avoid such as paid signal and learn as much as you can. Trade with patience and likely you will gainer than paid signal.
We should really discourage people who want use signals because majority of them or maybe all of the mare fake. I know the reason why many newbies wants to have signals because they think it is a easy money for them in trading. This kind of reason will lead them to become dependable on signals while they keep losing money, why will you join in a paid signals where you can incur more losses. It is better to trade with ourselves than to believe and trust paid signals out there.
191  Economy / Economics / Re: Very strange most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few on: July 22, 2020, 03:33:17 AM
Very strange thing i noticed: most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few

I think all clients i had from bitcointalk prefer to use bitcoin to buy services / products they needed ...

Not a single client that i had until now used altcoins like ethereum ,litecoin etc or tokens like usdt, usdc ....

Why do you think people don't like to use altcoins to buy things on the internet ?
What is strange about this you have said? Bitcoin was created first, every newbie that joins this community 90% of the time buys Bitcoin before considering other cryptocurrencies, so what makes you think it is strange that they are making use of Bitcoin instead of other cryptocurrencies for transactions?

Yes, there are other cryptocurrencies that are trying to compete and some of them claims to have better technology than bitcoin, but Bitcoin has been through so many tests, and it’s still going strong even at this time. The thing is, Bitcoin has gotten the most trust than any other cryptocurrency.
Actually the thing is many people are only aware about bitcoin but there are not aware about altcoins, observe the businesses that accept cryptocurrency in their system. They are only accepting bitcoin because it is the coin that they fully know and it is the coin that they trust. There are lack of knowledge about altcoins in many communities, many people see it a scam and only few people who knows the worth of it. For sure if many people understand and become aware to altcoins, they will also accept and use it like bitcoin.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 22, 2020, 02:12:02 AM

This could be a possible last fight between the two great fighters, so I expect they will reach a good amount of PPV, I don't want to talk about the figures here but I am pretty sure both will get a good payday especially to Wilder if he decides to retire after this fight if he will fail to redeem himself.
This is a over kill of the series as i was satisfied with two fights and everyone is convinced who the better boxer is and we do not necessarily want to see the trilogy and i doubt whether we will see more PPV sales than the second fight.

I don't think so, the first match was a draw(on paper), the 2nd fight Wilder loss, he had his first loss, so he deserve a rematch, this should be the last if he loss again and he deserve to make a good payday for the last time.  Grin

per contract also, there's a rematch clause, so Wilder can always demand, don't worry it won't take long when the fight happen, we will stop seeing Wilder in big fights, he might think of retirement after this.
Fury is the underdog before but now it seems that Fury has the upper hand. We saw what happened to Wilder in their 2nd matched where Wilder is really beaten. The next rematch is gonna be exciting because for sure this will be their last fight. Both of the fighter are hungry to victory and for sure they will bring the best that they can do. There still no official matched but if  the match will really happen then I will bet to Fury again!
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any successful and relatively new casinos? on: July 22, 2020, 01:05:14 AM
Luck.Games have good reviews so for sure that they have good services and of course rewards and welcome offers. When there is a new casinos out there, I do not play it quickly because I also hesitate sometimes and I wait for weeks and months for me to see the review of other gamblers. It is risky for me because there are some casinos that are relatively new that have problems when it comes to withdrawals.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: Did COVID-19 Bring Any Positive Sign? on: July 22, 2020, 12:03:09 AM
The outcome of this pandemic is not same for all of us so it is basically the perspective is subjective. Many people see the coronavirus as threat and the reason why they life are not good but I see the world differently, I see that this pandemic will bring opportunity for me and some people around the world. Actually my life is now better than before because I have now more time in my family and myself.

I can now also monitor and trade different altcoins because I have now more time than before. As a trader, the pandemic brings positive to me. What I said is just my personal opinion and experience. Your answer is different from mine and I think it is just right because there is now perfect answer and we have different perspective after all.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin Must Be Inherited on: July 21, 2020, 06:19:29 AM
As of now, I do not have any reasons for me to tell my private keys and password to acces my different portfolio and my wallets to my family or relatives because for me it is careless decision. You may have misconception but it is not that I do not trust my family, I'm just afraid that they may use it in not good ways. I know that we humans have not information about when we will die and it is the reason why I have now plan to write my private keys and password and I will keep it in my cabinet.
If in your family no one understands the use of cryptocurrency, then the key access you leave will not function optimally. Start educating one of the people you are closest to and trust, teach the cryptocurrency ecosystem, so that when you really "go" then there is one person who can use it well. It will function more optimally.

I share everything with my wife, I teach her about many things related to what I do in the crypto world. So, one day I "go" first, I feel calm because my wife already knows what she must do. We also keep all important notes related to the wallet in a book.
Yes it is good idea to share and to teach them the concept of cryptocurrencies and how to use it. My wallet have bitcoins and some altcoins and I also told them that when there is bad thing happens to me, just open the vault in my room and they will see my private keys around it. We should have copy of our private keys and store it in a safe place for us to ensure that our family can use it whenever there is something wrong happen to us.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It's always about your choice on: July 21, 2020, 04:29:58 AM
What makes a bounty manager better? It's not about the success of the projects they introduce, it's about

1. How the handle the campaign
2. It's about fulfilling what was promised to bounty hunters
3. It's about fighting the fair fights for bounty hunters

The success of a bounty project is not in the hand of a bounty manager, the ball is in your courts, you are responsible for the bounty projects you choose, if they fail it's never bounty managers fault. Always remember this.
You have found it right but can't just blame BM of what it happens to the campaign because they are also relying on the project developers. However, it is big factor that BM how will run the campaign and how they care for their participants.

We can't deny that even reputed Bounty Managers are carefull in choosing bounty offering but its like to see that they can't make it perfect and all will run smoothly. And that makes them sounded harsh when people put a blame with them because in the first place, they don't want it to happen. It is the project owners who have a huge control.
Shit campaign and projects are inevitable because even campaign manager is trusted, there is still a high chance that the project is shit and most likely a scam. I do not participate anymore in bounties because for me it is now a waste of time and effort. I allocate now most of time in trading because for me there are more opportunities on it. For those bounty hunters out there, be sure that you will pick bounties wisely because there are some that are scam so always caveat!
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto for gambling? on: July 21, 2020, 02:14:19 AM
We know because of the transaction fees at this moment why ethereum, XRP and eos is most commonly use of the crypto gambler when they are playing gambling because if they are using bitcoin the fess of withdrawing or sending is bigger than the altcoins so they are choosing alternative way to less that and that is good but Im still using bitcoin but sometimes only ethereum and Riple is my favorite right now.

Is there any specific sources where you get the info that ETH, XRP and EOS are the most used altcoin in gambling? Or it is just your own opinion because of its low transaction fee and fast transaction speed? There should be something like real researches on which coins are being used mostly in crypto gambling industry.
For me it is just a opinion and not facts because for sure that we are aware that BTC is the most commonly coin used in gambling. All of the casinos and gambling website are accepting it for sure because it is the most commonly used. Even though the fees are more higher than any other altcoins, gamblers like me are still prefer to use it.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in a wrong way on: July 21, 2020, 01:05:07 AM
Making a research really helps and minimize the possible loss but sometimes our research results are not always correct but it is better than doing nothing. Also, investing in crypto is not always about the facts. Yes, maybe you find out that some legit crypto like Bitcoin, ETH. But it does not means that you will earn from that automatically, crypto are moving up and down if you have weak hands you might lose everything, So patience is important here too.

There is always a risk behind investing, but as long as we can know how to prevent the risk or minimize the risk, we can try to invest. But the important thing that we must know is we need to have to allocate money that is not used for anything, so if something worst happens, we don't feel too sad. I agree that we also need the patience to wait for the price to touch our target price so we can sell the coin and make a profit.
The most important thing is we should know what we are into, many investors are just putting their money because their guts say so or there is someone told to do so. Our decision in investing should base on facts and legit information, for those who still making investment in different projects; I think it is better if you will lessen the allocation because are too high now. The money that we will put in a specific investment is the money that we can lose for us to have not emotional attachment when we lose it.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 21, 2020, 12:03:04 AM

They don't need to do that, they are already popular and there's no local league that are close to compete with the PBA.

More now that their rival MPBL is still looking for a channel to air their league, and even if MPBL will find a new home, PBA is still the better league as it's the biggest in the Philippines. I just hope they'll be back to normal that they can resume so people will stop thinking weird and they will not be affected by the covid-19 depression or something that could affect their way of thinking.

Let's hope and pray that we can surpass this, the economy of the Philippines needs to recover soon.
PBA is better because it is more popular than its rival which is the MPBL but it doesn't mean that the players in PBA are better than the players in MPBL. There are skillful players in MPBL that can compare or even exceed to the start of the PBA. I'm sure the commissioner of the MPBL will make a move in these months in order for them to have now to air in different TV channel.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: July 20, 2020, 06:19:13 AM
Most of our why for sure is to have financial freedom and time freedom but it is not simple to achieve it and for sure that we should work hard and to sweep our butt to do have it. But financial freedom is not only my goal and the reason why I involved in cryptocurrencies. I also want to learn much information about it that I can use in the near future. Right now I'm trading cryptocurrencies and I want to learn more and I keep studying to achieve it.
