4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of NFT on: January 20, 2023, 05:03:24 AM
As for my predictions, not all of NFT's will survive in the market and actually only few of them are been patronized by the investors and NFT traders. I trade NFT's in SOL and there are only few blue chip projects that are still alive in the market. Most of the NFT's in SOL are just pure hype and suddenly it will vanished like a dust. The good projects there are the DeGods, Yootz, ABC (currently in all time high), Okay Bears and Taiyo. DeGods have a token called $DUST where you can get it if you have their NFT. Their community is so strong and actually, they are the #1 NFT community on Solana.

The future of NFT's are great as long as their is a new uses, cases and hype. Take note that not all of the NFT's will be successful because majority of them are keep failing because of not good management, a whack developers and also the scammers. Choose a NFT project very well before you put your hard earned money.

I thought that the Lakers will going to Win but they fall short in the last quarter, I remembered that they almost surpass and lead the scoring board. Lebron managed to get 30 pts again but it is not enough to beat the Sacramento Kings. Lakers are now in the 13th Spot while the sacramento is in 3rd Spot. Their Lineup is pretty good in this season and they have a good chemistry.

Grizzlies Managed to get the W against the Cleveland Cavaliers, It's their 11th straight Win Shocked Ja Moranta got 24 points in this Game.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 18, 2023, 09:54:36 AM
I good investment is more preferably than kill your back on two or three jobs. The chances of failing on both due to exhaustion is more than becoming an expert in one job and earn more as a professional. Train one thing, become a master of it and set your own price for your work and experience. That is more stability than balancing between two jobs.
Unfortunately not all type of jobs are like that. If you work in service industry for example, being the best ever waiter couldn't really bring you to a great level, you can't really become great at it and then start earning a lot. Sure, maybe you get a lot more tips than other people if you are lucky but that's about it, it is not enough at all.

I personally believe that having a second job that has a skill set that can scale to a high level is a lot more important. Most obvious and common example of this is coding, I am not saying learn how to code, but have a skill like that, which you could scale to millions of dollars if you are great, and even if you don't, at least earn enough to supplement your income.
Some people don't understand that we can do side job where we can earn more by using set of skills, but these set of skills are unique that should be invested, researched and committed. I have a part time job where I only spend 3 hours every day and my salary is more higher than the minimum wage earner in my country. I do not want to exchange my time for small salary because I have unique skill sets that can give me more opportunity. It is really good to find a side job that is really suitable for you, just make sure that you can still have time and financial freedom if you apply for your side job.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McDonald's Metaverse or just a Hype? on: January 18, 2023, 07:40:34 AM
We'll have to wait and see what comes of their development.  I've seen Walmart claim they have a metaverse ready to go.  Now McDonalds seems to want to create something.  There's no doubt that issuing digital collectibles is a no brainer from their end.  They can give their customers value or even profits just for eating their food, and it will cost them next to nothing.  When you think about how they've been giving toys away to entice children to want to go there for decades, the idea of rewarding everyone with digital collectibles that are essentially free to produce is one that will definitely see it's day.  Will it be cool or a gimmick?  That depends on the reaction to it.

hmm..
thinking of it from that prospective..
well a real world happy meal which comes with a free collectible fortnight/minecraft gun/skin or VIP server access.. might tempt the kids to ask parents to go mcdonalds more often

lol you're wrong about that. that's pretty much the same as you ordering mcd online then the menu is sent to your house. There's no need for kids to ask parents to go to the Mcdonalds but what shall be done by the kids to order it through virtual cafe that will be made by Mcdonalds. that's pretty similar like you were ordering it online but with some visualizations.
These visualizations are the key for them to attract more customers to try to use their new business model and services. It's cool when you will order a burger through VR in your home, it's like you are in the real store. I also interested on the NFT's that they will launch because I'm a NFT guy who holds a lot of NFT. I also want to know what it is the uses of the NFT and if it is worth it to buy or not. If it is worth it to buy then I'll put spare money for it to not miss this kind of opportunities.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / McDonald's Metaverse or just a Hype? on: January 17, 2023, 03:31:17 PM
Mass adoption is happening again! We are seeing it with digital transformations and now we are witnessing it in the physical world. There is no doubt that mass adoption is the future and it is something that most of the businesses should strive to incorporate into their business model. Try to imagine that all of the businesses will start accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment even it has a high volatility. It's kind of heaven for me who really want to use bitcoin as payment.

McDonald's are now starting to have ideas to incorporate the metaverse in their business model where they can sell virtual goods. The McDonald's has plan to release their own NFTs and also cryptocurrency that may use to purchase their good and services. What a great time to be alive, It is good to see that a billion dollar fast food restaurant are starting to adopt the change. If the idea of the McDonald's came true, for sure that a lot of fast food restaurant will also copy them that may start the revolution where the mass adoption will take place. Many people will become interested on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency if this happen.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is investing in ethereum safe? on: January 17, 2023, 06:15:06 AM
I think Ethereum is definitely one of the altcoins worth investing in. In the past, I did not find it right to invest in any coin other than Bitcoin for the long term, but when I saw the thousands of developers working on Ethereum and some of the needs of the industry, I understood that it is definitely a valuable asset. Also, I think the important thing here will be the distribution ratio of your portfolio. If you think you have enough Bitcoin, it wouldn't be a bad idea to buy some Ethereum. Smiley
It is proven and tested in these recent years, yeah it is good to invest where in the ETH is not badly beaten like the other coins when the market collapsed last year. The only thing that matters is when to invest, you cannot just buy Ethereum right away without knowing you cut loss levels, the margin that you will put and also your entry points. If you want to make money then we should be aware on those points that I mentioned, because those are essentials in a long run. Planning is crucial because it can help us to grow our funds and protect our capital in dips and retracements.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: January 16, 2023, 11:19:04 AM
When you are in a situation which you do have a family and the expenses are really that big due to lots of children then it would really be that hard to make up some savings.
I do know someone who is really that reliant with his crypto earnings which is surprising and its been several years on which he had able to make money still despite on having no job
physically. It might really sounds easy to say that saving up some one third of your income but its actually that hard for it to be done when you are on such situation.
Unless if you do have other sources of income then it would really be able to patch up.

Other sources of income can give you that chance to save more, but the concern of having too much expenses means that you won't be able to work with it, unless you can really take things  seriously and plan all your expenses, most of the time there are emergency that you need to use your save money, things that is not part of the plan but it happen and there's nothing that you can do.
Being aware to your cashflow can help you manage your fund. If you know how much money that is entering your cashflow and the money going out from your cashflow; it can help you to make a better financial decision. If you have a high lifestyle, saving one third is not possible and that's why I preach to have a lifestyle that can help you to save more than 60% of your income that you can use to invest it not only in assets but also in yourself that can help you to make more money. Right now, I'm saving the 70% of my income and I put it on my investment where I can reap it in the near future.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana takes back top 10 position on: January 16, 2023, 09:52:05 AM
Could you do it now, OP? Did you buy SOL already to continue and possibly HODL it? It is one of the coins you could profit from, especially if you are talking about NFTs and some projects that use it. It will still do well in the long run.

It's good to practice getting interested in projects even if it has low value or went low. That's the sale that will be worth it in the long run.

As one of the high-quality projects, I am very optimistic about SOLONA, which solves the scalability of the blockchain. Although there may be some bugs, I firmly believe that his future is bright. The silence of the bear market is not indicative of the future. I hope that in 2023, it will bring me good income, after all, I have persisted for a long time.
What the hell is SOLONA? Is that a new token? Shocked

                 SOLONA

Kidding aside, the SOL is one of the leaders in the market. It is now up with 130% in just 2 weeks. It even beats the general market wherein the BTC only up by 23% in 2 weeks. I have a good bias with SOL in these following months. Today, the price is still competitive wherein its breakouts in 100 EMA where it consider as a long term resitance. If the price of the SOL stays above the 100 EMA then we should expect something good with the SOL. I have also bag of SOLs, I intend to long term hold it so let's see what will happen to its price in this year.

Bada bing, bada boom, don't mind if we freakin do 🥳

Biggo from @ClassyBeef was going off with this Starlight Princess Max-Win 🤑

https://twitter.com/Stake/status/1614564304425975808
Well that's just insane. What are the changes for that happening? I mean even the bet is big but something tells me it shouldn't be as difficult as to win in lottery, where the probability for jackpot is next to impossible.

And what vip level do you need to be to play bets on that slot with $500? I admit that i am not even at bronze yet, but my one bet limit with Starlight Princess is $125

He looks so happy Smiley.

It smells money, Shocked what an insane win for him. It's crazy to win that kind of money but it also crazy to bet $500 in just 1 roll. Anyway, he deserves it coz he is taking risk very high. Actually, my max bet is just $10 per roll because of lack of fund, it’s my first time to see someone who is betting in slot with $500. A big player with a lot of experience, anyway I will also experience that kind of bet limit.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 16, 2023, 06:38:05 AM
A side job actually makes life comfortable. A side job is like a two-factor-authentication. A side job protects you from raining days. It gives you confidence and hope that the next meal is assured in this inflation driven economy.
I can go on and on about the benefits of a side job, but I will stop here for now. A job is a sure way to financial stability, but it is dependent on how financially prudent you are.

indeed! there are so many benefits of having a side job. you don't have to worry if worst case scenario, you will be out of your main job. at least, you have something as a fall back and make sure you can still eat a decent meal no matter what. this is the trend nowadays, if you can get more side jobs, why not? in these challenging times, you need to be practical with things to survive. also, always think that you can't rely from others in times of crisis.
Side job is good as long as you have still time to do your responsibilities and other things. I'm a freelancer and I considered it as my side job because I have time freedom on what time should I work. What only matters is I should finish the work in the given time. Side job also helps me to be financially independent wherein I am no longer experiencing short in terms of financially. I have also now spare money that I can use in gambling and also in investing. If you have already a main job, I suggest you find a side job that you like where you cannot be stressed and feel excited when doing the job.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: January 16, 2023, 05:54:17 AM
There someone who is pulling the shadow behind and that shadow will not let the fiat money extinct and fully replace by digital money. That is the reason why a lot of government today are still not adapting and have laws and regulation regarding the ban of cryptocurrencies. Try to search in the internet the CBDC and the families who establish the banks that priting fiat money. They are the ones who are printing money that came from paper and ink only. That is the real free money out there and those shadows will not let the CBDC to come at end.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best altcoin to look out for on: January 15, 2023, 12:26:10 PM
Hehe..
Why is this so common with newbies more especially those that doesn't know the principles of the market. Could it be they are not confident with the price then or wanting to see some changes before they could go into it or just can't say.
I could recall a friend of mine then who have been wanting to invest in bitcoin which he always calls to know the dip part of the price so he could buy some fraction of it, whenever he calls, i will tell him yeah you can buy now because is at a good point were you could buy some reasonable fractions. Do you believed that he never took it serious till bitcoin gain back momentum then, lastly what he did was to say " Let me buy now before i would be left behind" and he did, surprisingly the price dropped, but i advised him not to sell rather hold.
Even if people like to think about themselves as rational individuals which take decisions based on logic, the truth is the majority of those people take decisions based on their emotions.

They refuse to buy bitcoin at the bottom or close to it because they are afraid of making a mistake, however when the price begins to go up that fear transforms and instead of being afraid of losing money they are afraid of missing out, the famous FOMO, also since many more people are buying bitcoin at the time they feel safer doing this themselves, this is similar to what we see when an ad on TV says that millions of people have bought a particular product, even if it is a lie when people hear this they assume that since so many people are satisfied with the product then they will be as well and it is safe to buy it.
Logic > Emotion, emotion base decision always have a bad outcome. When we are picking on something that we will put our money with, it is good if we have logical decision. Our psychology can help us to make money and it can also the reason for us to fail. It is like a double edge sword so we should aware on how to use it properly. Picking right altcoins is not easy that's why I always prefer to choose altcoins that have high market capitalization and also with a good movement in chart. I'm always picking altcoins that have been creating a series of higher lows and highs because those altcoins are usually having momentum that can give high return with just low risks.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: January 15, 2023, 09:07:45 AM
You posted in 2021, it's 2023 now, and the price of the MATIC coin hasn't experienced a huge price increase, so I think the reason is because the competition in crypto is getting tougher.
That is true, there are so many altcoins offering the same features to adopters that it becomes a big competition where no one is able to outstand among others at all, so ETH continues ruling the altcoins market. MATIC seems a solid altcoin, and might be a promise for the next bull run, although being realistic I wouldn't expect more than the price range it has already hit on the previous ATH, so there is a 300% profit potential ahead, while with bitcoin there is a 400% profit potential ahead to its previous ATH level. Considering this, I think Bitcoin is still a more reliable alternative, because the risks are lesser, while proportionating superior profit chance.
Polygon is one of the market leaders in 2023, you can see that the bottoming pattern of MATIC already happen 3 months ago. The price of the MATIC is also near the All time high so it only means that a lot of investors and traders are now getting MATIC as early as of today. Something is good in MATIC so I hope that the price will keep increasing in these following weeks and months. My bias is really good in MATIC but we have still long way to go so better to manage our expectations for us to not have high hopes regardomg the Polygon. Chart is still the king and risk management is the queen.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream has become a reality on: January 15, 2023, 06:43:42 AM
Glad to see that there are more people in all over the world are now starting to accept bitcoin as a payment. What a move by @Outhue, I'm happy that you already reached your dream by accepting bitcoin in your current business. I have online business and I only accept cash and some of online payments that's been regulated by the government so meaning there is no crypto involvement because of the platform that I am using. In the near future I want to hire a dev that can do it where I the platform that I am using can accept bitcoin.

The OP is so lucky because their country is crypto-friendly where they can fully use and accept it. In my country, only semi-friendly because the reputation of crypto has been tarnished by scammers all over the country and that is the reason why only few businesses are accepting crypto as payment.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: January 15, 2023, 05:33:14 AM
True it depends on your coin because Bitcoin and top coins like Ethereum or BNB are very suitable for long term investment,
so when we try to hold it in the long term of course it's not greed,
other than that storing shitcoin for a long time will only be a waste of time.
Not just your time will be wasted but also your money. Why invest in shitcoins if you can buy coins with potential to grow even it takes a long period to profit? The problem is many investors are still investing in shitcoins because they want to earn in a short period, so despite of the risk, they still blindy investing because of their greed. So the choice is up to us, it's our hard-earned money anyway that we'll going to invest.
some of those who trusted Shitcoin are the people with greedy attitude and mindset thinking that those coin can make them rich overnight in which mostly end up them being a loser and cry baby.
I believe that for them to succeed they must learn the hard ways.
correctly. if we realize that it is a fact that shitcoin is a coin that will only get a momentary profit and usually it is caused by hype. if a particular shitcoin doesn't get great hype, it's obviously just going to be 0.
This kind of thing is sometimes ignored by those who believe too much in shitcoin that it will soar like saving stones and hoping it will turn into gold.
like in the past few months there have been several shitcoins that are hype and are being talked about, at that time the prices became higher and starting today the prices started to dump. it has become one of the clear evidence that shitcoin is indeed not feasible for the long term and only for the short term or to get quick profits.
instant or overnight mindset, it must be avoided.
I don't invest in shitcoin because of my proven and tested system. When I was new in the market, I keep finding the next 100x altcoin and it is one of my regrets because it made me greedy and lose my capital in my early journey as an investor. Anyway I stop it and I just trade good altcoins with my system and I'm glad that it makes me a profitable trader. There are a lot of hype altcoins and we should avoid it, for those people who keep riding the hype then make sure that the money that you are using cannot damage your psychology and it is just a spare money because most of it are scams where after the hype, the massive dump appears.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can players bet on their own games on: January 15, 2023, 04:52:51 AM
If the player is allowed to bet for themselves surely will not throw their game, they will even try to perform their best because it has a double reward, the ranking, and the winning while on the contrary, if the player is allowed to bet on the opposing team or opponent, then this will only mean that the player might throw his game.

I believe that professional athletes are originally not allowed to bet either for themselves or their opponent because often times this kind of thing if allowed  gives negative impact to the game performance of a player but somehow there are cases where players are allowed to bet on other games not affiliated with them.
Yes, they can bet on other sports.
I like the idea though of letting them bet for themselves, it gives more adrenaline to the player/fighter to win the game/fight at any cost thinking there is also their money on the line.
But either that is not allowed by most of the sports industry organizations. Perhaps there should be revisions that could happen in the future as the gambling industry is getting bigger with easy-to-access online gambling sites.
The idea of getting more adrenaline from betting in their own game is good but I think it is not possible because of rules, I remembered the issue regarding 322 in DOTA esports where there is a player who bet against his team where he did a match fixing and throwing and it became the reason why betting on their own game is not allowed. For me that rule is good to avoid match fixing because there are still a lot of players and team who do this for money. I don't want to change the rule for the game to not be rigged in a scenario that organization or players may cheat and do match fixing.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading, is it worth? on: March 28, 2021, 12:11:07 PM
Definitely it is worth. But day trading is not very easy, tough. So you have to trade the day very carefully. Day trading should not be done without sufficient knowledge. Many do not want to trade long again, because they can not.In my opinion, there is a good profit if you can trade the day efficiently.
Well, that is right --it is worth it if you have sufficient knowledge and skills on it and of course, the most important is the time that you will perhaps spend on the day trading. I have heard there are too many traders that gained profit day trading, I don't know what is their technique or strategy and I admire them but the problem is I don't have sufficient time doing this and I am afraid if I will force my self I will be lost all my fund. However, if you are willing to risk your money and hoping that will earn it, that is good for you because day trading and gambling for me is almost the same.
Everything would really be accompanied by risk and its one of the most common thing when you do deal with trade and with the word day trade which means you would need to be active
which simply means that you would need lots of time for you to deal with it.Yes, this is profitable if you done it the right way but something risky that not everybody could able to handle off
This will particularly tested out your capability towards trading activity because not all would really be fitting out on this kind of trade. This doesnt only need sufficient long time
but also a very crucial when it comes to risk handling or management.
In my opinion a successful day trader should have a deep understanding of the market and of course have a lot of experience which will minimize risks and should do so on a full time basis.
It is not easy to become a day trader and must have very adequate skills, and use technical analysis, chart patterns and technical indicators in identifying trades etc., which in my opinion is very complicated.
A lot of people usually expect that they can earn a lot of money by becoming a day trader without knowing that they need a lot of skills and strategies to master first before they finally become good at it. It takes time and I do not talking about just days or weeks, I'm talking about months and even years of studying, backtesting and researching. Creating a trading system for day trading is not easy as you think because for sure you really need to work hard in order to become good at it.

There are now a lot of technical analysis lessons that we can find all over the internet and my advise for those people who want to become full time trader is they should first invest in their knowledge first wherein they should have foundation on what are they doing. Day trading is not easy but the rewards there are great so be sure that you have knowledge on it first before putting real money.
