181  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ Paradice.in | 🍀 Provably Fair Casino 🎲 | Big Faucet | 0.5% House Edge 💰| on: December 03, 2019, 10:00:26 AM
I just looking around to see your dice site and a bit laggy to see full page but eventually i can visiting it and recently i was try automatic bets using btc from faucet option and unlike other dice sites which i tried mostly have good speed for this feature but seems every rolls automatic bets from your casinos looks very slow for me however 0.0005 btc for withdrawal fee seems slightly high and is there any chance to reduce it

well having played some from the free faucet provided I noticed a few things
first of all , the rolls are slow , no VERY SLOW , I don't think it is more than 1-2 bets per second
secondly , the withdrawal fee of 50.000 satoshi is ridiculously high , there is no site that charging that much , most of them give you a choice between low , normal and high fee
but I have yet to see one that charges more than 20k fee on an average , you  should lower it  to be at least competitive in this regard
the free faucet is calculated , lets put it , in a weird manner , you can claim 100 satoshi , 1 doge , 3000 ethoshi or 15.000 litoshi , funnily enough , these are all different amounts Smiley
the all-russian interface is getting fixed , could not find any major bugs
there is autobet and chat and faucet , all in all your average dice site , nothing exclusive or special about it
didn't try to test  deposits and withdrawals if they are automatic or not because of the high tx fees , maybe next time
182  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-11-27] One Reason People Aren’t Paying With Bitcoin: Taxes on: December 03, 2019, 08:50:07 AM
the second reason is that people do not want to spend bitcoin expecting it to x100-1000
and the thought process is like this - I spend 0.01 which is 75$ now , but in ten years ,maybe this will be 750$

I don't buy this oft-repeated explanation. Who knows where the price and Bitcoin will be within a year, let alone ten years? Maybe if the price has dipped recently and someone's making a bigger purchase, otherwise 0.01 BTC is too little to worry about losing on a potential "10-1000" increase decade down the line. And I know Bitcoin has already increased 10000 between 2011 and 2017, but even now anything more than a 10x increase looks kind of ridiculous. It's not going to be increasing like it already did forever.

well , I often catch myself doing this and I'm sure others do as well
it is human psychology , there is no escaping it and bitcoin is too volatile to be spending it without thinking
we don't know where the price will be come next year , it is true but we secretly HOPE that our decisions ( to buy in this case) are correct and are reluctant to spend bitcoins
one more thing I forgot to mention , the tiny purchases like a cup of coffee I've mentioned -
add your transaction fees and the price goes up , while it is pretty negligible on the purchases > 10$ , but paying 2-3 bucks and then get "taxed" for 0.25$ by a tx fee , not too exciting
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Germany is going to be the Crypto Heaven but Russia Banned- What are the others? on: December 02, 2019, 09:38:01 PM
I have learned one thing - never trust news about crypto coming from Russia or India
the rumor is they are mulling the crypto ban , but they have been mulling it for the past 5 years
the russain papers have zero info about it , other than the draft of the laws that is not public
if it does exist than it is going to be sad news for the russians , they have enough restrictions in place with the digital money
some of the anonymous wallets like KIWI are being restricted and the banks are ordered to do more rigorous checks on the people who convert digital money into fiat
I hope this laws doesn't pass and there will be another five years of banning/legalizing crypto in Russia in the news
184  Economy / Gambling / Re: Supreem.IO Alpha 1.1// Multiplayer PvP Unique Game UPDATED on: December 02, 2019, 07:55:59 PM
What external source of randomness are you using?
Doesn't seem to be provably fair.
Read up on our post regarding this if you are confused what I mean by this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5194336
Also this isn't an attack, just trying to understand if there's something I missed here that makes it provably fair.

I haven't really tested their provably fair extensively
but at the first glance it looks like your standard server hashed/client seed combination and they do not use any external randomness sources
not sure about the nonces though , and didn't find how to change the client seed
here is the screen of their PF section :

if anyone would like to check their provably fair and post it here , will be appreciated
185  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ Paradice.in | 🍀 Provably Fair Casino 🎲 | Big Faucet | 0.5% House Edge 💰| on: December 02, 2019, 06:53:38 PM
probably fair typo made me laugh outloud , hope it is not a Freudian slip
as usual , welcome to the crypto dice land , where the dices are plenty and the customers are rare  Cheesy the rate at which the new ones are opening is alarming
going to check this one out since I'm  a sucker for the new dices
are you going to hold any promos other than the decreased house edge ?

registered , don't think I have seen this script before , the first thing that I noticed: you can claim a 100 satoshi faucet or ... a 1 doge faucet , which is 27 satoshi
the site is in Russian , even if you switch the language to EN it displays the menus and everything in Russian , might want to fix it
will post my impressions later

186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French National TV Starts Advertising Bitcoin on: December 02, 2019, 06:29:30 PM
I doubt its French national TV that advertises , they advertise it ON French national TV
and who does it , this is the question to be asking
the amount of money it costs to air such ads or a show is big and only rich companies or funds can allow it
if we knew who is behind the ads , would be able to gauge this companie's next move , potentially accepting bitcoins if it is some big name in the business
generally speaking , whoever adopts bitcoin first , I mean the country , they have huge advantages , like being a home to bitcoin exchanges etc.
kudos to France for joining the bitcoin lovers club
187  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betroar.io – Try Bit Brawlers! 💰 UPDATE 11/26: .001 BTC Airdrops Extended! 💰 on: December 02, 2019, 11:07:54 AM
well it has been over 16 hours since the bets should have been settled , they are in pending status for some reason
hope it gets sorted out sooner or later , a sportsbook should be way faster than that settling or  grading the results ,as you put it
12 hours is too much already , but as I said in my post above , the site is new and the growing pains are expected

wanted to bet on sports today , but it seems that it is not going to happen  Cry

The next version of the grading system is complete and will be rolled out today. Accuracy and speed should be a massive improvement

to update on my previous post:
all of my bets are settled and I have already bet for today , lets see if its going to be a profitable one Smiley
waiting on the new system , hopefully it will be faster and more efficient as promised
p.s. accidentally bet on half time instead of the match result , maybe drop the half time betting down the list , since it is easy to make a mistake like I did
188  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-11-27] One Reason People Aren’t Paying With Bitcoin: Taxes on: December 01, 2019, 06:47:54 PM
taxes would be the last reason to not be paying with bitcoins , the primary reason is the lack of businesses that would accept them first place
I would love to be paying with coins for my coffee , for example but alas , there are literally zero places that accept bitcoins where I live and only 2 bitcoin ATM
with atrociously high rates and when I tried to buy coins there it didn't even work  Huh
the second reason is that people do not want to spend bitcoin expecting it to x100-1000
and the thought process is like this - I spend 0.01 which is 75$ now , but in ten years ,maybe this will be 750$
the businesses that may want to accept bitcoins have to check the legal status first , in many countries crypto is in the grey area
for many it is not worth the trouble and bitcoin remains excluded from our day to day activities like shopping ,  Friday night parties  Grin etc.
189  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: December 01, 2019, 02:22:24 PM
a very important point , we all wait and secretly hope that bitcoin's price is going through the roof
while sitting on our asses or reading the news , lazily at best
adoption doesn't .. .adopt itself Smiley , you have to work , each and every one of us every day , promotng bitcoin , informing about it and the benefits of the cryptocurrencies our friends and relatives
it goes a long way , even if it falls on deaf ears in 90% of the cases , that 10% of people will be eventually doing the same , increasing the awareness
the more people know about bitcoin , not from this 2 minute tv show  , picturing crypto as something illegal or volatile etc. the more of them would want to read about it and buy it
hence increasing the price, help yourselves and others - tell about bitcoin to your relatives and neighbors, educate them and the results will come

191  Economy / Economics / Re: Does halving really create deflation? on: December 01, 2019, 12:24:25 PM
in short - halving is the main mechanism to create deflation , yes
in bitcoin ecosystem this event has very big impact on both the hashrate and the price of bitcoin
and usually , the price is not peaking before or during the halving , but its increasing eventually a couple of months afterwards
the not efficient and smaller miners will have to stop their miners and cease operations , thus cutting the flood of the coins to the market
since they have to sell fast , unlike big companies who could wait for the price they need
while this , in theory , leads to more centralization of the mining , it serves its purpose of the deflatory mechanism perfectly
192  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Satoshi Battles 🔥 Bitcoin based online PvP Game! 🔥 EARN FREE BITCOIN 🔥 on: December 01, 2019, 06:58:51 AM
Hi @OP today's date is 29th and the website still displays Coming Soon message. Have you guys finalized the date yet for the launch, I wanted to register on the website. Please update the info board with a tentative date for opening.

if you are interested in downloading their game you should follow their discord group since the game client link is posted there.

A PVP is not being popular to crypto games world I dont think if you can bring more player to try on your games but for me this is a unique concept of gambling games, will try later if theres no error on my smartphone by the way good luck.

the game isn't really a gambling game since it is not focused on gambling but more like a faucet but instead of just claiming the satoshi you have to kill monsters or doing PvP to earn satoshi.

the site is not available to register , it is in a beta still
why create a topic when it is not going to be available for weeks? or maybe months
was looking for another pvp gambling site and had to read through the wall of text , then go to the site to find out it is not ready
maybe post something like STILL IN BETA , Join our Discord  at the top so others don't waste time

the real question is - did he realise already that pvp games here are not very attractive? that he's just wasting his time if in case he will push thru?
most of the pvp game-related platforms here are not gaining players that can sustain their operations. so either they abandon or leave it as it is.
btw the colour combination of his site is not very friendly to the player's eyes...

I completely agree , there is a graveyard of failed PVP sites somewhere back there, pages 30+  Cheesy
I cannot name even five PVP sites that are popular , hell not even three that come to mind , maybe some CSGO roulette sites where people stake their gear
but these are not really  the crypto PVP sites , even if they allow to buy things for crypto

193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: December 01, 2019, 06:39:56 AM
governments don't care much about Satoshi , they care about his creation
if one day Satoshi comes back , this would make the news and become the hot topic for a day , maybe a week
and then it will all go back  to business as usual , our attention span doesn't last for too long especially when there are helpful news that feed us new events on a daily basis
I don't understand why people immortalize Satoshi , he ( or them , we still do not know , by the way ) is definetly a genius
but even if he came back now I doubt he could change anything , well apart from maybe selling his 1 mil coins

No one is going to sell bitcoin to governements or any governance who are trying to do the same as they did already before.

I'm not going to sell any.

really ? so how are you going to take advantage of bitcoin?
since the infrastructure is not ready and you largely , cannot spend it for the things you need?
HODL is all good and dandy , but you would want to sell them sooner or later or wait for years until there are enough retailers that accept it and many things could happen during these years
and when you are selling it how do you know who you sell it to ? might as well be government or services or banks or investment funds connected to both
we can buy as much as we can , it is true , but buying for the purpose of buying is silly - you have to profit in this way or another
otherwise you are simply supporting ideas without any gain
194  Economy / Gambling / Re: Live betting on: November 30, 2019, 08:25:54 PM

I think OP is looking for a tipster service that will provide assistance, guide or something along those lines in picking in-play matches.

As for the site, we already have popular sport betting sites doing live bets so it's easy to find.

I'm not sure if such a service exists. Beware of so-called supposed tipsters.

indeed , do not follow blindly the tipsters you can find literally everywhere nowadays
you can check the telegram groups that provide free tips , in my experience they work as good as the paid ones i.e. usually don't  Grin
I strongly advise you to study the sport you are planning to bet on first and then check and recheck and analyze any and all of the advice or betting tips you are getting

Google best sports tipster groups or channels and you will get a good selection of them , this way you can join several and then see how good their predictions are for a few days in a row
and then decide if it is worth using their tips in your betting

196  Economy / Economics / Re: Malaysia to Limit Cash Transactions in 2020 on: November 30, 2019, 01:57:03 PM
this is a weird decision if I ever seen one
I would understand limiting derivatives and electronic money but trying to limit cash sounds like a start of the Orwell's anti utopia
in a world without cash you can be simply turned off and won't be able to pay for anything
for example , the government thinks you are  a threat and you find your cards blocked , your accounts frozen
and you won't be able to buy food or pay for the bare necessities you need
I hope they do not go through with this ridiculous plan

just tried to log in to check if my bet was settled and .... looks like the site is down
it returns a 522 error on my end : https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/betroar.io
guess admin is sleeping or the site is under a ddos attack
in any case this doesn't add points to the popularity , hope they fix it ASAP
I'm always supportive of the new sites , but hours of downtime is something unacceptable

people who have withdrawals pending or not processed , please , try contacting support
the site is new and they offered a really generous bonus , probably got swamped with all the cheaters and legit support inquiries alike
give them some time and I'm sure they will sort you out
I am still trying to wager my bonus through , placed my first sports bet today
what I suggest you change - have the odds display in decimals/american  , because the -423 odds was confusing

Most people also do not mind KYC,,, in my opinion,,, they are only afraid that people will do things with their data

Isn't this sentence composed of mutually contradicting statements?

To me, if you are afraid that someone will be using your personal data (identity, etc) for their obscure, probably nefarious purposes (which is a reasonable and totally justified assumption in the Internet), you can't "don't mind KYC". The point is, you can be damn sure someone will in fact be eventually using the details you provide about yourself in the ways you may not quite like, so you can't possibly be pro-KYC in places like online casinos, exchanges, or in any other place where they ask you to provide personal data (no offense intended to WB or any other decent casino out there)
I think it depends on what you do for the KYC as well, we are talking about casinos right now I know that but for example on exchanges there are KYC because at the end they are legally bounded to governments that they are based on and that is why I feel like exchanges do not have any choice but to do KYC and that is not the same for the casinos.

Now, casinos are not really "legal" like the other ones, it is still legal but in a shadier grey way where they usually just have licenses in at weird countries like curacao or whatever and that is the "legal" way they are so they don't have to ask KYC to customers, yet if they ever want to be a more legit decent place, they could do places like from Las Vegas or Macau or Malta and I would totally agree to giving them my KYC if they are based on those places.

most people don't mind KYC? speak for yourself , I mind and almost all of my friends hate it with passion
it is not only to be afraid that your data will be used in nefarious purposes , it is simply defeating the main principle of crypto - anonymity
if I choose to show my face and reveal my personal info , I could choose dozens of other payment methods
in my opinion most of the casinos are using KYC as a predatory tool to not pay winnings
yes they are legally obliged to collect KYC , AML laws and such , but in reality all these Curacao , Macao etc. casinos are risking - their license revoked
