If you need an Escrow for it feel free to contact me  Thanks Alex, I trust IMZ enough on this one, but it's good to know you are willing to escrow on future trades. By the way IMZ, I have left for work, will be back home 1:30am GMT or whatever that translates to Aussie time. I agree, IMZ is great. Also, from my perspective, the reason to build the P2P network is so that an escrow is not needed. One of the main strengths of a coin is its community. If the members have experience / trust trading with each other, then escrow is no longer needed. I believe that building trust is a great investment for the community. |

If I ran an exchange, and had $12.7 million stolen from my investors...
I would report it to the police/FBI immediately... right?
They might have found the culprit 18 months ago, and returned the funds?
Perhaps it was an inside job...
Or just another episode of amateur hour? Who doesn't report a $12.7M theft to the police? Anyone besides a criminal? A criminal or somebody that has got a lot of other "matters" that they wish to remain hidden as well... |

When they changed the fee structure with no notice whatsoever and based it upon withdrawals and not trading, that was the ultimate red flag and final straw for me. It wreaked of an insolvent exchange
BINGO. That's when all the smart money left Cryptsy, honestly. Many of us were talking about it nonstop the past few months, as soon as they stealth threw out that bogus tier system I withdrew everything I had there. Even with BTC-e, I'd left hundreds of LTC sitting there, not Cryptsy. Immediately after the tier system then it was the constant withdrawal issues of larger amounts of BTC, for "KYC" or whatever. Once we figure out what's going on with our 7.6%, we'll rest even easier. Even if we weren't hit as hard with this, we still would like to see that all returned into the hands of users and not end up a flash cheap selloff dump for asset liquidation. BTC is doing badly with all it's bad news as well, about time to buy on both. I left some dumb money behind in Cryptsy in the form of 3 UN and about 775,000 MZC. Fucking Cryptsy. Any news on "Big Vern" ? Z @Z LOL those 3 UNO will be worth millions of USD some day! That's a loss! I lost a couple million MZC myself. Sounds cool to say that, but really doesn't amount to much BTC. @gustav welcome back! Hope all is well! |

Investing / restructuring / restarting Cryptsy is a fools errand and would take years to complete as the bankruptcy estate unfolds. It's tainted!
The withdrawals would be done so quickly the coins would vanish like a fart in the wind!

I didnt buy them, I had mined them but I do like their low supply. Yeah, I bought some (I don't have the capacity to mine) because of the low supply. Not big on the inflation generally, but it is fun to leave a wallet open and watch coin magically appear. LOL I feel like a central banker! I have seen articles about skyrocketing food and basic prices in Canada. Has the purchasing power of the CAD really gone down to a point where a box of Tide Detergent costs $30? Or, are those just FUD articles? |
