181  Economy / Exchanges / Re: All Exchangers scamming now on: October 25, 2020, 09:21:30 AM
How do you say that all exchanges are scam right now? Do you think that binance, bittrex and other top exchanges will lose their trust to the people if they turned into scam exchange? Of course, not! All of their effort and sacrifices to gain popularity will be gone, if they do it. Cryptocurrency exchange becomes scam when there are hackers that intercepted to their exchange or there is a inside job made by the member or the team of exchange. But not all exchange is a scam.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela Planning New 100,000-Bolivar Bills Worth Just $0.23 on: October 25, 2020, 09:10:34 AM
The more corrupt the country is, the more they need paper money. Corruption is simpler that way, including for government officials. The government flattens employees' salaries to maintain superficial control of inflation and allows for further negotiations, criminal activities. No punishment. Many government officials receive more than their own corrupt wages.
I agree to you! Only banks and corrupted officials are happy in printing fiat more. If there is a continuously printing of money, inflation will occur. The prices will goes up because the value of a product becomes more higher. It tends to create an economic recession when the country has high rate in inflation. This is not new already because we all know that even before, Venezuela is a country that has a lot of corrupt officials and printing of money is not new to them. In fact, if I remembered they already suffered from hyper inflation.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Abra CEO and founder Bill Barhydt now sees Bitcoin as a store of value. on: October 25, 2020, 08:52:37 AM
Abra is well known cryptocurrency wallet that founded by Bill Barhydt. Although, I used it frequently. I am really satisfied when I use that wallet. I think, what he has mentioned is just complementing to bitcoin. We all know that the best cryptocurrency that we can store our value is bitcoin. He just promoting bitcoin to the people because what he markets was listed or in its wallet already. We will more surprise if the founder of BCH do it.
184  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is KYC for crypto exchanges? on: October 24, 2020, 03:03:21 PM
Know Your Customer or KYC process is obliged by different crypto exchanges when you have large amount of money to be withdrawn in their exchange. It is intended for anti-money laundering and other criminals that might compromise the exchange. It is good for the security of exchange and people but it has also its disadvantages in the part of users.

It might lead your life in danger. It is really harmful when you don`t know where will your identity goes on. Even they kept on saying that the data of the customers will be secured to the site, there are still a chance that you will be harmed when you present your identity through online. It might also steal your identity by someone else and use it as a front for the crimes that they will do. There are a lot of reason why KYC is extremely dangerous and it was dictated in this thread made by 1miau.

185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just a Question... on: October 23, 2020, 11:41:00 PM
Stake.com has a telegram channel wherein they addressed here the events, issues and some promotions such as free giveaways. Well, I think it is way better than to post updates in discord than telegram because there are many scammers around telegram. In short, telegram community is more toxic than discord community. However, for good promotions. I think they have to consider the fact that they can attract more gamblers if they have a lot of social media sites. As we all know that telegram is one of the famous channel for promotions of products and services. Well, aside from that telegram has good bots but the people around it are too scary as there are many scammers who copied the name of admin just to scam the potential players.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: Lend at Hodl Hodl: True P2P Bitcoin lending is here on: October 23, 2020, 09:43:32 PM
After looking the site, I notice that they only support the stablecoins when it comes to loan. Actually, it is four stablecoins and the collateral is in BTC. Well, its good if there are still cryptocurrencies that the site will accept, such as ethereum and BCH. The problem with non-KYC loan is the security of the lender to be paid. However, because there is a collateral, it would be an assurance for the lenders to render a loan to the loaner. The interests from day 1 to 1 month is 2%, seem like it is enough and not hard to be paid.

BTC as collateral might be risky because of its volatility. There are people who probably loan during the heights of BTC so that they can paid it when bitcoin suddenly crash. Anyway, it is part of the lending in cryptocurrency.

asides the collateral what is the interest rate of the lend?
It depends to the period of settlement.

From 1 month to 3 months, 1% interest rate
12 months, 5% interest rates
6 months, 2.5% interest rates.

You can check it to the website listed by OP.

Anyway, loan in exchanges is not new to me since there are already exchanges that I used the marginals. TKP is also a p2p exchange which I used before that had cryptocurrencies collateral. Aside from them, I hope this exchange would go more far development. Thank you for sharing this information OP.

188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC PUMP, But Every other Coin Dumping!! on: October 22, 2020, 09:40:19 PM
This is what we called balancing the sats value in the market. I never seen to my entire trading history that when bitcoin increases, altcoins have the same direction. The thing is, altcoins does not moving down, it is just the sats value that rise. Therefore, we have to increase our bitcoin when we are trading altcoins as well. Because whenever there is a pump in bitcoin, our alts value will remain. Actually, after the run of btc right now. Altcoins will follow.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC PUMP, But Every other Coin Dumping!! on: October 21, 2020, 05:11:10 PM
For last 2days bitcoin is continuing it's uptrend run. It's close to 12000$ now. But why all the alts are going down? Especially the top alt coins which had a good price before the dump.
For example BnB was 31$ when btc was 11300$ and ETH was on 380$ when BTC was 11400+$ . Now BnB at 28.7$ and ETH at 370$. Any reason for the dump?

Right now, when I bought some sand coins in binance BTC extremely pump. It arise from 10K dollars up to 12,800 dollars. I don`t know what happened to it but the altcoins is dumping. In fact, we don`t know what we will gonna do in market than stay our funds in bitcoin. When btc goes up, alts goes down but when btc goes down, alts will follow. So, if you bought alts today swing trades is your best option.

192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling thoughts. on: October 20, 2020, 09:58:46 AM

Do you ever asked yourselves these things?
1. Which one do you prefer, Casino gambling or online gambling?
2. How much money are you willing to spend on gambling?
3. How do you manage your lose streak or win streak?
4. If you will have $1000, what game in the casino you are going to play?
5. What is the best advice that you can give to a gambler?

1. I prefer online casino right now because it is really harmful to move outside due to the pandemic. Therefore, it is more convenient to me to play in online casino specially that I only play for entertainment.
2. Less than 50 dollars, because I knew that i am not lucky in playing gambling. Although, there are times that I feel greed and lucky I prevent to spend more than what I can afford to lose. It is also my discipline when I am playing.
3. If I lose 2 times in a row, I do not play it and go back when I think I am good again in playing. But when I had my win streak, I play and play till I lose again. But most of the time, I do not hit the win streak more than 5 times above.
4. Crash and Poker games or roulette. Those are always what I play in gambling site such as roobet. But I will bet also in sports gaming bet whenever I have money.
5. Don`t be stupid, if you know that this is you unlucky day. Stop playing for a while. Don`t always think that you will win and don`t stress yourself because we play because we want to become happy and feel the leisure.
193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the crypto market saturated? on: October 19, 2020, 11:59:20 PM
Creating a coin to enrich yourself will stop when we stop giving them money. Right now, there is just too many projects that get money just because they are brand new and people do not want to miss out on the next bitcoin. If you invest into something brand new and spend 3 cents per token and it suddenly becomes 3 dollars, you are 100x richer, if it goes even higher you are going to be incredibly rich beyond understanding.

Obviously 99.9999% of the time it doesn't happen, most of the time it fails and becomes something shitty but people just invest into all of them to hope maybe one day it will become something. This means developers just create something for fun, get all the money, actually do give the tokens to people and leave with the money because why shouldn't they?
We only feed those scammers to make a coin again and again. If other investors only realized that selecting of coin is not based on hype and promotion, we can avoid scam coins in the market. Further researching and buying coins on proven exchanges are the best thing to do to stay away from shitcoins. If no one will invest in shitcoins, then scammers will not make a new coin day by day.

Well as I notice nowadays, investor tend to become more smarter in selecting coins that they wanna buy. I think it is the best lesson that 2017 crashed and scam coin existence taught to us. We must not be dependent in fomo or anything else in market because at the end of the day, our profits depend upon to our researches.
194  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner's Guide: Don't fall for DeFi-Airdrop-Scams on: October 18, 2020, 10:02:03 PM
Once again, scammer uses a very old and common scam technique. Send first and get something back later. No matter how much the contributed amount is (0.1 ETH in this scam), it is a scam rule to join a scam group.

If people always keep it in minds and don't let greediness blurs their minds, they won't be scammed.

I turn off the option to invite me to groups from Telegram users that are not in my contacts. Everyone should do this too because scammers join groups to get list of users in groups and send their scam invitations.
Its always been the issue in cryptocurrency industry, the scam giveaways. But unfortunately, there are still people who fall to this scam technique, thinking that who they are communicating is always real because of the profile picture and good words. It is really obvious that this are scam because they will not use your fund for something such as fund raising or investments. They just saying that you have to send eth first and they will give you back plus the interest. Only fool and ignorant will fall to that repeated scheme. But because of imagination (millionaire imagination) there are still blinded by this fake projects.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it just me or anyone experienced it as well? on: October 18, 2020, 09:06:15 PM
I've been playing lately dice game from different platforms and usually I use a strategy that I run in hours. But there are some point wherein the roll of the dice behaves unusually fast and results to consecutive losing that swept my bank roll and it's too late to stop the automated betting since it rolls too fast.
Actually, I don`t play dices because I don`t really want its feature and fairness. I tried in different sites where I play dice, but its hard for me to catch the strategy in this game. Most of the time, I play in crash and roulette plus other poker games. However, I think that was a bug to the site where you played. You can screenshot the bug if you found it again and try to contact it to the support of the gambling site you are playing. BTW, what is the gambling site that you are playing? I think you can say it here so that the other users that play it can share their experience relevant to your problem.
196  Other / Meta / Re: Is this giveaway allowed? on: October 18, 2020, 12:12:45 PM

Bitcasino.io did an altcoin giveaway a number of months ago & dozens were banned for 2 weeks. theymos later reduced the bans but I certainly wouldn’t go entering any altcoin giveaways any time soon Smiley

Edit - It was mprep who banned everybody.
i never noticed that giveaways to the bitcasino.io before. Well, it is too bad that some participants had been bad because it was an altcoin giveaways. Actually, I am ignorant when it comes in rules of giveaways because I frequently join in giveaways unless it talks about bitcoin or eth giveaways. Anyway, thank you for sharing that stuff. It will be automatically banned for users who joined in altcoin giveaway but what about the OP who posted the giveaway? Is there any consequences they would get?

198  Other / Meta / Re: 25 Messages deleted in one bulk. Why is that. Not sure what I did wrong!!!! on: October 17, 2020, 09:47:16 PM
as far as I know, if a thread was deleted everyone who posted on that thread even the one who created the thread won't get a notification message(I've had several threads of mine got deleted in the past and didn't get any notification). also, looking on OP deleted post on LoyceV's "unedited/deleted post" thread. you'll see that in most of it only OP's post was deleted and not the whole thread or he posted on a moderated thread.
That`s what I thought, it will be deleted without any messages or notifications that your replied or post was deleted. It may give you notifications when your message is directly deleted or report for some reasons.

Our message was deleted because of over-quoting just like what above said and sometimes we posted some irrelevant replied to the thread. It can trigger as spamming activity because we move to a certain discussion that the thread does not need. Sometimes, we can`t avoid that because our idea is subjected and we posted based upon to our own opinion.

Here is the tool that Loyce V shared in forum: https://loyce.club/archive/posts/
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: clearly we see btc price gaps getting longer and less traders on: October 17, 2020, 08:58:13 AM
snip

I think the OP is amateur at stock trading but noob in crypto space. He doesn`t even thinking that the market of crypto is different in stocks wherein there a specific time where the market opens and bur or orders will be set. Bitcoin has longer gaps because there is a slow pullback in the market. The price of bitcoin was increased for over the past few months and it usual to have a certain decline to its price.

I am not a pro in trading but I do not give advice which make fud to the market. If there could be less traders in market, that would be an anticipation for a breakdown. When the market is in down trend reversal and the volume gets slow, this is a good sign that the market is still in bullish momentum.
200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FREE advice for exchanges to make crypto trading easier on: October 16, 2020, 11:59:55 PM
If you are going to trade in cryptocurrency or even forex, you have to consider the exchange rates in your country, as we talk about the us dollars. It is not a big problem specially when you already know the conversion of these currency in your local currency. Having a local currency in your dashboard can help you if you are a newbie. If you want to be sure in your trades, you can compute it manually. I am sure that you are going to learn when you always trade that pair (BTC/USDT). We don`t need to have modifications to it as other amateur traders can trade without it.
