This coin has been solid since the git go.

where to signup for this? also, any bounties? i have always liked the idea of UBI so this is by default an okay coin for me

Feel free to use my referral link in my sig. Cheesy You don't have to, but I'd like it. Smiley

I sent some SLR over to Livecoin. Everything worked pretty smooth. I do have hopes for this exchange. Russian exchanges (I think they're Russian) seem to stay around town. BTC-e is certainly doing well. Their layout is logical, and everything is intuitive. I could see using Livecoin right alongside Bittrex for the foreseeable future.

Just my 2 photons. Smiley

BTCE is run in bulgaria and you really cant compare the two since btce has been around for over 6 Years. You have to think about the fact that they could have run off with 100's of million of dollars but they never did. They never did because they make so much money on fees. in 5 more years they will make more than what they could have run off with... Anyway Livecoin could dissapear with users funds at any time. But Im always very skeptical at first. it took me years to fully trust btce. And I still dont leave a lot of coins on there... I dont know why but I really dont like the first image that pops up on livecoin

Fair enough. I didn't trust BTC-e for quite some time, but from my experiences they've never given me a bad vibe. I'm just saying I hope Livecoin is just as stable.

Hey is anyone else having a problem with there wallet balance being wrong?

I checked my wallet on the SolarCoin Blockchain Explorer and everything is correct. But my online wallet is showing more coins then i have. I believe i need to just re scan because this happened one time before but when i tried to re scan it took over 1 hour and i finally gave up. My interest is working find so i might just leave it alone.

I also have 39 connections instead of my usual 9  Huh

It's okay to have more connections. It means more wallets are connecting through your firewall. I typically have near 40 connections on one of my wallets that I have the ports forwarded to.

The blockchain isn't going to be 100% accurate from your wallet because your wallet hides coins in different addresses. If the wallet is in synch and everything is working okay then you're fine.

I am some tired to see the Ethereum situation.

There is no innovation and responsibility..

Only hunger for Money.

I really hope to see real blockchain application...

NOT FOR pump and dump

Cheer up solar.

Many good things in the pipeline for Solarcoin. Search twitter, or just go to http://solarcoin.org/en/news/ for the latest developments.

Transaction ID is 1de6a4bb7efbb502b7ac4c47624dcef4e6c5a19fa37547124a6e9f3ab350b3e8
Send Address 8YUNcjCiSgUvP8EPxoR9wC7ccQ1DwU6Uf4

Take a look at the send from address also and see if the chain registers a debit.

How do I look at the send from address?

Thanks for the help guys, this is quite frustrating. Not sure what the deal is.

Both Bittrex and my wallet show 0/Confirmations.

UPDATE: If I rescan the wallet, the 5000 shows back up. However, as soon as I try to send it anyway, I get a conflict and it gets removed again... saying that its already been spent?

The send addresses will be your main receive address. It usually goes last in first out. It sounds like you may need to purge the appdata solarcoin directory, everything except your wallet file. Make sure you make a few backups of your wallet, then delete the files except your wallet file in the %appdata%/solarcoin folder. Reload the blockchain, hopefully this should fix the problem.

There is no way that livecoin overtook bittrex. They know how to fake volume thats for sure..

Why do you feel that Livecoin is a untrustworthy exchange.

Speaking of untrustworthy exchanges look at Polinex. They are going to list ETH Classic. I'm coming to the conclusion that polinex is a shady exchange. Your basically giving the DAO hacker a mechanism to dump his stolen ETH.

Oh wow. I wouldn't want SLR on an exchange like that.

Hi guys,

I am hoping you guys will be able to help or clarify. I just sent 5000 SLR to Bittrex and somehow it was sent without a TX free and now it seems to be stuck in limbo with 0 confirmations. Will these eventually return to my wallet? Can I delete the unconfirmed TX in any way?

Any help you guys can give me would be invaluable.

What version of the wallet are you using? If you're using an old wallet, the transaction won't go through. If you're using the latest wallet application that's not fully synchronized the transaction will be stuck on zero confirms until the wallet catches up. There's an option under File in the wallet to reload the blockchain and rescan the wallet. Sending a transaction without a tx fee is fine, the worst that would happen is it could theoretically delay the transaction but it wouldn't get lost in limbo.

Thank you for the reply, version is the latest as of 3 days ago.

It was originally sent during the blockchain sync, it has since fully caught up. I have reloaded the blockchain and rescanned my wallet and it hasn't fixed the problem unfortunately. Transaction still has 0 confirmations.

What's the transaction id and send address?

Looks like livecoin is moving up position at https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

Currently at no.13 and has even beat Bittrex

It also looks like solarcoin should be up and running there very soon.

That is becuase they are smart and decided to add SLR  Grin Grin Grin

I can see it happening. Bittrex doesn't have a bitcoin market to speak of, it's main source of volume is altcoins.

Steem on Poloniex today. Shady how they snubbed Solarcoin.

Simply don't have the volume yet imo.

Hello guys, we're thinking of listing this coin at our exchange. I'd be very appreciate if you give me contact of developers, we have issues with node setup.

Nick or someone from the foundation should reach out to them.  Also you should see if you can find anyone on the slack https://solarcoin-group.slack.com

Edit: I guess you guys answered my coin request  Grin

done.  livecoin now live.

Awesome.  They have a pretty nice site plus they trade fiat.  Seems to based in the UK so the cash providers aren't based in the U.S

I see SLR listed on the main page, but it doesn't appear to be active yet. I can't find it in the trade list, though the wallet is there. It appears the wallet is still synchronizing. I can't wait, another decent exchange, that's pretty exciting. Smiley

Unfortunately this looks very scammy if you ask me... You're right though, we need SLR on as many exchanges as possible. But our goal needs to be one of the top notch exchanges like bitstamp or coinbase  Smiley

Coinbase would be amazing. But in order to get to coinbase, Solarcoin has to make it to something like Bitfinex and show a high volume trade history. Unfortunately we're not there yet, but fortunately the foundation of the coin is being built, and it's beginning to grow exponentially. When the time is right, it'll find its way on larger exchanges. I'm still glad Bittrex has listed SLR for as long as they have.

Does anyone here even believe that expanse will reach $3 to $5 each ?

i dont see any reason that expanse cant reach half of the price of ethereum...    btw 3 usd seem fair price for expanse imho

No, it will reach and exceed half of the price of bitcoin... You fanboys are a wonderful source of amusement. Keep it up!

Source?

Anyone having problems syncing, had to power down my PC today and on restarting Im not able to get back in sync, Im just getting slowly further behind in the number of blocks.

Download the new bootstrap, rescan, or both. It should repair the problem.

I'm pissed at Polinex!!! They sat on this shit for over a month. I know I sent them a message about it and they never responded.

There will be bigger and better, it'll just take time. There are complete junk coins on poloniex. It's their loss.

Solarcoin is moving along just fine  Grin  Have you read the latest Solarcoin Foundation newsletter?  Some great stuff happening.

Long and strong. Wink

Good grief. I just read all of the news on Solarcoin.org, thank you for the heads up. Several huge developments released and Nick was quiet and humble as a mouse. Smiley
