Bucks -3.5 @1.88 vs Knicks
Nuggets -6.5 @1.85 vs Warriors
Lakers ML @2.26 vs Celtics

^^ Bets ko para bukas, sana palarin.

Merry Christmas nga pala sa lahat.

And it's going hard to sell if they push the AJ vs Wilder fight, I mean fans know that Wilder by this time is done already, he might still have that power, but if he can't hit any that he can't win this fight. Post fight, he said that he didn't know what happen, it seems that he can't pull the trigger according to him. And I remember coach Roach during the Pacquiao vs Oscar Dela Hoya that Oscar can't pull the trigger anymore.

So if boxers suddenly have that kind of experience and mentality, they could really be out of their prime years already and it could be a sign that they will have to retire for good. Not sure though if AJ vs Parker will push through in Saudi next year. So Joshua doesn't have a good dance partner and he should have fought Wilder way before when they are still the hottest HW that time. But they seems to not want to, until Fury come into the picture.

Wilder, according to compubox hits only 9 out of 219 (correct me if i'm wrong) power punches, that's awful. Parker exposed Wilder big time and if ever Wilder fight one more time, his opponent will definitely use that Parker template on how to defeat him.

Parker ruined the Saudi party, that's Wilder's fight to win but it ever the Joshua vs Parker fight pushes through, this is also a good one. Good tune-up fight for AJ before ultimately facing Fury in the "Battle of Britain".

^^ Whoever organizes that "Day of Reckoning" event must be so rich, i mean that is like an All-Star event in basketball.

Yeah, Joshua's confidence is back with that TKO win, there are rumors that he will be fighting Filip Hrgovic next, must be a good one also and he is successful on that hurdle, "The Battle of Britain" should be next. I'm confident that Fury will be successful in unifying the belts against a smaller Usyk.

Bivol also have a fantastic performance, looking sharp as ever. Hope he will meet Canelo at 168 without that rehydration clause.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 24, 2023, 03:10:33 AM
I won't be betting in this fight. If I have to make a bet, it should go to Inoue, but it is almost not worth betting for him. With the moneyline odds of 1.04, who would grab that? Even if you go for the winning method to take advantage of higher odds, the probability is that you would go for Inoue by KO. And that's only 1.17. Even that is not worthy for me. I'd rather just watch the fight.

What I'm hoping for is that Tapales is 100% ready and that he won't be psychologically or emotionally affected by his opponent. If Tapales has 100% confidence in this fight, he will definitely be able to give a good fight. Even if he losses, at least he gives Naoya a run for his money.

There's another option if you don't want the ML odds for Inoue and you are confident that this will end in a knockout, see below. But as for me, i have a feeling that this would go the distance because Tapales is 100 percent ready for this fight and he trained for this for almost six months. So with that i'm betting that this fight would go over 7.5 @2.20.

185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder Vs Parker & Joshua Vs Wallin Boxing Mega Saudi card 23rd December on: December 24, 2023, 02:19:33 AM
Here is the recap of this big event

Anthony Joshua def. Otto Wallin via fifth-round KO
~snip~
Unfortunately, Wilder could not deliver, he was looking to land that huge right but unfortunately, Parker's defense did not allow him, Joshua - Wilder is now hanging in the balance because of this, maybe a Fury - Joshua is more realistic if Fury beats Usyk in their coming fight I wonder where will Wilder after this fight he will have a hard time climbing into the top rank because of this huge upset.

With that KO win of Joshua we could now expect a fight between him and Fury if the latter will dispose of Usyk. Though Wallin is not a tough opponent but that KO win has somehow give Joshua some confidence that was not in him for a long time since that defeat from the hands of Andy  Ruiz.

What could be next for Wilder. is it time to hang the gloves for good? That fight was for him to win but upset happened.

Lets see on how long that Tapales would be able to handle those solid body shots from Inoue. For sure he do make out some preparation on how he would really be avoiding that.
We do know that INoue is really have that power and speed on which it is really just that right that they should really be that careful into this one.

He can't handle it if he would allow himself to get hit by Inoue's solid shots. Tapales needs to assert his power to Inoue as well so Inoue will not just bully him in the fight. If Tapales will hit Inoue and Inoue felt the power of Tapales, that might make Inout not too aggressive and he'll just play the chess game.

With that, I believe Tapales would last in 12 rounds and there's a possibility that he can win the fight.

Giving Inoue high confidence early will only make the life of Tapales miserable in the duration of the fight, so he has to be careful, his movement should be well calculated.

If i were in the corner of Tapales on fight night, i would advise him not to respect too much Inoue's power as that would game Inoue the much needed confidence on the fight. I know that those body shots are lethal but he should also avoid those and counter whenever he can. Easily said than done but this is the only way Tapales would win the fight, be aggressive and not just be on the ring to survive.

This is very risky but if you have a good spare, who knows upset happened and make you some decent profits. Good Luck Kabayan!

Every bet is risky as we never know the outcome of the game. Magnolia looks obvious to be the winner but upsets can happen anytime, and the fact that we are discussing about rigging of games here, then it's one of the factor to consider if they really want Converget to win.

Upsets do happen every now and then especially in this game of basketball. End of the first half now with Converge having a slim 3-point lead but that lead will be erased once Magnolia will go full throttle in the second half.

Have managed to bet for Magnolia while on the halftime break, Magnolia -6.5 @1.82.
189  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: December 23, 2023, 11:20:58 AM

Parang laro din to eh, game of runs, kaya samantalahin na natin hanggat buwenas pa.

Nuggets vs Nets - Nuggets -3.5 @1.79
Kings vs Suns - Suns +4.5 @1.81
GSW vs Wizards - GSW -10.5 @1.76
Dallas vs Rockets - Dallas +9.5 @1.85
Sixers vs Raptors - Sixers -7.5 @1.83

3 out of 5, pwede na bai hehe.

But watching a game with a bet will give you some anxiety and out of concentration feeling because you weren't able to watch properly because you were thinking and focusing who will be the winner, right? I agree that people will learn from their past mistakes but sometimes even if they experienced worst cases, they still continue doing it, repeatedly.

I got your point mate but in order to have closure on your bet, whether you or you lose, you must check the final score. Yeah, you can't concentrate on your work or whatever you are doing if you have bets going on but you will learn to adjust so as to not get distracted by the thoughts of having a bet, I mean you will get used to it.

193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: December 22, 2023, 11:38:02 AM
^^ There could be barriers, but I think if this manager and boxers wanted to get a huge paycheck, they will have to work with each other. Sho is no longer there, so DAZN should make everyone comfortable now as they could be the only network that can broadcast good fight.

And this is why the criticism about boxing in the last 10 years or so that it is dead as the promoters and network affiliations are the ones killing it.

But if they wanted to make money, for sure there are some middle ground that they can do so that we can witnesses good fight that fans wanted, not like exhibition or cherry pick fights.

Bottom line, boxing politics sucks. They prevent us from watching boxers fight on their primes vs another championship caliber boxer.

As what i have read and understood, Haney and Ryan Garcia is in the negotiation table per both boxers, hope they were saying the truth. If materializes, Haney vs Garcia could be a blockbuster as needless to say that Garcia has a lot of followers, though winning against Haney is a slim possibility but the money will pour on this fight, that's for sure.

Missed to post but i managed to secure a winning bet on the first game today on the game between NLEX and Blackwater. Have bet for NLEX -3.5 @1.82, very close game until the end, luckily the Road Warriors managed to pull away for the win in the dying minutes of the ballgame.

Meralco vs Ginebra on the second game, must win for the Gin Kings but Meralco is hungry for the win either so i will be backing the latter ML @2.02.

Good luck on your bet guys.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: December 21, 2023, 12:32:36 PM
And with that, as champion, Matias has been in the radar now, and for sure next year there will be some sort of unification fight at 140 lbs as there are a lot of big names in this division, including Keyshawn Davis putting his name in the mix.

As per Haney, negotiation is ongoing for a fight with Ryan Garcia which coincides with what Ryan brags on his social media account. Haney is not keen on a unification fight, he wants a money fight which I think Ryan Garcia will give as the latter is famous online. Though on paper, Garcia will be the huge underdog here but with his newfound defensive strategy I think he can handle and may defeat Haney if those power bombs would land on Haney's body and chin.

Heto picks ko:

Magic -4.5 laban sa Heat
Cavs -3.5 laban sa Jazz
Pacers -7.5 laban sa Hornets

Congrats bai, 2 out of 3, di na masama, profit pa rin kahit papaano.

197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teofimo Lopez Vs. Jamaine Ortiz WBO Welterweight Title February 8 on: December 21, 2023, 12:05:20 PM
Anyhow, back to Teo Lopez, he is now the lineal champion at 140 lbs and so he will likely to be the man here unless Ortiz suddenly become a great fighter at 140 lbs.

I'm expecting Lopez to win and then continue his reign and go after Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney.

Looking at the record of Ortiz (17-1-1), i don't think he poses a threat to Teo Lopez. He is not a knockout puncher so even if he hits Teo with solid shots, i don't think he could rattle Teo. Anyways, this is a good fight as to keep the lineal champion busy next year as a fight with Ryan Garcia or Devin Haney is looming in the horizon.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 21, 2023, 10:52:36 AM
A pressure for the handicappers? Lucky for those who turned agaisnt Magnolia as what you mentioned,  they let DYIP to score and cover the handicap,  they just aimed for the win and stop putting that points for the score board, which is unusual I mean not for magnolia,  as I said they are known to cover the handicap especially if they are in the lead.

That rig issue for some bettors will come up and we can't blame them to think that way, but nothing that they can do but to move forward, just another day to reassess for the next coming games.

I thought that was money in the bag already as who would have thought that from 30 point lead, it goes down to just 13. I'm not a believer that there are riggings in the PBA but with what happened last night, I'm starting to believe that there must be something wrong with that game.

BTW, before that game started there was somewhat an acknowledgment that "Arena Plus" is one of the sponsors of PBA, what a coincidence.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 20, 2023, 01:14:37 PM
Keep holding @bisdak40, we got this!

Lol, yeah, I think our bet is in good hands now as Magnolia's lead almost ballooned to 30 points. DYIP has no answer to the balanced scoring of the Hotshots. Tyler Bey I think is a good candidate for this conference's Best Import Award as he average a double-double every game.

They say that it's not over until it is over but with this one, money in the bag for Magnolia Hotshots and a win for both of us @Sanitough hehe.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 20, 2023, 01:03:24 PM
Time flies, the wait will be over soon as we will have a great christmas present watching this fight.
As to the question if it's entertaining or not, obviously the answer is yes because these two champions are aggressive, they aren't boring to watch.
Honestly, I'm a bit worried on Tapales here as he might be over confident that would lead to being careless. Knowing Inoue's power, Tapales should be careful and has to remain a counter puncher, and to be able to do that job effectively, he has to gain some quickness.

Six days more go and it's fight night. This fight will not be boring for sure as both fighters are explosive. One fighter is going to kiss the canvas soon, i just hope that its not Tapales who will be lying in the floor being counted by the referee lol.

It's a good thing for Tapales that Nonito Donaire has some advice on him on what to do because, at one time, Inoue has almost suffered a defeat on the hands of the Filipino Flash.
