181  Other / Archival / Re: Pay for Your Passport with Bitcoin on: November 13, 2020, 04:12:54 PM
Bitcoin is slowly adapted by the community and it is a matter of time where people will decide whether to use the fiat currency or the cryptocurrency. This like a centralized currency mix by the decentralized currency. For me, this is not a bad idea because there is no perfect system if it is an absolute like absolute centralization system the same thing with absolute decentralization system (vice versa). A good system for an efficient and effective system to be used should be a mixed of decentralized and centralized system.
182  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about crypto profit on: November 13, 2020, 04:00:37 PM
FOMO - I think this is one of the reason that people still invest in bitcoin even at higher price. You know that each time bitcoin can go higher because there are many people wanting to own bitcoin. More and more people will going to own bitcoin and the result bitcoin will become expensive over a period of time. Buying now is never a problem unless you just want it to hold for a long time and probably you can see or witness a good market price of bitcoin in the future.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 13, 2020, 03:52:40 PM
Maybe time will come and bitcoin will do this with peer to peer transactions within landbase casinos within Philippine's jusrisdictions.
Crypto lovers will surely love seeing their coins being available.

Once this online betting begins to executes all available channels for digital transactions will be open including cryptos. Only time will
tell if what will be the next fate of gambling industries inside the this country.

Yes, bitcoin will be useful as I had stated in my other reply that whenever a gambler wanted to have a privacy or away from the good for nothing speculator that like to witness every big bets visible by the use of the chips as token in betting. Bitcoin will be an ideal substitue as chips and are online and not physical where you cannot also share those spectators a tip or there are really spectators that are asking a small money after someone win huge and that if bitcoin will be replaced they can no longer identify who were the gamblers winning big profits in gambling.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Blown Gambling Facts on: November 13, 2020, 03:42:31 PM
Well according to the Family Code, the property relations of the husband and wife may either be:
(1) absolute community property (ACP); (2) conjugal partnership of gains (CPG); and (3) separation of property. Also like what you have mentioned, the marriage settlement MUST be executed prior to the marriage and it begins at the exact moment of marriage. The rule that I have mentioned belonged to ACP, in which all the properties of the spouses will be shared equally.

The main point here is- you may execute a marriage settlement before the celebration of the marriage and you may stipulate any exclusion of properties or anything for as long as it is consistent with the law and is according to good morals. So if you want to specifically exclude your gambling earnings to yourself, then put it on the marriage settlement!

Really? Is there a gambling profit being made to gambling activities in the long run? I doubt that its not true unless a guy like having a good luck in betting will be able to get a good profit. If that's so then I guess the same rule will apply when sharing of properties and the equivalent value of it after divorce. All properties, asset and cash will be share fairly when it was accumulated the time that they were being married it is called as conjugal property own by the couple. But if the asset, property or money own by someone before he/she got married then it will not be shared because he/she owns it before the marriage and it is not a conjugal property.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 13, 2020, 03:35:16 PM
Remained discipline and you'll be able to recover if you will learn from your mistake.

Winning and losing 10 in a row is possible in gambling, so 2 losses is not hard enough to get back in a positive track.

Your bankroll management is required and should be followed at all times to ensure you will last longer in sports betting, without the discipline, you will not succeed even if you have to start with a decent bankroll.
I think discipline will not work when your mindset is to recover. There is only a slight chance to recover losses and that mindset of getting recover losses is a bad idea. In most ways a good discipline is all about hoe you bet. If you lose accept that you lose and never count it for it will only add motivation for you to play more in addition to your mindset of recovering losses. So, a better gambling discipline is to get fun and excitement and do not let gambling activities compromise your priority.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 12, 2020, 03:19:17 PM
That actually a good news but here in our country the vaccine is not available to all and our president had already announce that the front liners and the poorest if the poorest will be the first one to receive the vaccine. It means that the vaccine is not available to all but in the future it will be depending on the supply also and the capacity for the government to buy for that vaccine. Hopefully it will going to start soon so that we can go back to the old normal which I really miss.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: November 12, 2020, 03:16:19 PM
It depend on the criminals actually and If I will be the criminal then I will prefer to use cryptocurrency for protection from getting identity. There are exchanges that are actually not mindin for KYC and this is the ideal when using bitcoin. I think mostly of us here hate KYC and that is why there are secured wallets not asking for your identity for you to remain as anonymous.

However, cryptocurrency is not yet fully and most of the criminals do not know about this so this could be the reason why criminals use the traditional method use of fiat currency.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 12, 2020, 03:04:25 PM
Well, it is difficult to explain when to buy or not but you too made some sense in your list of when to buy coins. In my own opinion buying altcoins will be good when bitcoin market is bad or also crashes. You can see that all or most of altcoins will going to crash more than bitcoin did. But when bitcoin did recover it will also be the fastest one to recover and I do believe that ETH is like that. ETH bad market is when it reach 100$ + and that was worst now if you had invested in ETH then you'll getting 300$ from your 100$ investment per eth
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I 'delete' useless tokens from my wallet? on: November 12, 2020, 02:59:30 PM
No you can't all coins are using blockchains and that will keep all the records in publi by just using blockchain viewer like for eth network, the etherscan.io. BTW, why you want to delete your coins? Are these shitcoins that has no value and are from those scam projects? If you do not want those coins or not wanting to see those coins then create a new wallet. It is more easier not to see them visibly by creating new wallet rather than sending it to someone else wallet.
190  Other / Meta / Re: Is this place ever going to get a mobile view option? on: November 12, 2020, 02:49:44 PM
Well, that could be nice if there is any of which bitcointalk.org can be view on mobile. I do believe that there are many mobile users here in the forum and I am one of them. It left me with sometimes difficulty while browsing in the forum. Using of mobile phone is more comfortable for me as it is handy wherever I go I can access the forum and can participate in the discussion through mobile. I guess OP you should move this thread to meta section so that it will going yo be visible by the admin

2. Humility and attitude:

This is important to our lifes. It takes you closer to your luck or being lucky as people would say you are a very lucky person but it is this that is operating.

This is the part that I like the most with OP, having been good around in the forum could avoid you to get any arguments from other members. This is the most important part to being a member in the forum. However, not all could do this and there are few that are reall rude. Even the newcomers or low rank members are bully too when there are post that they don't like.

So, hopefully the members that are able to read this post might get inspired as well and instead of negative criticism why not post a positive criticism to uplift morale here in the forum.

BTW, congratulations OP. Never too late to grow and that you had prove it!
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 12, 2020, 02:29:38 PM
Not all the time that employers will understand the employees, sometimes employees also needs to understand as the business would only be able to pay their employees if they are operating profitably, and we know in the pandemic, a lot of businesses are affected, including the casino business, and most of them are just operating for survival and they are not really making the kind of profit they are enjoying before the pandemic.
Yes but the thing is, if their contract says that they will be having atleast limited leave with pay then the company needed to pay them for that, they are working to earn money for their needs and family, they are not charity workers that it is okay for them to not pay them, but yes due to this pandemic many of the establishments closses, so I think instead of not paying them, why not shorten their time period , and hire for part timers.
This is actually a big challenge on the casino owners out there with cost cutting in giving salaries or forcing out the employee to take leave without pay.  Due to pandemic the number of customers are limited like 30% of full capacity of casino are allowed to go inside and that will also cut their profits. This pandemic is an unexpected to happen and no one had prepared for this. Maybe next time if another pandemic will going to happen casino owners or the regulators should passed a regulations to avoid something like this to happen in the future.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling = just for fun or an investment method? on: November 12, 2020, 02:13:15 PM
It depend on what type of person are you in gambling, If you are a gambler then definitely gambling consider as  for fun or might be the opposite depending on the way you are betting. However, if you are a business owner or wanted to be part of those who run gambling or betting platform then you are an investor. Anyone has common sense can answer this. I think the best deal in gambling is to invest. This is one of the business that has a good return or profit compared to other investment opportunities.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Prop Bets - Where to bet them? on: November 12, 2020, 02:08:11 PM
My Sportsbook right now is stake.com, could any of you recommend a book that has a good selection of props for NFL Games?

You will have a hard time finding a lot in crypto books, as you already witnessed. Bet365 is the go-to place for traditional bookmakers for these bets and as a fiat-crypto-hybrid bookmaker I would recommend to take a look at betonline.ag.

Its been very hard, I thought Nitrogensports.eu used to have props, but now since the site got all changed its been a mess and props seem to have disappeared also.
Bet365 was my go-to-place, its just since Im from Germany I pay the 10% betting tax... that hurts!

Thanks for the help and reply!
Well, they are doing their business and that maybe 10% isn't only composing of tax rather it also made some part of commission for the company and tax. 10% is just too big for tax alone. Betting with high deduction is not likely a good betting but it is like stealing from you on what you deserve after risking your money. Anyway, your government should also have a good protection against any irregularities from the betting platform I guess.
195  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panahon Na Nga Ba Maging "Cashless Society" ang Pilipinas? on: November 11, 2020, 04:03:01 PM

196  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: My Plan if ever happens again ATH on: November 11, 2020, 03:57:20 PM
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is EOS going to be next Ethereum? on: November 11, 2020, 03:32:39 PM
High chance that EOS can surpass eth with its faster network and lesser congestion for now because there are only few projects that are using eos network. I had also read other's comment regarding the eth 2.0 update which has been said as completely fail. Well, I know that the eth upgrade was plan of course there are just sometimes problems arises anytime and I do believe that it could be resolved after the ETH upgrade.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin will die then crypto market will die confirm! on: November 11, 2020, 03:00:26 PM
All crypto in the market depend on bitcoin unless other crypto will step up like the possible cryptocurrency to be issued by the government. High chance that even without bitcoin these kind of crypto will survive within that country on where it was being created.

Yet, bitcoin really dominated and all other crypto in the market are altcoins only to bitcoin. If bitcoin will be losing its value (which will never going to happen)
then all altcoins too will going to lose also its value.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know the difference between Bitcoin and bitcoin? on: November 11, 2020, 02:53:42 PM
Well they are actually the same. However, I also get your point here that the lower case b and uppercase B for bitcoin has different in meaning when use. Bitcoin is a noun that could be use to name like Bitcoin system.

bitcoin is a unit. 1 bitcoin.

I think this is the only difference OP wanting to pass on but because the forum is not strict when it comes to the use of grammar and not all here are native english speaker so those words had been use interchangeably. Am I right?
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum wallets - Email-password generated accounts on: November 11, 2020, 02:00:21 PM
Good found OP, I think this could be useful in the future. This is still subject for improvement but I do believe that google wallet could go farther and could also influence a lot of people out their as they had a vast of audience or users in their platform. It could also be use as a way to get payment for their platform. As we all know that google too accept payment to sites that needing their platform. This is a good move and hopefully other social media platform like youtube, facebook, twitter and etc. will follow.
