The next big coin will be XC. Speed of progress there is scary. Do ya have a roadmap? I think the speed of progress for xc is correlated to the hype of vrc right now. I hope. XC crashed so hard at the beginning that I am not even looking at it again, the same for BC. And as we see this coins cant have much support after those balloons popped ! They cant even be pumped now. so rev 2.0 for XC and blackhalo and night trader for BC couldn't give them a good pump? BlackHalo and Night trader isn't released. |

I had talked about this before and every seller should be able to pay an additional fee of 1% to prevent all unauthorized transactions. This will solve 99% of all chargebacks. PayPal then calls up the buyer and verifies the buyer made the transaction. Seller has absolutely no responsibility for unauthorized transactions. Seller still has to deal with "not sending disputes" and "description not matches."
But the majority of scams are the unauthorized.

VeriSend fees will never disappear to dissuade unnecessary use (it clogs the blockchain). VeriBit fees were reduced to 1 VRC and max limit set to 1 BTC. Oh that wasn't my question. What happens to the fees? It's not transferred to a wallet right? They're destroyed from the system? |

Finally!!  We are still on low volume, we will go much higher when we are back at 1-8k BTC/dayly levels Well it's different now. There's another altcoin that has made significant gains so investors now have to choose. I definitely have my fingers crossed they will pick us. |

Having been there -and angrily antagonizing IE's in many of his enterprises, especially in his attempt at community manipulation of the market-, I happen to strongly disagree: IE's promotion's of BC MADE it and took it all the way to 95k. Logically when he took off, the coin suffered because of The Black Hand squeezing every single potential profit from investors.
I don't like most of what IE does -20% and pushing it- but he does good stuff promoting coins. I don't care for his irascible attitude and diva-like heated reactions who happen to hurt people including himself, but he made BC, everyone knows that.
I must add that I so strongly disagree with him not returning the donations for laziness that for that he has been included in THE WALL OF SHAME.

I strongly disagree with IE as the sole reason for taking BC to 95K. He contributed, but there were other people involved. How about making sure BC had no hidden premine or PoS actually worked. Everyone takes those things for granted. You shouldn't be talking about this in a Vericoin thread. |

I don't understand the price of this coin? Why is it so high? There are plenty of other coins that are superior to it that have a smaller market cap

As for the price being high, the coin is being pumped and dumped at the moment by the Black Hand, an organized group rather infamous. Besides that, it is the first coin in cryptoland where the three developers have come forward with their real names, one of them a current programmer at one of the Microsoft's divisions. Logically that "first", along with the perceived qualities present and upcoming, have put a stamp of all around quality quite uncommon in the world of alts. Black hand destroyed blackcoin, they will do the same to this. Iconic Expert destroyed blackcoin. You need a history lesson. Whoa! Hello! Blackcoin is still around! Destroyed is a little strong. Let's see what happens when the latest project is finished. |

Wow! How in the world will you bet able to set this up given the credit card fraud? Not that it's the user problem. I'm just curious how that will work. Coinbase has a very extensive security process. Will Vericoin be the same way? And will this be decentralized and automated? Wait, buying VRC with credit cards???
How will this avoid the chargeback problem that plagues crypto purchases with credit cards?
There's a reason you can't buy BTC with credit cards, and it ain't cause no one 'innovated' it.

Am I only imagining or is does mintpal have an extremely annoying bot going on? The same sums start continuosly blinking for a second, on and off, up and down, whenever I put a top order. It makes trading unbearable. No human could continue doing this for hours and hours nor could be fast enough.
