182  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] @manhunterBTC promising 10% daily return! on: January 03, 2021, 09:22:41 PM
That was exactly my thought, but based on those few posts that he made since he reactivated it seems to me that it could be the same person. In the end, whether account changed the owner is not so important as it's simply impossible to trust anyone who offers you 10% daily profit.
Completely agree with you and his activity should be monitored. It doesn’t matter who is controlling the account but it mattera what kinda investment scheme he is offering.

Since @manhunterBTC failed to provide any reasonable explanation and because I think that anyone who invest in this scheme will loose the money, i am raising the flag against him. Please support

Flag Type 1 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=2566
Flag supported from my end and i hope other DT members will all submit their support to keep newbies safer. I will tag the user profile shortly.
183  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] @manhunterBTC promising 10% daily return! on: January 03, 2021, 04:42:53 PM
"Rikafip" you have done a impressive job by detecting this user and his self running ponzi. I hope newbies will be aware about this after reading the topic completely.

This account probably changed hands or it was hacked recently and he woked up after long period of inactivity and changed email address/password.
Nothing coming from him should be trusted and his 10% daily return is a scam with gift cards.
Stay away
Yeap,,,you are right. Just checked his trust page now and got that he woke up after long period of inactivity. Even his password has been changed. If i am not wrong then account ownership has been changed and he is trying to make some easy money by offering 10% daily return.

I am not ready to accept baseless explanation about the unrealistic return that he is offering. In a situation like this every newbies should maintain proper distance from yhis user which will keep their money safer.

Note: Newbies please don't run after this kinda offers and visit this users trust page before making any payment.
184  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet SCAM! - withdrawal request, id verification, now unable to even log in on: January 03, 2021, 04:31:48 PM
I also think it is quite normal for them to perform such checks. They are probably also required from a legal point of view. Cloudbet is a long reputable site.
We could wait for the op to respond here in this topic, but if you already know that you have used a VPN, you will understand that they are now figuring this out.
I am also thinking that OP have used VPN and only he/she can confirm this. This issue can be solved through proper verification process and i hope he will follow the process.

For faster solution i will suggest OP to contact cloudbet through their forum account.

186  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Operand- scammy DeFi that copied another DeFi content! on: January 02, 2021, 05:01:55 PM
Flag supported from my end.

You have done a great job by revealing this project's fraudulent activity and i hope it will help investors to detect this fake project easily.

I'm wondering if 2021 is going to be the year of extreme DeFi hype--my guess is that I can answer my own question in the affirmative, because I've already seen quite a few of these plagiarism cases among DeFi projects, and that's in addition to some that had fake team members and the usual methods of either scamming, stealing from other projects, or just being plain lazy.

It'll be interesting to see if any of these projects actually do something useful, even if part of a whitepaper is copy/pasted.  Looking back on the ICO craze it seemed like there were so many stupid ideas that the whole scene was bound to come crashing down eventually.
We have seen what these DeFi did in 2020 and no way to deny that investors were running after DeFi due to limited supply and stacking system. I don’t think this craziness will stop soon where bitcoin massive price pump will give much freedom to investors for joining new DeFi in the upcoming days. More or less all these DeFi projects are creating hyip on the market by influencing their holders to hold long but how long it is actually.

In this situation scammers are taking the chances and launching fake projects to make investors fool. I have seen a common thing whenever i join new DeFi group everytime i discovered myself in multiple groups couple of hours later. Its pretty much clear that this scammers know well who are the real DeFI investors and how to reach them easily.
187  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Phishing Wallet BotValidator on: January 02, 2021, 04:01:17 PM
This type of scam projects set their footprint on telegram first and keep adding new users on their channel. At the beginning they put a different group name and start to share their real money stealing platforms link when they got enough active members on their group. Its not like that scammers haven’t used ledger related scam projects in the past but after recent database leak they got much active. This project is another clear example of that. I will not be surprise if anyone open another new accusation tomorrow and write that he is a ledger user and got this website link through email.

I will suggest every single newbies of bitcointalk to avoid this type of website and do not share your private keys with anyone.
188  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer DreamerBT on: January 02, 2021, 03:47:41 PM
avoid DreamerBT - scammer

also as you can see - not possible to reply his topics
does not accepts escrow
His account have multiple negative trusts and you may forgot to check that before discussing with him. Whenever you see red trust with valid references just avoid that user to keep you far from getting scammed.

Have you discussed with him through telegram? If yes then you can share you chat history on your main topic although i think its already removed by him.
189  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Ledger Email on: December 29, 2020, 05:31:44 PM
It was expected after the incident of ledger users database leak. Already we have got multiple accusation about this type of email and no one can stop them from sending continuous email who have already got the database. Due to ledger authority's irresponsible work scammers got the opportunity to use their users personal information and Ledger is responsible for it. Ledger have already made announcement about this but i don't think its gonna bring any solution in this matter.

I am pretty much sure that many ledger users are thinking about their wallet safety and ledger authorities lack of security is quite clear to us. In a situation like this who are using ledger they will have to be careful about all fake emails and justify the official email address before clicking on any link which are coming from untrusted sources.
190  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Report for vareole (DO NOT BUY FROM HIM) on: December 29, 2020, 05:14:02 PM
This seems to be an ongoing feud in Digital Goods - vareole is being accused of scamming by a bunch of newbie accounts, which all persistently fail to prove any link between those BTC addresses, telegram chats, and the Bitcointalk user "vareole".
Yeah you got it exactly and all these newbies are continiously creating baseless accusation without proper evidences. If i am not wrong then there is a connection between all these newbie accounts and they are targeting vareole together.

So here we go again.. For a few months already when I make a sale I will also make a screenshot, because I am aware that telegram chat can be deleted and I have been accused before many times. Now I am also taking screenshots for my safety.
You did the right job by keeping all the screenshots of your chat history and i think you should make reply to all the accusation which have already been opened against you from.multiple newbie accounts. If you have trust that you are clean than i don't think you need to worry about all these accusations.

191  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Report for vareole (DO NOT BUY FROM HIM) on: December 28, 2020, 10:32:01 PM
I am not seeing enough information on your topic which can prove the accusation you made against this user. If you have then please share more screenshots of your chat conversation by which we can understand actually what happened with you.

I will suggest you to add more information on your main topic such as transaction link, bitcointalk PM chat (if have), service ANN link and complete screenshots of your chat history.
192  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Cloud mining scam - globalmining.io on: December 28, 2020, 10:14:39 PM
I got a lot of spam from where this new scam site is being promoted. It is almost new, only 76 days old even of that I am not sure why Google still not penalized it.
Obviously a scam, they offering from 12% up to 25% daily profit, depends on the invested amount.
Interesting part is that they somehow purchased a good domain to run their fake site. Maybe they have their own money printing machines by which they are generating money and giving the assurance of 25% profit for lifetime. Another money stealing ponzi which is running under the shadow of cloud mining and trying to make new miners fool.

You did the good job by sharing all information about this fake cloud mining project and i wish our community users will keep proper distance after reading the entire topic.

I don't know any cloud mining platform current where customers have genuinely made returns. Most are just ponzi scheme disguised as Cloud mining platforms.
Globalmining looks exactly like e-mine.co which is now offline
Yeah you are right. Its just another ponzi project and if i am not making mistake then both website have used the same template or single owner is running both projects.
193  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: https://bitcoinfocus.xyz/ - Ponzi Scheme on: December 28, 2020, 05:03:22 PM
Right, and with the current bull run of bitcoin, scammers are hurriedly creating this kind of doubler/ponzi scheme to attract newbies. I don't think that they can trap experienced users already because this is like a broken record already.

But for newbies who search for bitcoin and look on how to earn, they can easily fall for this kind of scheme and think that they can earn or win the jackpot with this exorbitant claims by criminals.
Still people exist who have dream to be millionaire just in one or two week and this kinda Ponzi project is the suitable place for them. This is why scammer are continuously launching their new websites and they know they will get easy money from immature investors. Its nothing new that ponzi platforms are nothing but a money stealing trap but you can't save everyone if people don't feel it necessary to read unrealistic return plans by using their own brain.

Basically people feel shy to share their story after getting scammed by a Ponzi like this because they know all happened due to their extreme level of greediness.

I visited their website and saw the names of many random investors. They have set up affiliate commissions so that people can promote their websites in the hope of commissions.

Its a part of their game and they know well that due to this level of affiliate commission many crypto users will start to promote their site which will help them to reach their targeted users.
194  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2020-12-28 Bloomberg - Bitcoin on Longest Winning Run Since 2019 After Record on: December 28, 2020, 04:45:37 PM
News agencies are spreading news about bitcoin new all time high but we have also seen that after reaching $28,365 there was a big price crash from there which was nearly more than 2000$. During that time i was active on a trading platform and sudden price dump from the top was really surprising Within a few minutes a large amount of bitcoin were sold out and price dropped near $25600. Although price recovered from there but a sudden crash like that is pointing another correction in the upcoming days. In my personal opinion bitcoin current price will definitely increase if more institutional investor join the community and hold their assets for a good amount of time.

We have already seen remarkable price development of bitcoin on 2020 and specially when we are passing hard time due to covid 19. Lets wait for the best and hopefully 2021 gonna bring more good news for worldwide bitcoin users & other crypto asset holders.

You are in the wrong board and you may forgot to check this sections pinned post. I have just seen another similar thread on scam accusation and that was enough for your issue.

Why are publishing same topic on different board?
196  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: minerseu.com Review - Another Scam website for Antminer on: December 28, 2020, 04:11:52 PM
Its pretty much clear that this website is fake and showing big discount to attract new crypto users who are planning to earn through crypto mining. I have checked their domain details on Whois and got that domain was created 11 days earlier. Running a website like this with a newly created domain is nothing but a trap. I think they are using a similar looking domain like www.miners.eu and trying to take the advantage of established mining equipment sellers.

Thanks for sharing all details information about this phishing website. I hope who have just started their mining journey recently will not place any order on this website.
197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to become a trusted member? on: December 27, 2020, 06:22:42 PM
The questions now, how long it takes and what are the tips&tricks you did in order to become a trusted member on this forum?
I assume most went through escrow when buying crypto, after how many such transactions you got the +1 as trust points?
Did any of you sell to non-trusted users without escrow? What was your selection criteria?

Sorry to say that there is no shortcut by which you can be a trusted member. Your activity and contribution may open chances for you but no one can give guarantee about it. If you think that you can gain positive trusts just by using escrow or taking service from someone then you are wrong. We have seen that many users take loans from lenders and pay in time but after multiple successful loan repayment they show they turn into loan defaulter.

In my personal opinion number of transactions have no relation with trust where actually it depends on forum users anf how they are taking your overall activity.

198  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Alert - Phishing Bustabit website - "bustabịt.com" on: December 27, 2020, 06:11:37 PM
Phishing gambling sites are now becoming more and more willing and Bustabit is now a target for scammers and I'm afraid those who don't research their URLs will be fooled, so this really needs to be more thorough and if you can save the original url in borkmark.
A specific group is working behind all these bustabit related phishing sites and they are running ads through google. I have seen multiple bustabit related ads like this and recent one is one of them. These scammers have experience about crypto project marketting and they know how to attract crypto oriented investors.

New crypto users have limited knowledge about phishing websites like this and if i am not wrong then some of them don't know which one is bustabit real website. By using browser bookmark option anyone can keep them far from this type of clone websites but question is how many newbies have knowledge about it.

200  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cryptominebit.com on: December 26, 2020, 06:47:41 PM
I was not deceived but I want to know if anyone was buying miners from this site and if they know if it is a scam because I want to buy miner.
I will not suggest you to purchase your miners from a 3 month old website. I will recommend "Bitmain" for you and their service is professional.

Here is the official website of Bitmain: https://www.bitmain.com

You will get pricing detail of latest miners here. If you want then you can also buy from Amazon but don't forget to check seller review before placing your order.
