Li - you've mentioned a few times that you may be able to get hosting costs down - any progress on that front?
Edit: Or maybe make the PSU a part of the hosting fee? In that case you would own the PSU, which makes more sense because they're not very cost-effective to ship outside of China, but would retain their resale value for you.
Sorry, the stability of the farm who offer cheap price canot meet my requirement, they can only promise 90% uptime, which is unacceptable. so no plan to down the host fee now. As for psu, it is a big money even for me, canot offer it for free, will sell it together with miner on two-hand market and refund the money to customer as usual. |

We have reached an agreement with bitmain to order a large batch of new s7 miner(4.73T, 1300w) at the price of 1150$ each unit. if customer want to join this plan, you need pay 20% deposit (230$) before 20th Dec 2015. This batch of miner will be online on 27th Jan 2016. if there is any delay we will compensate mining earning according to 100% pps.
The daily host fee for this S7 is 0.1*24*1.3= 3.12$ each miner.

The price is 1150$ for each unit plus another 100$ for a 1300w golden psu. The customer need pay 20% pre-order fee(230$) before 10th Dec 2015 and pay the rest 80% miner fee (920$) and 100$ psu fee(total 1020$) on 18th-20th Jan 2016. The kangding data center will perform maintenance on 26th Nov(today), will last for 12 hours. all s5 miner is in this data center and will be effected.
BTW, I will release new s7 miner soon, it will be a future option, the miner will be online around 1th Feb.

just got my astrill work again
the damm vpn always have problem these days
the mail to collect host fee will send soon
the downtime reported in our system is not correct this month, most of the down time it report donot caused by the real downtime
most of them is leaded by the failure of our system and make it is very difficult to pay compensation
anyone can help me here to report the real down time of s7 and s5?

What is the status with S7 repair? Am I the only one with defective S7 till now? Do You know what was the defect? If it was because of small heatsinks falling other users are reporting, maybe You should think of positioning S7s in Your farm in a way that board with glued heatsinks will be at the horizontal top position.

yes, your s7 is the only one that canot be repaired by our farm, so we have to ship it to bitmain to repair, i will ask bitmain to ship it back as soon as the repairment is completed |

avalon delayed the shipment of a6 to the end of this week, bitmain release new s7 now, seems like new s7's hashrate is not stable for single unit, so they want to sell according to real hash rate of miner, the price for large order exceeding 1P hash rate is 430$ per T h/s. so i will sell according to 470$ per T h/s(40$ for psu and other fee). you can reply with how much hashrate you want to buy, then i can decide how much i should order. About how long does it take for the miner config to get changed? I submitted the new pools id like on the 22nd and they are still on the old ones.

Regards. spiccioli As a matter of fact, i have ordered 3P hashrate from avalon, they told me they will ship them to me on 31th Oct. but i think it is hard for them to keep the word, as their chip still on the way to factory until yesterday. however, it is not easy to sell avalon miner to your guys because they use one raspberrypi to control 60 unit miner=60*3.5=210T. so i prefer to sell those avalon as cloud mining hashrate. |

I am talking with a buyer now. if it is the situation you experienced, give me how much hashrate you lose and last for how many hours, i will compensate you lose in full |

New s7 information
bitmain told me that new s7 will be released to market after another 10 days, so should be on 10th Nov, they deduce the chip amount on s7, so the hashrate of new s7 will be only around 3.5T. The price for new s7 still under discussion and will be released next week
that is interesting to hear. lowering the hashrate so i assume significant reduced power usage. maybe the home miner people wanted? I heard the reason they have to lower the hashrate is that too much chips on a same board lead to many problem.so they have to reduce the chip amount on one board |
