Got my payment and bonus, thanks~
182  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: March 07, 2016, 02:28:23 PM
I'm disappointed by this campaign as well... never got a response to my PM's about an exception to Politics and Society posts, now deadlines are come and gone for getting the majority of my payments.  I want to stay with this one since Bit-x is a company I trust enough to advertise, but not happy with the service..
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Largest Bitcoin Wallet on: March 06, 2016, 08:01:48 PM
https://blockchain.info/popular-addresses

btw it's address and not wallet. wallets [can] have many addresses.
My bad, also the link you linked, the two I found have more BTC received in total than almost all of them.
The amount received doesn't have much to do with the richest person.  It could be a mixer address that has a lot of transactions run through it to jumble things up, or some sort of service that uses cold storage for anything above a relatively small amount.  Could also be a change address for somebody that makes a lot of small transactions with a large balance, though that wouldn't make too much sense.
184  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: March 05, 2016, 04:19:30 PM
There is no point to hold on to money. I mean, why are you trying to get hold of money if you're not going to spend it? Just because it looks pretty?
This so much.  Bitcoin was designed to be a store of value that can be spent easily and quickly, not some speculative currency that you hold onto hoping to be millionares some day.  It seems are own community is undermining the very thing it was designed for.

Buy coins, spend them as you see fit, buy more.  There's nothing wrong with speculating on the price and holding some accordingly, but what's the use of waiting around for it to go up instead of enjoying the benefits of it you can get now?
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: f*ki bitcoin price is dropping day by day.. is it me only loosing serious money? on: March 05, 2016, 04:15:11 PM
I gave up on keeping my crypto money in Bitcoin, it's just too volatile to have any decent amount in and not get random swings of price.

IMO you're better off keeping it in a bank with a debit card where you can buy from Circle instantly when you want to have some coin for something or think the price is going to go up.
186  Economy / Speculation / Re: why bitcoin is going down? on: March 05, 2016, 04:13:05 PM
I definitely think some people are getting nervous about Bitcoin being able to compete with Ethereum.  Some of the whales are probably diversifying their assets right about now.  Besides that, the price has been bleeding out for a few days and I think now that we broke 400, we're going to go into a bigger panic about it.  Until we bottom out hard I'm going to stay bearish.
187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Finally bitcoin above 400 again on: March 05, 2016, 04:10:26 PM
Aaand we're back sub-400.  Now that the psychological resistance is broken it's time to go back into freefall.  I'm guessing we'll find some stability in the 380 range after a little bit of panic.

If that's broken most likely we're heading all the way back to 350 :/

for how much 1 second? i can see agin 401 on preev, again 1 exchange going sub 400 does not prove anything

and anyway good luck breaking 350, it will not happen, it does not happened with the mike drama why it should now, with the ethereum pump
You're way too optimistic.  Bitfinex is at 391 now and still plummeting.

You don't need any sort of drama for the market to go down, it's all about the emotions of traders and panic sellers.
188  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: March 05, 2016, 03:35:10 PM
I sent you a PM Marco about possibly getting an exception to Politics and Society posts not counting, not sure if you got it with all the stuff going on.

FWIW I wouldn't mind payments every 2 weeks if it would make things easier on him.

Shocking Times: Movement for Pedophile “Rights” Marches On: Thread title 100% accurate. Everybody agrees now.

Yep, didn't expect to come out of this thread agreeing with you... this fucking forum.

It's OK. You can fight me in another battle, in another thread.
 Smiley

The people fought to say the title was a lie. Then the fought to say the gay lobby was right to distance themselves from nambla. Then the same people said being born gay is a natural thing. Then the next logical step was to not see pedophiles as predators but as "born this way" humans. Then it was: for this to happen, a movement needs to march on, to change people's mind.

Hmm...

Now in their mind the pedophile defenders are accepting the fact the gay lobby was wrong to reject nambla as part of their minority group, as we are all humans. Not predators.

 Roll Eyes

This is where things go south in your argument.  Pedophiles should be seen as potential predators and I don't think many people in this thread disagree with that, but they should also be seen as people that were born with a disorder to make them attracted to kids, and focus on all the possible alternatives you can give since you can't convict somebody on a thought crime.

@Yugo, I don't see what your issue is with To Catch a Predator at all.  I see it as the same as trying to bait out a potential rapist in a way that the show could show things to look out for.  The key is that you wouldn't appear on the show had you not attempted to commit a crime and been caught by the Cyber Watchdog group.  It's not just some random guy showing up at the house and getting on TV, they always have extensive chat logs showing the adult knew the victim was underage, many times sending them nude pictures in the chatting process.

Like it or not, honeypotting is a completely legal method of catching criminals as long as it doesn't cross the line to entrapment.  Also, we have shows like COPS that focus on potential criminals all the time and they are just going off a random call half the time.

192  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Shocking Times: Movement for Pedophile “Rights” Marches On on: March 04, 2016, 01:58:07 PM

You mean that being a pedophile is not illegal because it's the action of raping children which is illegal?

Well Oxford dictionary says you're right: pedophile = A person who is sexually attracted to children.

But you understood what he meant ^^

Yes, that is what I mean.
And based on what he is writing he doesn't have any idea what terms he is using.

Well, someone supporting a show as disgusting as the fucked up thing he presented is probably stupid as hell for sure.

But anyway, hard to use the adjective "pedophile" for anyone but people commiting pedophiles crimes. Which means it's a rather fair and logical process to assimilate the two. Wink

I think To Catch a Predator was a really good idea.  Showing what the depths of the internet can hold on mainstream TV probably got some parents to be more aware of what their kids/teens were doing online, and may have prevented some abuse.  While I'm not for invasion of privacy, it could definitely have showed some warning signs to look out for.

Besides, honeypotting the pedos was a great idea.  They obviously were ready to offend when they went to the house, so they deserved to be taken down by the cops.  Only difference is they didn't get a chance to do the deed.

Well if that's the case I guess he also planned for her to spend a looong time in jail.  I hope they don't kill her, just leave her to rot in a shitty Russian prison instead.

Religion truly is the cancer of society..
194  Economy / Economics / Re: Factors That Make One Cryptocurrency Worth More Than Another on: March 04, 2016, 01:10:52 PM
3, 4, 5, and 7 seem to be the only points relevant to the value.  For the currency to be worth anything, people need to feel secure that their money isn't going into a black pit when they invest.  The higher the risk of this happening, the less people will get involved and make it worth anything.

As for the rate of coin generation, I think this comes down to the method that they're made, along with the ratio of coins generated:coins already made.  During the beginning when a ton of coins are being pumped out, the value is going to be dropping fast to compensate.  As time goes on and a very small amount is made (like BTC), the coin will be able to keep a stable value and maybe go up.  I personally think POS is better in this regards, as people that are mining them are already invested in making the value go up so there's most likely less pressure to dump for a quick buck.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price going to sub-400 again? on: March 04, 2016, 05:45:52 AM
i think isn't after yesterday the price break down to $414 and now seems the price already moved up not much but better than back down to below $400.

That is true,  we are just scaring ourselves if we are thinking about the price dip and adding weight to its dip.. lets think about the dip as a chance for us to buy...
This looks like more than a dip to me.  We already attempted a breakout that made it up to 440 and didn't get anywhere, now the market has lost it's steam and is going to bleed out.  We may get one more run up there before finally heading down, but I don't think sub-400 is too far off.
196  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: March 03, 2016, 01:56:30 PM
prices gradually fall to $ 420. is enough to make me panic. but we must remain patient. keep calm and do not sell your bitcoin now

The bottom line is $400 im sure this some whales want to buy bitcoin at lower price , and he trying to dump bitcoin, after the target reached he will pump again Roll Eyes

for me better to to keep hold my bitcoin
yeahh targets may not be under $400. This is actually a great opportunity for you to make a profit by buying lots of bitcoin at price of $ 400 or $ 410, but if you do not have a better capital. hold your bitcoin now and wait for prices to go up. Keep calm

Especially halving is so close now. Better you invest on bitcoin today, so when the price increase so high after halving you can sell them all and get profit.
Whose to say that the price will increase at the halving?  I think it's very possible that we're going to see a drop back to the mid 300's after it's happened as people panic at not getting a price raise they were hoping for.

Personally I'm not going to have anything in crypto for the first week or two after it.
197  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Socialism is the key on: March 02, 2016, 03:33:14 PM
I don't think complete socialism is the key, but I do think we need to get much closer to it than the United States has now.  Things like healthcare and higher education shouldn't be things that the poor should have to worry about.

We won't be able to truly flourish as a country until the necessities are taken care of so our best and brightest minds can rise to the top, and nobody should die due to a lack of money while others could afford a whole damn hospital.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price is bitcoin a good buy? on: March 02, 2016, 03:29:49 PM
At the moment I'd say anything under 380 would be a good time to get in.  It all depends on the current environment and outlook around crypto.  In a few years I wouldn't be surprised to see it around $1,000, or just as easily floating under $100.

Once the halving has happened I'd avoid being in BTC in general and wait out whatever happens to the price.  We may very well be in the middle of the pump for it, leading to a crash once people realize it isn't going back up to the moon.
199  Other / Politics & Society / John McAfee Thinks the FBI Already can Crack the iPhone on: March 02, 2016, 02:39:39 PM
So check out this video...  One of the brains behind one of the biggest security companies in the world, and somebody running for president can't seem to understand the basics of security.

I don't know how this man can know what a disassembler is, yet at the same time not understand one-way passwords.  It's so stupid that I have to put a tinfoil hat on and think he's trying to make the FBI look bad.  Not to mention that the hacker community would be praising him for cracking the security of a popular device, not somehow trying to ban him.
