Thanks for all your replies ... I just got scammed of 240$. The seller says that his Skrill account got blocked for whatever reason, which sounds silly.... and he is not willing to send the BTC as agreed.

I wouldn't do it. Your SSN is supposed to be something you almost never give out, and the other party should be 100% trusted. Coinbase is the exception to the rule IMO as they are one of the most trusted names in BTC. Cryptsy is a good exchange, but they're not bulletproof enough for me to trust them with something like that.

My Paypal got limited, so no more that until further notice...  PayPal is garbage, you're better off not using it. Hopefully they didn't reverse your transactions. They didn't kill my account, I just can't use debit/credit cards. Guess I'll just load it with Moneypak from here on Edit: looks like it just didn't let me use it for that one transaction for some reason. That was close  |
