1801  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: September 04, 2021, 10:07:05 AM
Eyy! May nag sign up ba sa inyo dito?

The team at BitPinas and I are going to start working on that "Axie Archipelago" project that I wrote about last week. The goal is to create an interactive map of ALL the pinoy Axie guilds across the Philippines and provide a real-time directory that potential scholars and managers can refer to. (No need for real names of the people involved, we are more interested in the guilds and their FB pages.) The map will be shared with the public FOR FREE for as long as we can maintain it.

Baka ginawa lang pang front yung archipelago shits or something..

@Maus0728 waiting for what you come up with this time Wink for this art contest.Best wishes to all participants.
As usual, I will be creating a female and sexy version of Mr.Roo which maybe wearing a sexy sport attire. And I know you're all tired of seeing the same concept over and over again but I am practicing how these figurative drawing works. It's just that I kinda' enjoy drawing a sexy body of females where I can easily incorporate which character they are...and surprisingly, incorporating it with roobet turns out to be perfect as for me...

Do we need to create a roobet artist guild? LOL! Just kidding..
1803  Economy / Services / Re: [SERVICE] Free Testnet Bitcoins on: September 04, 2021, 12:11:29 AM
@UmerIdree

You'll find tBTC useful if you want to test the ins and out of a bitcoin transaction whether your are going to use it just to experience sending bitcoin to a receiver, coin control, pay-to-many etc. It also doesn't have any monetary value.

Testnet wallet is usually bundled with bitcoin wallet like Electrum and Bitcoin Core after you have installed them in your computer. And you can access them by either typing a command or just by clicking the installed testnet program application.

1804  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 03, 2021, 12:27:18 PM
In the last two weeks, the mempool shows 2 block of transaction that costs around 8-10 sats/vbyte. And in the last 48 hours, there is a massive bloat in the mempool with a minimum transaction fees of 10 sats/vbyte as well which I think could be the reason why there is a sudden spike in Roobet's withdrawal free.

Though most of the time Roobet's withdrawal fee is much higher than the actual on chain fee, we can't do something about it other than to wait or cash out a large chunk of money.

@bitterguy28
LOL! I'll take it as a compliment. Again, it's just that making digital drawings are my thing and I have experience doing it for many years to the point where most of my side hustles are doing commissioned digital services whether creating portraits, stickers, and original characters.

Fortunately, though, because of Roobet's monthly art challenge, I was able to showcase my skills and earn some bucks from which enables me to support my education and I am very thankful for it.

As per the transaction fee, I am no expert. You'll just need to monitor closely the status of the mempool ahead whenever you are planning to withdraw you money.
1807  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 02, 2021, 03:59:08 PM
Today I deposited some money on roobet wich cost me a total transaction fee of 0,12$.

Now that I want to withdraw that money, roobet estimates a withdrawal transaction fee of 9$ if I choose the slow option and like 11$ for the fast option.

That seems way too much to me. Can anybody elaborate on this ? Is Roobet sending transactions with 50sats/byte ? Cheesy
Usually, the withdrawal fees in casino are based on the current blockchain(miners) transaction fee[1] plus their service fee (e.g, maintaining their wallet, processin, etc..) which could sometimes cost you a lot. And as far as I know, casino usually collect all the transactions which could affect the "input" resulting to a higher transaction fee.

Alternatively, though, you can check -- https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC,24h,weight, to asses when is the best time to conduct a transaction especially for your withdrawals.

1808  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Plant vs Undead Another Alternative na pagkakakitaan. on: September 02, 2021, 03:14:39 PM
Usually nasa below or above 100k since yung presyo niya naglalaro lang din from 95 - 100+ PVU.

You can also take a look at their marketplace.

1809  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Plant vs Undead Another Alternative na pagkakakitaan. on: September 02, 2021, 12:41:49 AM
So that means kelangan mo sundin yung specific time schedule mo bago makapag farm at kung na miss mo ang time na yun ay sa susunod ka na naman na time schedule makakapag farm?
Exactly.

Not until they have released their latest update.

-0 NFT asset: Cannot exchange LE
-1 NFT plant: Rate of exchange is 300LE = 1 PvU
-2+ plants or 1+ land: Rate of exchange is 100LE = 1 PvU

-No more daily quest after Farm 2.5 it will be different

Meaning kung wala kang permanent plant, wala din chance na makakapag liquidate ka ng PVU into BNB or PESO unlike before na kahit temporary plant lang yung gamit mo, pwede ka pa din magpapalit anytime ng LE to PVU which leads to longer capital return.

am hoping I can become good in cryptocurrency and maybe expose fakes and scams to others around me
There's a compilation of guides that discuses on how you can spot the red flags on an investment or projects in crypto space. And I think it'll add up to your arsenal so that you can have some idea of the common practices made by these fraudsters.

Currently, though, it is most likely that you might encounter a new trend in crypto called "NFT Games" where the premise is similar to how ICO works. And it would be better to at least have an idea if in case you have decided to invest with them.
1811  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you have a separate phone/PC for crypto? on: September 01, 2021, 10:28:44 AM
If I had to use a specific device just for crypto I would consider installing special privacy-preserving, de-googled operating systems like CalyxOS, LineageOS, GrapheneOS, Copperhead, etc.
How does this work? I mean do I have to wipe all the data of the OS that is installed on my android phone? Or we can just buy these specialized phone intended only for privacy and security similar to this one --> https://shop.puri.sm/shop/librem-5/

Would appreciate if you could provide us some OS installation guide.

@Mau0728 is miracle. He is not human, he must be an Artificial Intelligence. Lolz.  Grin Grin Grin Grin
Haha! I'll take it as a compliment so98nn.

But honestly, it took me years of study and practice in digital and traditional drawings. Studying the importance of tonal values and correct blending process is extremely a tedious process especially when you are beginning, it also takes a lot of advice from people who are renowned digital artist from other art groups/forums/ etc.

And then moving on to studying figure/anatomy courses to create proper posture, correct proportion of body etc. Just always remember that practice makes progress though..

@goaldigger

Yes.

1816  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Plant vs Undead Another Alternative na pagkakakitaan. on: August 30, 2021, 01:30:59 PM
As of now, hindi ata gumagana yung e-mail and Password registration so metamask lang talaga option mo.

So far, waiting game yung PVU, meaning may specific time within the day kang susundin para makapagfarm ng LE. Saka wala na atang whitelisting na tinatawag.

1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in NFT & Metaverse sector now, everyone can be an investment expert on: August 30, 2021, 12:20:47 PM
@OP, Perhaps the reason your earnings were more reasonable before is that the ICO craze was just getting started, and most people, regardless of their experience, bet on a specific coin because the term "ICO" was extremely "new" in the crypto space.

Even if you lack knowledge, as long as people are putting money on the table, your chances of multiplying your money are high, giving you the impression that you are a good "investor." This is also true for NFTs, which are new, but that doesn't mean that each one will yield a return and survive in the long run. They all have an end, just like ICO, IEO, IDO, etc..

Make the best out of it while it last.
1818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to convert Bitcoin to DAI and safe storing? on: August 29, 2021, 01:12:40 PM
1. What is the best way to do this? Exchange without KYC? Atomic Swap? (NO centralized exchanges)
As far as I know, you cannot directly exchange your BTC to DAI, and upon checking, Uniswap[1] has the most volume right now. However, you Uniswap only has DAI/ETH trading pair which means you need to trade your bitcoin  to ethereum first, and then trade your ETH to DAI.

You can use bisq[2] to exchange your BTC to ETH if you really want to avoid centralized exchange and do not want to undergo the KYC process.

2. Which wallet should I use to store DAI ? (I'm a little scared to keep such a sum of money in a meta mask in my browser)
Are there any analogues of electrum for ether tokens?
DAI is an ERC-20 token which can be stored to ERC-20 compliant wallets such as Metamask or MyEtherWallet and the only thing you can do to increase the layer of your security is to integrate your Metamask wallet with a Ledger or Trezor hardware wallet which can cost you for about $100 - $200.

3. I chose DAI because of its decentralization and the inability to get a coin lock. Do you think this is correct? (I will keep the DAI for about 1-2 years)

@mk4 has a better explanation in terms of asset-freezing for DAI.

Single Collateral DAI(SAI) and Multi-Collateral DAI(DAI)

Besides USDT on the Liquid network(which isn't really THAT accessible right now, hopefully in the future), the DAI/SAI stablecoin, which is both from the MakerDAO project, are the only stablecoins on the list that's unfreezable as you may see.....

Also, not because DAI/SAI are unfreezable right now, it doesn't automatically mean that it will be like this forever. Remember, there's still a single core team working on this project, and they can easily change the code today if they wanted or needed to. Not because they're bad people per se, but they might need to comply to government's requirements sometime in the future.

Why settle for less if there are other gambling site portal that has more information, tutorial, gameplay guides and honest reviews? Go for BTCGosu and GamblingBro instead. BTCGosu is always the number 1 resource you can have if you want to stay ahead and take advantage of the bonuses.
1820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: August 29, 2021, 10:38:56 AM
I am well aware that the gambling for Axie Infinity isn't established yet but if there is always an ongoing E-sports like this, then I think there is a chance. Currently, YGG's Axie Infinity E-sports[1] is live on their facebook page with a prizepool of $35,000 and 64 teams[2] are competing for it.
