We all do have our fallen Hero's  Not worth any attention if they robbed you actually I'm very lucky the game was too complicated for me to understand really. There were lots of promises, but in researching "how to" I found a darker side that warned me off. Some people just stuck in a hole and stuff. Others were not so lucky and we are talking big money here, especially in today terms. Then an effective exit scam/ more empty promises to repay stuff never fulfilled. Unbelievable excuses such as fire, robbery, flood, bird flew away with paper wallets etc. all in about a week. Big shame |

I know somebody who has used Kraken to cash out large sums & he’s had no problems. We should get ready for the glorious cashout day which is coming soonish so any hints on where to do it safe, fast and efficient are welcome! Exchanges? OTC? Anything else?  OTC is supposed to be the best, speak to gentlemand. off the chart? over the counter? something else? |

It is a clear demonstration of an inflationary economy of fiat money against Bitcoin. In this table we see how much money would a person have now in $ if he/she would, in a given year (first column) buy BTC for $2 (average cup of coffee?) every day.
For example: if in 2012 somebody would buy every day BTC for $2 he/she could now sell it for ~$1M.

Is Kraken any good?
fuck Kraken in their tentacled face -froze our account with almost no notice -ran us through pointless KYC hoops, "support" was clueless, might as well have been flipping burgers, did not seem to believe that mining was a real thing. -after weeks of support circular logic and being trapped in trades now gone bad due to locked account they finally figured out that the reason was that they were dropping support for our jurisdiction...a major tech heavy US state. lost a lot of money there Did they simply took your money and just tell you to fuck off?? :-O I was forced to convert the entire account to BTC at a significant loss in a tight timeframe to move it off the platform. The timing of these events was...not good. Had "support" not had their heads fully inserted and had told us what was up at the beginning I would have had weeks to trade out in an orderly fashion...but no. Incompetence or malice? With Kraken you get to take your pick. tm I have told the story several times here, so my apologies to anyone bored by its repetition, but this account is the only revenge I get in this situation. I am never going to shut up about it. Much like polo for me, at the moment I needed to flip out a large amount of coin it was conveniently tied up for ages with dead air from support. As I have said before it was all a bit too convenient all the exchanges froze everyone, while someone was making big money and a top. |

Basically, the situation I'm in is if I didn't have BTC to supplement my income I'd have a very sad life; never eating out, no holidays, no 'nice' things every-so-often.
I'm VERY lucky to have BTC. Very.
treating ourselves to something extra every now and then via btc i mined or bought is the deal i made with my wife when i 1st got into btc. gotta take profits at some point. we certainly enjoyed our "upgrades." works for me as this all could still take a digger. Maybe ironic the treat for myself way back was to spunk some money on bitcoins, its full circle. |
