1801  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What would be your recommendations when trading crypto? on: October 21, 2016, 10:17:40 AM
I think you have many experience on trading but you are lack of application that i think leads to lose .the # 1 enemy of a trader is emotions you must know how to control it in terms of when buying or selling . Buying with cheap altcoins make sure to spot the active community of that cheap coins (many cheap coins are scam) . Take an analysis but make sure you are ready for what will happen because your analysis will be nothing if manipulators came it then you should know how to follow and jland make a ride.

That is right. You should look at trading with a cold eye and shut emotions out. If you let down trend depress  you or up trend get you too excited, you will not be making good decisions. That is why it is advised to trade money that you can afford to lose because if you have plans for that money, you will get too attached and emotions will ruin your decisions with it.
1802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: October 21, 2016, 10:08:10 AM
Yes you can make a lot of money with the bitcoin and the fact is also that long terms are very good for yourself too.
Its very nice to do and its profitable too and you have to do nothing.

If you  do  possess  huge amounts of  bitcoin  then  holding would   be good idea too because you would surely  made  profits on  future  but if you are  just  holding small amounts then its better to invest  those  up  in able to grow rather  just  holding it. Seeing profits on  short terms  are the best  too.
yes in fact investing in bitcoin with a little amount of money is not a wise decision as it cannot give you a good profit even after a long time, therefore to me the if you really interested in long term investment then you should try to invest a good amount of bitcoin.

if you do not have a large amount instantly, you can invest small amounts regularly into bitcoin. There are benefits of doing that. One is  you are getting advantage of average cost when you invest on a regular schedule. and your investment is slowly growing and not too much of a burden on your wallet.
1803  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last correction before 700+ breakout on: October 21, 2016, 04:26:49 AM
In a few months bitcoin price never can't break $650 maybe it's the time we must lose a hope to seeing bitcoin price touch $700 in this year.

No need to lose hope, but the point is that the majority of the people here expect too much from the price. Reaching $700 this year is a realistic possibility as there are more than 2 months to go before this year ends. But hoping for prices higher than $700 is more like wishful thinking. I think $700-$720 will be the peak that we will see in the remaining time of this year, and after that it will settle below $700.

Just be patient. Bitcoin will break thru 700 and above in a few months. THere are a lot of good things going on on bitcoin right now. It is sure to break 700 and maybe 800 within this year or early next  year. If bitcoin ETF push thru, the price might even get higher than that.
1804  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: October 20, 2016, 09:35:23 AM
Yes especially for people in poor countries then the forum campaign earns them 2x what they normally earn a month.
Its a really nice initiative and helps alot of people, it helps me too in different kind of ways by giving me something to do.
Bitcoin can effect your life allot because if you are making more money with it then before you were making use of Bitcoin then it effects your life.
You are then able to save or spend more money then you are used to.

We can proudly say that bitcoin is affecting our lives in a positive way as its helping us in generating extra source of income and in poor countries people can even earn a living with it.

Agreed as in poor countries its really hard to find a good job and even if you have job you cannot expect higher income as even inflation will kill your money, in that case bitcoin can give you better and higher income in compare to your day job if you are good at it.

That is right. Just like in our country, the small amount we earn from signature campaigns can mean so much and help a lot in our expenses. Bitcoin is giving us opportunities that otherwise is hard to come by on offline jobs. And if you prefer not to spend what bitcoin you earn, small timers now can have a taste of how to invest thru bitcoin. That is a big difference bitcoin can make.
1805  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: October 20, 2016, 09:31:42 AM
I do still believe in Bitcoin and I know that I am still going to make some money with it otherwise I would not be here right now. The price is stable for a long time now and that is not a good sign.
But I have a feeling that the price has to rise sooner then later.
It is actually a good sign for me because the price now is great, and even if it does not change so much but as long as the value is good I would still be happy, I have the chance to buy when I needed more and I can also convert my earnings in fiat with a better value.

right, even if the price does not rise that much, it is still good to earn bitcoin because the price is considerably high right now. Compared last year where the price is just above 300, it is much profitable to earn bitcoin this year.
1806  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: October 20, 2016, 09:15:56 AM
Never buy bitcoins right now becuase the price of the bitcoin is to high you wont make profit with it right now or the price needs to rise after you bought them you knw but that wont happen.

Is there any reason the price will not go higher than the price right now? With the good news happening around bitcoin right now, I think the price will really go high within the next few months. It does not matter if you buy or earn bitcoin, it is good to hold for now.
1807  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: October 20, 2016, 09:10:30 AM
Each of us has different spending habits and patterns plus we have different incomes so the best answer to the best way of managing money is up to the individual. If a person can live below his means, then he can save more than those who earn bigger than him but spends everything and more. Managing money involves a lot of discipline and wise decision making on what are important and what are just unnecessary expenses.

You mean contentment. I dont think that can happen. The greater your money will be the more you become a spender. I dont really know the explanation in that but it is true. I think we are created that way.

That is true. That is true to myself too. Back when I am still getting way lower amount, I barely make both ends meet. Now that I have an extra income in bitcoin, I still barely make both ends meet. I have bigger monthly income now, but I also have bigger expenses.
1808  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use multiple Bitcoin Wallets to store your Bitcoins? on: October 20, 2016, 05:41:37 AM
making a secure bitcoin wallet which is always offline and stays that way is not really hard, and i am talking from 2 years of experience with having only one bitcoin wallet on an offline linux system.
That means u dont use your bitcoin. For those who use bitcoin regularly, needs to wallet... one online and one offline.
Like the bitfinex's cases, I don't think a lot of their member are online at the time bitfinex are gonna get a hacked by someone. online or offline need more researching about the wallet of bitcoin have you used it. but if using the offline wallet I think that is always secure in your wallet online or offline.

Bitfinex is not a wallet. It is an exchange site. And leaving your coins on the exchange sites is not a good practice. Those people who treats their bitfinex account as wallet should have learned their lessons by now. You need an online wallet so you can spend your bitcoins easily, which is good for bitcoin economy. Most of your bitcoin should be in your cold wallet.
1809  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: October 20, 2016, 03:53:27 AM
of course after bitfinex being hacked, the bitcoin recovered their price this is one big reason to believe in bitcoin, this says that people  still trust in bitcoin like financial instrumental. and the startups who starts everyday is very good signal bitcoins still have great things to do.

Yeah price crashed badly after the bitfinex hack and it could recover from it only because people showed their faith in it and kept on supporting it by buying it and that is the reason we are sitting at a descent level at a moment.
yeah it is a blow to the bitcoin especially users who have bitcoin in bitfinex, I think the effect is not only a loss for users bitfinex alone but to all users of bitcoin, because of its negative effects occur to bitcoin as prices fell, the decline in user trust, but the trust was finally back again

We cannot avoid that, every now and then a trusted exchange or online wallets will go scam and will take a hit on bitcoin price. It will affect the price but those are not bitcoin. So the price will still go back up because our trust is laid on bitcoin and not on those entities.
1810  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2016, 03:26:46 AM
I have bitcoin, because there's something I believed in. I knew bitcoin helped a lot of member here to boost there confident  when it comes to earnings in digital currency like this. Including myself bitcoin increase my confidence since I resign to job. Now I have bitcoin as my extra income.

If you have resigned from your job then how can be bitcoin will extra income to you, it would be your primary income as you don't have full time job from where you would be getting stable income.

if a person has skills then it is not hard for him to find another place to get a stable place to do online job and to get a stable income. That income will be more higher in amount than any other income.

No if a person is having a high paid job and if he is in senior position in company then he will be earning higher income from there in compare to online job and day job also gives you an financial security for future which in never possible with bitcoins.

If you fully understand bitcoin and its purpose, then you will know that it is valuable in the future. And even if you have a senior position in a company or even higher, you will allot time and money for bitcoin. You may have financial stability today in fiat, but it may fail you in the future.
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: October 20, 2016, 03:13:29 AM
i do not think so that bank can disappear by bitcoin , hope that they will work in cooperation with each other, and bank will accept bitocin for deposit and withdraw.
It should not disappear because we need banks for bitcoin to exchange  and banks are still more safe area to save our money unlike bitcoin that you are saving your money in online that you dont know it will stay long or not.. so bitcoin will be still stay and we need this banks for loans and savings..

But I think if bitcoin gets widely used and accepted in future then we don't need banks anymore as we can buy anything directly using bitcoin without converting to fiat, and it will reduce the customers of banks for sure.

Bitcoin can handle several transactions online, but in the end  banks does provide some service that bitcoin wont be able to provide loans are the only thing that will keep banks being the only companies that does controls fiat. And there are several people that wont join crypto world doesnt matter how good it might be they wont join neither use.

I think the banks will go bankrupt because of those loans that they are giving out. It may not be that bitcoin will make them disappear but they will be ruined by their own actions.
1812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: October 20, 2016, 03:09:49 AM
Bitcoin can disappear?
And if bitcoin is a scam, what will happen in world?
People will panic?

If bitcoin disappear (i hope it does not), only a few percentage of the population will be affected because only a few percentage actually knows, holds or own bitcoin. It will not cause any massive panic but to only those who are heavily invested in bitcoin like the giant miners and those who hold thousands of bitcoin.
1813  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like to pay bills using bitcoins while staying at home? on: October 20, 2016, 02:42:27 AM
Paying bills is very tiresome. Aside from travelling to the nearest station to pay for your bills you also have to pay for your fare. Sometimes when you are very busy and you cannot leave your office or your home you are wishing that there will be a new technology that allows you to pay your bills without going out from your house and leaving your office.

In the Philippines bitcoin has made the life of Pinoys more comfortable. Using bitcoin while at home or at work with just a click on your mobile phones or smartphones you can pay your bills. There are sites in the Philippines that allows you to do that, but is there anything like that in other countries?

That is not only on bitcoin, it is also provided by banks and that is called online banking. You can pay almost any bill using online banking without moving out and just typing in your mobile or pc. But I am thankful that I can pay my bills using bitcoin too. That is a good alternative.

1814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: October 19, 2016, 03:38:14 PM
I think that they are both good but that bitcoin is better because you can control it by yourself and no one is watching you, with PayPal your account can be limited after a while and that really sucks without any doubts!!

Actually for new.users of paypal,if they receive money their accounts are frozen for a certain length of time. I think it is 100 days. But bitcoin will.never freeze your money. It is way easier to spend and send money in bitcoin and the fees are way smaller
1815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the least amount that can be called a 'decent' investment? on: October 18, 2016, 03:16:22 PM
What I mean by decent is where you can really see that it is growing and it can give you profit that is enough to be reinvested.
Call me dumb but I really don't know. I'm sorry.
My only source of coins is my signature campaign. I earn about less than 0.1 BTC per month.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

There is no exact amount because there is no fix income or return in any investment. What I would do though is to start small and consistently or regularly adding some funds to my investment. After some time you will notice the return and if that amount is enough for you then you can stop adding funds.
1816  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: October 18, 2016, 03:04:22 PM
for me the real passive income come only from real job. salaty in fiat currency it's fixed more stable than salary in bitcoin for sidejob.
so if you want to have passive income, let's get real job.
No, no, passive income only can get from online, like you got active referral under your link that's mean gambling, faucet, online shop, etc.

Passive income is when you do not have to work or move or be active to have an income. The most popular form of passive income is royalty (books, songs). The artist get paid for every album sold. So it is not just online, it can be a business or investment that earns you bitcoins regularly.
1817  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: October 18, 2016, 02:56:23 PM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

If it is just moving by 1cents it is not stable, it is stagnant and most probably dead. For me, stable bitcoin means.there is no fluctuating price but have a steady and stable growth. And I think if this things happen, there will be more people who will prefer to use bitcoin over dollars.
1818  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: October 18, 2016, 02:03:09 PM
There is no such dream in my mind. I am satisfied with what I have and on working for it. Getting to that higher level of getting rich might make something wrong with me. I am talking about gambling. Plus there is this thing that when my income is getting large then my expenses also do.

I think Having your salary directly proportional to your expenses is true to almost everyone. I am experiencing it as well. I read before that it is psychologically wired to us. But if we learn to control it, we will have a better financial status.
1819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does will bitcoin repeat a WONDERFUL big drop? No it does't. on: October 18, 2016, 07:39:26 AM
do you all raelly think that the price of the bitcoin will drop that much i dont understand why everbodyt thinks that becaue the price of the bitcoin is
not going to drop you know!

People want bitcoin price to drop so they can buy bitcoin at low price and make profit when it rises again. The price right now is quite high so normally people can't buy much.

I do not want the price to drop as low as last  year. I am satisfied with the current price because I do not buy bitcoin. With what little bitcoin I earn from my signature campaign goes a lot when converted to fiat at the current rate. Maybe those traders who are stuck on their shorts want the price to drop, but I think most of us wanted the price to go even higher.
1820  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: October 18, 2016, 06:25:15 AM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

I earn enough to compliment my day job and make me through the month. I want to earn more but my work schedule does not allow me to do it. I am happy though with the amount that I am earning right now. If bitcoin price gets better, I'll be more satisfied.
