Do you believe that having bigger blocks is a better solution than having segwit to solve scaling problems? If yes, then you should gamble your money on BCH, otherwise, stay on bitcoin.

But since you are just investing, BCH does not have to overthrow or get ahead of bitcoin. It just needs to have a higher price than when you bought it. The price of BCH now is down, you can buy now and gamble that the people behind it will try to pump it for exposure.

That is too optimistic. It is better if you keep in touch with reality. Though I really like that to happen but who will  buy bitcoin at that price? 10K in the next 5 years is good, achievable though hard.

You should buy now, before the price go up again because of segwit. Though there is always a chance that the price will pull back, it may take some time before it happens. The market is on an uptrend now and if everything goes well,  it may go up some more in the coming week. 

It is one of the risk you have to take as an investor. Most of the time, tokens are over priced at ico point, then it will drop when it hits the market. But if you invested on the right coin, one with actual use, then the price will recover over time.

The pump will probably happen before the date because of anticipation of the effect of segwit. I am not expecting too much rise from the current price. Maybe after the effect is felt, then there will be more price hike.

The price is already pumping in anticipation of that event. I am predicting it will go sideways on that day because the market is already exhausted. But once we feel the effect of segwit, there will be more pump. 4000 will be easily reach.

Waves is getting too much attention lately. I will not be surprised if it gets pumped in the near future. So if anyone wants to get waves, now is the time before it gets pumped. It will be too late soon.

You can atleast skim out the scammers from real deals by reading their whitepapers, and knowing the people behind the project. But some really good scammers are behind some ico than it is hard to see the real ones. So investing in ick is really risky but if you got the right one, you can have a really good profit.

Look at the top coins in coinmarketcap and look it up here in the forum. If that coin have an active and large amount of followers here, it is a good sign. Then see the road map and whitepaper, if it looks good to you then invest on that coin. I have only xem, eth and waves.

This price hike maybe the combination of segwit being priced in and bch being dumped and converted back to btc. It may go even higher in the coming days.

This is problem with polo is becoming more frequent. I have trust with poloniex but i too withdraw my coins from them. it is better to be safe than sorry in the future. I hope they solve this and not become a reason for the drop of bitcoin price in the future.

I used to gamble to pass time and make money at the same time. But gambling is addicting, so whether you gamble for profit or fun, it all end bad at the end. So i quit and had a better life outside gambling.

Only use coins.ph wallet if you are going to exchange your bitcoin to peso, otherwise, store your bitcoin in other wallets. You do not have your private keys if you use coins.ph wallet so you really do not have control over your bitcoin.

 Electrum is a good wallet and it is lightweight.

What is the difference? Even if you kept your bitcoin offline, you can still claim your bitcoin cash as long as you have your private keys. then you can transfer it to exchanges to dump for bitcoins.

You are not even sure they are buying using fiat. This could be the effect of bch being dumped and being converted back to bitcoin. It is free money so even if you use it to buy bitcoin at higher price, you will not mind.

Any reference to satoshi's words are out dated. he could or could have not approved segwit. and during those time, the capacity of the tech is different than now. You cannot use an outdated comment to discredit bitcoin cash or segwit. You will have both chain, decide on which to support on the basis of their performance.

There is no guarantee that any coin will yield 10x profit in a month. The price may not even move or the price could go down. But if you can day trade and take advantage of daily movements, then you could choose among the top coins in coinmarketcap. The movement could be healthy enough to make daily profit from trading. But if you cannot day trade, forget 10x in a month and go long term for bitcoin, eth or xem.

The bitcoin market cap is still very small compared to other market like oil or gold. And even if it reach that level, there is still money to be made. Learn to trade and you will not just rely on holding. You can take advantage of bitcoins volatility to make money as well.
