841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin as a share? on: August 14, 2017, 04:56:39 PM
Hey, I have very interesting idea for a company that would offer certain products with some in product benefits for the coin...I cant tell too much for now, I would like to ask if I can create a coin and offer it as a share in the company? Thats because I dont have enough money to start the company, pay the coders and everything to begin with, so I was thinking of going this way...Let me know what you think Smiley

If you have a really good product, people here will invest on your ICO. But if you have the same thing running around here in the forum, there is already too many ICO's running. Be sure you have a good product or you will just be adding to an already crowded market.
842  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when us and millionaires get to the top? Normal food prices go sky on: August 14, 2017, 04:16:42 PM
I do not see how bitcoin price is related to food price. Food is affected by climate change, gas price, demand. If bitcoin price goes up, you can just buy more food but it will not jack up the price of gas or food. And the one's only affected by bitcoin price are the hodlers not 8 billion people in the world.
843  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: August 14, 2017, 03:35:49 PM
You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?

Yes ,  you have made the biggest mistake of your life. But it is not yet too late to correct it. You can buy bitcoin now but you have to spend more. We all have been there, I also know bitcoin when it was cheap but never saw the potential.
844  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons behind this Rise/Bubble? on: August 14, 2017, 02:31:07 PM
Bitcoin is just a hot commodity right now. It started with August 1 and then segwit locking in and the momentum just continued until now. Maybe newbies are buying in because of the hype the events created. But I think it is still healthy because there are real reasons to by hyped.
845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategy for most profit in 10 years from now on: August 12, 2017, 09:11:32 AM
You have 100$ now, so you buy bitcoin and hold. Next month you have 50$, you buy bitcoin and hold. Continue buying bitcoin with your extra money every month. The buy phase is not yet over, the price of bitcoin can still go very very high. Sma amounts accumulate and before you know it, you are rich.
846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price is increasing too fast, will there be a correction? on: August 12, 2017, 08:29:37 AM
Currently there is a strong resistance above 3900, so expect the price to always retract at that level. I think the price will not correct unless we surpassed 4000, maybe at 4500.
847  Economy / Speculation / Re: $3500 on: August 11, 2017, 09:48:19 PM
When will we see? Price seems to get stuck just below.

It is just a few dollars below 3500. We do not have to rush it, it will reach 3500 and past over it within the next few weeks. The price will continue to rise  until segwit is activated.
848  Economy / Speculation / Re: If War happens. on: August 11, 2017, 05:45:41 PM
Don't worry about bitcoin if these war happens. It is nuclear war, no one is safe. Even if nokor does not have enough firepower to match USA, and all it have is bluff. His actions, if he chose to start nuking any USA base might ignite wars all over the world. Bitcoin will be irrelevant then.
849  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do we stop buying Bitcoin ? on: August 11, 2017, 05:30:34 PM
Hi all, I believe all of us agree that Bitcoin value will keep rising. But with the limited supply of Bitcoin, the question is, when do we or how do we determine it is no longer profitable to buy Bitcoin ?

The limit in supply will not effect the profitability of bitcoin, in fact it will make the price of it higher because it will make the supply less while the demand the same or higher. And as long as bitcoin can be traded to altcoins, it will be profitable.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: August 11, 2017, 03:34:42 PM
I envy you because you have the luxury to enjoy your winnings.  I often use my winnings to buy my family needs.  I do not have the luxury to enjoy the money I won because I always prioritize the family needs.  I am happy to see my family getting all the things they needed and even saving some for the future needs.

You still have the luxury to gamble though. You still risk your money though you can just spend it for the needs of your family. You have a chance to lose it in gambling. I do not even have that luxury.
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Bitcoin is in the schools for students to explore on: August 11, 2017, 09:04:50 AM
That is great. I guess it is never too young to learn about bitcoin, blockchain and crypto in general. This is a good initiative for Australian primary schools. I guess we know where our next core devs are coming from. Wink Wink
852  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we stop Bitcoin from crashing? on: August 11, 2017, 08:02:55 AM
Bull and bear is a normal reaction of any market. You cannot stop the movement of the market unless you have a very large amount of funds that can manipulate it. Even if you can, do you really want to stop a bear market? You still earn from a bear market if you short it.And to others, it opens an opportunity to buy more bitcoins.
853  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: August 11, 2017, 07:52:04 AM
It is a good idea but with your gift should come with instruction on how to use bitcoin for those who are not yet introduced to bitcoin. It will go to waste if you give it and they don't know the value of it.
854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 10, 2017, 07:04:06 PM
Buy a small island where I can live happy. I will set up solar panels for electricity, cultivate the land, have small farms for food. It should not be too far away from the main land so I can still enjoy the city and return to my home for peace and quite at the end of the day. I am tired of the noise of the city but I think I will still miss it if I stay too long away from it.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After fork happenings for you on: August 10, 2017, 06:46:13 PM
I did not benefited from bch airdrop but I am still happy because the fork pushed the price of bitcoin really high. I do not regret not receiving bch because of the price increase.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I might have missed the boat on Bitcoin, but what about Ethereum? on: August 10, 2017, 06:38:23 PM
ETH does not need to be as valuable as bitcoin. It is an investment. All it need to do is to be more valuable than when you bought it. If you bought it early, chances are, you will be profitable in 2 or 3 years. Maybe not as much as bitcoin can give you but it is still profitable. And in investment, diversity is good. So investing in a few other more coins is healthy.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan the leader of Bitcoin trading on: August 10, 2017, 05:07:23 PM
It is really not that unexpected. Japan is very supportive of cryptocurrency and they have legalized bitcoin. It is just natural that there will be more trades in there. It is good for bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what prevents icos to reinvest the money they receive in their own ico again? on: August 10, 2017, 04:08:39 PM
The purpose of ICO is to fund your project. If  you roll it back, then you are not gaining anything but losing the value of your token. No one will stop  you because it is just insane to do it.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price BTC after 23 August? on: August 10, 2017, 03:49:58 PM
The price will only go up on the way to segwit activation. Everyone is anticipating it and of course there will be buys in anticipation of the improvement of bitcoin. Segwit is much needed for bitcoin to scale. This will push the price higher than what it is now. Though no one can really tell how much it can go high.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be THE Bitcoin on: August 10, 2017, 02:57:53 PM
Bitcoin has still majority of the support, I do not see it shifting anytime soon especially now that segwit is getting activated. I do not see BCH getting ahead if it does not get support from miners. Difficulty will just drop down and will be prone from outside attacks.
