1861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Keep Buying Bitcoin Alone if I Have Limited Resources? on: June 02, 2023, 01:29:47 PM
If you think you're really interested in making a profitable investment with lesser risk then first considers bitcoin, later if you're getting along and have improved more in knowing about how to research other cryptocurrencies, you can give a try on Ethereum as well and any other cryptocurrency you think worth it and deserves your investment after a thorough research on them, don't also get too involved in many altcoins because of the scam projects and don't invest on tokens if you're intending to hold for long.
1862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: June 02, 2023, 12:07:42 PM
Every casinos has it own requirements and many gamblers do not know this or maybe pay less attention to this aspect, some of this requirements were clearly stated in their TOS, nothing can change it because they put them there on purpose, gamblers always made a complain rue to their non compliance to these regulations and terms, ones you discover you can't cope anymore using a casino, you're free to go and try out others.
What is certain is that gamblers are too lazy to read the TOS in the casino. Hence, they forget what is allowed and what is not allowed so that when they accidentally make a mistake, they think it is permitted by the casino when the mistake is written on it. The casino. Casinos can change the rules easily but must let the users know so they won't be disappointed. And regarding the betting requirements before withdrawing the money, it already exists in the casino, especially if a gambler manages to win an event or promotion.

Isn't this one of the reasons why they will mount stage to paint a casino red all in the name of they have been restricted to perform some certain functions on the casinos, the next thing you discover is a scam accusation on such gambling platform, most of the challenges we encounters with the gambling platforms were as a result of our careless attitude towards reading about them in knowing what they want and dislike.
1863  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question about casino, sports bet on: June 02, 2023, 11:48:42 AM
Is there a difference of information on App and URL?
just to clarify, you are asking if there is a difference between the app and the site of the same online casino? yeah, there is, although most online casinos are already mobile-friendly, sometimes there are some features on an app that makes it a lot easier for mobile users to use and navigate through the online casino.

Additionally, almost all the casinos have both the website gambling platform and the app gambling version which you can download and install, in most cases when using the their website address to gamble, they may refer you to use their app or provide you with an information on going through their mobile app version, now left for your choice to choose the best preference you like the apearance to look like while gambling.
1864  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 02, 2023, 11:20:29 AM
Of course, it is important to remain vigilant and informed about data privacy practices when engaging with online platforms, including gambling sites and particularly if you are using the ones that belong to less reputable jurisdictions. Use the forum, read and make sure you go for reputable sites with long standing presence in the forum and on-line. That is the best protection.

I think its more safer and even better to engage onnthebuse of gambling platforms that requires no KYC just incase of the gamblers that would like to maintain the thier privacy, because once you filled in their KYC procedures, there's no more privacy there and the kind of casino used also depends because some can go beyond expectations in tracking one through these informations and the funds we have on their wallet remains theirs because we are using a online wallet which is a custodial form of wallet with them.

Even if they could find a casino which doesn't require them to produce KYC still they are not sure about its reputation. And maybe in long run they would get more bigger trouble since possibly they might turn scam which is not new here. Before I don't like to submit this details but since reputable casino require this to their user then I go with them and follow what they require since for me they are more safer rather than those small casinos which is reputation still questionable.

The challenge here is if two categories just as we've been discussing already, if the gambler have the intention of not using a KYC casino, secondly, using a no KYC casino does not guarantee safety that he wouldn't experience any form of scam from the gambling casino he has decided to choose, that's another risk on itself that he has to take the challenge to serve for a reputable gambling platform because it is not all zero KYC casinos can be trusted or reliable, some had already failed in the past and have ceased from existing.

I also believe the same, also if they are influencers and have a community it is very easy for them to make money quickly and that same money is given to the community just by following them, liking them, being on their streaming, all these things are like that, lkos influencers make a living by saying and doing a lot of Nonsense, but they are very stupid to play, what some of them do is take advantage of all these things, that's why I don't follow any type of influencers because for me what they always do is look for Money with their direction of doing things on the Web , things that as I said before I find to be quite silly , plus they don't Know how to play in Casinos.
But if they're only aiming to make a quick buck, it might not last long unless what they say in their videos can help their followers earn a lot. It will make the followers believe and follow what the influencer says. But as we know, not many influencers can provide correct info because most of them just want to make fast money, which makes many of them fail to get more followers and make money. We also have to be careful in following these influencers and filter what they say and if possible, we have to find other info to support what we want.

When it comes to making money through gambling, even those that are not interested in gambling we make move to participate because everyone want to earn through gambling, thar is why you see that the target of any gambling platform is to first handles the area of their advertisement by engaging the influencers to make promotions for them, but out of those that will give a try, few will stay and remain while others will left after they have achieved what they want or did not achieve what they wanted to.
1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 02, 2023, 10:04:16 AM
As everything is clearly mentioned in their ToS, violating the same gonna be problematic someday. Maybe for the moment we doesn't get about it. We itself know that we have violated the ToS using VPN. In such situation how can we request help on the blocking of our account.

It is a must for everyone to read the ToS, and I'm sure no one does it. Simply everyone go on the flow clicking agree. Understanding and not doing it seems to be fair, so that doesn't get into unwanted issues and enjoy gambling.

I will also alarm it to everyone involved notnto try thebuse of VPN onna casino of their platform kicked against such, it's one of the means people can adopt to attack them by manipulating the IP address and other shady acts using technology development softwares, the casinos also have a security network that deals with this kind of attempts to their website and once they discover the use of such, they mark your account and restrict some functions, these are part of the reasons you see many abusers reporting casinos on scam accusation board after they were the ones at fault.
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Behavioural signs that suggest you are Addicted to Gambling on: June 02, 2023, 09:40:09 AM
Another important factor to consider is to check if you're always broke after gambling, it's not a good habit to be engaged i begging around for a living after which you have spent the little you have on gambling, some will even use the money meant for them to feed and gamble with it, some go extra length in taking loans to gambles, all these are what we must look into and adjust before people it get weird on us that people begin to suggest quit for us.
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: June 02, 2023, 09:28:37 AM
Let's not forget, guys, that we are talking about bets here, it's not the Politics&Society section, is it? Smiley

I personally don't like Trump and a big part of the GOP, but I would place ten bucks on Trump with the current odds

if I was sure he wins the election. But actually I won't bet a cent on him, because he's not gonna win. Not in this universe, anyway.

I'd be interested in taking the odds historical charts and comparing them to the press releases of how much money each candidate raised every cycle. Right now those odds seem agreeable, DeSantis not being the longshot candidate and far from favored.

Comparable to the 2020 election -- incumbent Trump was always up in the markets for the majority of the election cycle. And we see how well that went: https://www.oddschecker.com/us/insight/specials/politics/20200624-2020-us-presidential-election-odds-and-betting

Literally if you look at the odds placed on each candidate, the higher the odds the lower the chances of winning for the candidate, but i still wonder why Donald Trump's is more optimistic about winning this time if he had made the very first slerk in the opportunity he had to win over Biden during his administration, i want to believe also that Biden cannot afford to let that same mistake got over him, i also believe the power of incubency to help Biden along the race only if he did not relent just the way Donald Trump did during his tenure.
1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About football betting on: June 02, 2023, 09:03:42 AM
You nailed it, folks! Football gambling? It's all about the team, and the house wins if they lose. But there's more to it, believe me. Sometimes, outside forces mess with the team's performance. Injuries, weather, all kinds of stuff. And the referee? They can be a game-changer.

That's gambling for you. Taking chances, fingers crossed, and hoping for the best.
Sport betting is for the whole team and not for a player. So whenever a gambler placed a bet on sport (football in particular) the supported team has to do well if not the bettor would loss his money or bet. Because in a live sport you are not betting with bot. That is why whenever you are betting a game you to look the squad of the team. If the opponent squad is better than your team at the time, bet for the best team and make your winning from there.
Agreed, the odds of winning are much higher if you bet with the best team. There is a tendency to bet on the popular and trending sports of the present time but before that, the squads should be checked well. Most teams have an adequate understanding of the top players. This is an important thing to do well. Whether you have good knowledge or not, it is always advisable to consider standout players while betting. If you want to win, you need to be calmer and more conscious in any decision making.

Sport betting is not what we should just assumed to be thesame as other gambling games because it's more flexible to predict as for me and there's no how you will gamble and not be satisfied with the results since you have the right to even remodifiy your bet before the end of each match, talking about the odds, they make use of bigger odds for the bigger teams because they know the outcome is almost 90% accurate to what they expected and only on rare cases you discover a big team loosing for a small opposition team and the gamblers win them big.

Below is a list of Premier League 2022-23: Managers who were sacked this season1
  • Brendan Rodgers, Leicester City
  • Graham Potter, Chelsea
  • Antonio Conte, Spurs
  • Patrick Vieira, Crystal Palace
  • Nathan Jones, Southampton
  • Jesse Marsch, Leeds
  • Frank Lampard, Everton
  • Ralph Hasenhüttl, Southampton
  • Steven Gerrard, Aston Villa
  • Bruno Lage, Wolverhampton Wanderers
  • Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea
  • Scott Parker, Bournemouth

This is just the premier league only, there are other managers who were sacked in the other leagues. So I was thinking, isn't there a way to bet on managers who will most likely be fired by their club management before the season ends judging based on their performance?

This is not the first experience in having such encounters with football managers being sacked, quite alright it may be die to their poor performance as expected especially when the team they manage perform woefully where they are expected to make a good edge, it also depends on the rate and level of coordination among the team members which the manager will be hold responsible if he's unable to achieve this perfect blend as well, as a football team, they are meant to have an increased performance on their matches especially when a new manager set in to take the lead of the team to the next level.

1873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: June 02, 2023, 08:21:56 AM
, if we don't want to see those ads, we will obviously need to clear the cache and cookies of our apps and browsers and try not to interact with videos or posts of the nature that we don't want to see anymore.

I am not saying you are wrong, but over here in my country, there are a lot of monetary agents and loan platforms. Any time I long on to YouTube, I see countless of those ads, particularly from those loan platforms and apps interrupting my video. I really do wonder why it must be those loan apps that keep interrupting my video. So the thing here is that I don't even interact with anything related to loans or those bank stuffs, but they keep coming up. If I should even expect those ads, they should majorly be about crypto-related stuffs.

then we should be mindful of the sites we visited and also take good care of what what offer we received from any online means of advertisements through the use of ads regardless of the platform it's coming from.

Almost every one of these sites now has cookies that save some activities and search words we use while browsing, just as @wiss19 has said. I know about the cookies, though, before I was not convinced that those ads do pop up because of those cookies and cache. But I really know that YouTube has just been dependent on infusing ads on their videos, weather cookies or no cookies. I still remember when I went to YouTube on a new device to watch some videos,, they still displayed some ads, but there is one payment feature now on YouTube where you have to pay so that those ads don't pop up any more, and unless you pay, you will still be seeing those ads despite clearing your cookies. Or maybe the rate of pop-up ads will reduce compared to usual if one keeps clearing their cache and cookies.

I think there use to be an option that will ask you to enable cookies while launching into some websites, also we can always clear the history to this and empty as well the cache on the browser we are using, honestly some ads could be as weird as launching you into their content without even waiting for you to click on them, thry usually comes along while you're opening a website opened together, though I've also seen some YouTube ads that will demand you to skip them after 5 seconds which they would have advertised their content as well using your own data.
1874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Casinos Should Do Survey From Time To Time To Assess You. on: June 02, 2023, 08:06:42 AM
Casinos should not be held responsible for the behaviors and the mistakes of their clients, especially since they warn them beforehand about the consequences of not gambling only for entertainment purposes.

You're not expected to have the casino moderate your lifestyle and the way you're been secured from any external threat against your account, no amount of verification they can do to tackle this except there never been an attempt to attack a user, going through verification process from time to time will be kind of boring thing to do, that alone will scare gamblers away since the world is advancing towards decentralized and privacy and people no longer subject themselves to KYC if they have an alternative to it.
1875  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Good way to save guard our relationship/marriage. on: June 01, 2023, 04:19:10 PM
Marriage must be taken seriously. Many couples get divorced because they don't tolerate each other and don't trust each other. Even though the purpose of marriage is to have a family covered with peace of love and affection. So basically, in a marriage, don't just be selfish, and you have to trust each other to build a harmonious family.

What we need in marriage or relationship is love and this must be a genuine one and not the fake or the type others use to deceive their partners, we must also take our relationship with all seriousness, have each other in mind, create time to have feeling and better opportunities to make discovery of selves, we must be honest and never cheated in the relationship, lastly we must be very tolerant to each other, divorce is not the solution to the marriage or relationship challenges, it's rather leads to being more frustrated deepens anger.
1876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Individuals attached to Bitcoin history on: June 01, 2023, 04:07:48 PM
This thread was created to discuss about Bitcoin history based on the people attached to its adventure and to share the stories of individuals that have contributed and encouraged Bitcoin growth. I can't really surf the internet for all, I believe it would be easy if contributions are added.

Aside Satoshi who have created his efforts in developing a decentr digital currency called bitcoin, we also have a number of researchers, coders, cryptographers and cypherpunks who have also contributed in many ways along the development of this digital currencies and technology, one of the most prominent person is Hal Finney, who is very close to Satoshi Nakamoto and happens to receive the first bitcoin transaction from Satoshi, they have worked in hands and join in collaborative efforts tothe success of bitcoin today.
1877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is data of historical returns on bitcoin for future investment ? on: June 01, 2023, 03:57:02 PM
How important is data of historical returns on bitcoin for future investment ? Do you check historical returns and make judgement based on that to [plan future investments in bitcoin ? Or it helps you just an encouragement to keep investing in bitcoins regularly.

The first and necessary step to take after learning about bitcoin is to dive into the historical  aspect and learn from how it begins to where it has being today, also study the major bullruns for all time high and the all time low and the duration for each, study the chart and compare the statistics from previous years as well, learn from thise who had invested earlier before now and when they set in, the duration they hodl and the things they always ensure to look after, the wallet used and learn from experience, there will always be a season for the peak of the market during Halving after every four years, the target is on bullrun when we attain a new all time high.
1878  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where can I invest 4k bitcoin on: June 01, 2023, 03:47:53 PM
$100 daily and stable. I think it requires good trading knowledge. i also want $100 per day with $4k investment. But it's not easy bro. the market continues to fluctuate, we must be able to read the market to trade quickly, but the risk of loss will definitely exist.
You're right OP thinks he has $4k and it's easy to make $100 daily by trading them. But basically what he doesn't understand is that if he invests then the market position comes down, he probably doesn't have it in his head. He may not have a fair idea about the market. But he must keep in mind that the market is always on the ups and downs. So OP should learn good knowledge about Bitcoin and market analysis before and think about trading later. Only then will he realize how difficult it has become to earn his daily income and how much risk there is likely to be on his money.

There's a good probability that one can earn upto hundred dollars i trading bitcoin but this may not be a regular experience in trading, sometimes you will even loose than earnings when trading, it may looks like gambling even though they are different things entirely, trading comes with having the full knowledge of the market price and the trends after thorough speculations on research and made often times.
1879  Economy / Economics / Re: My wealth plan for next 3 years on: June 01, 2023, 03:42:20 PM
So basically you are thinking of borrowing money to invest in Bitcoin and Dogecoin and hoping that it will give you high returns and make you a rich man over the next few years and then you will only be paying the interest? okay that's a pretty crazy idea in my opinion, why I say that because you are brave enough to go into debt to invest in crypto. Of course you need collateral to be able to get this loan and what if this plan doesn't work out the way you imagined? you have to be prepared for the possibility that you will be stuck in debt and you might be in a difficult position in the next few years. But if this works, maybe you will become as rich as you imagine and that is very cool.

The worst decision to make while trying to invest is for someone to go extra miles in taking loan to invest on a volatile cryptocurrency, i thought in the first place that OP is trying to suggest a way he's intending to use for generating money to be used for his investment in cryptocurrency, we still have along way to go before the bullrun begin which means he could have developed interest in earning bitcoin than lending it for an investment.
1880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AI Coins Speculation on: June 01, 2023, 03:32:08 PM
AI seems to be all the rage everywhere lately with most of the people online going crazy over the ChatGPT stuff.  In crypto, I noticed three AI coins that have been trending up more than the rest of the market...  FET, AGI and OCEAN.  Not telling you to buy or anything as they're already up by around 10% in a day.  Grin

I missed all three moves tbh but looking to get some if they go down a bit.

Edit:  Will post charts later if I can.

The coins can be included among the ones to look in for this season because theyhave bee pronounced on several occasions on different platforms and i think they are going to make a good stand this coming bullrun, let's expe to see more dip from the market, they are likely to also make some good profitabilities if invested, so we still expect more bear even before the halving so that more people can invest and hodl.
