You can also use a VPN, which will is not a method to fight against ads but rather you will not be psychologically profiled and targeted. You will probably only see random ads with a VPN. As long as you are careful with your data.

That can be considered as well. Most VPNs today have built-in ad-blocking software which is primarily designed to get rid of any advertisements for the benefit of their users. But since Youtube are surely and technically aware of that, not an assurance that some VPNs can likely bypass the advertisement shown while streaming on the Youtube platform.

I also don't think it's convenient anymore that I will reach the point where I will use a third-party tool just to block Youtube advertisements if, on the other hand, I really like the videos that I'm watching. It's also a form of support if users will not block the ads if they really a supporter of that Youtube channel.

For casual Youtube viewers that don't know some technical ways to get rid of Youtube advertisements, the platform is not for you if you are too sensitive about ad-free videos where in fact, you are streaming it there for free in the first place.

If the content creator you watch has other methods so you can support them financially, like a patreon or a premium subscription to their channel, then you can do so and still use a third party software of Youtube client to avoid seeing intrusive advertisements while enjoying your videos.

If they do not have one of those options, then it is weird, because most of Youtubers nowadays either have some crowdfunding account on either Patreon of Kofi or accept the help of sponsors, so they can continue to monetize their content.

The content creator has an option to stream on other unpopular platform too because Youtube and Twitch are really strict. Yeah most streamers are have Patreon or a premium subscription, don't forget they also give their referral link for poor people who want to support him but don't want to send any money.

However it depends on the streamer agreement with the casino, the casino can force the streamer to not use crowdfunding account since they've paid the streamer.

Well, I see it more often now compared to before, but it's a common thing to happen. Gambling sites are just ramping up their business to help gain more customers, because that's always the purpose of it, to attract new ande more customers with those ads, and this is not just common on YouTube videos; it's also both on Facebook, although I have not really been so active on Twitter to know if it extend to there too. But it really sucks 😔 to get those ads pupping up and obstructing ones video.
The ads you see on any platform depend on what you surf on that particular platform, whether it's YouTube, Google, Facebook, or any other platform. They track your activities through cookies and then use those cookies to show you personalized ads based on your interests which in this case are related to what keywords you've searched or what kind of videos and pictures you've interacted with.

It might be frustrating but that's what it is, if we don't want to see those ads, we will obviously need to clear the cache and cookies of our apps and browsers and try not to interact with videos or posts of the nature that we don't want to see anymore.

What is clear for sure is that a streamer does advertising or broadcasts gambling streams which he does because he can get more profit.
The first is from YouTube itself, he can get a certain amount of payment if he already has a lot of followers plus from the referrals that are shared if many people use it, you can be sure that the bonus from the referrals is also quite large.
YouTube is still free for gambling advertising and live streaming and we can see for ourselves that more and more people are using YouTube as their media for gambling advertising.
that's true (fall into the entertainment category), but not all streamers can make money from their videos on youtube when youtube knows that the content he makes is a video when he plays gambling

As long as you don't often do searches about gambling, you don't need to worry about recommended ads from YouTube, besides, many countries don't prohibit gambling ads on online platforms or social media

You need to remember that YouTube still gives freedom to advertise and broadcast gambling streams and those streamers who broadcast gambling who already have large enough followers can also make quite a large amount of money from YouTube.
If not, it's impossible for streamers to be able to play with large numbers of bets because they also know that it takes a lot of capital to play to get big wins so they can broadcast their bets for quite a long time.

Yes, it is clear that some countries do not prohibit gambling advertising on some social media because of the tax that is given, so even though these countries prohibit gambling, they still allow advertising like that on YouTube or other social media.

You're right, once they got hold of your preference you most like whenever you're online, they direct their ads in those categories and this make it very crucial for us to always clear our cookies if we don't want to be involved in any means they use in tracking us online, then we should be mindful of the sites we visited and also take good care of what what offer we received from any online means of advertisements through the use of ads regardless of the platform it's coming from.

Nothing wrong to see such thing since even if you do that still you can see such ads like that since many influencers inserting their gambling ads on their video. Its still up to us on how we deal those ads since if we got curious about what we see then maybe this is the start on our participation on gambling. If we already in situation where we like to play its better to lower down our expectations and make sure that we can always control ourself and always know our limit so that we will not heading into bad situation like addiction.

     -   If that's because of the youtube streamer, as long as the channel is monetized, you can really expect ads to appear there. Because that's one of the monetized youtube channels.

Sometimes that can be irritating, but for other gamblers, when something like that happens, it also attracts them. Even playing gambling and it's normal because that's where they make money anyway.

The channels are monetize in most cases but they don't consider the interest of the people that they will just send in pop up ads on the screen that one will be left with nothing than to click, if one could be a gambler and often receives gambling ads would have been better a little better than receiving ads on areas one is not interested about, i just which there's a way you can totally disabled any display of ads whenever you're online.

Well, yes, most channels are really monetize which is the reason why they can display such ads to generate additional income. Their target is to let their audience see the good side of gambling and how it works. Basically, you'll see the tip of gambling world or how these games are done to potentially profit in the long run. I've stumbled upon many of these already. Sometimes the ads is in between or at the end of the video. There are even times wherein the so-called influencers and vloggers are the one promoting it instead of putting an actual advertisement.

This is why people should be always on their guard whenever browsing social media or internet in general. Because you can't really make yourself excluded from these comparing to what you can do in casino sites. Being able to stop your urge will do matter a lot in this instances.

I think that increased number of gambling ads you see during YouTube sessions is because you have been visiting gambling pages or watch gambling content on YouTube. Google algorithms never show random ads. All of our devices and pages we visit collect information about us. Based on that, google give us specific ads. That is why there is no increase, but OP is too much involved into gambling.

, if we don't want to see those ads, we will obviously need to clear the cache and cookies of our apps and browsers and try not to interact with videos or posts of the nature that we don't want to see anymore.

I am not saying you are wrong, but over here in my country, there are a lot of monetary agents and loan platforms. Any time I long on to YouTube, I see countless of those ads, particularly from those loan platforms and apps interrupting my video. I really do wonder why it must be those loan apps that keep interrupting my video. So the thing here is that I don't even interact with anything related to loans or those bank stuffs, but they keep coming up. If I should even expect those ads, they should majorly be about crypto-related stuffs.

then we should be mindful of the sites we visited and also take good care of what what offer we received from any online means of advertisements through the use of ads regardless of the platform it's coming from.

Almost every one of these sites now has cookies that save some activities and search words we use while browsing, just as @wiss19 has said. I know about the cookies, though, before I was not convinced that those ads do pop up because of those cookies and cache. But I really know that YouTube has just been dependent on infusing ads on their videos, weather cookies or no cookies. I still remember when I went to YouTube on a new device to watch some videos,, they still displayed some ads, but there is one payment feature now on YouTube where you have to pay so that those ads don't pop up any more, and unless you pay, you will still be seeing those ads despite clearing your cookies. Or maybe the rate of pop-up ads will reduce compared to usual if one keeps clearing their cache and cookies.

On that note, it's better that way compared to receiving ads that you are not interested if you are a gambler, but then again, it's much better if you can choose whatever ads you want unlike what happened nowadays where you will see those ads and irritate you, it's a system that automate this advertisement, programs that automatically alert viewers and recommend those ads for possible interest/visits.

Having an ads while streaming in YouTube is not really a big deal and yes, having a third-party tool just for the reason to block these ads will be nonsense. Just treat it as a support and help towards the owner of the channel you're watching into because that is also their way to get paid and if it's not because of their uploads, we will not see the videos that we're looking for.

And if we still don't want to see these ads, we have 2 options. First is, we can always wait for a mere 5 seconds before we can skip it. Only 5 seconds, that's all what it takes to continue the videos we're watching. Second, we can always buy the premium for less than $3 per month to have an ad-free videos.

We can't choose ads to appear to the videos we watch but sometimes I get a survey related to ads if I've seen something that they're looking for specifically.

But, I don't answer those surveys they pop because I know that it's another way for them to gather data and that's how they're gonna feed me with ads that they've got ready for me.

I hope that we can choose ads but it's not like that. That's automatically set by them and it will depend on what niche you're watching on their platforms.

The problem in smaller and less popular streaming platforms, even though they are less strict with rules, is that some streamers may be forced by circumstances to stay pegged to a single website, perhaps due to contract with the sponsors.

I knew a case about a streamer I liked to watch, who was banned from Twitch and got a really hard time to continue to get sponsors, considering he was trying to move his activities to Facebook/Meta.

If YouTube had not become so "family friendly", they would still have the dominance/monopoly over the streaming market, but their policies scared streamers away.

Yes, by providing your insight with that kind of survey you'll giving them ideas what kind of advertisement to bring to your screen, though we really can't avoid them but we can continue ignoring it and take it as part of your visit, I mean just avoid clicking anything and allow yourself just to watch what you need to watch, nothing to do with those recommendations as it won't harm you as long as you are not doing minding them while watching or visiting the site that you really need to visit.

I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.
Most likely this is the result of the YouTube algorithm determining this is something in which you could be interested and now it is feeding you a lot of those ads, since I really doubt that YouTube is somehow pushing for more gambling ads or that gambling companies have out of nowhere decided to increase their advertising budget at the same time, and if those ads are bothering you that much maybe it is time that you use an ad blocker and forget about those ads for good.

there are a lot of adblockers that are free of charge and some do, but still, those are good investments tho. ads were a normal part of youtube, that is also how they can market their premium subscription so they can remove ads. In short, you can use tools such as other adblockers or you can also use other other browsing sites other done google chrome.
They are free but it does not mean they are that bad. I've been using some of them for a long time now and I never see a single ad interrupts me. It works like a charm. It's another story if I visit a site where they request me to turn off my Ad-Blocker. It's a way of supporting them for accessing their contents for free. There are better investments than these Ad-Blockers. Investments which will make your money grow. Of course cryptocurrencies are going to be on our top list.

Every platform has an AD and so as in Youtube but there is just content creators who are abusive and put lots of ADS on their videos. They think doing so will earn them thousands or even millions of cash. They did not know that it could cause annoyance to viewers and they will only skip those ADS or worse they will unsubscribe, ignore or report the uploader.

, if we don't want to see those ads, we will obviously need to clear the cache and cookies of our apps and browsers and try not to interact with videos or posts of the nature that we don't want to see anymore.

I think there use to be an option that will ask you to enable cookies while launching into some websites, also we can always clear the history to this and empty as well the cache on the browser we are using, honestly some ads could be as weird as launching you into their content without even waiting for you to click on them, thry usually comes along while you're opening a website opened together, though I've also seen some YouTube ads that will demand you to skip them after 5 seconds which they would have advertised their content as well using your own data.
