18721  Other / Meta / Re: Email when new Trust is left on our feedback? on: December 23, 2013, 10:24:11 AM
I hardly check my own feedback so I would like to get an email when I get new feedback, bad or good.

I was wondering if users were notified when they get feedback. This would be a good option.
18722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does the bible say about Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2013, 10:19:05 AM

I can honestly say that I've never really met a Christian although I've met many who claim to be a Christian.  Upon inquiry, I've found that all of them were either agnostic (they didn't know if God exists, not that they believed that God could not exist) or they were damaged souls who had (in practice, not necessarily in doctrine) been taught that God is "a vengful God" that demanded loyalty and obedience, regardless of how well his appointed representatives in the lives of any particular child displayed their godlyness.  The obvious reaction to a vengful God is rejection.

Fixed. I'd probably consider myself an Atheistic Agnostic, because I don't believe I have all the answers or you can say with 100% proof there is no god, and I suppose their could be one or many, but I have no reason to believe there are.

Without a doubt, if you require scientific proof that God exists before you can have faith, then you will never find it.  But I know from personal experience that a more personal form of 'proof' will often present itself when sought.  There is nothing that I can tell you that would convience you that I'm more than insane or a great storyteller, but I've seen proof enough.

I don't really require scientific proof and I don't see how anyone can prove that something doesn't exist any way, but when something appears to no one, says nothing and does nothing, I tend to believe that it does not exist.

It was two of every Kind of animal not every species. The Ark was around 500 feet long and 3 stories tall. If Noah had gathered the animals when they were young and not full grown, then it would be entirely possible. Think of how many people can fit in a football stadium.

I think the idea of one guy building an ark that is as big as a football pitch to be just as ridiculous.

The idea that Noah couldn't have hired locals who thought he was insane is, likewise, ridiculous.

And viri and bacteria can live fine under water.  They didn't need to be in the ark any more than the fish did.

And what about all the parasites etc? And also AIDS. That didn't spring up until the twentieth century along with all sorts of other nasty diseases that are appearing all the time. Either you believe according to science that these diseases adapt/evolve/mutate etc, or you believe God made them, which would make him even more of an empire state bastard.

I cant believe you guys have no life and keep kissing stunnas ass, I meant no disrespect, but this is utterly absurd, you would have to make over 50-60 posts a day to reach that goal. :/

62.5 this month Cheesy. I think it's absurd to not take part in one of the signature deals. It's easy Bitcoins, and if you hold them I'm sure they'll be worth a lot more in the future. And people don't have to go for the max payout, but I'm at least attempting.

Yet another sob story. People never learn that begging never brings anything around here.

Sometimes people do donate to these, but it's normally small amounts or happens more often with other alt coins. Some people are just naive and feel bad, and some people just want to help. From the perspective of beggars, what have they go to lose? They either get some free coins or they don't.
18726  Other / Off-topic / Re: Finished watching Breaking Bad?? What next? Any suggestion? on: December 22, 2013, 08:57:56 PM
If you don't wanna go all mainstream, I found Harper's Island to be very refreshing. It's old-school and Agatha Christie's like, which is quite rare.

Sounds interesting. I'm downloading now.

18728  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Overview of Signature-Ad Campaigns on: December 22, 2013, 08:51:29 PM
Gonna be updating now. But please send me a PM if you notice that something is not up-to-date. I don't read all the signature-ad-topics on this forum on a regular basis.

edit: Updated.

Eagerly awaiting to see if bitsplay.ga will pay out.

Yeah, me too. I can't see him keeping those rates even if he does though.

Stunna/PrimeDice still is far ahead of the pack. I always wonder why people choose to go for other less rewarding ones. Baffling.

And where did he keep all the viruses and diseases? Or did God create them all later for a laugh? Even most biblical scholars don't believe Noah's ark to be literal, but that's usually what they always say when science or reality proves them otherwise.
18730  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in Aliens? on: December 22, 2013, 08:25:57 PM
It's very probable that there is life in some capacity out there. Then again, maybe the reality of lifeforms forming is so rare and actually almost impossible that there's only a 1 in an infinite chance to have arisen, so maybe we are alone, but given the sheer size of the universe and number of planets, it's unlikely that we are.

It's highly unlikely there isn't another intelligent species (similar to humans) out there.

And I don't really like the term "alien," because to another species we are the aliens.

Well, they're alien lifeforms to us or Extra Terrestrials.

Yes and aliens exist 100 percent, there are many stories of ufo's appearing and irregular flying patterns, just ask a lot of military pilots.

Well of course UFOs exist. If I throw a Frisbee in the air and somebody goes "What da fuck is that?", then it is an Unidentified Flying Object. Do  Alien Spacecraft ever visit earth? Highly doubt it.

I've seen a UFO for 40 minutes, took pictures with my camera zoomed in fully.

Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs-u4ELBy04

I believe aliens are what we call today "gods". Go research.

18731  Other / Off-topic / Re: Several Silk Road moderators arrested by FBI on: December 22, 2013, 08:10:11 PM
scammers making a business seem legitimate so that more and more people would join. once they reach what they believe their peak is, they run off with the money.

apparently it's supposed to mean LE or a group of people trying to trap you, but not necessarily a scam.

Ah, yeah, the latter is correct. But I'm also sure that would be entrapment. The Feds had unnoticed access to the initial SR site, so I don't understand why they wouldn't've just kept that running and picked off DPR later and/or installed their own DPR.
18732  Other / Meta / Re: Making bitcointalk look more modern! on: December 22, 2013, 08:05:59 PM
The forum does look a bit dated, but apparently there's new forum software coming anyway (although apparently it's been 'coming' for quite some time Cheesy).
18733  Other / Meta / Re: Database errors when replying and general forum sluggishness. on: December 22, 2013, 08:02:33 PM
502 Bad Gateway

What....the fuck......is up?

Yeah, was getting this intermittently a lot earlier, but it's slowed down now.
18734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has it gotten better for you? on: December 22, 2013, 07:58:59 PM
How you view BTC that is? When it takes big dumps and crashes, I don't really panic anymore. I also don't think to myself "if i had only put in $5,000 into it a few years ago, I'd have enough to retire now" anymore. A month ago, when all this hysteria hit, that was all I could think.

The price fluctuations have never bothered me as I'm holding for a considerable while, but I like it when the price is rising and can't help but feel a little smugmode. When you first get into cryptos there's obviously the whole if only I had bought when I first heard of them or why didn't I buy more? etc, but that's passed now. I also used to constantly check coinmarketcap, but now I only really look once or twice a day.
18735  Other / Off-topic / Re: Several Silk Road moderators arrested by FBI on: December 22, 2013, 07:52:35 PM
i guess the definition of honeypot is different from what i thought it was.

Nope, I’m afraid to tell you it's not a pot full of honey Cheesy. What did you think it was?
18736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Overstock on: December 22, 2013, 07:47:32 PM
I'm sure BTC's value will rise when they actually make serious steps to implement it. July is still a way away. Maybe they'll pull out of accepting it and/or only ever intended to get some free publicity out of it anyway. I'd never even heard of Overstock until they announced it, so it worked either way.
18737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we know that Bitcoin won't be regulated? on: December 22, 2013, 07:43:33 PM
Is it possible that Bitcoin will be regulated? And if it will be, then how would we know Huh I have heard stories, speculating that if someone holds 51% of the total amount of BTC they will have kind of a monopoly position and can make or break the coin alltogether. Is this true?

No it is not possible that bitcoin will be regulated and if it was, there would be no way to know about it. It is like in China right now.

Of course it is possible and almost certain that governments will regulate Bitcoin. They're not just going to let people use and launder money without paying taxes on it.
18738  Other / Off-topic / Re: My friend has had some really bad luck... on: December 22, 2013, 07:38:18 PM
I already have enough BTC for myself, and am not interested in trying to con people just to get even more.

Send him some of yours. Nobody has any reason to believe these stories whether they're in fact true or not, because they're posted here daily in various scenarios.
18739  Other / Meta / Re: error page for posting on: December 22, 2013, 07:30:59 PM
yes ...today i encountered a lot of problem to post.

Still getting it intermittently. A lot of bad gateway and contact the administrator pages.
18740  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does wikipedia remind of you the beggards on this forum? on: December 22, 2013, 07:27:11 PM
why cant wikipedia simply put ads in their sites? they will make loads of money and will stop begging.

No. It is against their policies. They claim that accepting ads will make them more vulnerable to cabal editing.

Change their policies... profit?
